Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?

Why?

I gamble because I can... easy as that.

Because it's easy to make a depo on a casino and place some bets. But the dream of get a big hit is some motivation. Another important factor is that feeling when you get a win. That hype is what makes us do our next deposit in gambling sites.

I play because it is my hobby and I feel happy when playing especially when winning.
I see, my funds in gambling comes from a portion of my investment portfolio and will be turned to investment if I win.
Because I don't see donating it will further help, I better like to encourage everyone to earn in crypto and gambling than to give money.

Gambling had been part of our culture, one of the best ways to kill time, socialize and earn money all in one hobby. That is why it is very popular. Each gambler has their own reason why they gamble, I gamble for fun and to socialize with my friends. I sometimes spend my weekend night at my friend's house where we drink and play casual poker. It is a great stress reliever.

Better not encourage others in gambling or else they see it as a quick money while what happened to you might not happen to others, just my opinion though.

I just gamble simply for fun and small winnings is actually feels like I won the jackpot. Somehow, the money I'm using is just spare and not more like not obligatory to allot specific amount.

I learned how to gamble not because I wanted to earn money but it was more of entertainment with my cousins, and to pass the time while enjoying the game. So maybe, that is the reason why I haven't been addicted in gambling because I don't have the ambition to hit it big via gambling. I only gamble to enjoy myself and have fun for the time being. But if you talk about the lottery gambling, of course, everyone wants to hit something but I'm not also an ardent lottery player.

Mostly for entertainment. I already donate money towards charities and participate at community events and do volunteer work regularly, and I find gambling to be a fun activity in moderation along with playing video games and other things that I do for a hobby too. I mostly play games like crash and I don't usually gamble a large sum of money, though I'd enjoy hitting a big win as much as anyone else.

I am curious about the game for the first time I gamble, especially in the lottery and dice games. But I also invest that money to many coins, including investing in bitcoin because I don't want to use that money for playing gambling. I also donate some money to charities each month because I want to share what I got from crypto to other people who needed it.

When playing gambling, sometimes I feel bored, and if that happens, I will not gamble for some time because that will makes my mood cannot enjoy the games. Sometimes I play without search for anything, and I only play when I want to play, leave the places when I want to stop. I don't chase the big score because that will be too difficult for me. I feel it's better to playing gambling games and try to enjoy the game.e

It aint a paasion nor a way to earn quick buck for me. Its just that, its there, it exists, and I can play it, so why not right? It's not really about the benefits obtained or losses felt from it. Plus, even if gambling sites asked for outrageous deposits, as long as I can handle it well enough without it affecting the finances I use for my everyday life, I'd push for it. Life is boring when you won't even take a step that you can afford to lose.

Why do you gamble?

Partly because of the fun and the possibility of making money out of it. There are also games I play in times when it seems I have nothing else to do.

I don't invest everything. I also burn a few for the sake of having fun.

I don't donate everything. I also burn a few for the sake of having fun.

To be honest, I only gamble the money I can afford to lose safe as that and secondly it's more of spending my free time when I stumble upon a gambling site and just to try out the games also if ever it's unique for me.

Gambling is kind of investment as well, it's just fast and too risky either you win or lose instantly in a seconds, minutes or hours.

If ever I feel I would then I'll donate it but I guess when you're just want to gamble and that marks on your mind this kind of thing just disappear to be honest. Somehow that's what I thought especially if there's a contest going on, who do not want to win especially if it's for free or even it isn't if there's an irresistible prize to be given, sure we do.

Real reasons why I do gamble? It is simple because I want, because I have the money for it, because I like it. Entertainment and money are part of gambling that we cant deny about, so any gamblers must be looking for the possibility to make money while they are entertaining themselves at the same time. We cant deny that 90% or even more people are gambling to make money as it is the fastest way to make money (in case we are lucky) but I will not consider it as a way to make money because there is a high risk of losing money.


I'm sure everyone has their own budget for different things. In this case, I gamble but I also invest my money on some different cryptos as well as gold.
Also about donating, I'm very rare to donate money to charity but if there is a chance then I'll do it with my extra money out of my gambling budget.

I guess gambling is an investment that has the highest level of risks. Infact, gamblers maybe considered as "real" investors, because they know what they can afford to lose.
Anyway, there's no better answer to this question than "because we know the level of risks and reward, and more importantly we can manage our losses (except those desperate/excessive gamblers) while having fun. "

Its fun, and compared to investing, id rather spend some on gambling instead. Call me selfish and all that but it is my money, I decide where i spend it. And besides, you cant even go to gambling to get a big score, you wait for it to come to you instead. Gambling aint about skill, its about luck.

One reason is to have fun when I'm bored, stressed, and tired. Second reason is because I'm also hoping that my capital will increase when I gamble. Majority say we gamble for fun. This is completely a false statement, because if there is no reward for the risk we take it shouldn't have gained such a popularity. People always want things to be achieved with ease and in short term. When we look on these factors, it is possible only through gambling. This is the prime reason to go for gambling without giving priority to investment.

Myself have gambled and lost big, once after losing my mind has thought several times I should've at least donated it to someone who is in need. This is most gamblers common mind.

Being bored has made me gamble, but the same hasn't caused addiction I just spend on sports betting. When things went out of my control I started to run to get back the loss which is where I lost everything.

This isn't pure entertainment, we can get entertained when we succeed but continued loss leads to frustration and stress. This way gambling isn't a fun zone or an entertainment platform.

People gamble because that want to and they can. Some see it as a quick investment which like every other venture can fail or give ROI, the risks are high when gambling, but it is so in any other investment.
As to why people do not donate instead, what one does with his money is their prerogative as long as it is within the ambits of the law.

Gambling is ok a good form and way to have some fun but the risk is always there.

I do gamble for fun or entertainment only and nothing more. Whenever I have extra time or if I have extra money I play gambling.

Most of the people play gambling whenever they get bored and most of leisure time are spend in playing gambling. Gambling is a good example of entertainment but sometime it end up on addicting like you play too much and you spend too much money and the result you will lose a lot of money. People plays gambling because they want to earn money in an instant way so that they don't need to put any extra effort to earn money.

I got introduced to fiat gambling few years back & continued to play it for the love of the game, the adrenaline and the strategies involved init. Eventually , it became a source to earn some side money to support my desires. ALl I can say , the real reason for me to continue with gambling was the money & adrenaline associated with it .

The real reason why I invest my time in gambling is that I want to win the jackpot and may the luck with me. For it nothing we can't deny that not just to say for entertainment, for pleasure but it is all about winning. That is why people keep asking the best strategy of winning in gambling( poker, dice and etc...) Taking that amount is somewhat pushing us to play and gamble our time with for this sake.

Gamble, something that i do when i want. Actually sometime i have no reason why i play gambling because it is just very small money, especially in dice we can play with very small amount of money if want to look more fun. For many of use here it's simply because of the hope of having a bigger win. That's fortunate of you, since most gamblers become addicted when they don't have a job to spend their time. I also do bounty hunting before but I do not spend too much in gambling even if I received lots of money from it since I have to spend it in the needs of my family.

I gamble only for entertainment when I'm bored, and don't use money from hard work.  but money from trading and even then I use for gambling is only a portion of money.  because of the importance of entertainment when we are bored.

For the first time I heard about gambling I just curious how it works because many people are rich now because just playing games and cards, then I found out that it was true that gambling is just a game with full of fun, but they play with a thrill only using money as a wage. When I already play I card game in a gambling house, I already won because I mastered the card game; after that day, I won for over 50 dollars, and that was profitable, and at the same time, it was entertaining with risk. That money gives to my parents too as a help to my family to spend on our daily expenses. On the next day, I play again, but the luck is not with me, then I lose just over 10 dollars not quite bad than risking all of my earnings in just a game. Still, I enjoy the game.

I think money is important because he has priorities that must be filled first. It's a good thing that he already quit gamble 'cause we don't have an assurance that we'll always win in gambling. For me, gambling is just entertainment and I think that's the only reason you can say if you wanted to gamble. That is common to everyone. Knowing that we've won already several times, it also encourages us to make some more bets again but we've never realized that we've been fall into addiction. actually what makes us happy in gambling is we can win it, I don't believe people have fun if they lose a lot of money from gambling, but of course, it all depends on where you get money to gamble because this is the point. Till the time you gamble to double your money with your extra spare money it is totally fine as even if you lose out you are still able to manage your daily stuff. But ensure you do not get away so much that you cannot live without gambling in future.

Totally at first I playing gambling for enjoyment and entertainment and of course also hoping to double my money and become rich with the use of gambling but that's not what happened because it becomes opposite, I become addicted without realizing and the worst I lose too much money and face so many regrets.

Basically it is quite impossible not to live with gambling if you already get used to play every day or in a regular basis. Gambling provides too much satisfaction especially when winning, so if you plan living on taking out gambling, you will not have extra money from winnings thus, you will feel incomplete as your daily routine will not be followed.

Yea, using gambling to double your money is not easy and more like a double edge sword. It's risk is way too far to handle. You will only end up in the wrong direction in life.
But there are really some people who do this, I don't know how they can take the risk, butin the end, they do not achieve their goal. They end up losing their money because of greediness. After achieving to double their money, they still continue and expect more winnings.

With these people, the main problem is no limitation. They don't put any bounds to the amount of money and time. Both are very important assets. I've played gambling before with my friends, they've introduced me to it because it is fun, they've said. I've played way back 2017 and at first, yeah, you could say it fun when you only gamble few amounts of your money because you feel it won't hurt you since you are earning well, but it hurts me a lot when the year 2018 came, I've had a lot of regrets where I think that if I didn't gamble my money way back then, I could have more money in my wallet and would not starve myself.

Well, this is all gamblers want to have. In every bet or in gambling hoping just to be a win and of course the next option is to have entertainment at the same time. Because sometimes gamblers do gambling just want to relax or those sometimes get bored or even when they are alone. Chasing money in gambling is not a good practice and that is a part of greediness. looking for entertainment is my main reason and the second reason is profit..  gambling is very entertaining but it would be even more entertaining if we won gambling.  I've seen people who lose gambling become depressed and crazy, so some people still make "profit" is the main reason they gamble.

I'll say that 90% would always comes after with profit and next would be the enjoyment.Its impossible for someone not to react nor

I don't think entertainment is the priority need of majority of the gamblers, and this is completely a wrong statement. There are lot many other sources that keep us entertained for the same spending we do with gambling. The profit which is reason we go for gambling as an entertainment than other sources. So, people for a talk term they gamble for fun and entertainment which is 99% a lie.

They'll possibly be crazy cause they will think that gambling could easily get money which is really in the big opposite of their thinking.
Well, it has to say that there is no problem with that considering PROFIT as the mean reason but they also think that it needs to work for it and never think that gambling is really profitable which we could expect winning all the time cause its gonna be a 50/50 percent of chances we have.

Money. Money makes the people to work, live, entertain, and also to gamble. If it is not because of the money/profit then it is for the experience of having fun.

Aside from having fun and killing time, when I started posting in this forum, I also started to like checking new gambling sites and give review and feedback and post here. I used to have a blog and post my review there but I am more busy now with my day job.

Investing and gambling are very different in my opinion. I prefer to bet because I can control everything, compared to investing that has more risk to lose. And don't know yet whether the investment can be profitable or not.

I choose to gamble because i seek for happiness and to relieve myself from stress. I do want to have fun and if I’m lucky, I’ll make money too. This is the real reasons and I don’t gamble for money as a whole, i do have my different objectives while playing. I was once a greedy gambler but since I lose money before, i started to change my mind and think better.

It can be much entertaining when we are winning that’s indeed but it becomes more risky if we don’t give ourself limitations because the winning is the roots of being greed as we have already know about the beginners luck that the game we are enjoying bringing us profit but in the end will give us poor gambling habit and losses is the next.

Basically we cannot really set the gambling as a way of living. No one wants to put their trust to 50/50 chance of gaining money to support their family and life. For me, gambling is when I just have a spare money and I don't know where to spend that money into. That is the best time to consider gambling your money. My main reason when doing gamble is for fun and entertainment. Part of it is also to win the game which is exciting on me. The real reason why i gamble for my leisure time and entertainment because i am always busy at my work and i also do a lot of things when i go to work like chores and helping my family about other important stuffs, that is why i also need to have time for myself to have some fun and entertainment that's all. I beg to differ from your school of thought, not everyone gamble because there's a reward for themselves. I have seen and heard of charity event were profits won from gambling aren't been reward to those that gambled but been redirected for the charity activity yet there were still volunteers in their numbers risking their funds to play the games.

Many of those volunteer came to catch fun while others meant have seen this as an opportunity to perfect their different gambling strategy.

I think it's actually trying luck too, we consider it as entertainment but on the other hand, we expect victory. Your salary looks big so you have excess money to gamble, but to be honest it's very unfortunate to play gambling from salary money.

That reason will be acceptable if you don't use much money and not using a long time for a gamble. But if you play gambling for a long time, then that is not trying luck because you expect the luck to comes to your side. But for the first time, I think people are trying luck, but then they forget that luck will not come to you if you are not the right person. So if you want to test your luck, you can play for about 5-10 times and don't use big money to gamble. After that, you should stop and leave the gambling places.

Agree with you. Honestly i laughing when read your post, at first some maybe people play gambling to test their luck. Gambling will not be become or same like investment no matter how lomg and how you treated it. Gambling and investment are 2 different things. In gambling you don't invest anything, if you win, it's your luck, if you lose, it's your luck too.

I guess you are in the top list of those people who hate to store the humanity, and please don't say that it is not good to help others, cause it's beyond good. However, it provided me a lot of unwinding times that actually take those stressful days begone. Although I lost most of the time, it just depends on how I managed my money over it.

I agree with you, but since I too gamble a few times in the week I can tell you that when you are gambling (specially dice) you just feel like lost because results/rolls are happening in the blink of an eye and I am a very controlled gambler in general but even when I am winning, I make mistakes like making a bigger bet in between. Similarly, when I am losing say I lost 0.0004 BTC then I start feeling like I can make a 0.004 BTC bet on 90% win chance and easily gain back my initial loss of 0.0004 BTC

There is no real reason why I do gamble but it must be said, once I start I feel lost at times.

I like to gamble because of my daily hobbies, and I also have to make sure the profits can also be donated to charity. So my pleasure is also not for myself. That's why it is often said the bigger bankroll will eat up the smaller one because the smaller one will get more and more greedy as it wins and the larger bankroll will not be disturbed much with the small wins. Once the small bankroll guy wins our of fuel (I mean BTC) it will lose.

You make 10 bets a day or 1000 bets a day it means the same because let me explain, suppose you make 10 bets in a day then you will end up making 1000 bets in say 3 months .. that doesn't mean you will be winning if you make less bets per day. Yup, we are experiencing that greed, and I guess many of us are aware of the danger of greed. I think it is okay if the reason is for entertainment and the excitement because some people want to feel the tension in the gambling and how good their luck in gambling. I would say "LUCK". I'm so fed up with such generic replies like this. Look, gambling is all about the money. I dont have any idea which essence were you talking about, and yeah gambling is fun but it always involves money.

Basically telling this kind of things is actually necessary, why? because if you let people know you are donating money, they will recognize the platform where your are donating, as a result, if they become attracted to the charity then they might as well donate some of their funds to the growth of the charity, making more donations useful to help many people around the world.

Many gamblers would say that, but some of them are attracting too deep in gambling, so they don't test their luck because they already know that their luck does not work well in gambling. But some of them decide to continue gamble because of they curious why they cannot win a single round. That makes them become addicting, and in the end, they are difficult to leave gambling because they already get into deep of gambling for a long time.

I think it is not because of their curiosity. It is more on their eagerness to win. If a certain gambler already know that he does not have the luck to win, but still wanted to play for the same reason, I think it is not about curiosity but more on how they really wanted to win. I seldom gamble and when I gamble, I usually use a small amount of money because I have a mindset when it comes to gambling that I will lose in the end so to prevent losing too much money I gamble a small amount only. My reason to gamble?? Profit is my primary and the second one is having more excitement while watching sports events.

I know also that part but it's my attitude not to be vocal of certain help that I do for the people that I want to. I just let the other people do that thing so that they will become an inspiration to others but the important thing for me, I have my initiative.

5. Sometimes we are craving of a win so we want to try gambling again.

Personally, before I used to play gambling because I want to earn profit in the easiest way as possible, however, it never turns out to what I expected that is why I stop using gambling as a source of income. I realize that whatever strategy I made just to win it all doesn't work, there are times it did work but as the gameplay goes on I run out of luck and lose it all. Hence, I learned from that mistake and use it to entertain my self and not expect to get any profit.

Although there is money to be made from gambling, your chances here are very slim compare, compare if you are going to invest, I only gamble for fun, when I realized in my early days of gambling that I'm not very lucky when it comes to gambling so it came to a point that I will just bet for entertainment because I do not treat it that way I can lose everything, gamble should realize this. 

Oh, yes, you are right. The eagerness to win can be one of many things that makes people comes again and again in gambling. Perhaps curiosity and eagerness to win will be on their minds because they are not winning in gambling after they played the games for some time. That will attract their passion for playing more and more, but the result will be the same if the luck does not come to them. If they can control their minds and they have another thing to do, they will not come to gambling places more often so they can prevent from losing the money.

Same here. I don't treat gambling as a form of investment. But this may be the line of thinking of so many gamblers. They always make sure that they have a money to be spent on gambling because it might earn a return afterwards. That is of course the wrong approach in gambling. I am happy when I gamble and happier when I win. That is how I treat it. The winning is just a bonus of some sort.

I don’t think that gambling makes our character bad as we are gambling to earn money and there is nothing bad in it. In my family some people don’t like gambling but they should not hate a gambler. I gamble and it makes me happy so it will be my choice either I gamble or not. Gambling gives me earning and also helps me to live happy enjoyable time.

Sometimes I am confused to know about why they still playing gambling with the small chance to win. But then I realize that they don't mind to know how big their percentage to win because they can have fun in gambling, they can play in any gambling games, and perhaps, they can win the winning money. Humans are so damn greedy and that is the more reason why a lot of people are getting addicted to gambling. That's supposed to be the right mindsets if you are not really into deeper engagement with this activities. Person who are occasionally gamble and only
take this for social life and having some fun with friends or relatives can stay happy. It's different story though if the engagement been done for the sake of earning money, the chances of getting addicted is very high.

The only solution to solve that problem is time management. It doesn't matter how much money you are betting as long as you can control it, mainly because of time management since if you know how long you would just play, you will not be eager to spend too much when you lost. You have your time as your basis of your game not the situation that you are currently have, so for you to avoid being addicted, manage your time.

Not all type of gambling requires a lot of time, just like for example in sports betting, you can bet 1,000 usd in a certain game and just come back check the score after the game is over, and if you choose to watch the game live on TV, it only consume like less than 3 hours, but if you don't control the amount you bet like in this example, we are talking of 1000 usd, if you can't afford that then that would give you a problem when you lose.

Not all of those gamblers can be addicted to gambling, I knew a lot of people like that. They want to gamble, not just to test their luck but to have fun and hope that they can win but they are not that addicted or desperate to go back. We can do other divertion of stress aside from gambling, that doesn't involve money. You can go on vacation with nice places and do some extreme sports if you like. But maybe the percentage of the bet is not too high because as long as we can analyze in trading, we know what we need to do, and is not blind trading. My parents raised me as someone that should never hold or have anything about gambling. Though I learned to gamble our of curiosity, I am not that addicted to it since I know that consequence that I will go through if I get addicted to it. The main reasons why we gamble is because someone influenced us to play, also, if we noticed a fair system that will utilize our money easily, why not to try it. For me, I just see the ads of some games and I get so curious to the game that's why I try to play it even with a small amount of money.

Nice to see that people are using gambling just for fun but to be honest I am using gaming to make money and to become rich.  But try to keep limit in gambling as people mostly say that gambling pills you towards addictions and it’s not good to get addicted to gambling but there are chances to get rich and make money with limited investments

Gambling for money or to make profit is fine especially if you keep on your own limit so it wont bring you to the bad effect of gambling. Aside from addiction, gambling may bring you into very bad economical situation if you lose more than you can afford to lose so it is indeed great if you stay on your own limit anytime you do gambling.

Well way back, I'm still playing gambling at. First, my impression is that it is bad because you will only waste money and it can lead to more vise that a person should never use to but after it was introduced by my friend the gambling using crypto means it is an online casino and accept crypto payment, well I do it to entertain myself as well to have bonding with my friends and when I'm bored, so it becomes one of my past time but later on my parents discover and get mad at me so right now I often play gambling not always when I'm bored and when invited by my friends and of course if I have a money that I can afford to lose.

It depends on the gambler. If they can accept defeat if they loss in gambling then they will not be stressed on it. If they see gambling as a stress reliever then they must know how to accept defeat if they lose and they know when to stop if they are winning.

i like the thoughts that some are pretending to be having fun and lessen their stress while in gambling but the truth is they are not and instead they are gathering too many stressful days and finances because of their involvement in this games.

Gambling can give you enjoy because if a person stress when they play gambling they become happy also if the lost is very little you can accept that easily. When Im sad or stress too I play gambling because this is one of my stress reliever too and sometimes I lost but after that Im happy because my stress gone even I lose money but only little.  Depends on the person if they want to play gambling for the stress reliever but make sure you have still control your money in betting on it.

In theory, sounds perfect but the reality is far from the theories on paper. The situation is not the same for all types of gamblers depending on personal wealth. The rich guys can throw away my 5-year salary in the single-game session and I am sure they will have a full of enjoyment without worrying about the money. They just seek fun out of gambling .Gamblers have different reasons for gambling .But one thing that must be taken into account is that those who often start it as a fun activity fall victim to the greed of money sooner or later. Gambling? Mostly I don't gamble. Gambling is more of a bet for me. I am constantly betting on football. But I do it for fun rather than making money. I especially like to bet on the matches I can watch. Thus, the match I watched is twice as meaningful to me. For example, I watched Aston Villa - Man City match in excitement this evening. The match was very enjoyable before Aston Villa scored.

If they just play for fun then at least when they get the win, they are willing to spend the money from the winnings for something that can be enjoyed together like eating or other things that will ultimately make everyone feel enjoy after betting. That's what I usually do when I'm just gambling for fun. But in fact some of my friends did not do that, while at the same time I asked things like "what are you gambling for" then he answered "just for fun" but he didn't show me something I said earlier.

If this could be the case then gambling after our tiring work will further make us tired or even frustrated if ever the funds we allot to playing was lost, in such a case that it is huge and should be intended for buying necessities, so for me, the opposite will do, which is to gamble after celebration or an event which will definitely add pressure to my mind, instead, if I lose, I could accept it because in the first place, I am already happy before playing.

The scenario 3 will most likely to happen in my opinion. People will be stressed when they go to work and will feel more stress when they gamble after work. If you really want to gamble then use a small amount and be disciplined enough.

That is true every player in gambling have reason why they are gamble. Some they only want fun and enjoyment in there life. Some are want to win a big money because of some reasons. So i think 2 personality in gambling one is only gamble for fun and the other is all about money. Gambling have risk no assurance if you gonna win or not and gambling need lucky for you to win.

I don't have any hopes in myself when it comes to gambling, I've tried it a couple of times before and the result is just the same, but I agree that you have to play with proper aim, however, you can't blame other people about their purpose in gambling, we have our own choices in life. My only opinion about you being an expert gambling by your proper aim (or should I call your goal) won't be easy, your resolve must be tough because your losses in gambling could take it away if it is as soft as your pillow.

We're playing because we desire to win some money, but the most important thing once we're playing is to be wise once we win we can stop playing and return tomorrow. Also, maybe if something is going on well that day people might feel more enticed to gamble as they would believe that they have higher chances to win even though that is completely false. It's all literally just in peoples heads. The fake beliefs and fake hopes.

Although you have a passion for winning some money, you must realize that in gambling, you will not have a big chance to win that money. I think only with act wise that will help us from the loss of the money. I don't see the real essence why we gamble herein the first place, because gambling for a reason should be deep and will be good if we win, so contradicting to the idea of yours, there is a big chance of winning big in gambling and that could be achieved through betting unsual amount of fund and if the systems tells us to win, then we can claim the profit without ease. The reason why people could tell that gambling isn't really worthy of winning is because, they mostly bet small amount of fund, not considering the capability of it to have 50/50 percent chance. In short, they are afraid to bet huge.

Technically all gamblers want to earn money and only that's the reason why people want to gamble but lose and profit both can happen. So if you are earning from gambling you would feel proud and lucky so you gamble with more money. From my real life experience that is almost impossible.If I win I don’t like to stop,what I do is I save a few of the winnings like 15% of them and the other 85% I distribute between slot machines about 50% and 35% I play in sport betting.I play most of the winnings in slots hoping to hit some jackpot or high winnings through different bonus rounds.

Yeah, most of the gamblers are desiring to win some good money from gambling, so they are willing to risk their money to win big which it's sometimes too risky depends on what they're gambling in it. Well, we can infer what their deepest intention could be if we try to look into their financial stature. That being said, I don't mean to be offensive. But nonetheless, through my observations on people who gamble. Most people who fall within or below average income tend to resort to gambling because they wanted more money. They are tired from their nine to five jobs and turn to gambling after since it's not only convenient, it also gives them the rush they needed unlike their common workplace which basically felt like a chore after years of working. For people who fall above average income, they still gamble for money. But they are primarily in there because of the thrill. The rush is what makes them come back and continuously play, even if it's a losing streak to them.

These are just my observation. This may or may not be what really is happening, but it provides a useful insight nonetheless regarding people's intentions towards gambling.

It is really a joke to be in gambling just for fun. Gambling couldn't be just a pleasure especially when you always suffered losses every time you gamble.

You can only go bankrupt from gambling if you bet more than you can afford, and that is definitely not what you should be doing.

If you can't afford to bet a certain, then simply bet less. If you could ever find yourself in a position where you have absolutely no money because you've been gambling too much, then that sounds like a problem.

I'm a gambler more than few years from now and the main or primary reason why Im playing is because I hope I won money.
My money are seperated in gambling and investing so money for investing is secure because I use money that is really not need.
I think donating money is good but if you have personal needs you need to take yourself before others.

People gamble because, gambling gives off thrill and entertainment. Gambling is like investing and trading, you do know what is at stake but, you have no knowledge on what might be the result of it. The difference is, gambling is more thrilling and exciting, faster to win or lose unlike investments. Much greater risk because, you couldn't analyze any charts to come up with something of your choice, it is pure probability and luck. If I would be gambling, the reason would be for a bigger profit. Big risk, big earnings.

I was thinking deep after I read your post. If all the money that I lost in gambling were being invested to crypto currencies, I am pretty sure that I am earning a huge profit by now.

But with all the mistakes that I made. I have no hard feelings to it because the main reason why I gamble is for past time only and I only gamble my extra money. That is why, I was not addicted to gambling. At first, I started gambling to NBA winners then poker comes next and I am not so sure if there will be more to come but if I will be bored again to these two, there is a big chance that I will look for another type of gambling.

Like what you have said, it varies per person on what they see and feel towards gambling. Some people who are financially struggling tend to look gambling as an avenue of gaining them quick profits, while people who are financially secured see this as a form of entertainment. Regardless, gambling will always be something that people would spend their time and find meaning to it.

It varies among people of course but their main goal is probably to win. We humans want something that has a chance of giving us larger returns that is why gambling was still there. This psychological factor makes us to bet even more specially when we experience to win. That feeling satisfies us.

I agree with you on every line you said. People just say it's an expensive entertainment but who the heck actually gets entertained when they lose money? Even a billionaire losing $1 would be sad for the loss. It is mainly because of the desire of being rich someday that's why I entered gambling. Though my desire is high to get all the wealth I could possibly recieve, I do not get myself involved in gambling too often. I only risk on gambles whenever I have excess income from my investments which I think can be considered as self control. If I would be too greedy and crave too much for money, there's only two things that may happen to me in gambling, I can either reach what I am aiming for or end up in lots of casualties which will eventually make me broke.

I do gambling because, it is a way for me to earn some profits. I want also to experience to earn some money in gambling platform. When I'm still gambling, I often gamble on sports betting and I usually bet on some teams just to have some excitement while I'm watching. Unfortunately, most of the time I lost my money so the ending is that I don't finish what I'm watching because I know that I lost my bet.

I don't gamble on casino because there are no near casinos here but if there are some gamblers here who are gambling on casino, probably their main reason why they are gambling is because of profits. I don't want to invest too much money on gambling as I have other priorities in life.

It's a good way to socialize with the your friends and family as long as you know how to control and you are just aiming to have some fun then it's really a good killer of boredom. I think most people here gambles to have fun and to earn money as well. Mostly the reason was for fun but deep inside they will be trying their luck to win big amount of money for living. That is not bad reason since i do have a friend that is doing gambling for a living which i am really amazed. I agree with you. As much as I am having fun that’s why I keep staying to gamble from time to time, what makes it more enticing for me are the winning moments. But, as time went on, I realised that I was making a wrong decision by depending on gambling as a source of income. And it might lead to me getting addicted to it. So, I changed my perspective about gambling, and now plays it mainly for fun. However, when ever I lose now, I just laughed. Gambling to make money is very bad, and can result to you been a debtor.

Sometimes this is purely entertainment and for someone who does not have a gambling problem or addiction, playing chance gambling can be fun.
however, gambling with money or capital that you can't afford to lose, or gambling excessively, can destroy your life and become easily discouraged and lose everything.

For those who have an addictive personality, you should avoid gambling because it is dangerous because they will most likely become addicts.

Personally I gamble almost entirely for entertainment purposes. Some of that gambling is with games such as poker or roulette which I really enjoy regardless of money.  When betting however, in regard to games like poker, when money is on the table it simply makes it more competitive, more interesting, and often will force people to take the game more seriously. It’s fun! I bet sports for the same reason, it makes things more interesting. When gambling I always plan to lose whatever I bet, if I win even better !

Good for those people who do really play for entertainment but not all would really be ending up on having a good control because sooner or later it would really become on having that intent
on where you would really be losing up your patience which would really becomes stressful later no.

This do talks about true intentions which wouldnt waver nor change as time flies by but somehow this wont really be easy to control because people do really
differs in terms of self control.

Gamble for entertainment and dont go after for profits or money making because this wasnt created for that purpose.

The only gambling I do is on the lottery, which has such poor chances but such a high payout it at least lets me dream of the possibilities for a few nights each month. It's really low cost and the trade off of getting the hope that you might wake up to a life altering amount of money is enough to fulfill my gambling needs. I'm not too interesting in placing small bets with the potential to convert $10 into $20 or even $100 - because the risk to reward is simply too low. By placing money on a lottery at a relatively low price, it meets that small urge to place a little bet occasionally and keeps it very manageable - other than that my money definitely does go into stock market investments and funds.

Gambler for entertainment but i do have really a bad history of losses.
Why not donate? Its not my thing or would rather take advantage of the money you do have.
Me bored? Most of the time and gambling is one of the things that wipes it away.
Looking for entertainment? Yes i do but it s frustrating as you do longer plays.
Winning is something we do aim fore but its not always been like that.
