Reported. Awards are crazy, c/p from YT

Quote
If you send 1 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 10 000 XRP back.
If you send 5 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 50 000 XRP back. +10% bonus
If you send 10 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 100 000 XRP back. +20% bonus
If you send 50 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 500 000 XRP back. +30% bonus
If you send 100 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 1 000 000 XRP back +40% bonus
If you send 1 000 000 XRP, you will be airdropped 10 000 000 XRP back +50% bonus

And this is cherry on top
Quote
If you send in 1 000 000 + XRP  , you will get the Grand Prize: a fully customized Tesla 3 model, delivery included, color of your choice (including currently unavailable Obsidian Black & Metallic Silver!). DM us on Twitter if you did that and we will organize the delivery as soon as possible.
If you have any problem follow our online chat

But i guess that these kind of obvious scams are still working, otherwise they wouldn't do them.

They really put an effort to make it real although I really doubt someone will still fall on this. Even the feedbacks are obviously manipulated.

I can't believe that the channel itself lasted for 2 years.

Reported the channel as well. Hoping for account termination.

It is insane how Youtube and theirt infamous algorithm are doing nothing to stop this scam video campaign.
Recently I reported a bunch of similar video channels in scam accusations:

During 2019, there were some cases of XRP airdrop scams. Be careful of these scams, they may be created by a group of scammers. I am afraid that they are serial scammers. They may create not only XRP airdrops, but also airdrops for other top altcoins.

Other cases:
1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo_Nj0ESN-A
2. https://twitter.com/alexcobb_/status/1179424542034399238

Anyway, I think this thread will be better to move on Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0).
Or you can put on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210923.0 (Baofeng).

http://www.airdropxrp.com/

They opened a thread to promote this in the Marketplace section as an Airdrop: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210996.0

You could also add this guy --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210996.0

He made a thread of "XRP giveaway" but look at his trust feed.

This user already put up another video

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaRgPsdSHXztk1sxtr_QCaQ

I hoped Youtube is more harsh, but it seems all they care is
about users violating copyright claims

A basic rule of airdrop is that you get them for free. If there is a condition of sending X amount first, then it is not an Airdrop. Its a scam.
Secondly, some people ask for private key in order to send an airdrop, that's even a bigger scam that we should be aware of.

I see that the video has been removed but could not find the channel. It does not display the channel. I am sure as long as he has the channel with people subscribed, he can again publish a scam airdrop or any other scam project related to crypto. I hope he get punished by getting his channel deleted.

They first targeted our email then telegram channel then posting it here in Bitcointalk, now they are on Youtube now, hoping Youtubers will fall on this, I hope Youtubers are more wiser because all the information are within their reach and they will know or already know that this is a scam offer.

Not only the channel is up but he has deleted that video on OP and re-uploaded it so its url is changed. Its time to report this youtube video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFDp5mFDvr4 so it gets removed too. Also i am surprised to see only 1 video in the channel and subscribers are above 11K. How is that possible ?

Youtube doesn't know if there is scam being advertised in the video. They won't remove it themselves unless is reported.

Also we need to report the channel and not the individual video if you want the whole channel to be closed. Here is how it is done.

Quote
You can report users, inappropriate background images, or inappropriate profile avatars using the reporting flow located on the bottom of every channel.
-Sign in to YouTube.
-Go to the channel page you want to report.
-Click About.
-Click the flag drop down.
Select the option that best suits your issue.

Most probably incentivized his viewers of bought loads of fake subscribers to pass his channel off as legit.

this is going on on youtube for years. there are also binance giveaways, coinbase...etc

They buy a stolen yt channel, spam telegram and that's it. if you check their addresses they make over 50.000$ per day

In addition, those crypto scam marketers are the worst (e.g. T James). Pity those who followed them in investing in some shady scheme.

Earned from traffic sites or bought to artificially boost their appearance of being successful. This is why numbers mean nothing. They do not lead to sales or anything. It is just an inflated number. Only actually sale leads count. YOu can have 10million views but if no one does anything you make zero. I didn't even get to see the youtube channel to go have a laugh at it. I am glad you guys reported it and it is already down the user removed the video may be to move it elsewhere after their failed attempt to scam.

If a youtube channel has a lot of subscribers either real or fake, the new user who visit the channel/video first time will feel that this is a legal channel where there are so many subscriber and anything publish on it will not be a scam. Some newbie can be fooled by this too, so these scammers needs a lot of subscribers to make their scam a real effective one.

YouTube does detect such anomaly and terminate them, but the process will be quicker if the user reports too.

The most funniest of it all. So many bounty hunters are using multiple accounts for it, hoping that they'll earn big with the airdrop. Do hope it's true, so that they will all be dissapointed badly. Unfortunate for those who has hyped and hoped on it for their breakthrough

For sure there would be some who are fools on believing such scam even how hard we do warn them on the risk.
For bounty hunters they wont lose nothing even they would have multiple accounts.
By the way the video is already down.

'fool' is a strong word, newbie would suit better. Not every one of them is aware of warnings posted here.

They do not have time to check the credibility of the words spoken by people in all videos. They mainly deal with copyrights and react to fraudsters probably only when they are informed by the police. Unfortunately..

Impossible, if they could flag thousands of "copyrighted" videos and dish out strikes.

Previously there was a scam channel reported on this forum which was terminated.

I don't think a few votes are enough to close the channel. I think either they need more votes or they need more time for verification.
