Title: Female Bitcoin Investor Study by Grayscale Post by: RooseveltOah on December 10, 2019, 03:15:42 PM The joint study — commissioned by Grayscale and conducted by financial market research firm Q8 research — shows that women represent a significant market for Bitcoin as investors.
63% of female investors appreciate the ability to invest in fractional amounts of Bitcoin (compared to buying a whole coin or a full share of a stock), vs. 56% of male investors. 60% of female investors like the liquidity offered by direct Bitcoin investments, vs. 56% of male investors. More female investors indicated that they lack familiarity with Bitcoin (76% female vs. 52% male investors), but an overwhelming majority of female investors (93%) noted that they could be more open to the asset class if they had more educational resources available to them. Title: Re: Female Bitcoin Investor Study by Grayscale Post by: blckhawk on December 17, 2019, 09:43:43 AM I think this is a duplicate post from here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210183.0 And is already been discussed. Just for me, it doesn't make any sense. First, educational material are almost touches away. They could just type it in Google, and start learning from there. Those for me are just excuses, and them telling they'd be willing to invest on Bitcoin is either, (1) just wants to show off, (2) doesn't want to be judged as not giving attention to long-term investments, or (3) doesn't really know what they're talking about. Agree. I think women today are more business-minded than before since most of them are raised with traditional ways of living. I guess exposure to different kinds of culture empowered them to be more successful. Most of the women I know who are investing in crypto are just lurkers here and there without others knowing that they hold some crypto on their sleeves. Yes, I have to agree with it anyhow that womens make wise selection of profits and also they trade accordingly. Womens can make great profits from the markets only because they are smarter than mens. What do you guys think? Females can actually invest into the assets but they would take maximum care about their investments by making minimum investments, speculating their investments constantly, etc. Females have the ability to function an entire house and this is really a great ability of their's which might even make them financially even more better than male. Title: Re: Female Bitcoin Investor Study by Grayscale Post by: kryptqnick on January 29, 2020, 06:22:48 PM When I tried to access the full report because of how manipulative such data can be, but the website did not let me through for some reason. This "research" could be conducted unprofessionally with a small sample of respondents, pushy questions and other things like that. This is why I would not assess it by taking for granted that it's accurate. As for what's been said here about women being more cautious, I don't think it's related to gender at all. Perhaps, people who take care of children or people who manage households are the ones that are more cautious, and it so happens that the majority of them are women. That, again, brings us to the question about the way this research has been conducted.
Title: Re: Female Bitcoin Investor Study by Grayscale Post by: bearexin on January 30, 2020, 03:39:12 PM That's quite an interesting market research made by Grayscale. I am overwhelmed to see the progress of females over the bitcoin or the cryptocurrency investments. Usually, it is said that the female brain can work more faster as compared to the male brain and hence they might also find better source of investment with better techniques which would gain them immense benefits.
At the current stage, there are pretty less percentage of female investors into the industry but I am sure that the number might surely rise in the coming future. Both male and females are compared equally and hence both should be free to make their investments and gain profits accordingly. It's generally interesting researching. I would like to point out the problem of the lack of educational resources. This problem applies to both women and men! Title: Re: Female Bitcoin Investor Study by Grayscale Post by: MiltonMcClary on January 31, 2020, 03:16:51 PM I'd love to know the age makeup of women versus men, last I remembered the majority of male users were in their late twenties to mid thirties. It's an arguable statement. But if we read about mastering biology at https://studyhippo.com/mastering-biology-chapter-9/ (https://studyhippo.com/mastering-biology-chapter-9/) we can find a lot of facts about our society. Anyway, I don't have a clear answer.I wonder if this carries on over to women and if not then why? |
