Title: Where will Bitcoin cost this year?
Post by: aliijaz12560 on January 07, 2020, 09:50:23 AM
Last year, the price of bitcoin had dropped drastically. If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well. In countries where crypto currencies are banned, the price of bitcoin may still be very high if the currency goes down this year.

I cant make any comments when it comes about being banned in other countries yet it wont be a valid reason for it to affect its price as a whole.
Regarding on the question on what would be the cost of BTC before this year ends?

No on actually knows yet this market had been very unpredictable since from the beginning. Some analysis do even give out 6 digits price of this year knowing that halving even is approaching but it isnt still an assurance for the market to react with that.

If in such a market movement then I am sure this will redeem the price of 20,000 and altcoin will also follow suit and be worth it again like in 2017.
I don't know which country bans bitcoin but many countries are friendly with bitcoin because countries will adopt blockchain technology in their economies.
I'm sure the price of bitcoin will be high this year at least 15,000.

Banned or not banned, the price of Bitcoin will remain the same (not affected) cause it doesn't depend on specific country. Well, honestly $20K is a very high price for this year and I don't think Bitcoin will reach that price by the end of this year, but surely higher than current price.

Last year, the price of bitcoin had dropped drastically.

2019 open: $3,700
2019 close: $7,200

Not too bad of a drop....

Despite the different price structures, I think Q1-Q2 2016 is a good parallel for where the market is today. I'm optimistic for bulls in 2020. I think a test of the 2017 ATH is in the cards by the end of the year.

If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well.

Yes, after a bloody couple years I think altcoins are going to have a major resurgence. XMR showed massive strength recently, ~36% gains in the past few days. It's definitely one to watch as we approach the next alt season. I'm also watching Cosmos (ATOM) which performed incredibly well during the last few months of BTC bear market.

No it didn't. You are only looking to the middle months of the year but never considered how much the gain was for 2019. In reality, that was an amazing run and year for me. As extasie has pointed, bitcoin doubled by the end of the year although we've reached $13,000+ and that was a good year, right?

If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well. In countries where crypto currencies are banned, the price of bitcoin may still be very high if the currency goes down this year.
We're seeing the pattern again right now. If bitcoin rises again, the alts will come together as we can see to the market again. I think about the restriction of cryptos in a country doesn't really affect the prices except the case from Iran.

I don't know which country is banning it, but with the increase at the beginning of this month it has proven to be slowly increasing for bitcoin, the price of 20000 could have been reached after seeing moves like this and altcoin might also be able to rise to a better level.
Maybe this year can reach $ 20k at the end of the year or even more if there is a lot of demand from new investors.

I expect the price to at least touch 10k this year. We can get rejected again and fall down looking for a bottom, maybe in the 7 thousands, but the positive news of the halving and increasing mining power and google searches will for sure make some money enter the space in the coming months.
My prediction is that we won't reach a new ATH this year, but will be trading at higher price range than in the autumn/winter 2019. Probably the majority of trading will be done between 8 k and 11k USD.

There's a possibility of altcoin joining the bullrun of BTC, but it's kinda small since most of the traders would have their eyes on BTC, since if a bullrun ever occurs, BTC would be the one giving out the most profit out of it. Also, even if currency goes down, that doesn't necessarily mean that BTC would go up. Countries that banned crypto would require traders to go to a foreign country and convert their fiat to the country they went to, basically using the fiat of the said country to trade.

Also, a $3k start and a $7k end, where was the drop exactly? I mean, yes, ATH last year was around $13k, but considering the entire year, it's still a price increase tbh. I see no reason to describe it as "Drastically dropped".

Price is almost is almost reaching on that figure and as of now we hit the $8.5k mark so anytime of this month or in following months provably we can see even more and maybe we can see for this year that the price would come to $15k since provably in next year we can provably see the real effect of the halving.

$ 20k sounds cheap for the current price of bitcoin, of course it will be very easy to travel the price of $ 20k this year, but I can't guarantee that all altcoins will follow the rise of bitcoin even though it dominates the crypto market, it looks like there will be lots of cryptos going bankrupt and altcoin is closed due to losing investors and their traders this year, bitcoin dominance will be higher than before, there will still be an increase in the next few weeks, don't want to talk too much about bitcoin prices let alone fiat currencies  ;D

Already the market has started showing the signs of improvements as most of the altcoins as well as bitcoin's value have increased and I feel we are up for $20000 this year if the value if bitcoin touches $10000 within this month as crypto I feel like I am back in October 2017 when the last bull run started. Let's see where this will lead us. But this time we must refrain from investing when the value reached the peak.

USDT. That is the wall that separates bitcoin and altcoin by now.

Instead of people selling bitcoin (let us say $20k) in exchange for an altcoin it will be USDT on the go.  ;D
It sounds really bad but that is how crypto market is now. It ain't like before that it will boost the market of one altcoin into where bitcoin was sold.
They are a stand alone coin and not being dragged by each other anymore. Sorry for that.

Did the price decrease drastically? We ended the year with twice of what we had at the start of the year. I don't know why you measure it with mid-year end-year if you're gonna point it out as "last year" if you're just gonna describe the mid-end year. Also, I doubt Altcoin would increase with BTC increase, but there have been news that the altcoin has bottomed out recently, and there may be a possibility that it's going to pump before BTC pumps, with how BTC takes literally everything else from traders and altcoins are just in the side after all.

I see a few days bitcoin has increased quite a bit and it will slowly grow to follow current market trends, even as I know bitcoin had touched $ 8300 it means that bitcoin will immediately redeem the price that has been wanted from the holder or investor.
I also believe that bullrun will continue to come in years so there are many polemics about market trends that are still being debated, but I'm happy to see bitcoin going up, but altcoin hasn't revealed an overall increase.

Basically since the presence of Bitcoin until now there are still many pros and cons and even forbid the existence of cryptocurrency trading activities in several countries. But until now also Bitcoin still exists and the price is still fluctuating so it cannot be determined at what price Bitcoin in the future.

I do not think that the reason for the rise of Bitcoin prices in some banned countries is related to the cryptocurrency effect, but because of the fluctuation of the value of the local currency or the existence of two exchange rates, as many of these countries are exposed to economic crises.
Many people expect an increase for one reason, which is a decrease in the quantity supplied, but this quantity will not increase the price unless the demand increases.

I still don't want to expect that bitcoin will reach $20k again this year but if that happens then I will sell all my bitcoin, and I think this is a good time to buy if you are expecting that much this year. Buying bitcoin to invest today will be a great investment you can have this year if you think that bitcoin will reach that much again.

It is normal that bitcoin will continue to fluctuate because we do have a lot of traders and investors. But if what people are expecting is the bitcoin halving effect then they have to wait and extend their patience so that they will taste the bull run price.

There is no certainty that the price of Altcoin will increase if Bitcoin price increases this year. However, what might drag the price of Altcoin to increase is if the coins are purchased more.
Moreover, we ain't even sure if the price of Bitcoin will reach 20k this year, but it's good to be positive though.

if the price of bitcoin rises, the price of an altcoin can be ascertained, but just seeing the development of bitcoin in 2019 makes me rethink that the price of bitcoin can be dominantly greater than the price of altcoin again.
I quite believe that the price of bitcoin can reach prices exceeding the price of $ 15000 after halving occurs, because of that I am very enthusiastic to collect bitcoin.

Have moment halving two months later maybe bitcoin price little higher price in this year and I brave for predicting bitcoin price grow up above $16k, I think most realistic price for bitcoin can back to higher price with halving effect where many investor become very interested for investing in bitcoin, maybe just my ideas about bitcoin price in this year.

I hope price of altcoin can follow bitcoin price when it's pumped. Because altcoin is really depends on their developers and hope people not sell their altcoins to be bitcoin so they can sell it in high price. Bitcoin and altcoin price will be good if pumped together, of course only good altcoins will pump follow bitcoin price.

It creates a good reaction to the prices of the alts since they are relying on the value of bitcoins and we see that on the other halving times already so might this scenario will happen again once there's a bull trend happened with bitcoins. But I don't expect for immediate pump when halving came but I really hope we can surpass to the $15000 since if this figure will be break might we will see another good sightings of new ATH.

We don't know if bitcoin can rise to $20k by the end of this year or not, but one thing that we can do now is buying as much bitcoin as we can, so when that time comes, we can sell bitcoin at that price. And for the altcoin, if bitcoin price can rise to that price, the altcoin will follow to increase. That country will see that bitcoin can allow its people to make money, and maybe their government will considering to open the prohibition to use bitcoin so their people can take the benefits of bitcoin too.

To be honest every coin depends on the improvement the developers make and that is the case with bitcoin too, none of the coins can claim that it can be used as a global currency right now because of the scaling issues we had and we really need improvement on that aspect and that been said the alt coin market depend on the bitcoin market valuation and we can expect a trend reversal by the end of this year.

yes, of course only potential Altcoin is able to keep up with the price of bitcoin when pumped. some other altcoins that are not able to be developed by each project owner will only be stable coins and some of them will probably only become shitcoin

I am agree with $20000, actually if halving come and btc price pumped, maybe my target is between $15000 until $20000 and in that price i will sell my bitcoin and hope not missed moment like last ATH again. In last ATH i am not get highest price but sell my coins little by little.

Banned or not banned, the price of Bitcoin will remain the same (not affected) cause it doesn't depend on specific country. Well, honestly $20K is a very high price for this year and I don't think Bitcoin will reach that price by the end of this year, but surely higher than current price.
$ 20,000 is a dreamed price in 2020, but I think it's possible. We have entered the year of 2020 in a wonderful way when bitcoin has increased quite well so everyone can expect the bitcoin price to rise to $ 20,000 by the end of 2020.
If by the end of 2020 bitcoin could not rise to $ 2000, perhaps by the beginning of 2021 it would.

Bitcoin will above $20k after halving time and become above $30k at the end of this year, don't worry many time after halving bitcoin always have higher price and many people unbelievable with bitcoin could raise with higher price, I keep hold my bitcoin from now until halving and re investing how bitcoin price way after halving.

First of all nowadays after seeing the bleeding cryptocurrency market. I don't trust that altcoins will boom again when the Bitcoin raising. May be we can find BTC and ETH alone growing bigger.
After few months we can expect the bitcoins value like how you feel, but no altcoins.

Last year? Don't you mean the year before that which is 2018? Because last 2019 we actually ended an 18 month long bear market and we managed to go up as high as 14,000$ before reaching that we went from 3,000$ to 8,000$ very quickly during that year and it had signaled the end of a bear market. The price  correction we are seeing now are a new signs of a bear market and even though we are now in the 8k mark I wouldn't say we are still ready or is it possible to go up that high today. Still things could change once we are near BTC's halving.

If BTC increases, altcoins will not remain calm this time. Long term prospects will explode this time. Did you pay attention to altcoins in recent small increases? Since yesterday, LTC has risen by almost 15% and ETH has risen by more than 10%. This is evidence of how hungry they are and what they can do. I believe that if BTC touches better price this time, we will see it in altcoins as well.

Unless something incredible happens people should not really think about getting to 20000 I think that if we are lucky we could see bitcoin reaching 14000 again as we did during the last year with the difference that this time we are not going to see the crash that followed, still I believe it may be too soon for the price of bitcoin to grow that much during this year and that the whales will try to keep the price in check just so they can buy even more of it.

They already answered, no one knows where the price will land at the end of this year. The thing that is sure is that in the incoming halving it would have a significant effect however we ain't certain yet if it would be hooking up the market or would drag down. I am not quite sure in such countries where bitcoin is banned, but I do think they will got the same market price.
