Happy New Year everyone!

To engage the community even more and as a token of appreciation to all the Indian forum members who are making this board a delightful place to stay even during the adverse Bitcoin conditions prevailing in India, I would like to launch these Raffles which will run for the whole year in terms of monthly events.

Raffle :

1. This is a pretty simple and quite interesting game, where there would be 16 spots from 0-9 and a-f. Each person should pick one character and post in the reply of this topic along with their bitcoin address.

2. Once all the 16 spots are filled, I will choose one single future block to be mined. For instance person X has chosen 'f' as their spot and I have chosen block #610750. Here the hash of the block #610750 is 0000000000000000000e7027f650de1e79d76cbe93f385d8032f7766df080f6f which determines that f is the winning character.

3. The person who has chosen the correct character wins the prize amount of 0.001BTC (Please note that 0.001BTC is kinda cheaper but in terms of our economy it costs around 500 INR which is much better)

As per rules, they are mostly the same as followed in the speculation game topic

Rules :

1. Raffles are strictly restricted only to Indian forum members. If you are someone outside India or hailing from nearby countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan or Sri Lanka, you are not allowed to participate in the raffle.

2. Previous Raffle Winners cannot participate in the upcoming raffles for 6 months. Let us give others a chance to win some bitcoins. You can consider this 6 months as a cooling period like if some X has won the raffle in January, they can participate only in the August Raffle.
This rule is applicable for Speculation Game winner as well. Our local community is so small such that I have reduced the period to 6 months. If in future, we rise up to one of the most populated local boards I might change the rule such that the raffle winners cannot participate in the upcoming raffle for over a year.

3. There are 16 spots and only 1 slot per person is allowed and more importantly I cannot give you any random spots. Once I have updated the slot in OP, there is no changing of slot numbers. Please see to the filled spots in OP/ have an eye on picked up spots by others before posting your slot number in reply.

4. Newbies are allowed to participate, but you shouldn't have made your first post in this topic and You might have been a old guy but isn't really an active poster.

5. This topic is only for playing the game and all the other discussions and doubts regarding the raffle or future game ideas should be posted only in the Indian Raffle Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5213474.0) topic.

6. Bounty Hunters are not allowed to participate in the raffle. Even though if you are from India, the board doesn't need bounty hunters who are chiming here only for profits or earning money from this forum.

Based on Melloiga's previous post, they do seem to be a promising poster in Indian board. Welcome and let's try to change our local board to one among the better local boards prevailing here already. Just wanted to show my support in this initiative. This thread just stumbled in-front of me and it's a great initiative to bring a community together. Hello ragavancoin, Thank You for showing interest in participating. Since you were the winner of Speculation Game your month for re-entering the raffle is on June 2020. We are quite a small community and hence I have implemented this rule, as everyone of us will get a spot in these limited slot raffles.

Thank You very much for supporting this initiative Royse777. This board and with the community has been long dormant and with the government playing a bad move in minimizing the usage of cryptocurrencies, the whole board was quite inactive and was dominated with spammers. These raffles are a way to bring additional interest in the community and we would like to thank micg for donating the amount to the escrow and thereby making these raffles even more interesting.

Thank You for being quite generous and helping us. As of now, we have sufficient funds to run the raffles for over a year and if we are in need at the end of December 2020, you can help us with this. That's quite a difficult job to be honest. There are Indian board posters which everyone of us here are aware of but if someone new jumps into this board/raffle topic out of nowhere I would be going through their post history which might reveal their country or the language they speak. We conducted Speculation Game (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198960.0) a month back for celebrating the 10th bitcointalk anniversary and there were other country shitposters trying to join the game and to weed out profits. I can speak some very basic Español but that doesn't make me a guy hailing from Spanish background and that's how these work actually.  ;D
