In recent time cryptocurrency is not in a good shape. Many peoples are losing their money because of fraud but bitcoin is in a good shape and I hope in the year of 2020 bitcoin price will rise more.So it is the high time to invest bitcoin.

I'm curious why did you consider Bitcoin in a good shape? Considering year-to-date maybe yes, as BTC starts the year from $4Kish to $7K now, about ~100% rise. But in between those, BTC hits $14K for a while and then dumps back to $7K lol. Is that a good shape?

My expectation for 2020 is Bitcoin keeps ranging from $6K to $16K, not making any new high before a year after halving. This is usually what happens during halving, the big moves aren't happening exactly after the halving, but a year or two after.

Indeed, bitcoin is rumored to be improving in 2020 because halving will happen no matter what will happen in 2020 I am ready to hold bitcoin from now on, because I believe that bitcoin is able to grow well, I think in 2020 it will reach $ 15,000.

Everything depends on BTC's situation. We are expecting a good bull season for BTC because of halving. If it will happen, then we can see good alt season. Otherwise, we are going to continue suffering.

Bitcoin did so well this year, remember it started the year @ 3500k? all the way down to 8k if you bought at 3,500k its a huge gain already, what makes this year bad is altcoin, i think we have too many altcoin investors compare to bitcoin

yes I heard more than once this fact and maybe it's true 1 to 2 years we will see an increase in bitcoin after halving, I don't expect more in 2020 other than being able to maintain prices above 6k

If we see lately, market conditions are arguably not very friendly because many people have lost their money or arguably many people have failed in their investments. And if seen it is indeed better to play it safe or arguably better to invest into bitcoin compared to other coins, but this does not rule out the possibility that other coins are bad.

If all people will buy BITCOIN than who will buy other altcoins, so I think it's a good time to buy any altcoins that have worth in the market and future perspective. Bitcoin is a good investment buy everyone can't buy due to high price as compared to other altcoins is low investment, you can buy ETH, XRP and other altcoins also and I hope the year 2020 will be a wonderful year for crypto.

BTC at the moment is probably good for those who intend to invest in it, and not for those who bought at a higher price. On the other hand, BTC is currently twice the price of exactly one year ago, and the bitcoin halving event next year will be a positive event to help BTC rise again.

I personally won say it' gonna be good year for crypto just because it' 2020 (what a great number lol), but i'll be gladly predict it's gonna be a good year for BTC & crypto market in general.

Why i'm so optimistic about it?
Well, simply because of the next BTC Halving date (May 14 - 16_2020) & that means it's going to be harder to get BTC the mining way & it' gonna take more time till the next halving date (probably more than 5-10 years from May 2020).

I'm o optimistic about it because (IMO) we're gonna see a new ATH for BTC, crypto boom but it will be lowly & may take more weeks(probably even months) that the last December 2017 & first January 2018 Bull run.

BTC price as you see right now may dip even further before we start booming again, it's the normal whale games in here, crashing the prices, spread the FU, but those cheap BTC from weak hands to eel them again at x2 or x3 prices compared to what they bought for.

Not really on a good shape buy the whole market is really down and we are still on the sideways. Despite on the trend, stay positive and believe that the sun will rise again, bitcoin and altcoins market will rise. I know some are still disappointed on the market, but try to think for long term profit and stop thinking for an easy money, crypto is still great.

This post seems a bit vague with the statement about Bitcoin being in good shape. I personally don't think Bitcoin is in good shape at the moment, but to be optimistic regarding your stance, Bitcoin seems to be hanging in their! The market prices seem to have stagnated, as Bitcoin is unable to break the $10,000 threshold. If it were to break, that would make me happy. I really think that we could use a good bull run right about now!

What you say is true that now is the right time to invest in bitcoin especially now that prices are low.
I will not respond to any FUD that could affect prices. I will wait until halving occurs after that, seeing prices grow like 2017 many experts say 2020-2021 will be the year of bitcoin because with such a good increase, according to an expert analysis.

Good condition? The truth is probably at this time even people suffer losses because of the possible number of predictions, there said bitcoin will rise in October yesterday but even down.
So everyone's expectation is exactly the same IE BTC back to the rate of 15k $ only to start  ;D

We might think it is a better time to invest in bitcoin. Many users here expect that the year 2020 will be the time to bounce back the bitcoin as well as the altcoins in which will able to pursue the unfipnish project way back 2017. If that will happen many investors will be back and those users that will continue to be part here especially those new ones here digital world.

I still don't get it, from where you can say bitcoin will rise again in 2020. Expectations is good but you need to analyze that news is really bad about bitcoin this year, of course negative impact will run in 2020. Already Use MACD and I should say bitcoin will stagnant in $5k - $8k, that's not an option for trade/ invest. Think again before too late and good luck for you.

We might expect a huge difference by next year and thr market could rise up or go down more depend on the faith of bitcoin after the halving because it might go down and bounce back after a couple of months and this already happening before so we might expect it will be the same situation.

I think this is still the initial stage of Bitcoin, there are still many countries that prohibit the use of crypto but some countries are also slowly accepting crypto. I am sure one day all countries will accept the use of cyrptocurrency, and it will be a triumph for Bitcoin.

The crypto market in general isn't in a good shape and although many people are losing their money there are still some who are gaining and some who aren't affected, that is those whose funds are in stablecoins. But however, considering the value of Bitcoin as well as the news of halving, I think Bitcoin will bring more value come next year than other coins. I think bitcoin going down before the new year is a good sign for us. 2020 should be doing a lot better than 2019, the year 2019 started horribly at around 3.5 thousand dollars and peaked almost at 14 thousand dollars, of course there was a big fall (only like half and not even that) but that is due to people taking out their profits, if we end up with slowly increasing prices on top of this (which is double of $3.5k of last years) we may even challenge the ATH prices.

No expectations from this side. All the expectations on cryptocurrency died in the 2017 bull run. Since then, what we see in failed expectations and predictions. 2020 will come and the luck of massive bull may appear or not. It will be a matter of luck or doom to some people.

Those fraud you said is specifically meant for bitcoin or crypto? To tell you, fraud isn't only happening in this sphere, there's a lot of frauds that happen in every financial related establishment just like in the banks. Thousands of reported frauds do happen everywhere, starting with the credit cards so it's not exclusive to crypto. As for 2020, yes it's going to be the possible skyrocketing of bitcoin but don't assume highly because it has to recover well way back to $15,000 and so on.

I do not want to make price predictions but I know for sure that the popularization of cryptocurrency in 2020 will be much higher than 2019. You are right, the BTC price curve formed from early 2019 to September (which is shown below) shows a pretty good shape. The price increase continues even though it is quite slow and there are many decreases repeatedly in between. But overall showed good progress.

For 2020, many expect there will be a price spike the same as the halving moment in previous periods. Even though it didn't reach the peak like last year, at least there is a big pump that will happen, I think so. And some potential altcoins will be positively affected, the market will be attractive again, hopefully.

I don't have any expectations for 2020. If you really want to invest in Bitcoin you should just do it and stop expecting anything, invest only what you can risk and forget about the rest. If you keep expecting things to happen, they might not happen and you will end up being frustrated and giving up within a short time, and the worst thing that can happen to you is withdrawing your money and then the price goes up. I can't really predict what happens in the cryptocurrency market, so there is no need to talk about it. I just invest my money with plans to hold them there for at least two or three years.

So, if price goes up, then I'm lucky, and if it goes down I wouldn't be so much worried because I invested an amount I'm ready to risk. And by the way I'm not going to lose all my money, maybe only 50% or so.

Even up to now crypto market price was still in bad shape, due to the price of bitcoin it remains in bad shape. But good opportunity to the whale investors now to buy back a huge amount of it again. I don't agree with your opinion, the market expectations are higher than in previous years due to the BTC halving. The main reasons have the magic to change the attitude of the crypto investors, the deceived investors will come back one more time after the end of bear market. The end is near for the lucky bears, 2020 will the good year if the governments don't put another barrier in front of the crypto trading.

Everyone has high hopes about next year due to bitcoin halving, especially with the past market rally caused by previous halvings. Yesterday I started accumulating more BTC, and will buy more when price drops further. I don't really think altseason will come so soon, but let's be hopeful anyway. We are just taking calculated risk by investing in crypto after all.

Cryptocurrency market is very fluctuating always. If you see the graph of last 3-4 years you can fluctuation statistics. So any thing can happen in crypto market. Once upon a time when any bad news came then market had down but last one year there is not bad news but market is not still going up.

Why do people think of one direction and not the opposite? Have you guys seen Litecoin's halving failed? It was previously an alts in the top 3 and it has a lot of influence on this crypto market. The volume and community are not small, but it was a major disappointment when the halving event did not bring a price increase to it. So this is very likely in Bitcoin and hopefully people don't believe in a trend. In this crypto market, anything can happen and plan a plan to hedge risks.

It's been a long struggle but btc is still here, though it has recovered a bit this year but I know people are not satisfied because it did not create a good improvement in the general market, people like to see btc rise and altcoins as well, thus far, its not happening and no signs at all yet.

But, the crypto market will improve when the time is right not even when it Q1 of next year and my advice to those who have make lost is to accumulate more coins when it dip before halving effect take over the market.

I don't think it's just because of the fraud. Many people are losing money right now because they invested in the wrong coins that are performing badly. Or maybe, they didn't pull out their funds in time. And bitcoin is not really in good shape right now. I have no expectations about cryptocurrency in 2020. Whatever happens, happens. My expectation is that halving will have much less of an effect than a lot of people think. In the past it has led to price increases, but this time everyone is expecting a price increase... which means that any increase is already priced in well in advance of the halving actually happening.

Other than that, I think the long slow recovery from the 2018 bear will continue. Whether we'll hit new ATHs however I have absolutely no idea.

Maybe a lot of people already have big expectation because of halving. I think it is not really good, what people must do is keep calm, or maybe keep focus on bitcoin price and start to make target how high want to get profit or maybe set target how lowest it can be. Actually i think no one can predict crypto price correctly and believe in speculation without deep analysis is not really good to do.

We got stuck by this long bear market so it's understandable that there are some doubts in the coming halving.
As for me, we might not be able to see our expectation but I will just think optimistic so we can get out of this long market struggle and hopefully that would happen.

People were expecting the other halvings we have gone through and could even predict the date it would happen. Did that stop the price from going up at all? Once the mining rewards drop by 50%, the price of Bitcoin will go up because it's going to make them twice as hard to come by. You've got to pay those electricity bills somehow.

I would not be too confident and I am still ready to experience another bad year as long as the market will stay and just like before, holding is my main priority while waiting for the bull run to come.

I wouldn't count on 10,000% as a sure thing.. That would put the price at over $7million. However, I do think this coming year will be much like this year with a steady price increase. Probably even stronger than it was this year. The halving is coming up sometime in May and that should raise the price and bring most altcoins along for the ride with it. You will more than likely see some profits, but don't anticipate 10,000% in a year.

Unlike the previous years while bitcoin was not yet hitting the peak price, whales take more risk rather than manipulating btc price. They used to take more hype instead of dumping over to take profit quickly. They're having more patience than regular holders, but if the value go upward successfully just prepare for the crash to take full dominance.

We could get almost all of the benefits we can when there is a bull run, so as of now buy since the price is still cheaper.

I have to agree. get 1 BitCoin and wait for the bulls. when the bitcoin bulls run, all the altcoins will drop, then buy some favorite altcoins you think will run after BTC finishes it's head start. thereby diversifying your portfolio, but more percent in bitcoin. with that said, it is overall best to go with BTC as it is slow but steady in it's overall rise in price. further, BTC is the only proven resilient cryptocurrency to date no other has yet to truly prove itself from all attacks, while Ethereum is the only proven fungible cryptocurrency to date but is inflationary unlike the deflationary BTC.

Why would you buy MATIC? Haven't you seen the price action? That very long dump is an exit scam dump by one of the insiders. They already planned to do it long ago.Only fools or traders who loves to risk will buy this coin. I mean it's ok to intraday trade it during an alt season. But long term, it's over.

I am concerned about halving because expectations are so high that it will trigger a bull run. Normally when an expectation is this strong, that means it is already priced in. I think the same is likely true for ETH 2.0 and the move to hybrid PoS.

Having said that, for BTC and ETH these are both fundamental changes to reward levels, so it may not be the same as when we see generic 'good news' that is already priced in.

   I have a modest expectations for the next year. This year was nice to crypto-currencies, generally crypto-market raised a bit,
it's better then 2018, so it would be nice we to continue growing trough the next year too.
   I don't expect bull run, I'm excited for Bitcoin halving, that will be my first halving. After that I hope Bitcoin will start growing

Overall i expect a good market by 2020 that is my last hope  after this long bearish market. And so for the alt season to come back and recover as well. If you think market going down is a bad thing, quit trading. If you see historical data of bitcoin there are ups followed by down and vice versa. We must not starting spreading bad things about crypto market whenever it goes down. Many are buying for next upword trend while others are cursing the market. I expect to be a different year and more good than was 2017 and 2019 for crypto and much more people maybe will come to crypto and i think we will have a new ATH for almost all coins, but only for the coins which have a real usage and not for the clone coins.
