I will recommend everyone not to download the miner as I downloaded it to cross-check it with virus-total and Windows Defender detected and deteled it automatically.

Always stick to miners with reputable developers even though there is a miner fee because they did their hard work by creating such software and everyone deserves to be benefit by their work.

Did you know that all miners detected like virus!? So i recomend to check your not fairy antivirus ;D

enth you are telling a senior member something he is well aware.

either publish the source and let us compile it or you can take your virus with you.  Youve taken anothers source and removed the dev fee....and compiled it and maybe added something bad or not.  But since you have NO REP and are new why should ANYONE trust you.  That is what you seem to be avoiding.

So typical scam/hack if you got no rep no reason to trust.

Default donation 5% (5 minutes in 100 minutes) can be reduced to 1% via option donate-level or disabled in source code.

Yes, you have this option (as with any open source miner), but it doesn't change the validity of my question.

It is open source software. They have their own page with instructions how to compile XMRig by yourself . There are a lot of sources in Internet with explanation how to do it, for instance here for Windows in Russian: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=4292 and here for Ubuntu: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=4255 (for XMRig and CPUminer). Developers of XMRig only ask donation if you compile their miner without devfee. They merit it because XMRig is one of the best. XMRStack and others last time only use their code and take fee from their miners without add something additional to improve the code.

I'm not against compiling XMRig with zero dev fee per se, but I find it unfair for OP to ask for donations to his own address. He should at the very least link to the donations page of XMRig on github or list their XMR address.

I'm mining monero with RagerX which is also free and another edge it has is, it can also boost up the hashrate up to 10%. RagerX is the easiest way to mine monero and other RandomX coins because everything is built-in and ready to go, miners don't have to write anything manually.

Why mess with this to make it free, when you can mine monero with free miner xmr-stak-rx without wasting time on these command lines and setting?

it's true. My 4690k has on xmrig +20h/s than xmr stak

Have you tried mining monero with the fastest monero mining platform RagerX, It can increase hashrate up to 10% and also with this miners don't have to mess with command lines everything is built-in already and ready to go. Can you please take a look at and share your thoughts on it?

I think RagerX(Fastest monero mining platform) is better than Xmrig, why? Because it is easy to use and have built-in features miner don't have to mess with manual writing and the best thing is it can also help to increase hashrate more than 10% for every type of CPU. I only prefer mining monero with RagerX

And it has 3.5% fee, what is the logic behind this fee? MoneroOcean pool has 0% fee, you can mine there with faster and free XMRig without any fees at all (they have their official 0% fee version, called XMRig-MO). Plus, on top of that, MoneroOcean auto-switches to the most profitable coin and pays out in Monero, giving a few % profit boost compared to the regular Monero mining.

And if i have 6 cards for eth and cpu for monero? RagerX is no solution
