Title: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days?
Post by: Abiky on December 03, 2019, 10:40:01 PM
There are many great cryptocurrencies on the market with powerful features that enables anyone to be financially free like never before. From privacy-oriented coins, to smart-contract platforms, there's a cryptocurrency for anyone. In this highly-volatile market, even the most prominent cryptocurrencies have suffered a massive decline in price. The top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Litecoin may be highly undervalued these days. But there could be other good cryptocurrencies with limited supply and constant development that are highly undervalued too because people haven't noticed their true potential.

I'm starting to wonder, which cryptocurrencies on the market are highly undervalued these days? It's no secret that there are hundreds of altcoins on the market, each with their respective features. But not all of them are useful within the mainstream world. If there are other cryptocurrencies that are highly undervalued these, why do you believe them to be as such? ???

I think their volume tells that they are undervalued and that's why they are treated as such. In this market, we tend to go with what does the charts tell and for such altcoins that are undervalued and have a very low volume. But we could have our own preference if it's about these coins being undervalued.
What are the coins that you think are undervalued anyway?

Actually, that depends on where you look from. We can calculate it with BTC value and the mining value. For some, this is related to the volume, while for others it should be calculated in accordance with the current price of BTC. For me, mining value is the better way to determine the real price. This allows you to determine whether the price is undervalued or not.

XRP has more real life use and partnerships than any other crypto and is the most undervalued.

Most of the good quality assets that have a high amount of liquidity are top ranked already with not that many low cap assets representing enough interest from investors due to lack of marketing, usability, or are too new yet and haven't had much hype but most of those are a DYOR type of thing as not many share hidden gems

Looking for an undervalued coin in a pile of scam is a so-so pastime. Given that the market has been in a bearish trend for 2 years, all Top coins are undervalued at the moment compared to their maximum prices. It is better to buy them for a long term than to try to find some hypothetical undervalued coin that may not show growth at all, even with a unique technology.

If there is an altcoin that is currently undervalued, I think it is not altcoin based on the Ethereum blockchain because many of them just use for deceive and useless.
I have WAVES, LBC and STEEM and these coin very undervalued I thought the price could last at least in the range of $1 but apparently they fell quite far.

For me, it's ETH! It is the most dynamic cryptocurrency I have seen so far, came from a genius developer! With upcoming Istanbul fork which will move it to POS algorithm, ETH is highly undervalued! With the movement to POS algorithm, it will offer a very nice passive income opportunity to all HODLers and may be proven worthwhile to hold for an even longer period! For me, ETH should be priced at $250 - $300 level for the benefits it provides to the crypto community!

Myself too have the same thinking, ethereum is the best cryptocurrency apart from bitcoin. For some reason this hasn't shown big growth from the day after it reaching its peak value. 2020 is much expected to make a big change in its growth, and people doesn't think it to be undervalued, the growth has delayed.

I think most coins now are undervalued based on the downside of the market especially btc, eth, neo, xrp, and xlm. These coins for me are only effect of this bearish sentiment and likely could increase when the market recovers. Those altcoins that has recently resurface can't be called undervalued since they dont have anything to prove yet to seize their value. Undervalued is something like a hidden gem which is ready to sprung anytime but not for those new alts.

Every coins will be undervalued if market is down, sorry but this is just the way it is in crypto space, even very good coins with real use cases feels the hit as well so its nothing to worry about only if you are bagging coins with real use cases

Personally I don't think any altcoin is currently undervalued instead I still think they're still overpriced, the 2017 spike in price boosted many altcoins to outrageous prices that doesn't reflect the actually worth of the projects that's the adoption of the coin plus the advancement of the technology behind the coin. Coins like Binance Coin are just over overpriced via manipulation.

Ethereum could be an exception since is utility is huge but still the price value could be match with the current trust of the community on the token.

I guess, the sh**coin tags of all new projects have made things a little hard for crypto community. I believe lots of people have good project they believe are worth considering but for the fear of being tagged scoins, they withdraw back to their shells. People prefer to recommend the top/established coins rather than new projects. This is how innovative can be tactically killed or slowed down in Crypto.
I guess good and long lasting incentives could help counter potential apathy for new great projects.

It was already thousands of altcoins in the market today and its hard to find which altcoins is undervalued, But if i picked some of it i rather choose stellar XLM, Coti ,Credits Since i see that most of the price of this coins are still low despite of its mainstream usability. those coins are just picked for example, But i'm sure still many of altcoins that still undervalue till today besides of its true potentials.

The top slot claimed by a coin on capital market doesn't make a coin to be promising and no matter how promising the concept of a project is, once it coin is centralized the coin is automatically powerless. Therefore, NEO, EOS, Stellar is not among the coins that are undervalued and NEM in the other hand is a project that barely update there platform.

The most undervalued project I know right now is Blocknet.

1) They made the first TRUE DEX, meaning true decentralization, unlike the fake DEX's like: IDEX, Waves DEX, Binance DEX and many more which isn't decentralized at all.

2) Their Xrouter, probably the most powerful tech I've seen, solving the Oracle problem in probably the most decentralized fashion I've ever seen. Pull requests are handled by service nodes, who also handles the DEX, meaning they can access information on ALL the assets listed on the DEX itself, moreover, they can communicate with real world applications through API's.

3) Scarce supply, only 6 million in circulation, and with a price below $0.7 it's a steal.

TRX this token already dip its bottom several times. While this token is the cheapest among mentioned in this thread, this had rose up to $0.20 in 2017. Now that is almost another bullrun is approaching and the dapps created in TRON had multiplied several times, its sure to have fly more than $5 when new investors are coming again to find their wealth in crypto.

When I look at the whole topic, coins are usually chosen as old and with a certain popularity. I think we should take a look at new and high potential projects with very low MC.

For example, LTO, ONE, WPP and FRM are the ones I follow. Such projects have not yet seen a bull season. Therefore, they have not yet seen a more significant ATH. I think that at least 3 of these 4 projects will surely rise in the long term.

I also know many new projects and tokens that are really undervalued but i will avoid to post their names because they are more volatile so more risky to hold.

I agree with you about Eth, Ada & Nano ! Especially concerning Nano : it remains a mystery to me. Such efficiency, free transfers ... How is it that this project does not take off more ?? I think the 'Bitgrail' affair hurt it a lot.  :-\

I would agree with Eth and Neo, as I think they are both undervalued and Neo in particular is just really underrated.  Xrp and Xlm are garbage in my opinion and I wouldn't want to own either of them.

Bitcoin probably isn't severely undervalued and I don't think it could be given how many people own it, trade it, whatever.  It's always at a fair market price whereas a coin like Neo tends to be overlooked.  Monero might be another one that should be getting more attention and might be going for less than it's worth.  I'm not going to list off a bunch of coins and turn my post into a shill session, but there are a lot of them.

If a potential coin is undervalued, despite the enormity of the product it has, it means that not enough !marketing has been done. Else, I see no reason why such coin should not be in high demand.
There are lots of them, but most tikes, it seems that the developers are at their wit end, not knowing what to do to rescue the issue.

Indeed. There are really a lot of promising crypto coins in the market which is undervalued right now because the market is still down up until this moment of time so even we do know that the certain crypto coin is undergoing a progress, we cannot still even notice it because of the prices are dropped down in the market. Their set values in the market seems to portray a small impact to audience or holders that is why they are being undervalued added by the fact that the market is still currently down. Maybe the reason behind why those coins are undervalued because people do not primarily notice those coins right due to the fact that prices are not that catchy or attractive to caught the attention of potential buyers or traders. But when time comes that the market goes up once again, I am expecting and believing many undervalued crypto coins right now will surely be valuable to many people.

We could find it in some exchanges especially at Forkdelta or Etherdelta. They listed almost all coins/tokens existed today and we can find out that new tokens will easily drop off without a single recovery. For their huge number, we can't simply count them and it takes time to collect all of them for summary cause, not all exchanges are the same coins listed.

To think that ripple users are not that much as compared to bitcoin users. You have a point. On my end, ethereum is still undervalued. The price should be higher than bitcoin cash at least. Eth has proven a lot already and used by many crypto traders. I really don't understand why bitcoin cash is more expensive than eth?

After the bear market, many coins are undervalued, moreover the new coins from new projects. They always have very decreased prices and values that make many investors feel regret to invest.
However, beyond that, there are a number of coins that used to have high values and became top coins, now they are experiencing a drastic decline. Though they provide a lucrative concept and investment. Some of the top coins are like IOTA, NEO, EOS, and also ADA. This is in my personal opinion.

coins that enter the top 100 in cmc are still highly valued but prices have dropped dramatically, and in my opinion that causes prices to still not go up now because in 2018 the price of crypto has fallen very much different from 2017 where the year is crypto, most likely the price of crypto  still not rising because in 2018 there are still many who are rectal and difficult to recover assets

Theres a lot of good/undervalued cryptocurrencies in the market but you need to know first what kind of altcoin do we need to consider as a good investment this day because most altcoin that I experienced in the past cannot run for long term.
As for my research its better to invest those altcoin that have been tested for so many years like ethereum & eos.

And listing many coins/tokens very quickly to give rise to the exchange. Their newest listing was Papyrus network, you can find all those on their twitter.

I think almost all coins or tokens are now undervalued. This incident occurred because of many negative issues that befell the world of crypto and eventually the coin holders sell it to avoid loss. Although it is definitely a loss if sold now.
For some people, hold is a tough choice because this is not necessarily also a guarantee for him to get the benefits of these bad times.
What I believe is undervalued is not a bad thing for coins or tokens that are really serious about developing their projects. Because one day these conditions can be reversed.

You give hard question, all coins undervalued right now no one in green mode. I see like EOS can survive better than other, even the price is undervalued but if we see from chart history this EOS has stable position, will not dump too deep. Many platform take EOS as their payment system ( specially game ) and because of this people trust in EOS will grow up next time. Undervalued doesn't mean can't survive, take the best depend on your analyze and good luck to you.

We know that ETH has a big potential to increase in the future, and perhaps, many people agree to hold this coin for a long time. Besides of ETH, I am sure people will have their favourite coins, and we have different coins to hold for now. I think LTC, BNB can be the next choice of the coin that still undervalued but we also have the other coins that can increase. It is difficult to choose the coin as all coins at the market wants to show their power to grow. But I think Atom, Grin, can be a good choice to hold too.

Exactly. There are so many good coins out there, that don't deserve today's low prices on the market. The ones you've mentioned are always active in development and innovation. They've been battle-tested over time, too. While they're among the top coins in market cap, their prices are much lower than they were back in 2017. Perhaps, many good cryptocurrencies are undervalued nowadays because of Bitcoin's fall by the beginning of 2018. The extensive bear market has caused a massive decline in price across nearly every cryptocurrency on the market. To be able to see good results, we might have to wait a pretty long time.

While the next bull market is yet to come, we could take advantage of the situation and buy as much undervalued coins as we can. Of course, it's essential to perform a research about the project you'll be investing into before making a financial decision. The 3 aforementioned coins (NEO, Stellar, and NEM) are one of the leading coins on the market. I see that Stellar has huge potential of becoming something big in the future, mostly because IBM is backing it. It could either reach $1 in the future, or remain as is. Any cryptocurrency can experience wild fluctuations in price over time, because of their highly-volatile nature. Hence, it's best to analyze the market to perform an investment decision at the right time. :)

What are the coins that you think are undervalued anyway?

I think that DigiByte, Zcash, Litecoin, Komodo, and NEO are largely undervalued these days. This is because such coins are highly active in development, with a battle-tested blockchain over the years. Not only that, but some are also limited in supply (like Zcash's 21 million total supply and Litecoin's 84 million total supply). DigiByte has blazing fast speeds and cheap transactions with a multi-algorithm consensus mechanism for maximum security against 51% attacks. On the other hand, Komodo has Zcash's tried-and-tested ZK-SNARKS technology, a multi-currency wallet, a DPoW consensus which provides the security of the Bitcoin blockchain, atomic swaps (with Atomic DEX), and many other exciting features. And last but not least, there's NEO which is a smart contract platform like Ethereum but even better with greater scalability and a great compatibility with various programming languages like JavaScript, and Python.

If people realized the true benefits of the previously mentioned cryptocurrencies in relation to Bitcoin, demand would've increased resulting in higher prices across the crypto market. Since altcoins depend on Bitcoin to succeed, they've been on a constant decline in price because Bitcoin has been in the same route. Until Bitcoin achieves higher prices than $20k, we might not be able to see said cryptocurrencies grow in price across the crypto market. Just my opinion :)

There are lots of tokens that are undervalued maybe due to the bad altcoin market condition! For example, NEO should stay strong at 50$, but they never achieved 30$ in this whole year where Binance coin surged the 30$ several times. In my view, ADA, EOS, even Ethereum are undervalued! These coins' prices should grow higher than now! A project like EOS is a true gem in crypto but it's price less than 5$! So, these are the most undervalued coins in my opinion.

Though for me, I won't be caught vouching for any other cryptocurrency for now expect Bitcoin.
However, if I am forced to pick, I think it is Stellar and Cardona and XRP.
Tron too seems to have a brilliant 2020, I see good price increase because the team has been putting in a lot of work that will have significant effect in the future.

I've followed Digibyte 2-3 years ago and I think they really are one of the toughest and commendable if it's for the development. They have been very consistent as for Litecoin, I was once a fan of it and always been suggesting it but yeah we can consider it as a very undervalued coin today. Although after the halving it had before, everyone expected that it will skyrocket which is the known attitude of bitcoin every after halving it had. Zcash, Komodo and NEO are also considerable although I don't have it but I just prefer not to have them anyway but they really have their own advantages.

I'm not familiar with cardano but I like Stellar and tron. I agree that tron boom last 2019 and more likely become a strong dapp project on 2020. On the other hand, Stellar is likelu my bet and its price is currently undervalued right now, considering the price burning that happened last few weeks. Imagine the burning activity loss millions of dollar and the team decide to throw it away for a better solution. So I guess they are serious about improving stellar.

I would say that most alts are undervalued right now, or they did just find their real value after the 2017 "bubble", who knows. But I would still bet on strong infrastructure projects that came to the market in 2018 and 2019 and because of the market conditions failed to flourish (like Hedera, Harmony, Elrond et cetera).

There are many great cryptocurrencies on the market with powerful features that enables anyone to be financially free like never before. In this highly-volatile market, even the most prominent cryptocurrencies have suffered a massive decline in price.

Compared to bitcoin, it turns out that almost all altcoins are underestimated. This primarily concerns ethereum. The remaining top coins are also very underestimated. Although it is difficult to say so far which of them is underestimated and which are overestimated. After all, we can so far judge this in comparison with the price of bitcoin. As long as there is a tough price dominance of bitcoin on the cryptocurrency market, such a bias will probably always be. I think that over time the situation will gradually change. It is difficult to say which model we will ultimately come to, however, the current situation with prices in the cryptocurrency market is not normal.

Kind of a useless question, as folks here will simply state what they are holding. As for what coins are undervalued... throw a dart at a bunch of coin names and the odds you'll be right is just as good as any analysis will provide. The problem with determining value in crypto is that speculation trumps technicals.

So if you can guess where whales will decide to speculate and pump up a coin, you have found an undervalued coin. But unless you are a whale yourself, it's kind of difficult to figure this out.

The point is: the main market factor is manipulation. A currency can look perfect, have many exciting features, a top notch technological one, but unfortunatelly these factors are secondary. Although they have potential, the market doesn't work this way.
People are more interested in profits than in technology, including the whales who make this universe profitable and worthful for new investors. I think what could change this scenario is to bring new big investors who are really interested in adopting crypto currency in daily life, and not just for speculation purposes.

You have hit the nail on the head with your comment. Question is useless, we believe that entire crypto-market is undervalued.
I have many coins and tokens, like others, throw a dart and you will hit some coin that someone has and believe in.
I decided to not bother myself too much, I invest in a coin, I plan to hold it for a long time, and I don't question my decision every
time I see the prices dropping.

DigiByte was delisted in Polo its in the news though, its true that its price started very small since the time of 2016 I have see nit grow just like doge.  I guess the longer the coin stay alive the more it get stronger support from its community.  Komodo, and NEO are good ones because these offers passive income, KMD for staking is very promising and its a platform for priv coins.

It's a pity that some projects with great team effort and development still have very poor prices due to current market situation. Take a look at ETH which once touched 1400$ is struggling below 200$. Also coins like WAVES with great updates still do not have good price performance. XLM and NPXS too are supposed to make their holders rich by now, but the reverse is the case (maybe their very large total supply is affecting them negatively).

All Altcoins are experiencing the same thing, which is a price that is very far from ATH in 2017. Currently the market is still in the recovery stage to make a recovery. If the price of BTC is stable and dominance decreases, I'm sure Altcoin like ETH will reach a new ATH if a lot of support comes. ETH is a good altcoin with many professional developers developing Ethereum 2.0 which will be launched soon next year.

If we consider certain cryptocurrencies only from the point of view of obtaining a one-time benefit, then artificially pumping prices on the market just contributes to this, but if we talk about a real assessment of cryptocurrency and certain projects, then I would prefer to choose long-term investments at such moments that will be in demand in society  and which will be actually used in practice in various spheres of human activity.  I am sure that there are very few such cryptocurrencies on the market, but still they are.  The time will come when the cryptocurrency market will clear itself of junk coins and only the most promising ones will remain.

Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days?

Most are way over valuated since they have no use case and are worth close to zero.  There is possibility that also the rest are over valuated. You see their marketcaps are in billions of dollars. Big companies are worth less then that. It is very hard to value them beside demand and supply. But demand and supply might be tricky, since we are at top of economic cycle. All stock exchange indexes are at ATH. When that collapse, there will be way less stupid money available for crypto.

Blocknet compared with Komodo in a nutshell:

Blocknet's DEX is fully functional - 100% Decentralized, and been running for well over a year.
Komodo's Atomic DEX - In Beta, centralized points of failure. Here's why:

Komodo's AtomicDEX Exchange Runs a P2P Full Node in Your Web Browser
Whose full node..?  Who's validating the tx's being created in swaps on the respective chains?  A centralized server?

Visit a URL and log into an account
And this is decentralized?  ???

Firm runs multiple servers
So a single "firm" is running all of these "servers"  I'd much rather have a decentralized network of hundreds of service nodes running servers vs 1 party.
.. or the option of running your own full node.

A swap between two chains actually takes place between those two chains — and not between proxy tokens and other “intermediate” layers. [...] We firmly state that no other DEX comes close.
Erm, Blocknet does (and we do it the right way ;))

Komodo's Marketcap: $77 mio
Blocknet's Marketcap: $4 million

And this is not even considering that Blocknet solves the "Oracle Problem" too with their Xrouter services. You can read more about it here:
https://blocknet.co/blocknet-releases-xrouter-the-internet-of-blockchains-expands/

Komodo's marketcap is 19X bigger than Blocknet's, yet doesn't even compare with Blocknet's tech at this point in time.

There you go, a highly undervalued project.  ;) ^^

Current market conditions are very bad. Altcoin and BTC also suffered a considerable decline in either because there is bad news what until there is a storm or indeed every year-end many investors sell their coin? Yes, we know many altcoins scattered where with different projects but also some useless, most of them only as an investment means and do not want to run the project in real life.

Same thing when bitcoin start to pumped and alts followed then  another side of stories will show up. Crypto will be there to stay maybe there's alts that will die in the long run, those who don't have any usages but for those that have good use they are just waiting for the healthy market and sooner it will
rise back and give good value for investors investment.

Because all we see that wayback 2017 and first to second quarter of 2019 bitcoin is already dominate the crypto world but look it's price now. Take a look at ETH which once touched 1400$ is struggling below 200$. Also coins like WAVES with great updates still do not have good price performance. XLM and NPXS too are supposed to make their holders rich by now, but the reverse is the case (maybe their very large total supply is affecting them negatively).

This may be largely attributed to the long-standing bear market of 2018. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were greatly affected as prices started to decline massively across the market. Even if development is growing stronger than ever, prices are still low these days. Since most people associate crypto's success with its pricing, they believe that the whole industry is failing. But we as crypto enthusiasts know that this is just a misconception of how crypto behaves across the market.

There are many good coins out there that are undervalued these days, considering their proven track record of development and innovation. Ethereum is one of the best altcoins in existence right now, and it has suffered from a constant decline in price. Being worth over $1,000 per coin to just hundreds of dollars shows us how severely the bear market affected even the most prominent coins in the mainstream world. On the bright side, development is still on-going for most altcoins we know and love today. Ethereum has recently experienced a hard fork which improves transaction capacity a little. While prices haven't increased that much, it's an undervalued coin that's worth investing for the long term. Other coins like WAVES and XLM are good too, with unique technologies that allow people to trade tokens or other cryptocurrencies without a middleman (decentralized exchanges), as well as, blazing-fast transaction confirmation times. What kills them is their total supply, though.

Litecoin is another great cryptocurrency that's largely undervalued these days mostly because of its limited supply relative to Bitcoin. With only 84 million coins that will ever be created, Litecoin should've been a lot more valuable than what it is right now. Still, development is on-going and the community is expecting to adopt Mimblewimble soon. In the current bear market, it's best to accumulate as much undervalued coins as we can for future safe-keeping. Before you know, prices will rise once more, allowing you to reap huge profits across the crypto market.

Nonetheless, time will tell us whenever there will be interest from everyday people into most cryptocurrencies that are undervalued these days. If there's lack of demand, then expect their prices to go lower over time. Development might still go on, but lower prices will make matters worse for people who use these cryptocurrencies for daily payments. Just my thoughts ;D

The thing is, nobody can say what is undervalued or not, since prices are mostly based on speculation, not real world use. So folks could claim most crypto is still overvalued ... and nobody could even say they were wrong.

Personally I think good coins (top 5-10) are undervalued, and there are some gems within the top 100, but that doesn't mean much really. BTC remains king, everything else is too tied into BTC prices to really stand on their own yet.

Undervalue means below IEO or ICO price. Low volume exchange IEO token price is undervalue even will stay in this price for long time. This is more interesting to know that from new coin only few has value over ICO. But this bear market so I have selected some coin or token, one is INsolar coin, Ferrum network and Harmony.

many potential projects have died due to insufficient funds to operate. Remember the Credits project that had stirred up the public for a while in 2018? At that time, Bitcoin was still at $ 13k and everything went smoothly. Credits has shown how top notch their blockchain technology is and they claim no system can handle blocks as fast as them at the time with the cheapest fees in the market. but when bitcoin fell miserably and the price of ETH fell more than 94% since ATH, all claims seemed to be gone.

Yes, this tends to be relative. If the benchmark is a standard value in general, it is less effective. but if we analyze the chart thoroughly to see the percentage decrease in the same timeframe, we will get accurate data. In broad outline we can see a decline in almost all of cryptocurrency, however Bitcoin is giving a big impact on the market.
For new tokens or coins, this time is very difficult. See how many projects fail to reach ICO prices when trading is officially opened? while only those from the trusted IEO project on the global exchange have looked good development.

The market is down right now and it's been for a couple of years now. So there are a lot of promising coins undervalued.
NEO, Stellar and NEM are the coins most undervalued among the top coins. They are having many achievements in the time being but there price has failed to reflect the development. EOS had a spectacular rise earlier but it is also not being able to repeat its growth in price compared to the growth of its use.
For Cryptocurrency many who want their value so high. With its current development in my opinion is able to get a pretty high celebrity. So it would be great to value the average of its values to be upgraded to a one-way value. This will affect-the future so it will be great to make the future of every opportunity become present and profitable more high-drifting system. So this hope arises to ensure even more profit.

I think you could say many are undervalued at the moment but I like to look at the tech. I like Helios Protocol you can check out the website

https://heliosprotocol.io/

It's fairly new I first heard of it last year and signed up for an airdrop while it was an erc20 token. No longer an erc20 since the release of main net. Plenty of things to like about this project.

No ICO a self funded project and community driven. It's a smart contract platform based on DAG, it has super low fees and is fast but my favourite thing about it is that Helios is infinitely scalable which is what we all need. No clogging up this chain. So I would call Helios undervalued as well as underrated. Do your own research on this project and you can even earn some HLS each month by doing some simple bounties you can sign up at

Litecoin, BNB, Ethereum and many more, you can check the price of any coin against its ATH.

Under utilized in terms of what?
This is the term mostly used in stock exchange. In stock exchange we have stocks that are backed by companies that have assets and physically exists. I don’t think majority of crypto coins has any such things. To declare some coin as undervalued we have to find its value original value first (or face value).

Yeah, there's a several of coins which they're undervalued like what you said. ETH, litecoin, probably the ripple (xrp) and many others. People should search about that and always reading news to know when they need to buy and when they need to sell that's how the trading works. I am currently investing in bitcoin, etherum and I have some ripples since few months, I wish that the market goes up really soon so we all can get a good profit.

I can list out lots of 'undervalue' altcoin like Neo, Tezos, Nem... But how can we know those coins really cheap at this time? Compare current price which ATH? No, i dont think so, i think there 's no such thing call 'undervalue' in crypto. Crypto price is still being control by too much things like news, fud, goverment, devolopers, ico price... I think we will see more 'undervalue' price soon in near future.

Yes unfortunately that's the sad state of crypto as it's completely hijacked by whales and trader as well as agencies you have mentioned. I always felt Tron is undervalued not because of it's ATH but in comparison to similar altcoins which has similar features.

In my view, all crypto coins right now are undervalued.
Litecoin, BNB, Ethereum and many more, you can check the price of any coin against its ATH.
By doing little research one can find many such coins. It is a great chance to become a crypto whale, buy low and sell high.

Agree. There are so many coins right now with active development and innovation that are undervalued across the crypto market. This could be a result of Bitcoin's prices going down since the bear market emerged in 2018. As most cryptocurrencies rely on Bitcoin as a reserve currency, their prices will go up or down depending on Bitcoin's behavior within the market. Usually, the top 10 coins in market cap are the ones that are undervalued because they have real use cases within the mainstream world. Ethereum is largely useful for decentralized applications which provide decentralized financial services for anyone worldwide. Litecoin is known as Silver to Bitcoin's Gold because of the limited supply it has (84 million coins will ever be mined). It also has a halving mechanism like Bitcoin, so it should've been worth a lot more money than what it is right now. Even Binance's BNB token has a burning mechanism becoming scarcer over time. The token gives a lot of benefits for its holders including but not limited to trading discounts, and access to the "Binance Chain" blockchain network.

And there are other coins like Komodo, Zcash, Monero, Dash, and NEM that are highly undervalued as well. The most interesting one is Dash since it provides instant transactions and even lower fees than Bitcoin itself. It has also introduced a "Chain Locks" mechanism to protect itself against 51% attacks. On the other hand, Monero is the #1 privacy coin available on the market right now, with a battle-tested privacy tech that allows the user to remain anonymous when sending/receiving coins. This privacy coin is truly fungible where businesses can use it to hide their utmost sensitive transactions. With so many good coins that are undervalued these days, one could easily pour some money into them to become an early adopter. If a bull market occurs again, then you could expect to obtain massive profits like never before. When you put all of these cryptocurrencies together, you get a robust, decentralized financial ecosystem that's better than traditional Fiat. The only issue is price volatility, but that's easily manageable with the introduction of Stablecoins.

Nonetheless, in times like these, it's often best to buy low and sell high. There's a pattern for Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies on the market that's similar to a roller-coaster. Prices go up and down within certain periods of time. Sooner or later, undervalued cryptocurrencies will reflect their true value as people recognize their benefits. With real use cases for the mainstream world, I believe that many of the aforementioned cryptocurrencies will survive for years to come. Just my opinion :)

Yes if we see that there are indeed many coins that are undervalued and it is indeed the right step if we decide to buy more coins when the price is decreasing and this is a good opportunity to start buying and investing into a coin. But, don't be too greedy and buy lots of coins when the price is falling, make sure that the coins purchased have the potential to be able to make a profit or if we hold it for a long time it will not be in vain.

Anyway it may come in another time around that such crypto may come increase. As for looking one to invest with, I don't suggest or it is not recommended to with the undervalued one.

There are some undervalued coins here, surprisingly some of them are large coins. This all must have a reason and we can not completely turn away from coins that are subscribed to our portfolio.

Finding the undervalued and writing down the reasons for investing in the specific coin will open the gate to successful investing. Buy and forget rule still works if the investor knows what he/she is doing. The privacy-oriented altcoins have a future and the people will use mainly these types of transactions in the Web 3.0 IMO. High marketcap coins or top 100 altcoins are not suitable for giving back enormous ROI, just look for low marketcap altcoins.

Agree. The investor must know what he/she is doing before pouring money into any cryptocurrency project. Some research needs to be made in order to separate the "good" cryptocurrencies from the "bad" ones. In my opinion, nearly every cryptocurrency which has smart contracts functionally have a bright future. I believe that cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Cardano, EOS, and even Ethereum Classic are largely undervalued these days because of the useful features they provide to the mainstream world. Privacy coins are undervalued too since they allow people to remain financially free from oppressive governments worldwide. They are better than Bitcoin in this sense, but have a huge probability of being banned by worldwide governments in the future.

Still though, if you're deeply into undervalued coins, I'd suggest that you look for those which have a limited supply and an active development team (with the exception of Ethereum whose supply is infinite). Coins like Komodo, Zcash, Monero, Grin, Litecoin, and even Dash fit the bill nicely. The reason why so many coins are undervalued these days is because of the long-standing bear market of 2018. Not to mention, people are in it for the money instead of the technology. That's why we've seen many cryptocurrencies that are scarce by design having a low price across the market. Without demand for these cryptocurrencies, I'm afraid they won't be going anywhere. Maybe, the top 5-10 cryptocurrencies in market cap will obtain a higher value in the future. But what matters is how useful the cryptocurrency is for the mainstream world. Just my opinion :)

And since there are a lot of undervalued cryptocurrencies, it's actually the best time to buy them. But one must be careful still and choose wisely which must be only bought. It's been an expensive month already for many of us so, I doubt we all still have the money for investing in multiple top cryptos. Furthermore, I do hope prices will start to crawl up once again soon.

I don't think there is any other crypto currency which is undervalued other than Bitcoin. Yes! All other cryptos look very bad infront of Bitcoin. Looks like most of the cryptos will die one day or the other. It is even riskier to invest on these cryptos for long term.
In the long run I will personally choose to invest in bitcoin compared to other coins. Because according to me personally bitcoin will be able to generate profits even though it requires a little longer time but when compared to other coins I would prefer to stay on bitcoin.

bitcoin is indeed quite good if it is invested in the long run, if other coins might be potential under bitcoin. so the most important thing when we start investing in bitcoin, it must be really focused in making detention and must be consistent in investing in it

Bitcoin. In terms of alts, I do think that they will continue to slip in value until at least a few months into the next year until the bullish momentum starts picking up again.

I think that IOTA is one that could be potentially undervalued, but even then I don't believe that it'll make a bull run any time soon.

The alt markets are already quite saturated and I do have reason to believe as a result that BTC may fare better in the next bull market relative to alts.

That's like 74% off bitcoin, let's take a look at Bnb token ATH which was 30$ and now it's trading at 13$, this is all normal to me and good altcoin are all doing fine

Don't compare both digital asset with the same logic. One is established and the oldest cryptocurrency in this industry, while BNB has been around for a several years. The new altcoins and exchange coins will increase the competition between exchange altcoins, this can be the reason why BNB price heads down.

Without a doubt, Bitcoin is highly undervalued these days. Considering that it's the most secure Blockchain network today with a very limited supply, it should've been worth thousands of dollars across the crypto market. Yet, prices have been going up and down like crazy over the past months. It's hoped that the next halving event that will take place in May 2020, would have a positive effect over Bitcoin's price. But the true indicator of its price will be how many people use it within the mainstream world for daily payments. With the Lightning Network on the works, people could finally enjoy instant transactions at a fraction of the cost. Maybe this will boost Bitcoin's price over the long term?

As for alts with promising technologies like IOTA and even Ethereum, they still have a future. Their prices are undervalued just like Bitcoin, given their ability to be used for mainstream payments at a faster speed and lower cost than Bitcoin itself. Ethereum should've been worth at least $1K USD, but it's still below $200. I guess that people don't care how useful a cryptocurrency is, as long as they're able to make some quick buck out of them. If people were into crypto because of the technology instead of the money, I'd bet that major cryptocurrencies on the market would've been worth a ton of money today. It's true that the alt market is oversaturated these days. Too many altcoins will greatly diminish other cryptocurrencies' market share.

Nonetheless, there are so many undervalued cryptocurrencies right now that prove to be a great tool for decentralized finance. Some have instant transactions with no fees, while others have smart contract capabilities which expands their use cases far beyond that of finance. But none of this matters if there's lack of adoption for crypto in the mainstream world. Time will tell us what the true value of crypto will be, as the space matures. Just my thoughts ;D

Having financial freedom through cryptocurrency these days is not an easy thing. It takes a lot of work and money, you will have to invest lots of money and alsowork hard. This doesn’t work for every cryptocurrency, there are some cryptocurrencies that you will invest your money in and no matter how hard you work you will still end up not making profit. That’s why Bitcoin is mostly the best bet anyone can do here, there is more chance of achieving good level of financial breakthrough by investing in bitcoin.

There are good altcoins and Chainlink has been a good investment as of recent. As time goes on new coins keep taking, and Bitcoin still retains its position as the number one.

That's certainly true, mate. Not every cryptocurrency is worth the investment these days. Only those which are active in development and innovation providing real use cases for the mainstream world are worth it. Looking on the market these days, I've noticed that there are quite a lot of cryptocurrencies which are extremely undervalued today. Even Bitcoin is undervalued, as it should've been worth at least $25k by the next halving. The current price of around $9.8k per coin is far away from that range. With just a few months before the next halving, I doubt that Bitcoin would reach $25k in just a short amount of time.

As for altcoins, Ethereum is the biggest one on the market but it's also undervalued. With its smart contract capabilities and trusted branding like Bitcoin, it should've been worth thousands of dollars today. Maybe it's because there are no popular ICOs on the market that would increase demand for ETH? It's no secret that ETH's rise in 2017 was largely attributed to ICOs' success within the mainstream world. So many people were hyped with it, buying as much ETH as they could. Unfortunately, the massive crackdown from governments into ICOs, has caused a decline in demand for Ethereum. Now, it's up to Bitcoin to rise towards new ATHs before Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency will be able to gain traction across the crypto market.

Nonetheless, with so many undervalued coins out there on the market, the avid investor could simply buy prominent coins while they're cheap to get ready for the next bull market. No one knows what will happen exactly in the future, as crypto is largely volatile in price. The best thing we could do is follow the latest developments in the crypto/Blockchain space and speculate how much it'll be worth in the long term. In all ends, Bitcoin will continue to be the number one cryptocurrency like you've said earlier. There are many good altcoins out there on the market, but none are as good as Bitcoin is. With the pioneer cryptocurrency's limited supply and current price, you could say that it's the most undervalued coin on the market today. Just my opinion :)

Thanks, mate. Never heard of this before, but it has quite an interesting concept for a decentralized internet. This is somewhat similar to Mysterium which provides VPN services based on Blockchain technology. Another one is called Privatix which does the same thing as both Tachyon and Mysterium. We'll have to see which becomes widely adopted in the mainstream world, in order to make our investment wisely. I'd go for both Tachyon and Mysterium as they're quite active in development and innovation. I've tried Mysterium's VPN before, and I'd have to say that it works as intended. Tachyon seem to be even better than Mysterium with its unique approach to privacy using a different algorithm with Blockchain technology. Hope it'll grow towards "infinity and beyond!" ;)

I think they are a few coins that are way undervalued at the moment. For me I have my bags of the normal coins like Link, Dash, BNB and BTC. But I also have a few other lower marketcap coins that I really think have a bright future going forward.

I try to get coins that either have working products or are trying to do something different as I believe this is where great gains can be had.

ESBC, Stakecube, Zenzo and of course Sinovate. I really like the way the teams of these coins work and have progressed over the last 12 months and the fact they are still here is a credit to them considering how tough this bear market has been on crypto.

Sinovate have changed the way the masternode system works by introducing the Infinity Nodes which has a direct impact on inflation which is a good thing. Recent news in the media from Forbes and partnership with a major robotic machine company that has worked with the likes of AUDI & BMW shows that they mean business.

Now like most people say "This is not financial advice" in anyway. I just want to tell everyone my thoughts on some low market coins that could see a massive increase in price in the near future.

You can check out my site for all the links to these coins and some recent articles that I have written about some of them.

If you look at the technology, the cryptocurrencies backed up with the best technology include Cardano, NEO, IOTA and EOS. Unfortunately, these are the coins that went down the most in 2018-19. So I would say that this group of coins look under-priced to me. But that said, I can't guarantee any future bull run with any of these coins. From what I have seen, the interest has waned for them, and the development has also been negatively impacted.

There are many good coins people are not looking at their potentials instead they are chasing BCH, BSV ETH and the likes which is absolutely not bad if one has the means to trade the above-listed coins. Now Brave, BNB, ATOM, EOS are good projects to map down for the future. Just yesterday LTO network put a smile in the faces of its traders and holders when it was listed on Binance. This coin had over $6M+ daily volume. When a coin has a huge daily trading volume which is not a bot and backed by active developers following a road map, then it's a good investment for the long term.

CLOAK,

Quote from: Do_zzze

Impossible to predict the future. That said, the last ATH of CLOAK is $33 for 1 Cloak. The possibility is almost 18000% if Cloak returns to his ATH. For that it would require a market cap capitalization of 180 million US Dollars that is the equivalent of a micro "drop of water" in the crypto universe that counts several hundred billions. Then it's a question of coherent investment now that Cloak has evolved and offers a wide range of functionalities.

Cloak's cumulated Marketcap opportunities are well more over $80/Cloak compared to the technology offer of secure mixing, untraceable transactions, confidentiality/anonymity, FOREX trading, DEX trading (come), Swap fonction (come), 6% annual revenue for staking and very cheap transfer fees. Cloak is audited and unhacked since 2014.

See for yourself the trading caps for the offer does not even exceed $500,000 to propel Cloak capitalization to new heights. Remember also that there are only 5,398,427 CLOAK in circulation to date. Some coins are lost forever, which reduces the walls even more.

The opportunity to be listed on a reputable exchange like https://qb.com is a privilege since it will be possible to be exposed to the Eurasian markets. After it is a question of good communication, with the right codes and the right relays, partners, echoes, reviewed to bring information and make Cloak known to the countries of the whole world and to the peoples of the free or locked nations.

It is up to each one to make his networks work, to make known this jewel that is Cloak Coin. The paths are numerous and the possibilities offered are colossal.

You who read me, can you take 3 minutes a day to talk about Cloak on all possible media?

It starts this way to build an empire. "Be your own secure, confidential, anywhere bank."

Yes. Smart contract platforms are very undervalued these days considering their potential to disrupt the business industry as we know it. Ethereum has been the innovator in the space, yet it lacks real use cases for the mainstream world. While I'm still confident that smart contracts are the future of crypto, I believe that it will take some time before mainstream businesses, companies, and individuals alike start realizing the true benefits of decentralized finance (De-Fi). Only then prices of cryptocurrencies based on smart contracts will rise like never before.

The top coins in my opinion are Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, and EOS. They have a prominent development team, as well as, a supportive community that are bound to keep the project alive for the foreseeable future. Still though, the main indicator of an specific cryptocurrency's success will be its adoption worldwide. There are hundreds of coins out there with promising technology and features but only a few have provided real uses for the mainstream world. I believe that only the top most prominent cryptocurrencies on the market are the ones that will be here to stay for a long time. Any cryptocurrency can be considered as undervalued if you take into consideration its total supply vs circulating supply, and technology/features. If supply is very limited while prices are still low, then the coin is definitely undervalued.

Nonetheless, I believe the time will come when the "smart money" will make the crypto market soar towards $1 Trillion in valuation. But for that to happen, Blockchain technology needs to improve scalability first (aside from becoming widely regulated by mainstream governments) to make the money flow as it should. Just my thoughts ;D

Blocknet - Which I predict will hit $100 eventually due to their intense work on decentralized oracles (Read up on their XRouter/XBridge: https://blocknet.co/introducing-xrouter-developers-can-now-mix-and-match-any-blockchain-via-the-worlds-first-blockchain-router/)

On top of that, they are first movers on DEX developments, and a few OTC trades have already taken place on the DEX, completely trustlessly, which is pretty cool, you can read more about their DEX here: https://blockdx.com/

Overall, Blocknet is probably the most undervalued project I know off, sitting outside top 100 on Coinmarketcap!

That's certainly true, mate. Blocknet is one of the most undervalued cryptocurrencies on the market right now, considering its extremely active development and innovation within the crypto/Blockchain space. With a one-of-a-kind decentralized exchange, and Blockchain interoperability, Blocknet should've been worth hundreds of dollars right now. But as with anything, people are focused on the big players in the crypto space (Ethereum, EOS, etc..) than anything else.

The same thing could be said with other cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin and NEM. Litecoin is one of the most limited cryptocurrencies in supply, next to Bitcoin. With only 84 million coins that will ever be mined, Litecoin should've been worth at least $500 - $1,000 by now. On the other hand, NEM is one of the fastest Blockchain networks available with an energy-efficient (and fair) consensus algorithm. With the adoption of "Catapult", NEM will be able to scale indefinitely for the foreseeable future.

Nonetheless, there are so many good coins out there on the market with outstanding features and technology for truly decentralized and fast-performing transactions for the world. But the mere fact that altcoins depend on Bitcoin's price to either rise or fall, has a lot to say about their longevity as an alternative payment system to traditional Fiat. Just my thoughts ;D

If you are talking about undervalued coins then I will like to start from EOS and NEO, I expected EOS to be in three digit numbers now and same for NEO too, there are others like NEM and Stratis but I have nothing to put the blames on than the entire crypto market conditions

The 2 alt coins that are way under their true value are Blocknet and Bitbay

Both projects are pretty much completed and both have a solid usecase.
There are others, I have spread my bets over a lot of promising projects, but those are the most outstanding in terms of potential returns.
I retain the vast proportion of funds in BTC.

I would advise each member do their own research.

Right now I am only liquidating BTC if I consider the alt to have a 50x potential against BTC.

I don't even if both were undervalued coins. In my opinion if EOS is a fail platform that can't even run its big project on its platform. NEM and stratis are less and less demand everyday.
People in these days are smartenough to determine what they are looking especially for utility token.

Agree. Stratis and NEM are way undervalued these days. Consider how actively developed these cryptocurrencies are within the mainstream world. Stratis has a solution for the development of custom Blockchain solutions using the .NET framework. On the other hand, NEM is one of the fastest cryptocurrencies in existence with a fairer consensus algorithm than PoS itself. Its PoI (Proof-of-Importance) algorithm focuses on usage instead of hoarding/saving coins. The more the user spends NEM, the more important he/she will be on the network. It's sort of a reputation system that aims to make NEM a more decentralized cryptocurrency within the mainstream world. And with its upcoming "Catapult" scalability solution, NEM will be able to provide instant payments at a fraction of the cost.

Despite all the features these aforementioned cryptocurrencies bring to the mainstream world, they're still dirt cheap these days (especially NEM). It seems that people are mostly focused on Bitcoin and other big players on the market for profit than anything else. But the truth is, some of these coins are unable to provide real use cases for the world due to their limited scalability. DAG-based cryptocurrencies, and some PoS coins are able to process a large number of TPS at a very low cost. If put to use massively within the mainstream world, I'm sure that prices will rise across the market because of the high demand from everyday people.

Even Bitcoin is undervalued as it's one of the most limited (if not the most limited) cryptocurrencies in existence today. Considering that the halving event is only a few months away, Bitcoin's price should've been more than $20k by now. But as with any cryptocurrency, whales and miners manipulate the market for their own benefit. These ups and downs in price, could be a result of this. One thing for sure is that altcoins rise according to Bitcoin's success within the mainstream world. If Bitcoin is going up, altcoins will go up as well. As long as you've invested wisely into altcoins that are highly active in development and innovation, you'll be able to feel confident that your financial future is safe no matter what. Just my thoughts ;D

Mostly the undervalued cryptocurrencies are into the part of the Altcoin market because they are the ones being undervalued ever since the cryptocurrency marker have experienced a bearish market way back the start of 2018 up to the very late month of year 2019. Investors are dumping the prices of the coins that are coming from the projects they have engaged with because they are mainly focusing into the result of their investments which results for the price of the coin to fall down. Also, brought by some recent issues that involves Altcoins that some are failed and scam, people seems to be afraid of getting into Altcoins which causes for the prices of Altcoins to remain low. While on the part of Bitcoin which continuously experience a good volume of demand is having an observable price movement which is good especially starting up this year 2020.

ETH and WAVES, these are the coins I believe which are undervalued right now.

They were one of the old coins in the market, ETH did grow and reach a new ATH but dump right away and even dump below $100, at the current price I would still think it will just take a right timing before it will start to explode again, so I am betting on ETH and WAVES as an old investor.

BTC is of course undervalued. Probably the most undervalued coin out there if you compare how many people around the world have it and use it compared to other high market cap coins. They don't even come close to BTC's adoption.

When it comes to altcoins privacy coins could use some more value. Steem and Waves have potential too. They shouldn't be so low on CMC. There's so many coins that are higher for no reason, especially scam coins like BSV.

ETH is undervalued IMO too. The latter that was mentioned which I think as undervalued today is NEM. This is an underrated and undervalued coin, I see that there are too many projects that became popular without any innovation.
But NEM is something different from these coins, just like ETH it also has a blockchain solution to offer to businesses and companies which is a good sign to be an undervalued project these days.

As much as I try to understand what the poster meant by a coin being undervalued, your mention of Neo and Waves gives me a light on that. It's been a while I heard anything on the waves platform and hardly see projects there. All I hear in this forum since I joined is mostly about Ethereum blockchain.

On the other hand, buying a good project, yes this is quite cheap like you said but the problem is identifying those good projects. Most undervalued projects are good and it takes good research to fish them out.

The whole industry is undervalued, but there are many instances of overvalued cryptocurrencies that aren't going to bring any positive change or adoption, yet they're taking some of the value that could go into other, much better projects. For instance, if only half of the money currently invested in altcoins with no future went into Bitcoin, it would create a rally that would qyickly escalate and take the whole industry to new highs. IOM, Bitcoin is the most undervalued coin of all and its clones like BCH, BSV, BTG, and so on, are the most overvalued.

Exactly. Bitcoin is way undervalued considering its limited supply and latest developments within the Blockchain space. With a Layer-Two solution like the Lightning Network (which is meant to provide instant transactions at a fraction of the cost), Bitcoin should've been worth more than $50k today. Even popular cryptocurrencies like Waves and Steem should've been worth hundreds of dollars across the market because of their unique features within the Blockchain space. Waves has its own decentralized exchange with fast settlement speeds and low transaction costs. On the other hand, Steem is the decentralized version of "Reddit" with no fees and quick transaction confirmation times. Not to mention, these cryptocurrencies are highly active in development and innovation. I guess that they're still cheap as people are focused on the big players across the market (with the intention of making money than anything else). If people were in it because of the technology instead of the money, you could've expected the aforementioned cryptocurrencies to have a higher price on the market by now.

The reason why Bitcoin forks like BSV and BCH have a high price is because of their limited supply like Bitcoin. Not to mention, these cryptocurrencies carry the "Bitcoin" brand/name which allows them to gain some attention from people in the mainstream world. Other than that, both BSV and BCH are extremely centralized with their huge block sizes (which goes against the value proposition of a Blockchain). Cryptocurrencies which focus on decentralization, and ease-of-use will have better chances of gaining traction across the market than those that are centralized by design. If we based ourselves on this, then Steem, Waves, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and every other decentralized cryptocurrency with real use cases for the mainstream world should've been worth a lot of money by now.

Nonetheless, it's good to know that there are many good undervalued cryptocurrencies out there as this brings a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to invest while the market is still in its lows. Once major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum experience a resurgence in demand across the market, you'll be able to achieve greater returns over your investment. Remember, it's not about making money but rather how you could use crypto and Blockchain tech for your own benefit. There are many coins out there with unique features that are quite useful for the "unbanked". I hope that more people would become aware of the benefits crypto provides on top of Fiat for the market to grow towards a $1 Trillion valuation. Just my thoughts ;D

BNB has chance to climb more high value in the near future but I don't think its undervalued. It is just a token for an exchange and no utility like other decentralized coins.

I feel Monero is the most undervalued altcoin to be honest and the one primary reason for that their price wen down when their official website got hacked which put their privacy under a big question.

But not all of them are useful within the mainstream world. If there are other cryptocurrencies that are highly undervalued these, why do you believe them to be as such? ???

The highest market value of the cryptocurrency market cap is at $ 800 billion and currently the market cap value is at $ 250 billion and I think many coins have an undervalued market cap. But with the number of prospective coins or new tokens, altcoin which has the potential to generate profits can change compared to 2017. I think coins in the top 50 can be a good reference or at least in the top 100 coinmarketcaps

No, but altcoins that are clones of Bitcoin are. IMO the only thing they're doing is stealing some value from the original coin. People who invest in BSV and similar coins are doing it because they think it's Bitcoin, but cheaper, or believe that CSW is telling the truth. Do you see the paradox in this? They believe someone who was caught lying a number of times is actually telling the truth about being Satoshi. Compared to these coins BTC is the real king and it will one day swallow the value of some of those altcoins. You can believe in a lie for a whiole, but sooner or later the truth comes to the surface.

Exactly. Both BSV and BCH are useless coins that are among the top ranks in market cap because of the "Bitcoin" brand/name than anything else. Their extremely centralized design (especially BSV) will lead them to their demise. When you combine both Bitcoin forks' valuation across the market, you'll notice that they've taken a large share of Bitcoin's dominance. The original Bitcoin (BTC) should've been worth a lot of money than what it is valued currently if none of the these Bitcoin spinoffs had emerged in the first place. But I guess that money talks more than anything else.

As far as other altcoins go, the majority of them that are active in development and innovation are also undervalued. So many coins out there with superior transaction capacity and lower fees than Bitcoin, that could've been worth a ton of money today. But no matter how good a coin is in terms of technology, it'll never be able to overcome "the King of Crypto" because the original cryptocurrency has first-mover advantage. It's this reason why many people still trust BTC over any other coin available on the market today.

Considering that altcoins depend on Bitcoin to go up or down in price, we'd just have to wait until the pioneer cryptocurrency (BTC) hits a new ATH across the market. I believe that undervalued coins like Stellar, NEM, Monero, & Waves have the potential to increase in price within a couple of years now. As soon as Bitcoin is worth more than $20k per coin, altcoins will experience new gains across the market. Hopefully, many of the undervalued coins we know and love today would experience massive adoption by people in the mainstream world. Just my opinion :)

I believe that many coins have a minimum capitalization of 50-200 thousand dollars. These thousands of coins are also taken into account in the total cryptocurrency capitalization at the moment.
That's for shitcoin but i believe if a good coin worth more than it considers the fact that the capitalization can be gotten easily. look at kickcoin which was making its capitalization goes to the top 100CMC instantly by doing a small effort. Those crap coins will have very small total capitalization.
