Title: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next?
Post by: Questat on January 07, 2020, 11:04:49 AM
Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?

Staying above $7,000 is fine with Bitcoin, especially if we will maintain above $8,000. And if we break the 2019 yearly high before the block halving, that could be a possible a bullish for long term.
What I am worrying is the short term fall below $7,000. But, still thinking positive, let's do this and kick those bears!

It has a good chance to defend the 8000... for now. But there's less than 3 weeks until the Chinese New Year, so I don't expect the euphoria last too long.

I would say that the next move for bitcoin would be staying around $8k.  It's nice that it got there and all, but it could just be typical market volatility and not the start of the next bull run.

For some reason it seems like it's been a really long time since bitcoin was at $8k, but it's only been a couple of months at most.  I took a look at a 1-year price chart yesterday, and bitcoin was at that level in November.  I don't know why, but it really feels like we've been stuck in the $6600-7400 range for quite some time.

Bitcoin reaching $8,000 is really good tho but will it sustain its price and won't go back to 7000 that the question before we ask what's next.
is this the bull run we are long waiting?
Bitcoin price going up is not always a sign of bull run we all have been waiting for years now. This price pump is just a common and unexpected thing we experience almost every month.

Still more to see in bitcoin just now it starts and reached $8k and before bitcoin having we can expect more maybe it possible to reach bitcoin price $10000 and above.

But we have to understand the what situation on going between USA and Iran because it will also going to give some positive movements in bitcoin because investors finding alternatives ways to safe their investments so they can choose crypto currencies.

I would love to stay bitcoin for $8k for quite some time so we can say that the price has really recovered.

With this small run, I hope people would not right away think that we are already in a bull run because most likely we will again be victims of trap or a pump and dump game. Personally, I don't know the reason behind this run, but I am happy with this development early this year.

I am not yet sure if this can mean that the big bull run we are waiting for is already knocking at the door. I am attributing this to the conflict between the USA and Iran (though some might argue this) but when this factor will be losing the steam there is still that possibility that it can even go as low as $6,000. Let's hope that this can be holding on and together with the influence of the halving Bitcoin can go beyond the $10,000 mark.

It's good that we broke $8000 (for a little while). But don't you think that since the trading volume is so low, the price could be extremely volatile, like possibly now?

It could be a long season of bullish trend, and for me, the tension between US and Iran now is quite serve as the fuel to start to bullish move in relation to the bitcoin halving that we are'll waiting for. Though, I couldn't confirm it as the increase in market price is quite fast, I am expecting it could fall as well with the same rate.

I glad that finally, the bitcoin price can touch $8000. I believe that we will have time to see another higher price, but we need to be patient because the price still trying to reach a higher rate. Maybe it will happen tomorrow, or the next week, we don't know, but I am sure that the price will increase higher. So congratulations if you already make a profit from the increasing of the bitcoin price.

Looks like it still isn't. And I expect another crash. This would be a short-lived high and we might crash back again to $7,500 or lower. The halving is still far from us. The bull run might start late-March. Though there's still the possibility of a bull run, the price spike is quite narrow and a possible large market player is on the move, but would have it dump once more before we have the bull run.

That is the main question. For this sudden pump, there is no wonder that the next thing to happen on bitcoin price is to drop so suddenly. There is always a huge dump after every sudden pump.

is this the bull run we are long waiting?

Yes, this might be only because of the good things that happened in bitcoin previously or there is someone really trying to pump it, but this is still far from bull run.

I have read a article the other day where they said the last 5 years Bitcoin always went up at the start of januari.
And then went down later in januari.

Here is the twitter post where the article was based on.

https://twitter.com/SalsaTekila/status/1211695710007156740/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1211695710007156740&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newsbtc.com%2F2020%2F01%2F01%2Fwhy-analysts-think-9000-bitcoin-price-january-possible%2F (https://twitter.com/SalsaTekila/status/1211695710007156740/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1211695710007156740&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newsbtc.com%2F2020%2F01%2F01%2Fwhy-analysts-think-9000-bitcoin-price-january-possible%2F)

So based on what it has been doing the last 5 years we could see the price pump a little bit more only to go down after that.
But at the end of the year the price is always higher so dont worrie  :)

Good start from bitcoin at the early new year and I hope its price will be higher again in the next mont. Seeing an information on this day that the South Korea has gave a regulation to make it easier to launch bitcoin product, see here for the further information https://decrypt.co/15990/government-body-wants-bitcoin-listed-on-korea-exchange

Basically, this kind of information will give a sustainable affect for the price of bitcoin in the future. And I'll be sure that the $8000 will be the new support for its price. More than that, the another information such as Iran which has gave an increased price a few days ago and I'm sure there will be many people who considered that bitcoin is another safe haven in field of investment.

We are just starting and we should just take it easy. It's a good start for us that it's slowly increasing to $8,000. What's next? Probably more expectation to maintain the price and increase even more. If it ever went down, let's not get disappointed because I think that's fine. But what's happening right now maybe is a sign for an upcoming bull run. So we gotta prepare.

It's gonna be interesting what will happen in the next 24 hours. Will the price be sustainable at that level, or people will look at it as an opportunity to make money again and make a sell-off. We are not yet in any bull run and there could be manipulation from behind again with this kind of gain in a day. So let's see how it goes, not expecting that the price will defend its position though, in my opinion.

I hope so.
To zipper the mouths of those analysts wannabe's.  ;D
Maybe just a little run will be okay.

The halving will be like 3-4 months so I think that is still far away from now. Just for me.
But there might something going on with group of investors.
Yeah, they say there will be not much movement. But should we believe that? It could just be a bait for their own profit.
This could be the start of it.
FOMO's will come again.

Since bitcoin has remained steady at 7000$ for several months, I have known that the bull market has begun. We are currently in the first phase of bull run in 2020 and the next milestone I am expecting is that bitcoin will rise to 10000$ or even more. I hope in Q3 2020 Bitcoin can break with ATH again because Halving is coming and more investors are coming to this market than ever before.

There is but it's more of a rumor and the other one is the halving.

The rumor is about the war that's about to happen which being said to impact bitcoin positively. The next one is the approaching halving, everybody is looking forward on it and positive sentiment is coming towards to bitcoin. Everyone just want to have it before the reduction of block reward comes.

Because the result of it will make mining bitcoin more expensive.

Price of bitcoin now are just increase and decrease maybe theirs some hype happening now thats why price of bitcoin increases to $ 8000. I think price of bitcoin will dump again to $7,500 - $7,900.

Because there's a lot of fud will happen especially that big whales wants to buy cheap bitcoin maybe they will create more fud.

Im not sure about the reason of this uptrend but its nice starting the year 2020 thinking positively due to the current status of the market.

This might be another scene of how the market works as high volatile so better not to expect too much.

I think this is related to halving and investors are accumulating btc before it started.

With each news that spreading especially the war from US and Iran there's significance that wealthy people from middle east who wanted to keep
their money are using this chain as diversions, not really sure but the possibilities are there.  Bitcoin is moving upwards and the chance is much higher
to keep its position and find a good barrier.

Actually touching $8,000 shouldn't be a big deal, at least for now. Yes, growth is growth and that's somehow erased the thinking that we may not see a good run within the early phase of the year but all we need to do is to just allow the process to goes through and see what will happen next.

In other words, "don't expect".

Is this the start of the bull run that the majority are waiting for? No one knows. Just continue to accumulate whatever the trend is.

It's a good start for the year and may still be the best time to buy bitcoin before the bull. This is basically the correction of last dump and we would see the price rising in the months of March, April and May. I don't expect the price to reach $10K before March as the market has too many resistance around that price.

Bitcoin is rapidly increasing right now and at the last 24 hrs it almost reach around $8,000 and that brought the speculations of many people and there are so many speculations who are waiting until on it because if we touch on that price there is a huge possibility that the bitcoin may go until $8,800 and $9,000 so it may really triggered the bitcoin bullishness due to the rapidly increasing of it. Beholding the bitcoin halving there is really a possible that this is what we are waiting for too long the bullish and the rocket of the bitcoin on this year. We are hoping and waiting to its continues increasing until the next 24 hours.

Nobody can answer this with 100 % certainty.

Personally, I'd have no problem if it just hovered (or had small gains here and there) around the 8k mark  for months or even a couple of years before we see it exploding to a new ath. The longer it's stable the more I will be able to accumulate after all! However, I feel that after these two long years the psychology of the market has started to change and more and more people think it will start to go up. Which means more people will start buying again. Plus the halvening is near so imo there is a good chance we see a new ATH this year. And with the stock market bubble getting bigger and bigger, I am sure many investors will take a profit and some of that profit will hopefully flow into the cryptomarkets! So all in all, I am not sure if 2020 is the new 2017. But I think it's gonna be a good year!

Oh well, time will tell!

Let us wait if this can be sustained. If it can, my guess is it can be a start of a parabolic curve but if not, it is just another twitch on the price and will soon return to just above 7K.

In other words, "don't expect".
This one got it right. Continue what you are doing and we can revisit this when we reach maybe 9-10K.

Bitcoin is a volatile currency. Price can hike as well as dump to any extend. We can't predict what can happen next but each time whenever bitcoins go on peak, they also dump the same so perhaps bitcoins might touch $7500 again and then it might start growing again. We might be entering bull run as 8000 was a target and once it is reached most of the whales are now waiting for the next target to reach. Once bitcoin hits next target, price can be hiked more. But we can't predict the bull runs until and unless bitcoins crosses atleast $10k which seems a bit difficult at the current situation. Let's hope that the price remains constant and crosses $9k soon so that we can then expect the bull markets.

we just touched it , but the resistance at 7800$ seems to be strong enough to not let it break through > 8k for now
it is pointless to predict bitcoin price , but everyone is waiting for a miracle run to happen , forget about the six figures
five figures would be awesome , especially if you take the coming halving into account
this year should see bitcoin get in the 10k area and , hopefully grow from there
for now we should be happy if it stays in the 6.000-8.000 corridor , gives plenty of opportunities to buy and a good profit for the traders

That's a good news for all of us who are waiting for bitcoin to be bullish back again.

However, we can't be sure if it will continue to rise as it could fall back again like what happen in the past, this isn't new to us, the price is so unstable and we can't be too confident that we are going to the market that we are hoping.. honestly, I have a mix feeling now, quite hesitant due to the past price movement I witnessed but I just have to be happy because once again the entire marketcap is back at over $200 billion.

It is hard to tell what will happen next since the market is really hard to predict. The only thing we could do is to wait and let us hope that what is currently happening will continue, but we should not expect too much. The possibility that the price might drop its price again is still high.

At last something's happening, but it is possible that it was just a bull trap - Bitstamp is showing $7800 currently. A long period without significant price increases causes some to take the opportunity to profit (buyers who buy under $ 7000), and yet, on the other hand, some may think that the bull run has started and will start buying. I think it's just a matter of whether the whole thing weighs on the bear side or the bull side.

Personally, I think it's too early for any pre-halving effect, and that nothing important will happen before March or April, but the cryptocurrency market is one of the most unpredictable. The price is still good for investment, and I will point out once again that everything under $10 000 is actually cheap, of course, if you share the belief that Bitcoin is still far from reaching its full potential.

The recent movement of Bitcoin is an show that it is in a bullish run right now although I don't want to expect too  much on it because anything can happen on it.

What I want to see right now is staying about the $8k mark at the end of the week so that we can confirm that we are in a bull run already. Pulse momentum of it is turning from downside to upside already and the resistance which is around $7760 has been broken and it also broke the trend line. A good sign but just always ready.

What's next is that we wait and hope it doesn't fall back below that. No one can predict what will happen to the market value of bitcoin. It rises and fall.
I'd have said we  believe it wouldn't fall but then there was a bullish rise in the price of bitcoin towards the end of 2017. Bitcoin rose to more than $15,000 and so many speculations came out saying bitcoin is going to remain that way,  rising steadily. However, early 2018, there was a sharp decline in the price and it's just about going up. Hopefully, it will.

I think this is the beginning of the bull run that we are all waiting for. It may look like a slow rise of btc but this is gonna keep on increasing over the time until the end of halving or next year. There is a huge possibility that btc will hit another all time high again this year.

The price could go much higher and maybe by the month of March the price could be at $15,000 it will be just depend on the whales and investor if they will not take the bait of FUDs since it is spreading like a fire once they created a fake nees on crypto community.

And we all know that a lot known person already predicted the price of bitcoin this year 2020 so we might expect an increase of market flow and hopefully it happens.

It is amazing how people continue to believe these crazy predictions of Bitcoin price DOUBLING in a month or two.   How many times will people here fall for the same so obviously wrong predictions ?

Fool me once, shame on you.   Fool me twice, same on me 🙈🙈🙈🙈

There are some smart people here that I respect, even though they may disagree with me on where bitcoin price is going.  But I have zero respect for the utterly stupid cult like believers that use nothing but the emotion of GREED to embrace anything that agrees with what they WANT to believe, and ignore reality.  There are the type of fools that no one should ever listen to or take advice from.

And we all know that a lot known person already predicted the price of bitcoin this year 2020 so we might expect an increase of market flow and hopefully it happens.
the potential for bitcoin price movements this year is quite a lot of good speculation, because most research talks that bitcoin can return to a bullish trend again after passing halving. plus the price of bitcoin has now gone up even though in a small percentage, I hope this year will benefit many people.

What's next is to go up. Going back down a few hundreds wouldn't make much of a difference but probably give an opportunity for others to buy more of the dip. How much more up or down is anyone's guess.

If we will notice usually every first month of every year the demand for Bitcoin is increasing rapidly, there's a lot of buyer during January as people are starting to accumulate again, but let's still keep closer what will be happen next in the coming days if it will continue to rise and stabilize or the whale are just playing the market again.

I think we can only really get some serious perspective by looking at long-term price charts on a log scale.

Linear is no good, it just reduces old price movements to an inconsequential smear. For Bitcoin on a linear scale, anything before early 2017 seems irrelevant... but it's really not. We need to see these earlier movements to get a fuller appreciation of how bitcoin price behaves.

On a log scale ('all time' on CMC, from 2013 to now), the cycle of bulls and bears resolves into a general upwards movement. I don't know about anyone else, but to me the historical pattern seems quite clear, and shows that $8k is not a huge deal. The upwards movement of recent days is of course encouraging, but in a wider context it means little. If in the short-term we drop to $5-6k or rise to $10k, it's not a big deal, the trend remains upwards.

Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?

The usual things/routine, people making predictions of the next bull run and creating threads like this. This is not the first time the market value of price hit $8k and its not gonna be the last time there will be an increase in its value. You as an investor or a daily trader just need to know and understand the patterns at which the market value of bitcoin changes.

Holding above 8000$ is harder than what we think. Especially when the Chinese New Year is near and it will be a dip again. My best bet would be staying above 7800$ which was a resistance previously. We may see a good support accumulating at 7600$ mark and need to stay above that in order to get slingshot in future.

In my owm opinion, maybe bitcoin will just stay to $8000+ for a month just like what happened when it's priced reach to $7000. Maybe it will take a little longer for bitcoin to reach it's price to $10,000 again because there are still no any signs for bitcoin to make a sudden improvement. We just need to believe in bitcoin.

This is another opportunity for us to buy bitcoin now because halving is near.

The probability of hitting $10,000 is very high and probable once the incentive for bitcoin halving has been granted. Bitcoin miners from China keep pushing through since 6.75 BTC is already a huge reward and more investors are trying to keep phase with Bitcoin now.

This is our chance to get a profit on bitcoin, let's invest now.

The OP might be true, they aren't creating predictions, most of the people knew that the rise of BTC price will place in 2020. I think it's not 8k$ only but bigger on that, let's hope for a better price for bitcoin this year.

I think this is a good sign that bitcoin is slowly recovering from the dump last year relaying in the bitcoin news we could easily see a lot of legalization of bitcoin in a lot of countries all over the world.
Surely this is an effect the market price in influencing a big community or a country so I think bitcoin could recover and make the bitcoin market price increase as the community also becomes bigger.

Finally bitcoin can return to the price of $ 8000, after several failed attempts. But it is still too early to conclude that this is
bull run. It could be this is only market manipulation by whales, we really need to be vigilant. We still have to monitor, we
continue to be sure that what is happening today on bitcoin is really bull run. Hopefully if true bull run, meaning I'm more
confident after halving later the price will rise.

Im happy to see again $8000 per bitcoin and maybe this is the sign of the bull run but it's no really sure if this is really it. All we must to do right now hold and buy a bitcoin and promote this to our friend so they invest too that help to booze the price of the bitcoin.  This week I really hope and want to rwach bitcoin the value of $10,000 and I think we can do that if most of the trader hold their bitcoin.  The price of this coin right now is depends to us if we want bull run we need to cooperate but sadly not most of the trader do that because other people want bitcoin to down or to dump.

So what's next? Buying as much as you can before the price goes up, I personally hold bitcoin for a long term, so I'm not gonna sell them before or after the halving, just wanna see how the market responds after this third halving. I believe it will follow the trend of the previous halving. People mentioned above that it might hit $ 10.000 USD again, yeah seems like we're gonna see the $ 10k this year.

After bitcoin touch $8000 next time you will see bitcoin raise above $10k before January, before late bitcoin raise above $10k you must invest with bitcoin and keep holding just one month later to get double profit with your bitcoin investment. Many good event for bitcoin in two months later and have chance to get profit with bitcoin by raising up to higher price.

I think bitcoin bull run will not start now,  Because many whales are preparing for massive fuds that forcing people to sell thier bitcoin so that whales will have opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin price.  Maybe bitcoin bull run will start in 3rd Quarter of this year and i think price of bitcoin will not reach $ 20,000 again.  Because many investors will secure thier profit when they see price increase again.

I do believe it will still grow even further based on such information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215615.msg53545336#msg53545336

According with previous history we all seen how much price will grow due to miners hard attempts of mining next blocks since there will become even lesser.

It is going to be increased even further due to US <-> Iran recent news as well.

So probabily reaching a new high value since 2019's $13.000 mark.

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?

If break the price of $8000 it will probably reach $8500, then we'll see if can stay above $8000 and if it will reach $9000 in the coming weeks. Anyway in the crypto world when the word "halving" is at stake the price starts to go up a lot. So maybe people are buying a lot to anticipate halving

We go to the next level, people are expecting and hoping for this, it could be a start of the bull run, we can only speculate remember last few months ago we got over the $10000 level and we got back in the $7000 level, the volatility made us not to makes things final, so I would say we have bull rum, for now, let's see in a few weeks, we'll take it one step at a time.

The price increase does not necessarily mean a bull run. I don't even think the price will go down quickly for sometime. I feel it will stay up for the month or the next.
Ironic, many where lamenting about the price drop last week or so. Now its up, we are scared again.
Let's just learn to enjoy the money and the offer it brings. If the price goes down, we take it as the market behaviour with less panic, if it doesn't, we will keep hoping for the best.

That was a good start and it simply means that the coming days will be possibly more on pumps rather than of dumps.
We step back again to $8k this month, it might be at $9k next month ( and I hope so)...

Have to track this thing and this is only the way to stop those fudders spreading negative thoughts...

I agree with others. This run should not be considered as bull run for now.

Why others are excited. If this will trigger the bull run then good. Expecting too much after this small run might again bring disappointment to others if ever their expectations didn't meet. Let see if bitcoin can build support at this level. During the last time, bitcoin price hits $8,000, many think that this level does have a strong resistance but the wall crash here and bitcoin goes down below $7,500.

This is a good sign but please, patience people, patience.

Who would even consider this a bull run though? Yes we did reach 8k levels but it's just a few hundred dollars up which is something that bitcoin's been doing quite regularly. People shouldn't get too excited about this, instead, we should be a little more wary. Nothing's wrong with being critical minded all the time especially when it comes to something that swings as easily as the crypto market.

Road to $10k.  I believe that is the next stop.  There are some prediction that Bitcoin may probably reach $10k in the next weeks.  I once thought that it was a bit impossible because the market that day had a strong signal of BTC price going down but I was wrong, all of a sudden Bitcoin price slowly getting support thus, we reach $8k now.

If we break the $9k level mark then might we could see the price come unto that but if certain things will go on sideways well it will be unfortunate since most provably there are many people will get trap since as of now we don't know yet if we are entering on the bullish days or maybe this is just another set up of a bull trap and price might gonna dump in quick blink but let's monitor on how market flows these days.

I'm looking for resistance in the $8,500-$8,700 area. I'm expecting at least a pause there on the way to $10K, but more likely a significant pullback. Here are some bar patterns and squiggles showing how the price action might look:

There is no doubt that $ 10k will be reached this year, it is only a matter of time. Miners from China do what they always do, they make a profit and only that matters, and they can push price up only if they stop selling coins, which is not a realistic option because they also have bills that need to be paid regularly. They still get 12.5 BTC per block, and after halving reward will be 6.25 BTC, not 6.75.

Serious investors don't get into something when the price goes up, they know when it's time to invest. After months in which the price has drop several times below $ 7k (close to $ 6k), now we have smart investors who think that this is a good time. In fact, the moment to invest is not a bad one - but there were definitely a lot of better opportunities.

yes, the 7800$ was broken , now we are sitting at 8400$ is and the market can go either way still
but the growth is more plausible and for that the resistance at 8.500$ is the next target
but I'm expecting a correction and the level of 8100-8000 by the weekend , lets see what happens in reality
the bad world news somehow did influence the price it seems and the trading volumes gone up as well as the price
could also be the early halving expectations starting to fuel the trading , hope it is the later - this should be a signal for growth

I can see this happening, I feel as there's as much a chance of $10K as $5K now which is promising. Weekly still hasn't proved it's bullish (mid-week, ie no confirmation), even if the Daily is looking very bullish right now by nearly all metrics. The bullish Daily conditions will need to overturn the still-bearish Weekly conditions to prove itself in my opinion. While the Monthly has flipped green breaking the 1-9 month correct (after 4 months), there are still too many weeks left to go to consider this as anything but neutral at best (mid-month, no confirmation)

From another perspective, I see current price level as horizontal resistance prior to forming a horizontal channel. Most people are still thinking either $5K or $10K, fewer are considering a continuation of longer-term accumulation by re-testing the 6's again for confirmation of current valuations:

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/09/10/mBe82.png (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/vtFKuk1E-BTCUSD-Extrapolating-2014-Correction-Could-6-500-Be-The-Low/)

That said, if we close above the 21 Week MA currently priced at $8,518, as well as the bearish channel, and price follows through next week, I'd continue feeling unconditionally bullish (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205261.msg53202274#msg53202274), like I was at $7,245:

We've been fighting to retain support levels for a few months now; it has been relentless downwards pressure. Certainly the upwards movement is welcome, and it's good that there has been little resistance so far. However I do still think it's far too soon to call a bull. I'd be happy at the moment if we can hold 8000 and turn it into solid support.

The big thing to watch is the descending channel. If you eventually break out of it with force we're back to the bull. Now it is still a little bit of scalp trading here and there and taking small profits, while the pile of gold is just around the corner.

Let's see if there will be a strong support at $8k like the one we have at $7k. We can't say it this time because it's not tested yet. The real reason why we had an increase is still unknown, it could be the war or the upcoming halving and it's already causing FOMO. If ever we touched $10k before halving no matter what the reason is. It's a good sign. For now, let's wait and see if $8k floor is sustainable in the following weeks. It's possible the price will move up again by next month if ever the price sustain the $8k this month.

If that would really happen then we should rejoice, but IMO, it will not reach that high because bitcoin after a pump in the past few days, it's now back to below $8,000 and the price could continue to fall down again, it's very unpredictable but it seems like we've seen this before already.

It has a good chance to defend the 8000... for now. But there's less than 3 weeks until the Chinese New Year, so I don't expect the euphoria last too long.
Are you sure Chinese New Year will have an effect? I think it will be the same as Christmas. there is no significant effect. but if this time continues to break above 10k it does not mean the influence of the Chinese new year, maybe the effect before halving will have a FOMO.

I am not sure of what the future holds, obviously.
But from what I remember from other years the periods before Chinese New Year and US tax day are not great for Bitcoin price, so .. those are my expectations.
Not great for bitcoin prices? and its your expectations? means you expect bitcoin price to fall? it's been almost 4 months bitcoin price is under 10k, is that enough time to bearish? but in the early months of 2020 bitcoin price is showing a positive move, is now the time to bullish?

I'm also optimistic and at the same realistic, that we will reach $10000 or even more, but I can still accept the fact that the price can still fall down, and we will have to wait a few more weeks or months before we can have high hopes that we are indeed in the bull run, have already waited two years so why a few months more.

It have chance to reach this amount, as the tension of war is circulating some investors putting their money in bitcoin and it may resolve to increase in price of bitcoin. It may not that too fast to consider bull as only few resort to store their assets in bitcoin, some were in gold.

Your thinking is exactly the same as mine, after we see a strong growth of bitcoin from $ 6400 to $ 8500, it's time for the market to adjust to create a higher price. We have been in the bull market since the beginning of 2019 so the price of bitcoin will always increase, I also believe that this month bitcoin will reach $ 10,000.

the evaluation will remain below 8000, the closing weekend is always the determinant of where the price will go.

I think if Trump can again increase the value of the USD after this quite tense week, then the BTC will still be affected, at least there are still gaps that make speculators follow developments that are not only based on charts.

This is not good choice to invest your money in gold because gold is not gold investment and its much better to invest your money in bitcoin its safe investment. There are no chances for war yet but the reason for high bitcoin investment is increasing price of bitcoin as price right now is $8k and after some time it will be more than double so keep waiting.

If we talk about the ability of the government to print certain amounts of money, then of course in this regard, cryptocurrency is of great importance to society, but until that time, while cryptocurrency is used legally in everyday life, a lot of time will pass.  And today we are witnessing a very vivid resistance of states to the recognition of cryptocurrencies regarding its value.  One way or another, all this negatively affects the cryptocurrency market, which is still in a fever from the actions of speculators.

I'm glad to see $8000 per bitcoin again and maybe that's the indication of running the horse, but it's not really clear if that's it. All we need to do right now is to keep and buy a bitcoin and sell it to our friend so that they can also invest and help raise the bitcoin price.

There's no need to do that, we are just not investing in that sense, we can tell them to buy in an exchange and hold like what we do.

That's the right thing to do.

I really hope and want to hit the value of $10,000 for bitcoin this week,

It's possible but not likely to happen, so just stay conservative with it so you won't get disappointed.
At first I thought the pump will continue but here we are now, back to a familiar situation, bitcoin is down and we don't know if it will bounce back soon.

It could have been different if Trump retaliates with those missile attacks but he choose not, so it's going to cool down for now, but people now know and think that Bitcoin is really a good alternative if such a scenario occurs in their own region, so expect a pump if we see similar incidents like this happen?

The market is full speculations better to study more and not just to jump into quick conclusions. It's safer for your investment if you'll going to
work much closer into any possibilities and not just to relied with other's speculations and the current market movement as it can be fake and
artificially done by big whales around.

so the increase some time ago was just a FUD and indeed it seems that there will be no war as I read today "Trump says he is ready for peace" it means there will be no more turmoil. appears simultaneously after trump says that, bitcoin price down to 7800 which was previously at 8000.

Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?
almost touching $ 8500 the highest of the past few days has already shown everyone that bitcoin always has surprises, there are still other surprises coming in the next few weeks and everyone is waiting for it to take over $ 9,000 soon, it looks like we are seeing trading volume going up assuring us that more and more many new people come to bring their money into the market, there is only a slight decline at this time before exceeding the other highest prices, bitcoin halving will soon be, maybe that's what they have in mind where prices can just go back to previous history, see other surprises in the week next

After seeing bitcoin touching 8000$ in the last few days, the current price right now is around 7700$ and, I thought the slowly rising price of bitcoin will be the great preparation for upcoming bull run but it was not. Besides, some people here think that bitcoin will also hit 9000$ and even me I believe on that but what I see right is simple pump and dump on market. And, again let's if the price of bitcoin will stay at the price of 7700$.

Let's see if there will be a strong support at $8k like the one we have at $7k.
Hope you meant the other way around, there was a huge resistance at $8k levels and so is the reason the market went down after reaching those valuations and the market was not able to sustain those valuations for a long period of time and it looks like we need more time to reach those valuation and maintain those valuations.

Seeing the price not being above 8 thousand scares me. It did reached at a peak of $8.4k and that was a good time but looking at it now its just under $8k nowadays and that means price tried to go up but failed. Was that a failed attempt of a bull run? Was that just a new years bonus checks going into bitcoin, was that just a whale buying bunch of bitcoin for preparation of halving? We don't know the real cause of bitcoins increase other than there were more bitcoins bought than sold at those prices so it had to go up, that is all we know.

If we could go down to bottom of why bitcoin went up we could actually figure out what makes it go up and try to do it again but since we don't know we can never know what will happen next. We need to learn about past to predict the future.

I mean we ain't yet reaching halving stage, and we don't have any major news out there besides the battle between Iran and America. Get rejected by the futures MAs due to the high volume, back down to the support trendline of the bear channel around mid $5Ks.

The market won't go sharp for a while until it crosses the $10000 price barrier. Whether people expect or not, there is growth with altcoins. Here we can't expect the same to take place with each and every altcoin. Probably those expected for big rise over the past year will progress high along with bitcoin. Only when the price begins to increase investors will fill their bags with good volume of bitcoin and altcoins.

We have a good entry since the opening of this year, unlikely we saw last year. It is looking great to see how the market moves like this and continues to move high surpassing $8k. It possibly we are turning back high again headed for another $10k, I hope to will works.

This is to think that halving has a positive impact on the market and it makes sense now how people will think great also. For we are struggling for 2 years in bearish season, might say that this year will gonna be change and with the help of halving.

A gradual and steady increase in the price of bitcoin is my preference this would give room for buying while taking profits after a rally and buying at dip again rather than sudden and sharp increase ie spike.
Meanwhile the price had corrected to the support at $7800 to $7900 heading up above $8K thus reaching $10K soon.

It seems that the price of bitcoin is holding between $7800-$8000 per each, as long as the bitcoin will not go down in $7800, there will be a big possibility that a pump will happen because the chart telling us that there are now high demand and the buyers are willing to purchase in that area. I hope that the buyers will overwhelmed the sellers in order for us to see a increase again in the price of the bitcoin.

I'm sure he also means strong support. We had been trading for weeks at above 7k, and support there meant that even when we broke it we quickly returned above like the recent bounceback from 6.8k.

So now if currently 8k becomes strong support, we can expect bounce back from 7.7 or 7.8k precisely as we saw just yesterday.

I think we are at an interesting resistance point with the moving averages, if we can cross some more upwards we would in fact have a chance to be out of bearish channel. Bitcoin displayed so far in 2020 pure bullish momentum. Although now Bitcoin got 12 hours to achieve $8050 again in order to keep the bullish momentum but still there is a risk for a incoming dump. I'd say only $7,900 gives Bitcoin some chances of bouncing back, but I'm actually expecting lower lows after this, below $7,900 will dump price down to $7,500. If broken, it will test $7,000 as a provisional bottom.

Anything which is steady and stable is their for the long term to stay and overall if seen in 2019 the rise has not being that steep or fall other than 1-2 times during the year which is the good sign. This means be we are seeing btc getting more stable and gradually the price rising and would see 10k and upwards in this year.

yes, this is still in January, we cannot say that this is the bull run that we are waiting for. although bitcoin in a fairly short time reached a price of $ 8k, but after that, the development of the price was held back at the current price. I think that we need to wait a few more weeks for monitoring, whether the bull run will occur before halving or not. however, it is very difficult to predict the current price, but many people are quite optimistic about seeing the price of bitcoin rising at this time.

Yeah, I agree, it will be a waiting game, but the good thing is that it was able to maintain the $8'ish level, might be a good sign after all. Erratic or trading sideways, it's hard to make money out of it,  ;).

so I guess the best thing for those who aren't adept to technical analysis is probably stay away and just observed the price movement and hope that $9k will be there in the horizon.

We have actually broken out of the strong resistance zone and it is preparing for a big pump like Q2 of 2019. In addition, the fomo sentiment about the Halving event this time, so no There is no reason for us not to buy bitcoin from now on and hold it in the long term. Chances are that bitcoin may pull back to 7000$ or 6000$ after this artificial pump is over. Bitcoin has touched $8k accidentally due to Iran/USA tension, this doesn't mean bitcoin is going to moon or ATH very soon. Bitcoin is still in buying range try to buy right now to get future profit.

Everything is possible, we should be ready to that, however, prior to touching $8, we are struggling at $7k so let's just say there's a minor improvement.

That's plan but you are right, it might not hold strong, but we should still expect that once it drop to $6k it will bounce back again like what happen in the past and this halving hype is strong, when nearing the schedule, it will save the price to pump.

It's hard to say bitcoin will go down to $ 6k because with such a decline it will have to dump a large scale, right now, it's just that the fluctuation is not so bad because it tends to be stable.
Although this is the effect of Iran and the US, but we know that in the future it will bring benefits to the crypto market because of this extraordinary tension.
Take advantage of the opportunities now because bitcoin will be high again.

After finishing with $8,000 I think bitcoin can touch with higher price level above $10k in next moment, near close with bitcoin halving give big chance for bitcoin become above $10k but always have depend with demand and supply with bitcoin on exchange market, if always have bad news about bitcoin maybe make many investor want to sell their bitcoin assets and make price become down.

When did you see the bitcoin price reach $ 9000? Last week the bitcoin price reached only $ 8500 and then it quickly fell below the $ 8000 level. I haven't seen any exchange trading bitcoin at $ 9000. In the future it is possible that bitcoin will reach this price level but it is currently not possible

LOL, maybe he was looking at a very low volume exchange because I never remember it reached that high, you are right it only reach $8500.

actually we can check the history here https://coinmarketcap.com/

Yeah, try and use one of the bigger exchanges to check on price, or even use something like bitcoinaverage or preev. They will show the rate aggregated with volume so we don't see unusual spikes too much.

Have we look into that kind of optimism and I think everyone is now looking for the market to strike again.
We reach at $14k last year and it seems not possible for making it happens once again, and probably more as halving would make a push on it.
Has to think that year is full of hopes for all crypto enthusiasts/supporters...

It has a good chance to defend the 8000... for now. But there's less than 3 weeks until the Chinese New Year, so I don't expect the euphoria last too long.
Well, approaching Chinese New Year, it is possible that next week the price of bitcoin will decline again, but it seems that it will not last long because from what I see the position of bitcoin at the price of 8k is quite strong and does not falter to fall to the price of 7k again so I'm sure after that bitcoin is fast will recover and continue to rise beyond the price of 8k could reach the price of 9k.

Rising wedge it looks like - https://i.imgur.com/r6Nhzfn.png

Should I be bullish right now because my guess is not that especially.   My general take is we hit all walls on the squash court, without a clear to one direction I expect to hit the 50 day average down below before we react further.   Right now its just going sideways, some might think different but I dont take it as some positive when doing nothing much.   A pullback isnt especially negative either.

It's halving season. Lean back and enjoy your gains. Simultaneously the CME futures started for January after 6 months of downward pressure.

They want to make some money now with the halving headlines. Expect a lot of news and publicity when Bitcoin reaches $10k and the halving coming up.

Of course we are not having a new ATH very soon. We know it wasn't that easy but then it wasn't clear if the rise we are having right now is because of US-Iran tension. There's a chance it could be because of upcoming halving. Maybe we are going to pull back at $7k but $6k, I don't think so. It's proven, resistance at $7k is strong and as you can see we are now above at $8k again and we've been hanging at $8k for quite some time now. So it's possible $8k is our new floor price.

Today hit above $8,500 and bitcoin looks still going with higher price until $10,000, your prediction have pass with bitcoin touched on level $8,000 because bitcoin price today have been in $8500, still have chance for bitcoin back with higher price where not get bad news and conflict economic war where could make bitcoin and altcoin back with lower price,  I am waiting for bitcoin back with higher price next week.

but at the moment the price touches $ 8500 and it might be very easy to touch above $ 9000 or $ 10k, if investors and traders want another way so fast before bitcoin halving starts, I don't think it will be too long to wait for the next high price from now

I'm happy because we finally pass trhough 8k again and the most important here is not dump and sustain this level of 8k, I'm tired of that 7k USD level  :D

Let's see the next movement

It is a good feeling when a trade or an investment goes in the right direction. I particularly like the rather slow movement up and taking its time for a retrace without overheating. Would be nice to establish a true floor over $9k, or even $10k, before the halving.

Nice, slowly going up up and away. Not too fast, not too slow, just a constant climb to the next peak. Should be sustainable, like the hare and the tortoise, slow and steady wins the race.

This is better compared to the past pump which makes btc jump from 6k to 10k, if within this month we will again reach $10,000, this should be good for us because it shows very positive going to the halving schedule.

We're getting close to $9000. Probably this weekend will give us with a big growth crossing $10000. The fluctuation that happened in large scale within $8000 have got decreased and now the growth is taking place in the forward direction without much of downward deflection. This is time to invest and get back the short term return out of the market.

It's not a single time happening because so many times the price of Bitcoin pumped and dumped it’s normal according to me. When you buy the coin you will have to wait for that time when it gives you profit so bitcoin in is a good coin which made fast progress this year and I hope it will continue always like this. I think the next halving will increase the price even more than $8000.

Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?
Next target is $9k then after that $10k and the main goal is to go beyond $20k again this year. We can wait longer or even a year before that to happen again, so don’t expect too much and just go with the flow with proper decisions on your money. Have the best confidence with bitcoin, this is going to be a great bull.
Until the attitude of users to cryptocurrency changes, you will not have to expect a real bull in the cryptocurrency market.  The fact is that most cryptocurrency users use cryptocurrency as an asset, thanks to which it is possible to make big profits due to its volatility and nothing more.  If you look at the cryptocurrency market on a larger scale, then in any case it will lead to large investments in very promising projects, and then the cryptocurrency market will begin its historical growth.  But today, most users earn on price fluctuations.  Based on this, large-scale changes are not expected in the near future.

yes. bitcoin rise price slowly, reach $9,000 for end of this month is enough for me because it can be good alerts and hope this year or the next can replace all sadness in one year ago

two days ago is pump begin. but for next anything can happen no one can guarantee about their speculations so we have to ready for everything pump again or dump will happen in future

I very often began to pay attention to the analysis of the cryptocurrency market from Bloomberg and always compare these results with other sources.  At least for the current period, users should expect an increase in the Bitcoin price up to $ 9,000 from the cryptocurrency market, but if the global level of $ 9,500 is overcome, the market will continue to develop at the same pace.  But if this level is not achieved, then the cryptocurrency market will reign calm.

its funny that majority of people litterally answers 8.5 plus or 9k usd next to 8k  but why not right ?  only if the price of btc is progressive but did it ? no right  .

btc is unpredictable and we dont exactly know if it will head above 8k upon its next move  but it can also be possible that the price will nose dive at 7.9 and below   . now that we touch 8k usd , whats next  ? well next is that its better to prepare for the good and for the worst that might happen  .

They say the price could dive when CW and his friends dump his holding and BSV soon if court decides he lied. This is going to be another hurdle for the price to go up but its fun to prove he isn't satoshi though. There is the fun part but there is also a not fun part. No matter what the next to watch out is if this pump will hit 9k

After touch $8,000 bitcoin back above $10,000 for giving much  profit for every one have hold bitcoin for long term, just little time for bitcoin back to higher price and growing most expensive price but we need moment for bitcoin growing up slowly and touch with higher price. Reached more than $16k for bitcoin I think next two months later, you can invest now with bitcoin or trying with altcoin too because have solution to make profit for you to get much earning and profit with bitcoin, don't worry when halving time bitcoin have higher price again and back above $20,000.

I think the halving will bring the price up in the longer term. I say longer-term because it probably won't happen right away. I am not sure what will happen until then but I guess the price will be fairly stable like it is now. It is probably a good idea to buy before the halving. I also think that is a good time to buy now. Maybe most people agree?

We have many reasons to believe that something like that will happen. I know that we who own Bitcoin believe in that more than anyone else, and our judgment is biased, but even when I try to think objectively about cryptocurrencies I find that Bitcoin has very high chances for hitting new ATH in the future. We can discuss the time when will it happen, opinions are different, I personally believe that we will see new ATH only next year, or the one after.

I hope that Bitcoin is not manipulated again like 2017, a very high rise and then a drastic decrease making investors and traders uneasy about it and very disappointed, I know Halving has a good history for Bitcoin, but we don't focus on it
Yeah, the price of bitcoin will increase but it takes time as in 2017 Jr was high so we can expect the same. I hope this year we will see better changes but will be little as compared to last year. Bitcoin is held worthy as the price is not that high but day by day it is increasing. Holding and waiting is key to become a millionaire with our investment.

A deeper retracement is really likely. Maybe a bounce back from 7400 or to the 6300 levels, the most important part is if we will bounce back or not? More bear season? or direct fall to 5k?
Imo a bounce back from 7400 and holding there for a while is likely...

at the moment the price of bitcoin is stable at the level of $ 8k henceforth I hope bitcoin can reach $ 9k in February. although the increase is a little but if it continues then this March the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k. I am optimistic if bitcoin can reach a value of $ 10k in March, then the next bitcoin will continue to increase. and my target is to be able to reach $ 15k by the end of this year. but no one knows for sure the price of bitcoin in the future we can only follow and continue to monitor price movements.

Still a big questioned where this market will be heading, there's also chances that a big pumped can take place after this dive, it's in need for everyone to assess and not to fall with this fluctuations. Anticipate according to your own understanding and make a right call to make sure that your investment will be more safer than to panic and   turned everything into a waste of your money.

We can't say that $8000-$9000 is stable, we all know how the price fluctuates everyday, one day we will see the price getting above $9000 and now we sinks with minus $1000. So again, be prepared with some corrections along the way, we're not get in the bullish trend as others might suggest. A lot of things can happen along the road, maybe we can go back to $6000 for all we know.

I see some predictions also say it will survive at 8000-8200, if the support is not strong it will plunge below 8700. To return to 6000 I think not, because even some time ago the support was strong enough to hold at 6500 and not even touch 6000 maybe bullish occurs when it will approach halving, but I also don't know whether there will be a significant movement before halving?

Why is $9000 so difficult to reach?  ;D
Should it really be February before it happens?
Then maybe $10,000 at March and so on.

So $12,000 in May. But I don't think people will be satisfied by it.
$20,000 is the most seen number in this forum. They are really waiting for the ATH return. I hope it will, then another dump for the buyers at that price last December 2017. They might be scratching to get their ROI by now.

It seems that the price of bitcoin will continue to be sustainable given the price of bitcoin which continues to be stable and tends to increase within 24 hours, then what we will correct from this movement is whether to continue to wait or sell because it has benefited a little percent?
The target maybe in February this bitcoin will be able to reach $ 9,000 again seen in the graph is quite good in its movements.

So as we maintain above 8550 then I dont want to consider downwards especially as price is often with positive momentum so long as it stays ahead of a weekly average which is true now.   This is a positive week open for BTC.
When the test comes in price, see if it can keep this measure or we might speculate on 8000 once again but last attempt did not reach there.

Next target seeing bitcoin touch above $10,000 and look possible because bitcoin not going down with Chinese new year and not start going to higher price, when bitcoin really done with $10,000 looks easy touch higher price more than $20,000 and keep profitable again for touch with higher price.

As Bitcoin price again increasing in this week, this time we can expect Bitcoin will hit 10K USD, it can happen within the first week of February! As Chinese Lunar year celebration is stopped for many reasons mainly Corona, so, crypto is not gonna see a dump!

We stepped at $9K again (24 hours high), it's a good sign that the market is on again for another rise.

I am expecting more rise will follow after this, and yes, $10K is never hard to achieve again so probably at the minimum, btc will reach that price before the halving schedule, what we need is another FOMO so this price will pump again, yeah, it's the pump that is needed to finally make it to the bullish market.

When $10k reach, It might be a start of a increasing price. I'm actually still buying some BTC knowing once 10k reach it may not go back again especially that halving will happen soon. Halving motivate me to invest more this time than to be in rush in buying when BTC suddenly arise beforehand.

That is actually quite a good point. The halving event in itself creates some very strong hands, who would probably sell early without such a defining event on the horizon. The first halving Bitcoin halving was rather unspectacular for the time being and came just after a bear market. Now when reaching the third halving, we have the history and effects of the two previous halvings, thus maybe creating stronger and stronger holders with every iteration.

But based on the fact that more knowledge is available, people should frontrun the next bull run and sell early to limit its explosion based on the knowledge of the prolonged bear markets and all these chances to buy lower again. Maybe the market will flaten out a little with less stronger bull and bear runs from now on.

why not edit the title mate?to "Now that we touched $9,000,what's next"? because for two times we have already touched 9k$ mate because today we are lucky to Hit that high again.
there is a thread i read that asking if Bitcoin may Hit 9k$ in the end of January and now it seems we are staying on that level.

any reason why Corona Virus will keep Bitcoin in this Pump?what would be the effect for the price stop dumping?just having curiosity mate.

Corona virus giving positive effect today raise to higher price more than 7% and look touch above $9,000 where last days bitcoin under $8.700 and now keep continue going to higher price, when bitcoin have touch above $9,000 I think look impossible bitcoin back to lower price and continue to start on higher price.

Means there is nothing at all with the effects of the Corona virus that they might not think about going to the bitcoin market during such a situation because all the Chinese government has handled it all.
The crypto market remains positive at this time as the rise will continue to $ 10k this February as the halving effect draws closer to demand.

We’re already on $9k mark and may reached another resistance too. It may not only because of the corona or the Chinese New year. Halving is also approaching that many users want to grab the momentum to buy and get some profit before or after halving.

But it seems that breaking such market value barrier is too soon. The market value of Bitcoin have reached a price of more than $9000 recently but it is now falling. The increase have been caused by the tension between iran and US, and the moment it cooled, the price suddenly starts to fall. The bottomline is, the market value is naturallu volatile, so we just cannot make an assumption that its price will continuously increase just because there is a mild uprise.

I don't think that the reason for this pump is the Novel Corona Virus news. But, there really could be a connection however, I'm not thinking that there's something with that. For the Chinese New Year, it's already done and I don't think there's still relation to it.

Because for the past years, the effect of CNY is always a dumping. But with the scenario now, we're seeing a pump instead.

today the price of bitcoin has touched the price of $ 9k. the rise of bitcoin from the beginning of January to today seems to indicate that this year is a good year for cryptocurrency. although the increase in bitcoin is not high but if it continues to rise. this will make the crypto market better. we have also seen the rise in bitcoin coins succeed in making the altcoin market green again. I predict in the middle of this year the possibility of bitcoin will reach a price of $ 13k.

That's a very low target, we have reached $13,000 last year so probably this year we will reach a higher price.
Last year there's not much hype from bitcoin but this year we have halving and we are seeing the results already, what if Libra will successfully launch this year, probably that's gonna create a positive movement on the market too.

Yeah, and I believe that many have been relieved by their long wait for the price to move back high. The bearish season will be over soon and quite to see that this halving will serve as a tool to make it possible. Likewise, we are been paid off for our trust and continuous support for Bitcoin even those times that we suffer dumps and market difficulties.

If the resistance and market demand will continue to increase, is not only be of $10k to reach at but it could be more...it might reaching into $15k in the 2nd quarter.

Well, when the price has reached the level, then what needs to be done is to wait until the price reaches a higher level. However, right now the price of bitcoin has reached $ 9,000, and what's next? of course waiting for the price of $ 10,000. other than that, we don't just wait and remain silent until the price is reached. we need to improve quality in finding assets so we can happily welcome high prices.

I am pretty sure not because of those, these 2 has no correlation with the price movement of bitcoin and we are not seeing a crazy movement yet, what we are seeing is still a stable movement or a normal one because btc pump then after price correction then bounce back again, that's a strong movement IMO.

Halving is also approaching that many users want to grab the momentum to buy and get some profit before or after halving.
This one I think is likely the reason, the hype is real, people are buying bitcoin in preparation of the upcoming halving, just like in the past.

Good for those people who do bought on 8k price and regrets for those who do missed out that buying opportunity. If this 9k resistance would be broken
then expecting we would able to hit 5 digit price soon.

What next? Who knows but we can presume on where would be the next stop over.Hopefully it would be strong this time so that we would able to
hit up ATH soon as we do approach halving event.

Honestly, I am not that sure if the bull run we are waiting for is going to happen. Some other says that this coming halving will not be that much and some others says it will bring prosperity in the market. There's a lot of speculation but I think we should believe on our own intuition, accumulate Bitcoin as much as possible so that even if halving would not cause a what we expecting we could still HOLD it.

We can now answer your question for sure.  NO, NO, NO, that was not the bull run  :D :D :D

The Halving is already priced into the market, NOTHING will change with the halving, investors are all aware the halving is coming and already positioned themselves.  The halving will be a Buy the news, SELL THE FACT moment in the BitCoin market.

Hard Facts

We are also not sure that the price is in as well, it was only speculation. Yes, this halving can be different to the other two halvings we have seen. Maybe we will see some fresh blood starting to pump the market once we get closer to the date or after the halving itself. So it remains to be see and everyone is speculating as to the effect of it.
Hold strong, the halving is coming, the price could rise as expected, maybe not now yet but there are still plenty of time.

If we look at the world situation now, people will not invest as they fear for their future, they will prioritize saving money over investing, but there are people who have a lot of funds to invest that is why the market will be more volatile as this is only played by few investors will big capital, we should be careful with that.  Bitcoin will rise and make a new ATH could be possible too, but the foundation is week, it could also dump and correct.
