Good news!! As pro-crypto supporter got into the Senate, expecting new crypto-friendly regulation passing in the future.

*Big fat calp*

You're late, we have already a discussion about it, This just happened after Bakkt CEO becomes US senator! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5207396.0).

Doesn't change anything though, she is just one head as Senator, and I think majority are still anti-bitcoin to be honest. So I don't see any pro-bitcoin legislature in the next coming years.

Hows does that a step closer to mass adoption? For sure there are politicians out there in many countries in the world who know Bitcoin, even own some, but how does that equate to mass adoption? It does not even mean adoption. Well, a lone voice in the wilderness is still a voice at least. Who knows it might influence some open-minded politicians? But do we still have them today?

This is certainly one of the good news that i have heard today lol. I hope his penetration into the US Senate department would have a good impart on  the adoption of cryptocurrencies. however, let's not forget that these government officials can also win him unto their site further compounding and restricting the use of cryptocurrencies.

Old news! Very Old news!

It doesn't even matter anymore. His appointment never brought any cheers to the market. It has gone down by more than $1000 after he got appointed.

I've seen this thread before, nothing interesting, I haven't felt it is good news to make bitcoin have a better adoption in the future, everyone hopes this news will make this new senator can make many adoptions, I will say it great if it really happened

We are all hoping that this new USA senator can be the voice of cryptocurrency industry in the halls of the government law-making arena. She can easily present the side of the industry in many issues and this comes at a critical time when the government is thinking of regulating this industry more in return for recognizing the business it is bringing to the economy. We are hoping that soon more and more politicians can be crypto-friendly.
