Title: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think?
Post by: cryptowomba on November 26, 2019, 05:00:44 PM
I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/interesting-crypto-projects/games-blockchain-2019-xdqjjz?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Blockchain and gaming can exist very close and I think that this unity will have a revolution effect for industry. Thehe is existing some of projects wich unite gaming and blockchain. One Of them is Diagon.

Blockchain can be for gaming. I see the integration of the game to the technology and use case of it would be for the items. The in-game currency can be an altcoin and that could be the developer's option.

This is going to be an epic integration to the gaming industry because, for a long time, all of the games have their own currency. So, if there will be a connected cryptocurrency to the game, you can get paid to play.

Of course, blockchain games are a great idea. This is an opportunity not simply to play video games, but also to receive real income and this will attract a large number of users to the game world, which means that cryptocurrency will be widely used. In addition, gamers are protected from fraud and cheating, thanks to the use of technology.

Gaming on the blockchain grew so fast and is still expanding from what a few years ago, most of these gaming platforms were build on the EOS Blockchain and because of the recent spam attack, it just served to show us that blockchain gaming still has a long way to go and we still need a truly commercial blockchain that would be able to handle the thousands of transactions that gaming always imposes on a blockchain every minute, an online casino yesterday announced that they would be giving EOS a 30 day ultimatum to fix the issues or they would be migrating to another blockchain.

It is great way how to attract young people to new technology. As soon as they realize the advantages of blockchain technology - for example non-fungible token used for collecting rare things, they will definetely use crypto also in other way.

Gaming is a billion-dollar industry and it has a very huge potential for the growth of blockchain. We have seen so many projects in this giant industry that convert into cryptocurrency. Some are new gaming platforms that are themselves created on the blockchain technology. Some are focused on streaming, some on games development themselves, some on paid competitions, and so on.

It's really for gaming and there are some platforms that have used blockchain to support its gaming platform and you can try to take a look at harmony.
Currently, the gaming industry in the blockchain still needs to get more development. But in this case, i can say the gambling industry must be included in the gaming industry.
The gaming industry still have the future but the problem is the developers need more time to do more research about what will be the real purpose of blockchain and search for the real implementation of the blockchain itself to support the gaming industry.
I believe if the gaming industry will evolve with the further development of the blockchain itself to be used in the gaming industry.
We have some platforms that have runs blockchain for dapps gaming.

The game is a very practical and important application of Blockchain technology. Blockchain provides useful tools for gamers such as decentralized asset exchanges, verified ownership of virtual assets or virtual objects in the game. Besides making payments at a high rate and giving developers the opportunity to make money from the digital products they create.

Actually the combination of blockchain and gaming is nothing new. If I look personally, the games that are integrated with blockchain are very boring. Therefore many platforms like this are very quiet and die slowly. And I think if the blockchain is integrated into a game like MMORPG or MOBA, there will definitely be lots of people who will play it. With this, many people will get to know crypto. No longer struggling in betting games, gambling and the like.

There are already gaming platforms which are using the blockchain technology, if you are aware of Dapps, you'll know about it. EOS is well-known by crypto users but not yet popular. I want to see the evolution of the gaming industry with the blockchain. I hope someday MOBA games would adopt it. I also believe that there's a future for this, there's always room for developments and innovations.

Bockchain is a place for all innovation platforms that want to be developed, including for the development of games that are integrated with blockchain. Currently many projects are developing blockchain based games. There are some who are successful and able to penetrate the market and there are those who fail because of technological constraints and lack of funds. All game innovations can be developed on the blockchain. Maybe, in the future maybe the game will be integrated on all blockchain.

Gaming on the blockchain is a good thing but it has a low supporters for it to grow up. I used to join gaming projects for years now and all what i join has being failed and has no supporters to keep it alive. So i would dare to say gaming on the blockchain is a good thing to make but it has lack on investors to keep it alive for a long time.

Playing games on Blockchain can make that altcoin's blockchain heavier and generate some unintended errors.  Game history can be specifically and accurately recorded.  I was worried about being able to hack to cheat in the game because not long ago someone hacked EOS blockchain in a Dapp and he made a lot of money by raising the win rate.

I think that's good idea a blockchain base games sounds interesting and i think it has a bright future to compete with the existing giants in the gaming industry sector for sure some platforms are already doing this option, a blockchain base gaming can give a new perception in the entire gaming industry. that's why its better to accelerate its current development to bring more opportunity in the coming years.

I think currently the market is advertised as being bigger than it is.

Crypto kitties took the world by storm last year and since then i've not seen anything to get me excited, but it is still an emerging industry and I expect that it will grow with more blockchain adoption.

Well written article and thanks for sharing the blogging platform. I've signed up and tipped your article (which has given me some BAT!) I will be using this platform from now on and i would recommend it to others who are looking to earn established tokens without spending any of their money. You can sign up through the article in this thread.

The development of the game industry in the world is rising, we can see from the participation of everyone at each tournament held, even the people of the crowd who changed their work to Pro player, and also streamer.
I see my social media every day and a lot of people are doing livestreaming game play.
So the adoption of blockchain on games should be developed, it may take a bit of time for customization but will succeed.

There has always been a lot of interest in blockchain gaming. The idea of taking your items from one place to another is the way to go and having your items worth something is good idea since this is what we want and we paid for them. It will be very much like steam trades work but with every single item and it will be held or withdrawn into wallets. There is so much potential here and there have been projects before but so many of them failed. For sad. :( Thankfully there are a few games out nothing serious but it is a start.

Well it isn't impossible but I have mixed feelings about it. I remember back in the days when Facebook promoted its Facebook Credits for in-game purchases. It didn't last for even half a decade.
Common games these days have their own sort of currency in-game to buy exclusives and that makes game and blockchain can co-exist with each other.

Oh right!! I forgot all about FB doing that. We talking far back now. :)

That is quite popular now, one of their examples is the blockchain Ethereum and EOS. If you know the gaming platform CryptoKitty this platform very goes viral before and everyone wanted a kitty. The blockchain gaming platform is decentralized, and probably some of them are tokenized it means they issue their own token and you can use this to gamble as your fund on their gaming platform. Nevertheless, the blockchain gaming platforms these days are very common and useful when it comes to promoting digital coins as well.

The crypto industry that is engaged in my gaming is very supportive of their project if it really is the intention of waking up like CUBIEX. Their gaming platform and now there is a beta tester campaign to live streaming on their project. I'm trying and if it works will make a breakthrough gaming industry that can make blockchain and games can be done in 1 platform.

Yes, esport forms a unique niche that attracts many interested people, especially millennials who are very familiar with the development of technology and information. With the blockchain project on gaming, of course, it will make blockchain and cryptocurrency more widely known. Especially if you use cryptocurrency for the purposes of building an account or buying items, etc. related to the game, it will make this even more interesting.

In my opinion, blockchain seems to be applicable to all industries where it is likely to help. It is simply a ledger and sometimes it is applicable to gamers who can buy and sell items easily and do not need intermediaries.
I was also one of the people who had a lot of trouble paying to buy items on the game, because I was young and didn't have a credit card so it was hard to pay. So this idea is a good idea and I'm pretty supportive of this.

Blockchain is for everything. I've remembered that there are a lot of projects that are related to gaming before such as skin coin and sgamepro but they don't succeed much; perhaps a lot of hardcore gamers are not into crypto yet. Gaming industry suits indeed in blockchain market indeed. With the rapid changes in gaming industry, a Blockchain can help its users though.

What's the article really about? Gaming platforms on  the blockchain wheels or shilling Publish0x. If you want to talk about Publish0x, I'll suggest you dedicate a special thread for it. Btw, I did read the article, as a matter of fact, I enjoyed it. but this is a bad marketing technique.

Talking about Gaming, I've gotten a firsthand experience on Tron and EOS gambling dapps in the past. But I'm yet to see a full fledged blockchain powered game so far. Hopefully soon in the future.

Moreover, it is an innovation for developers to find a way to switch from traditional games to a decentralized model.

Blockchain doesn't solve any problems in gaming, and there's no big fundamental problem in gaming in the first place. Either developers make a good product and players buy it and love it, or they make a bad one and everyone hates it. All this talk about owning your game assets and decentralizing games is really not interesting to gamers.

Crypto and blockchain spaces are a wrong place to ask this kind of questions, you'll only get biased answers here, cause people are hyping everything crypto/blockchain related. Try asking gamers and game developers the same question if you want to get a good answer.

I, too, am of the opinion that gambling is exactly that branch of business that is most prone to the introduction of cryptocurrencies.

I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future?
Games are a whole industry where a lot of money is spinning.Games on the blockchain are very interesting, but so far they produce very primitive games.Perhaps after a while everything will change and cool games will be released. The chances are definitely there. And if we consider the game is not for the computer and for browser games(let's say poker),then the success of the blockchain is simply guaranteed.

Games on the blockchain makes sense only if you collect rare things. But for games like FPS why you need decentralization? Decentralization will never be as fast as centralization.

Gaming on the blockchain is a very good concept

from 2017 I have seen many projects with this concept but nothing has really become very big like online games in general, but I am sure in the future Gaming on Blockchain will be adopted in bulk by gaming companies.
You have a good point, sooner or later it will become a bigger community cause this will open a lot of opportunity of making different Gaming platforms in a blockchain and we will see some more players from the bounties transforming into collecting tokens by playing.

the real problem is that projects that carry the theme of Gaming don't really do anything serious in the gaming world,
we can see a lot of cryptocurrency projects about gaming and until now there hasn't been a game they made for mass adoption.
if there really is a game that they make, it's not so good and it doesn't attract the attention of many people.

In regards to the article, so far i'm waiting to see what it will bring. Gaming on the blockchain so far has been dominated by Cryptokitties but that was a long time ago. I think we will see it grow, but for now I am not impressed.

If gaming will be powered by blockchain then I think that it will become more successful as an industry. If video games will become transparent and decentralized then players will have more devotion because they know that the video games that they are playing are trustworthy and it is worth it for their time to invest into a game since they have the power because of the decentralized system brought by the blockchain technology.

Not really though, most of the people that know blockchain or atleast have a deep understanding regarding blockchain rarely play any game. They will just try some mobile crypto game and thats it never made it to cash out because it literally consume time and give a little reward. I support if there's a blockchain based game but personally I can't see it becoming mainstream in the future because people really dont care about small game.

Blockchain for everything, for games too, it was created to improve life in general. I know several games on the blockchain, so I think everyone here understands that it's too late to discuss this topic, since there are already games.
Blockchain technology is available to everyone. Each existing system can improve itself with the help of blockchain. It provides features that include decentralization, security, transparency and immutability. Being honest, all the systems of the world do need transparency. CryptoKitties and Spell of Genesis are the famous blockchain based games but still a lot can be made because the existing number is not enough.

It's also effective and fun if cryptocurrency is used as a gift and transaction tool for all activities in the game.

You are right, it just becomes seasonal. Unless there is a game that is really professionally built PUBG class that adopts all payments for built items using cryptocurrency would be more fun. Whereas small games are only crowded a moment ago will disappear. But this remains a very unique and potential niche to be developed

and if i may add on this, gamers are mostly in front 24/7 on their computers/gadgets so the adoption on this area is really easy peasy. they can crack difficult games how much more in dealing with crypto? somehow they are dealing with digital currencies on their game because they need to buy things using the coins within the game. so actually the process is not really new to them.
and gaming industry is a multi-billion industry so to speak, so integrating blockchain in this industry is not too difficult. i guess they will be one of the easiest to deal business with in terms of integrating blockchain tech in their ecosystem...

I've been playing games since I was a kid, and lemme tell you the LAST thing I want to do is having to pay for ***ing lootboxes so greedy companies can nickle and dime for beta/halfassed content. The biggest perpetrators are EA (FIFA/2ksports) and Epic (fortnight). Besides, they pissed off congress and they're under scrutiny for gambling for said lootboxes, i mean 'surprise mechanics.'

If you meant something like Stadia. Maybe. In the future. It's too laggy to be worth a damn.

Of course, blockchain games are a great idea. This is an opportunity not simply to play video games, but also to receive real income and this will attract a large number of users to the game world, which means that cryptocurrency will be widely used. In addition, gamers are protected from fraud and cheating, thanks to the use of technology.

Cryptocurrencies are gonna push the gaming industry to the next level by elevating the earnings system for professional gamers. The gaming industry is a innovative and new movement that has it easy to integrate new technologies such as ERC20 and ERC721 Tokens. CS:GO, Dota etc. are already at a stage where this implementation is gonna happen sooner or later.

Majorty of games on the blockhain are very simple variant of typical falsh games from 2000s. I dont see any usecases
Most of the time it's just a small project created by individuals hoping to create passive income out of it. Basically rewarding people to let ourselves earn money which is understandable. Until now we haven't found any profitable model for this kind of thing in a bigger scale. Giving incentives or reward for gaming is indeed attractive but there's just no room for the developers to really earn money out of it thus lacking progression.

scale of profit in the game is indeed not much in my opinion, plus quite a lot of competitors that make competition in the gaming market will certainly be more difficult. some game projects also cannot succeed because of the lack of revenue, and usually the game is only played if it attracts many people

What's a falsh game? There are no games like the games from 2000s they are not that advanced. There are mostly basic RPG/collector games. If you can't see any use cases -_- your useless comment has not use either.
So you don't see the use case in having your counter strike go skins attached to token you can buy and sell or trade for other items out of other games?? Steam already allows you to do some of this. So are you telling me that steam is doing something that has no use?

The sustenance of enthusiasm from the players is really hard to achieve.
But with blockchain games, they know that everything is transparent, supposedly.
That is already a plus factor of these gaming platforms.
I think they still haven't found a way on how to keep their players interest.

It's not caused by the management but the fact if to do research and development for blockchain to be used in the gaming industry needs a lot of money. that can't be done by a single ico platform. The management becomes the side problem. All of icos are using gaming as an idea to be implemented in the blockchain has already failed.

Gaming is becoming a big and high-value industry nowadays. Blockchain should be able to disintegrate this industry but in my opinion it needs good and large-scale marketing. Everyone currently holds a smartphone and more than 30% of smartphone holders play games on their cellphones so there are good opportunities for new projects to work on this business sector

Very interesting indeed.  I wonder what the roadmap would look like for scaling?
Scalling doesn't matter a lot in this case as so many scalable platforms that is enough to cover the TPS that needed to create gaming based on the blockchain platform but what we needed is the very skilful developer that can create a proper idea about the gaming based on the blockchain platform.
There is no a lot of good developers to work in this area. we can try to take a look at some platforms where you can call them as a dead project just like mobile go.

Also thanks for sharing the crypto blog as well, I've started earning BAT without investing money or mining, I highly recommend it, you can sign up through the link in the quoted text. I've already earned more from this platform than Steemit.

Tried publish0x but the earnings isn't that good actually, I doubt you can earn much from it. Its not worth unless you can make articles viral and have good amount of followings in social media to go into your article. Same with steemit, you'd be much frustrated to see even if you have to make professional articles you'd be chasing newer issues in crypto to get around. You'd rather be writing on your own website and apply a position to a team instead.

Did you know that majority of the transactions on the EOS Blockchain are as a result of d'Apps? And did you know that most of these d'Apps are gaming d'Apps? Blockchain games are evolving fast starting from Cryptokitties in the Ethereum network which actually managed to clog the network for a while, other Blockchain games started popping up and when Ethereum scalability started being an issue, some of them.moved to the EOS network, I think Blockchain gaming would be a very neccessary part of our future when blockchain becomes mainstream.

Blockchain and game are definitely a two technologies but you're wrong when you said they can be mix together because blockchain itself be use in a various ways. However, there's a lot of crypto project which have been created base on blockchain and game and they are flourishing.
I wonder where you get that statement you make earlier

I trust blockchain technology and do not trust casinos, especially online casinos.
The casino itself is designed in such a way that you cannot win, the probability is always against you.
But we never know if the casino works honestly, perhaps the probabilities are artificially changed for the worse. I believe that blockchain solves the problem of dishonest casinos.

Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

The gaming industry is continuously expanding and blockchain technology really fits the core of it. The increasing demand of clients in gaming has lead to the advantage of blockchain over other kind of servers. Blockchain will also be a big part of the advancement of the future. Other industries like online shopping could also benefit well with blockchain.

transparency will be practiced if casino will integrate blockchain technology within their systems. it is for the benefit of the players and also on the casino side, gaining trust from its gamblers.
do you want to have credibility in the gambling community or not? of course in the long run, you want your players happy and at peace that they are not being screwed. without players, casino will die.

It was really interesting that the gaming industry is getting engage to get along with the usage of blockchain technology to be used in playing variety of games. I think the union of these two will have do evolve and further be develop in the near future to suit for each other. Blockchain technology have varieties of usage depending on the user and not just enclosed for the purpose why a certain is made or created. Since blockchain technology have a vast usage in the society, I think it can also be used for gaming for the purpose of fun and entertainment. Well, I guess if you were a fan of gaming, I think using blockchain can do also be another way to earn more crypto coins as a reward for playing the game by using blockchain technology. There are already lots of existing games that is based on blockchain technology like online casinos which proves that gaming and blockchain will most likely be suitable to be used together providing a good relationship between the two.

Blockchain is a system that will be act as a core and just try to take cryptokitties as the best example for about about how blockchain can be mixed with the game. You must need to learn more about the real purpose of blockchain and the main aims for blockchain itself to be the protocol that can be used to developer various application and this time it's called as DAPPS.
But that needs a skillful developer.

Still needs time to evolve, i've not seen anything since Cryptokitties to excite me. Very well written article though, which is a great starting point for blockchain and gaming.

Thanks for sharing the crypto blog as well, I've not used it before, but i've signed up and started earning BAT without investing money or mining, I highly recommend. It's a great starting point / bounty hunting platform to earn top tokens. You can sign up through the link in this thread.

Crypto kitties you don't really play with just trade really. Trade for profits. I want proper gaming items that I can work for and earn so that I can get good value for all my hard work in games. The ability to sell and then bring the value into other games is something the gaming community really needs. Spread the wealth and create wealth through gameplay. I really hope people find a way to take on the massive challenge. Too many projects focusing on crap and scams.

I am hoping to find a platform that we can use our major coins such as btc, eth or etc to fund gaming currency. If you happened to know one, dont hesitate to pm or inform. Thank you.

If I'm not wrong there are more gaming applications completely integrated to the blockchain. Most being on the ethereum platform and eos platform. There were very limited number of applications available with the Steemit platform. The success is dependent on the way its been carried forward, as of now very few games on the ethereum platform is popular.

Gaming and blockchain is definitely synching well imo

Trustless and transparency in gaming is definitely important especially on games that has an open marketplace where user can trade items
With blockchain, most of the old days hack like where people spoof/spawn in game currency out of nowhere wouldn't happen
Because everything is track and traceable

We have game like Gods Unchained which is built on top of Ethereum blockchain
The game is like Heart Stone but built on Blockchain

This isn't something new. Gaming on blockchain existed back in 2015. Remember crypto kitties? It was on Ethereum network and one of the first games that has been launched on blockchain. A hype was created since people could make a lot of money by breeding kitties (or something like that. Never played that game so can't tell much about it). I have also heard Ubisoft was looking for options and ideas to integrate blockchain technology to their current existing system. Lets see what happens over. The future for blockchain seems bright.

I often play games on blockchain. especially games with very large prizes. but some of the games I tried were still a lot of bugs that had to be fixed by the developers especially there was often cheating by gamers in controlling the game situation. The point is the game play on the blockchain is one way to introduce crypto to young people, I think we have to support the blockchain game to continue to grow in the years to come.

I think, most gamers in the industry want a free to play. I hope there will be more interesting blockchain based-game develop soon with the genre of RPG strategy and could run smoothly.

Game is an interesting platform and blockchain is a popular technology right now, the platform should attract more users and finance the game to continue running and maybe even become the next big thing for blockchain. Next time blockchain will be paired with education and entertainment as these items are different and can have a positive impact on blockchain themselves thus possibly pumping the coins price in the near future.

Mostly only small games that already integrated with the blockchain but HD game is not yet even using blockchain as a system to create an integration payment system to the game. Gambling is just a common thing in the crypto while we never seen a HD game just like what you have been seeing it on the steam use blockchain.
The adoption of blockchain to the game needs the more research.

There are blockchain-based games as of now. If you searched for some information about that you can see that there are games that are being produced and it is blockchain-based. There are also games that you can use cryptocurrency but we cannot say that it is crypto-based because there are things you can buy. To know that blockchain-based games are being produced, it is very good to know because we can say that the currency is not only the one who is innovating or evolving but the gaming industry also. My opinion is different from yours. I am not too focused on businesses leveraging blockchain technology to better support the gaming platform. because most of those businesses make very little money and don't seem to bring great things. In my opinion, blockchain should be included in reseller businesses or retail businesses. There we have blockchain technology to manage the products that are in and out of stock, it will be easier to manage and save both time and labor.

I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

Actually blockchain technology can innovate or be developed so that it becomes something new. the fact is already seen that any industry that blockchain is indeed very important for their ecosystem. Blockchain in the game I think this is a serious thing, because there would be many who support it if you hear the advantages of the blockchain. I also think the video game industry will make its own currency involving the blockchain in development.

This is great innovation for Blockchain that it is becoming more user friendly and helping people to provide new opportunities like Gaming and other DApps. You said true that here is a lot of games Running on Blockchain is still to be coming more and also providing more option to making money with play games here.

Agree, the demand for the blockchain is kept increasing for games and even companies are developing Dapps which will help to get more exposure for the project. Companies are choosing blockchain as a gaming platform because it is very comfortable for them to develop.

blockchain technology and payment using cryptocurrency for gaming platforms can indeed provide a lot of profit because that way everyone can make purchases of items in a very easy way and do not need to use fiat money anymore, the transactions provided are also very fast whereas for developers will be very happy because by getting bitcoin that way they can get a lot of profit when the price of bitcoin becomes very expensive and blockchain technology can also be developed for various game technologies.

Just try to remind everyone if some big game company like ubisoft is starting to search the blockchain platform to create a partnership in the future development for the games. When there was a big company has started to do that and that means if there is a lot of potential for the gaming to be used blockchain as a part of the core system.
Crypto can be used as in game payment system.

I thought that gaming, especially FPS games are not possible on the blockchain due to its decentralization nature, but when I saw The Bitcoin Bounty Hunt game - the first FPS game running on the Lightning network I was amazed how smooth it is. And I believe more game will come and players will be more interested in blcokchain games than classic one because they will be motivated by collecting worthy things (coins, tokens, rare things and so on).

It is not new concept there are plenty of project with same idea of using Blockchain with games and some of them are very popular for example enjin, gamecredit ,etc while there are some useless project as well who make token of game which is unnecessary. Blochain gaming industry will get push when some big gaming giant will involve themselves with crypto and use the Blockchain for their data storage.

Some of the games listed in this article rely on such things as the domestic gaming market. The problem is that such games are almost completely captured by multi-accounts, farms and bots.
Thus, the gameplay turns into a routine in which it is necessary to introduce an unequal struggle in the market against the aforementioned adversaries. Neither earn nor enjoy this game is almost impossible.

And so many platforms that based on the gaming in the crypto already failed just like mobilego, void and many more. This is a very difficult field to be merged with the decentralized system.
The fact that even ubisoft is looking partnership from the crypto developers or platforms to make it happen.

sad to hear that . why did they failed ? it could be that they lack of something or crypto/blockchain for gaming is too young yet and didnt gather alot of audience because gamers are usually milenials or teens and gamers were only hook on the same old games we have before and up until now .  but other blockchain/crypto projects are fine , like for example gambling . you mentioned ubisoft earlier , i know this gaming company  . it was known for good games ,and it would be a good chance for the blockchain/crypto gaming to be well known if companies like this takes place .

Gaming and blockchain can live together. This would be a great combination, because in games you always need to buy something and there is always own currencies, which you buy for fiat. In this case you would be able to buy cryptocurrencies for fiat and use it in game stores.

In case of The Bitcoin Bounty Hunt, it's probably not the game itself that runs on the Lightning network, but a LN wallet is included with the game. So that a LN transaction can happen when a player takes a crate or kills or is killed.

This will make video games even more exciting, having to play and entertain yourself and at the same time earn some tokens is a win-win situation. I think blockchain and video games are perfect combo where people can be introduced to crypto and at the same time tons of people can play games and interact with each other. Blockchain will slowly become mainstream where it will be used in multiple systems so let us just wait for that. I'll check that Bitcoin Bounty Hunt Game

I believe that it has something to say with the gaming industry since it even influences Sea Games. If we successfully implemented this to the game industry, we can expect mass adoption from it. I think this was a good step to start the adoption because a lot of people are intetested from it especially if they can earn coins that can convert into cash.

if the game was from the beginning and is not well known, then it will be difficult, it is better to connect with known game providers such as PUBG, ML, DOTA or other games that are already occupied by the game, you must just to promote their coins through the game and it will be made easier than to make your own game that no one has played before.

I still can't believe how much mobile gaming is making every single year. PC gaming was here for over 3 decades, closer to 4 decades nowadays, console gaming was always here and just changed shapes a bit with these generations, mobile gaming as in "mobile phone gaming" is something insane, I understand that it is fun and all but no mobile game could ever be as detailed as PC or console games, think of RDR2 for example, love the game or hate it but you can't deny that no mobile phone can ever have something like that. These companies made billions of dollars from just few pixels who crash each other and one dies while other survives, it makes no sense at all. Blockchain gaming could one day be a trillion dollar thing all I know, I wouldn't even remotely guess mobile gaming going so big which means I have limited understanding of what people like to play, so maybe blockchain gaming will be zero soon or 100 billion, I wouldn't really know at all.

For me it will be a great combination and idea as well to combine people's two major interest which is the gaming industry and the crypro industry which concerns the usage of blockchai technology. Combining those two interesting industries are really a great combination to be done since many people who engage into blockchain technology are somehow can be said to be glad on earning cryptocurrency in other way around which is a lot more fun and exciting because you are playing while earning which is hitting two birds with one stone. Gaming on blockchain is another option of ways to earn cryptocurrency for those who are not really that good in doing trades, investment and other common ways to earn crypto. Gaming on blockchain is a great fusion to think that you are entertaining yourself in a sense that you also want to earn cryptocurrency.

The main problem of gaming on the blockchain is a narrow circle of users. Most players find it easier and calmer to make money on pinnacle (mostly) to play it calmly)) And here are some nodes, raw applications that are always tedious. It is still time)

Edgeless has become a bad project. Its popularity being robbed by the new platforms that offer better features than edgeless. I would not like to call the gambling platform as a gaming platform. We need the real gaming that based on the blockchain. In this case, i meant about an attractive game just like some FPP, MMORPG game, etc.

I believe blockchain can be used in any industry or system, all that is needed is the right team. Although there have been many blockchain games but only a few are worth it as many lacks what it takes to keep the games running. On the other hand, considering blockchain is still growing I believe blockchain games can evolve with it but the question is, are the team behind those games ready to work hard to ensure their gaming platform lasts long term. So from all indications, it is not really a matter of blockchain itself it is a matter of the team putting in their best; in addition, blockchain is the future of many things it is just a matter of time.

The gaming industry on it own is fast growing and expanding. Hence, adopting blockchain technology into the gaming industry is a huge one. Most of these projects usually are successful. Sooner than later, we'd have major games integrated into blockchain. This will be blast.

If you know footballcoin but it's different from what you think. Its a platform where you will choose a set of players to form a team by selecting a card profile. You will not play in a soccer field like what we've been playing in computer games. You may try it if you want and see it for yourself. Do you also know dapp crypto game play-to-earn doesn't need an investment? Like something free-to-play where spending money is not needed?

It would be good if the ERC-20 that can earn in the game is listed on CMC and tradable in the global crypto market.

You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Nice article and I really like the blogging platform. It's a great platform and i recommend it, i've earned more from this platform in a month than i have earned on Steemit in a year. You can sign up to the platform on the link above.

Blockchain in games is usually a good project, many participate in participation because of what it offers. Never received a blockchain game, after the completion of the project it all seemed fine, but after it was announced what was obtained was not useful at all before until now

Crypto and gaming builds a natural synergy as the blockchain serves as a perfect medium to transfer digital goods of any kind. In particular, true ownership trade of ingame inventory is something revolutionary which the blockchain brings to the world of gaming.

As the founder of Age of Chains, I have been involved in this industry since 2016 and it is nice to see more and more people beginning to understand the benefits in combining blockchain and gaming.

Maybe Age of Chains (http://ageofchains.com) is a project you would like. It is an intergalactic crypto collectible trading card game with a focus on high-quality art and vision (https://www.ageofchains.com/age-of-chains-decentralizing-our-galaxy/) driven by a deep passion for decentralization.

It would be great to see you at our Bitcointalk-Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1692890.0)! :)

Stay safe!

i feel that Cryptokitties blew up and gave more attention than what is actually there. It is still very far away from being a tech that we use.

Thanks for sharing the blogging platform, I've signed up and i'm very impressed. I will be using it more and I can confirm that it works. You can earn BAT from it very easily for free.

I think it's good that blockchain is moving into this, but there is still a lot more than needs to be done, it's still in it's infancy.

Thanks for sharing the crypto blogging platform, I have signed up and started earning through it for free. I would highly recommend it to everyone. You can sign up for free through the article in this thread.

Blockchain has come a long way and ever since then have grown to be better and amazing. Actually, blockchain can be used anywhere but the challenges is, who are those that are willing to stick to their goals and objectives and make sure it comes to reality? The projects we see today are not encouraging thus in one way hampering the growth of the blockchain space. Nevertheless, blockchain in gaming industry is gaining more attention because gaming industry is one of the biggest industry so far thus blockchain disrupting it, is a good one. Lastly with an experienced team of developers many things are possible with blockchain.

Google the website Castle Crypto - you can find in-depth blockchain gaming reviews similar to how IGN does for regular type games. There is also a good running list of blockchain games there.

certainly very interesting, especially now games can make gamers get money from this technology, there are many gaming platforms that provide creativity like this, but many also make game projects only as an act of fraud, so be careful

I think that future is not in high FPS games on the blockchain because when game runs decentralized blockchains it has higher response time. But it could be really helpful for creating rare things like weapons skins on the blockchain and implement it into the game, like ERC 721 non fungible tokens.

It's a great development have worked for some gaming projects over the years although most of them still struggle to manifest but I believe it would be really nice having a full blockchain base gaming platform

If you follow the world trend considering this pandemics igaming with block chain technology is very necessary. So people globally can meet up and play games from their own comfort. Yes, I see it succeeding

actually there are many ways to get cryptocurency results because bounty hunters are not the only ones to get cryptocurency, but there are still so many other ways as you have mentioned above this thread. and various other ways such as games, faucets, etc ... but many people only focus on the bounty. even though they have the opportunity to get cryptocurency in other ways.

It's a large developing market and along with health can be one of the major factors in leveraging the prices of the projects involved in this market variation. We know that the current games are integrated systems of high intelligence and by adding the blockcahin mechanism, increases the internal and external gains of any game increasing the adhesion and profits of the big companies. I would love to see old games being integrated and updated on the blockchain.

The gaming industry is a very huge one which keeps growing with more amazing games being developed and played. However, there is no doubt that blockchain games will make it to the future but it will likely take time because there are already big platforms ruling the Industry which are already built and keeps upgrading. Blockchain games on the other hand are still in their infant stage and I haven't really seen or rather heard of any which is capable of beating those from other big platform. Therefore, my opinion is, we need more improvements on the ones already existing such that with time, it can compete with other platforms. Lastly, I believe blockchain is ready for the gaming industry but needs experienced team for its success.

I think gaming on the blockchain will be a next big use-case for blockchain lately I am been collecting some gaming items on Enjin and I am already seeing an increase in demands for in-game items. I played games like TheSixDragon and SpaceMisfits and I loving them already.

Microtransactions, rewarded game play, and optional ads are a natural combo. The game data does not need to be stored on the blockchain to benefit from the advantages of crypto.

I love the idea and joining lots of crypto games but there is a fine line, i like playing games on blockchain but partly not fully like every of my actions requires gas. That kind of games are clogging network and i hate paying too many gas for just playing the game.

in my opinion , Gaming on the blockchain comes with a lot of advantages  over the present traditional banking system ., one of those advantages is transparency , with the Decentralized feature of the blockhain playing games on the blockchain is made transparent , no one cheats because there is no third party . winners are selected without  cheating  and payment made when due .

I should remind you that there was no even a single gaming based blockchain platform has become major project. all of them have already exit scam project.
The decentralization will be playing a small role in the gaming platform. Blockchain chain needs more research to be able used in the gaming platform.

I do not lose hope that the blockchain/crypto gaming industry will also be given a lot of attention in the future. Many people like to play using their desktop or smartphone, if you also often hang out on social media platforms, you may notice that many are already making money just because of being a vlogger or streamer whose concept in gaming. Someone can do a major or big project in this industry, expect that. And when that happens, there will definitely be a lot to follow, especially game developers who will also enter the world of crypto and use blockchain technology to create an application that will be enjoyed by most enthusiasts.
