Title: [OUT]| Smerit monthly giveaway | Concentrating on Alternative Main & subboard.

Just for clarification, alt means alternative subboard (i.e the altcoins boards) and yes someone is interested in rewarding quality discussion (hopefully) on that board 😁. This thread will be used to identify users easily, who're contributing positively through discussion to the forum on the alternative subboard. The quality of post are subjected to my judgement as only posts that are above the average in my opinion will be considered eligible to receive merits.

The rules and guidelines are quite simple;

You can only submit link to 2 personal posts weekly.
You can also submit 2 link per submission to post of other (different) users daily (not mandatory, but rewardable)
Users caught cheating will be excluded from recieving this giveway privilege and might be detrusted plus left a neutral feedback of dishonesty.
Although there's no rank barrier, accounts created after this thread was recently bumped (23/08/2020) will be restricted from participating to prevent users trying to cheat with alts.
inactive (recently woke up) accounts are prohibited from participating in this giveway. (Eligible accounts must have been actively posting within last 1 month prior to link submission)

Note 1: The awarding of merit will be distributed throughout each month and not in just 1 or 2weeks assuming there's numerous applicants.

Note 2: Mostly posts made in english are eligible with exception to few.

Note 3: Starting threads (topics) on the alternative board just to profit from this giveway is highly frownd at although newly created informative (quality) replies are welcomed.

PS: Smerit rewards might be awarded to the post of submission but earned smerit will be awarded to the initial post and not post of link submission.

Local rule: No offtopic discussion as such will be deleted.

Hint: just keep contributing positively on the alt subsection, "I'll back😉"

Good initiative by the way. Most high rank members here have ignored the Altcoins board already.

It seems like this is a very good effort to appreciate the writings of people who are knowledgeable in the altcoin discussion field.

But are you sure enough to receive a different user post link?
Doesnt that cause you to be overwhelmed when there are enough reported user links for you to check. There may be a similar link between their reports if the reporter does not check the posting link that has been reported to you before.

Yes of course, personal posts are limited to 2 weekly while post from others are limited to to 2 daily. Eligible posts aren't limited to just started topics but replies are also welcomed.

On checking the altcoin discussion you can find post being started recently. This merit giveaway is a good incitement to get people contributing to that part of the forum but the rules should be enforced to stop unnecessary spamming and bumping on that board it has so much of that already.

It is good that you decided to include this rule! It is similar to what I have in my thread. It prevents users from cheating and it doesn't create incentive to spam and subsequently report posts in your thread expecting merits.

Lets see what the Altcoin boards have to offer in terms of post quality.

I have to admit that I am more of a commenter than a poster and it's probably one of the reasons why I haven't ranked up in a very long time but it's one of my new year resolutions to change this, maybe I could be a Hero member before the end of 2020.

I am not really a quality poster OP but I would like it for you to reconsider it. Even if brainboss set a rule for rank barrier it still a good deed even if it's a small amount of smerit but it is still called reward.
