Title: Anyone trading Stellar coin?
Post by: Prateek_sharma on January 10, 2020, 05:50:46 AM
Well!! Did you know? Stellar is performing really well in the crypto space, several crypto experts assume the stellar price will rise high in the coming next months, and gives good returns on investments.

Here: https://coinpedia.org/information/stellar-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?

For a long time Stellar has performed well with crypto before even knowing other coins. I have known Stellar until now. Indeed, some experts have predicted a few months ago about the upcoming XLM price. They have ensured that XLM will be able to rise again this year and now. also there has not been a good increase but I believe in Stellar will return profits for those who invest.

in the news article there is a tweet mcaffee I don't believe in that person I don't think anyone believes in his predictions, as we know that he backs down on his own bet predicting the price of bitcoin, I can't say XLM is part of Altcoin because of the distribution it's free and funds are kept by the foundation so I worry that there will be a big dump at any time, unlike altcoin which is supposed to be mined and printed with limited supplies, I'm not a lover of xlm and xrp because their systems are the same, I'm not sure XLM touched high prices before bitcoin really going to high prices, we know all crypto markets are dominated by bitcoin right now  8)

several crypto experts assume the stellar price will rise high in the coming next months, and gives good returns on investments.
Those crypto experts are not sure of anything, if you are sure about getting good return on investment, then you should be doing your own research which afterwards you'll find out that the bitcoin is sure to give you good ROI when you invest wisely. Debunk any information from anyone who claims X or Y coin would be Z in whichever time they decide for themselves, do not invest based on their assumptions, but on the current market situation.
in the news article there is a tweet mcaffee I don't believe in that person I don't think anyone believes in his predictions,
And no one should, since I joined in the crypto market, I've never invested based on anyone's predictions and I would not start in a thousand years.

I trade Stellar coins last year, i like a lot technology behind it and the time of confirmation on network which is totally different from how confirmation work for bitcoin, i think if a bull run will come XLM will grow.

I don't trade stellar as the other coin, but I have some stellar that I bought at a low price, and I still hold it until now. I feel that stellar can follow XEM or ripple to increase, but this coin needs a long time to start growing. Maybe many people are trying to trade this coin pair bitcoin or usdt, ethereum, but I don't want to lose from trading, and I prefer to hold this coin only. But it is interesting to hope that stellar can increase for $1 at the end of 2020, and if that happens, many people will be happy.

Good trading and investing with stellar or XLM coin because can give profitable for every one keep hold this coin, always each one month stellar loo raise up to higher price about 7% change, right now stellar coin have been in support price and look good chance for trading now and start your stellar holding for one week later receiving higher profit.

my opinion about STELLAR is positive if we are talking about the opportunity to make money. I have been buying this coin for a long time in my portfolio and expect very good results from it. Throughout 2018 and 2019, I bought this coin at a price that I considered very low. and now I have already accumulated quite a lot and I think that now we can only wait. if you haven’t bought yet, then I would recommend using 5 percent of your balance to invest in this coin

Every expert will expect something good for the coins that they are supporting. XLM without a doubt is one of the top coins and good predictions are there because 2019 has been so good for this coin. I have traded Stellar last year and I think I'll be getting it again if see the bottom of it. The year is still at the beginning and there will be more to tune until the last day, so as far as I can see and consider the price not belongs to the threshold that I have set, I will not buy.

XLM is one of the deep-rooted crytocurrencies on the market. Their potential was too high from the beginning.
But they made a big mistake. They airdropped so many coins. There was no need for that! And I think they realized it but they did a big mistake more. They burnt so many coins from total supply.

These moves were not very professional. The fact that this number of coins burned from the total number did not affect the price showed how wrong this decision was. For whatever reason, project teams should not play with the dynamics of a coin that much. Especially for a big project like XLM... I think we can see clearly why BTC has so value when we look XLM's  moves.

I do not think there is anything special about stellar. Perhaps trading at a lower price will provide a chance to recover its price like the others when bullrun returns. Last year its price had reached good positions, but due to the market situation could not continue. I hope it will get its share of the expected market increase again and this time the price will not fall much.

Stellar Coins are good for long-term investments. In fact, I bought coins a few months ago and I hold for the long term. We know that Stellar likes to provide investors with returns and prices always go up, but now when prices are going down, but I don't worry about Stellar right now, this coin will immediately go up if the bullrun has arrived.
Take advantage of the opportunity now while the XLM price is cheap.

AFAIR, they burned half of their total supply so this coin is really good for long term hold, I am not trading it actively like day trading it because my performance is not good in bearish market, I just take advantage of the cheap price and try to hold it until the bull season arrives.

Stellar has very low fee. Trading it is actually good but for now better buy many xlm as we goes deeper to the bullish sentiment many will take good profit having stellar. It is same like with eth but their network is not congested compared to eth but the only thing they lack is community or more user on their ecosystem.

Do you really think you need to trade XLM? I bought some a couple of years ago and still store them in Freewallet. Still have a lot of profir from that.
They do, for those people were not getting the golden time like you and then they must do more effort to make more bucks from there. Just because you have a part of the early buyers of stellars and then you can argue if they don't need to do something to get more bucks from the market again. Dude, the market is always moving and they were not buying at the cheap price and that's why they need to stand at their position to get more profit from the market.

I don't really monitor Stellar prices, because in the last few months the popularity of Stellar coins has decreased,
but if we look at the Stellar chart, it should be Stellar price up, because the chart doesn't always go down, and it doesn't always go up,
if we have seen the Stellar go down for the last few months, maybe the prediction of Stellar going up actually happened.

XLM king's era is over together with XRP back in early 2018. These two coins are hard to comeback due it's big dump and make many people loss.
But the coins are still developing well, maybe it's a good for investment in a long term but it won't give much profits compared to other good coins like ETH which is develop so fast and with strong community

Yes, I had been trading with the Stellar coins regularly but yesterday I converted into Ethereum for some personal reasons! There is no doubt XLM is a highly potential coin to trade and making profits, the article's prediction has a point, Stellar price already started growing and it can grow to 0.10$ in the next month!

I don't hold XLM or Stellar in my portfolio, my reason is because the available xlm distribution doesn't seem fair even I'm worried they are manipulating distribution to get money, but I don't want to accuse a lot but the amount of supply doesn't make me sure they will get high prices

We know that the stellar is the one of top aaltcoin in crypto market and it has been performing very well from past few months, because stellar team has been burned 55 billion XML coins so investors will get more benefits from it in future . i think this is best time to buy XML coin maybe it can cross $0.01 mark soon, and i was holding some XML coin with me and planning to buy more in coming days.

xlm is one of my favorite altcoin and xrp, i love xlm because of fast transaction and low fee, what i know is they are active for the development of the project, its also good if you will do your own research about the project. and prepare back up plan as well, dont put eggs in one basket. always remember that theres no assurance in crypto world.

If you really believe that the development of this coin will succeed then buy and invest your money, the importance of pure understanding from each project that we take. Wayback 2017 Stellar also pumped its way to the top and bring a huge profits from those early investors who manage to believe and invest with this coin.

I'm not sure about this.

There is an abundance of supply for XLM from all the airdrop programs that it has associated itself with, including blockchain (ID verification) and Keybase (no ID verification, so you can imagine the amount of bots that signed up and claimed the coins multiple times).

That leaves excess supply and an extremely inflationary coin base. I'm not sure if I would want to invest in that in the long run at least.

in my opinion from the article above stellar has a good project and good FA analysis, but for high price increases in the next few months it will not happen because the market is not stable there will be no coin that will rise high until the market is stable

I do not trade stellar coin, but i can confirm that it is indeed a solid token and project.
It was airdropped to airdroppers while blockchain app did its airdropn.

And likewise, it was used as airdrop payments for 3 months under keybase promotion, and what happened? the token has survived every bullet thrown straight at it.
But none the less, this is not an investment advice.

DYOR.

I do not trade with Stellar, but I do hold couple thousand Stellar. It's not much, I think often to add some more to Stellar to
my portfolio, while the price is low.
Stellar has a very low price, and I believe this project can do a lot in the future. Probably I will buy more, because 1$ is not
far away and I am sure Stellar can do it in next couple years.

I also do not believe the predictions of people who are "considered" influential, I prefer to have a small discussion with fellow traders to see the opportunities, and only make the assumptions of "interested people" as analytical material only, not taken outright.
You are right, the fact that Stellar foundation has more than 70% XLM. So it is likely to be manipulated and this I think makes it not fully decentralized.

I was attracted to stellar because of the many events from his project from some famous platforms yesterday. For the bounty hunter and airdrop Hunter must be enthusiastic with stellar as the hype of Ethereum. But the price is getting worse in 2019. Hopefully, your prediction is correct that the coming month will rise high.

I stay away from trading nowadays as nothing can be traded with cautious especially when you're an awful trader like me heh but overall stellar was never a good trading coin and other altcoins should worth trying a shot for trading in order to make profits. However , I think the main trading currency should be bitcoin for all of us as altcoins can go down much more than bitcoin and sometimes you won't get back a thing or you get a fair $ price but you lose a lot of satoshi.

I believe in this coin for a reason and not just because an analyst predicted or anything related to that. From the way it was structured and set up, you could tell it will do well in the coming years.
Well, I don't trade them, I hold them for better days. I feel there are better days to come aside trading. Moreover, its not easy following up the trading charts; it tiring.

Stellar Lumen has always been stable in a major market dump. Despite the free airdrop been given out by the stellar Lumen foundation, the price has a good support, it has proven not to be a PND coin. I see this may be use by the banks in the future which makes me think to hold some more.

Stellar is the first cryptocurrency to help me gain profit when participating in this market. In 2014 I had more than 400k Stellar but I quickly dumped it at that time, if I kept them until 2017 then I would definitely have made a lot of profit. And for many years, Stellar has achieved a lot of achievements, this is one of the leading altcoins in this market and stellar is suitable for long-term investment.

maybe your intention is to save for a long time, a trader doesn't really care what type of coins they are trading because they only do it in the short term, buy now and sell when they make a profit.but i guess trader not trade it for daily because low gain in a day so they buy and hold for a wekk maybe then sell it.
yes i think stellar is a good coin yes although there are some who say centralized coin but stellar is a promising coin.

Stellar is really a coin that I quite believe. Their team is always very active and very willing to pay. They have successfully developed the wallet app and Blockchain is now being used by quite a lot of people. I believe that XLM will soon be the strongest growth alts in 2020, the chart is also showing that the price of XLM is preparing to pump. But what's more important is that their community is active, so we can expect a powerful pump.

Title: Re: Anyone trading Stellar coin?
Post by: Wysi on January 23, 2020, 09:42:41 AM
XLM has always been the most preferred platform for making lightning speed transactions and it's similar to Ripple but XLM is completely decentralized. But the problem with XLM is that it does not get enough pump when expected as the unused tokens were burnt by the developers during the bearish market and it didn't have any positive effect on the value of XLM. Management needs to be more diverse in terms of decision making in order to take XLM to new heights as it's one of the most underrated coins.

Although I don't know when the bull run will come, I can hold the stellar in my wallet until the price increase later. Yeah, I use to day trade on Stellar Lumens sometime back but now I have stopped because of the low return on investment. The stellar team are not doing much in my perspective to bring about increase development and growth of the project. Unlike TRON and XRP which are putting several developments in place to see their coin grow gradually.

Yes, but trading on Bitcoin also carries a high risk, because when Bitcoin experiences a price drop it is also very high, so whatever trading we have to be more careful in seeing its movements, and altcoin also always increases when the value of Bitcoin moves to on.

Definitely not a scam, but this coin hasn't given good returns to those who invested in it. And this has happened despite support from some of the heavyweights in the industry. XLM has been around for quite sometime and I got my first coins a few years back (when they had a few promotional campaigns and airdrops). But the exchange rate has remained stagnant, along with the userbase.

if we have seen the Stellar go down for the last few months, maybe the prediction of Stellar going up actually happened.
Definitely last few months was bullish trend, So that's why  steller price chat not increased. Stellar coin increased a lot few days ago when up in the whole altcoins market. Yeah it’s now need to increase because a few billion tokens burning. 670 staoshi isn’t a bad price in this time you know and 1k satoshi is last price in the chart.

I think, right now, almost all coin prices are rising, including Stellar. but if you want to get profit, then we must have a good strategy in ourselves. we must not only be guided by the experts' assumptions but must also be present in ourselves in determining them and a good strategy in investing.

Stellar is also a very different in terms of transaction approval. Also this coin is a wonderful option for small businesses, the main thing which gives more hope to the project is they are a open source network. Right now the stellar is not going through any big change, but the expectations were big as XLM will be a strong competitor for ETH. But unfortunately things are not going good as expected.

Each coins have it's own time, maybe expectations didn't happened yet since what we are seeing around the market is different from how the project being
traded, and the progress still unsure with XLM competing with ETH is far from it's successions but knowing that there's still chances to make things possible as long as the team are working around, there are people who still considering to hold and wait till the market goes back to bull trend again.

Is it the way for you to consider an altcoin that you trade? Seeing the capitalization first and if the capitalization is much you will ignore it? For me being a trader shouldn't have that thing. You should have to see the price movement first and when you have a chance according to your analyst then you have to take it. I think stellar is a good coin because its position is in the top on the market and the chance for this coin to scam you or this coin is being shitcoin that is really impossible.

Good thing that they are already making a move now after all these years where they do remain silent but well its understandable that most projects are on the same state knowing that we have been bearish for how many years now but the question is, would they able to pull it through? Im not saying that XLM isnt good but we know on how popular this project is.
Actually holding up some few coins on my bags though and im somewhat expecting something for this year.

Suddenly, I have a financial urgency and I sold all my XLM at 0.5$/one.  About 4 weeks later, the price rose to $8/one.  I was almost crying because it was painful.  Stellar is a good coin to hold.

Stellar XLM became one of my favorite coins that made a lot of profit when I traded it.

The price of XLM which at the beginning of January 2018 surprised me because it almost penetrated the price of $1, precisely at the price of $ 0.93. This became my biggest profit when trading XLM.

And in 2019 XLM will also burn half of the XLM supply which would be very good to be used as a long-term investment.
Although currently the price of XLM is still in the area of $ 0.04 (low prices like other coins) I believe XLM is able to penetrate even higher prices. Buy lots of XLM now and Hodl for the next few years.

I think after avoiding scammers the next group of people to avoid is the experts who goes about bringing out various predictions (my opinion though). Many if not all predictions in this market never worked, both the ones made on Bitcoin and the ones made on different altcoins, none has ever worked. I will suggest people should invest because they want to and not because someone else said it. When we invest based on our research it comes with a sense of carefulness but when we invest based on predictions there is every tendency that we might end up regretting it. About trading Stellar, it is one of my good coins and no regrets about it.

Crypto experts? The same ones who have been giving different predictions on several coins which never worked? What if it doesn't go as planned, who are we going to blame? Since we aren't going to blame them then it is wise to make every investment based on our own research and due diligence. My own point of view, for Stellar (XLM), yes it is a top coin and worthy for holding as well but however we ought to know the crypto space is filled with panic, uncertainty etc which makes it unpredictable so let's endeavour to check all risks before taking to heart what the experts said about it.

Bitcoin does make trading much better than Stellar, large volumes and prices tend to follow the market, if you trade bitcoin on the spot market to get more profit you have to use a lot of capital, but for Stellar because of the low price, to get a lot of profit you can using small capital

Yes, obviously, because other coins or Altcoin will only grow and rise in price when Bitcoin starts to rise in price, and that is of course often seen in the market, so in this case it is definitely better to trade bitcoin than others.

This is to show that it has been put to test and was able to pass the test. Not many coins can withstand such sell pressure. The platform of Stellar has been used for so many successful projects. Even those that were thought of to be scam even succeeded. The same was thought of lots of projects on the Ethereum platform, yet some of them performed beyond a reasonable doubt.

Personally I do not find it attractive trading Stellar coin, am more of a holding type because I like and trust the project. It is not that trading Stellar is not good but it's just my preference. Also, Stellar is one of the few good coins we have in this space and I believe when traders carry out their research well on it, there are good tendencies of having profits. Nevertheless, I hardly believe all these predictions because there are many things which can affect the market anytime and a good example is this pandemic.

XLM Price Analysis – Golden Crossover!

The positive news is that yesterday there was a golden crossover in the daily exchange rate, which confirmed that bullish trend is in the medium term. The golden ratio is at $0.065 and this can be briefly interrupted by the Stellar Lumens price only when its price touches the horizontal resistance between $0.073 – 0.079. This is where the Stellar Lumens price was strongly rejected and it is currently finding support between $0.055 – $0.058.

Stellar has been one of the most satisfying cryptocurrencies to trade on reason being that, there is massive liquidity, several cryptocurrency exchanges where it is being traded on, a good historical data backing it up and above all, it is fairly stable in price making it a perfect cryptocurrency for swing trading and intraday trading. I have been applying my trading strategy on xlm trading and I must say, it's been hugely successful.

Stellar (XLM) on the rise after a month-long drop

Stellar’s price suffered throughout June, spiraling down from $0.085 to $0.061. However, the drop suddenly stopped a few days ago, and XLM already started looking for an opportunity to grow and make a few strong supports that would let it climb back up.

Is stellar that good for trading? The answer is no for me because there are better top altcoins that are way better, to pick a good altcoin for trading you have to make sure that the Altcoin is very responsive to Bitcoin, like when Bitcoin surge the coin will revaluate very quickly, the example of such coin is NEO

Lol, among all the altcoins you have shown as an example the worst one. Since 2018, NEO after price drop could not recover for ages. What kind of "revaluate" you are talking about if on NEO blockchain only 1-3 projects per year are released. Deadcoin.

I am for a long term with stellar too, I have it for a long time and I just add more when I can. I don't follow Stellar fluctuations and I don't trade with it. I am still with top coins for trading, they have the highest fluctuations and for me, that's the best for trading. I don't trust crypto experts anymore. most of them are manipulators and they only want people to be psychologically fomo so that professionals can sell for a higher price. This trick has been around a lot and we should be cautious when reading such news. Most coins experience price drop after the alt season early 2018. Now its hard to reach their last ath again and stellar is among of these alts who has potential but the price is not showing major growth. Its a good coin indeed but just like other top coins it takes time before we can see these alts soaring high again. Nevertheless if you believe in stellar coin just buy and hold.

as long as they still have a hefty market, I think the potential we can still expect for stellar coins. but indeed that time will not come quickly. even today some traders may use XLM to withdraw their money from one exchange to another exchange because the costs are fairly cheap.

did xlm actually came up with this idea associated inside the exchange  . that can be one of thier advantage from ganining momentum aside from being traded and invested regularly   .

I sold off my XLM bag at 1050 sats yesterday, since i got in very early. I normally do not hold altcoins just because influencers predict price rise in future, I do my technical analysis and decide the price to sell which will fetch profit snd not otherwise. However, I'm a big fan of Stellar, since I benefited from their airdrop in the past and the team members keep developments rolling. My altcoin profit is principally for adding more BTC to my portfolio.

This coin is really very volatile and allows you to earn good money on trading, but you can also hold it in the long term. I don’t understand why you do not trust XLM. It has a very good team and community support
Yeah right, I see XLM is very suitable for daily trading because the price movements very volatile, So for those who want to trade daily maybe I would suggest XLM, Not for long-term investment, because we do not know how the future of this coin.

The last time I had the opportunity to participate in Stella project was last year December through the keybase App. I was given xlm that worth almost $500. I had to sell all the xlm. Thinking the coin will come down later, but my predictions were wrong, and Stella is doing just great. Though I still have few friends who has hundreds of xlm in their wallet. Good for them, no one knows xlm will be doing so well like this.

Stellar is one of the best altcoins to hold, despite stellar network doing various of giveaways thorugh Airdrop to create more awareness about their platform and what they have to offer, the coin still manages to maintain the normal market price and even sometimes still pumps when Airdropers are trying to dump. XLM is a coin to hold for a very long time.

I see in XLM stellar good opportunity to speculations in the trading. It often does -10% and +10% this could be a good opportunity if this trand is frequently in the month. btw I don't really trust in the project
So, we should only use stellar to day trade or short term holding and nothing else? The spread from -10% and +10% look attractive enough for me but I don't, seeing people doesn't trust the coin harm the chance to minimize the loss.

Yes, im trade and hold it. Volume transaction (24h) about $480,000,000. Also rank 14 based on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stellar/. I see this good coin for long term. Stellar also have special advantages. Transaction fee is so cheap, that's why many people buy this coin to reduce withdraw fee

Stellar Lumens Sustainable by not Mining XLM Transactions are Easier with Revolut and Legal Right

Stellar Lumens (XLM) does not make use of nodes to mine XLM. This is a good factor contributing to its sustainability.  There is nothing called rewards for the network participants for validating and stuff like that.  They simply started off issuing around 100 billion XLM when they first started.  And, they decided they will increase the overall supply by 1% per year for an overall period of 6 years.

There are gold speculations here with stellar and most were positive into this coin. However most of the coins were crashed when bitcoin was halving. Many had thought that it is the end of cryptocurrency on that time. But seeing now most of the crypto recover then it is already a positive sign to continue the cryptocurrency endeavors.

Fast forward 7-8 months - you were right mate, it doubled its value and went even over it.

Upon checking the price movement of stellar from January 2020 up until now, I see that it's price was able to increase pretty good. Last January it's price was 0.04$ and right now it is currently sitting at 0.096$.

It doubled it's price which is good especially if many were able to stock some XLM last January 2020 then I am sure that they are now earning a good amount of profit. It's ATH was 0.93$ so there is still a huge chance that it's price will continue to grow especially if the market will continue to go upward.

If you look at Stellar's price, which has not increased significantly since 2018, I am sure many investors do not choose Stellar for trading,
but instead use Stellar as a long-term investment. Since Stellar is one of the top altcoins with high volume, holding Stellar is a very good
decision. And also Stellar has cheap and fast transaction fees, so it is great to use to move funds from one exchanges to another.

Everyone has the right to choose what they want to invest in the long term. but it is not wrong to see other types of coins that have great opportunities in the future.
Yes, it is clear that everyone has the right to choose what they want to invest, because everyone has the right to benefit and also has the right to lose, so careful consideration is more important than everyone's right to choose an investment.

Yes, but for now it is also not uncommon for things that we think are good at first but eventually become bad, so analysis and research must always be there so that we can judge the pros and cons of a market situation before we carry out further struggles, even though we also we cannot fully ascertain the pros and cons of a market through the analysis and research that we do, but at least we already know where the market is going.

I experienced this 3 years ago. These coins are great to invest in and experience good things every month but over time. The coin only lasts 1 year to have a good price.

There's always time for each projects, back then this coin also jumped high as the bull market really caters most of those alts around the market. Nowadays this coin still bringing something but you need to be more close as you have to monitor the movements in order to compensate from those project, there's ups and down that you can follow and start to collect decent profits.

It is a good payment coin like Ripple, without its the centralized nature. Some prefer this over XRP as it sticks to the essence of how cryptocurrencies were created and transacted.

If your patience is high to deal with it will pay off, don't be too quick to judge what happened in the beginning because there will be a good ending later. continue to struggle
To get profits in trading, any kind of patience won't work without a single experience. In trade or hold, you can get profits from every top altcoins. Although I'm getting some XLM staking rewards, it's very low. Stellar isn't the best way to trade altcoins. Others volatile top altcoins might be the right options.

In my opinion, Stellar has made a good return on investment for me in the last year and I am still investing in it today too. I believe this project has great opportunities in the future. so, I'll keep holding on to it.
Yes, and it is very clear that Stellar tokens are good tokens and have good ratings on several sites, so it wouldn't be wrong if you always choose these tokens for the long term, but you should also always monitor the daily rounds of prices for these tokens, so you can make a profit in the short term.

To be honest, I think Ethereum is the best platform for smart contracts, and this particular coin forms the basis of my portfolio. But nevertheless, I am very good about stellar and I think that this platform also has good prospects. In addition, I invested a certain amount in Stallar, and based on the Stellar platform, I own a certain number of different tokens, quite promising companies, one of which is KuBitX and BBD.

I had several Stellar (XLM) coins; I sold most of it there a few months ago, still in small quantities. Although Stellar (XLM) is currently relatively low, I think Stellar currency has great potential in the long run. There are huge investors in these coins.

The ups and downs of the stellar coin price can happen at any time, because it all depends on market demand, but all of that cannot be separated from the ups and downs of bitcoin prices, if bitcoin prices will soar at the end of this year, chances are stellar will also go up, but if the price of bitcoin  still silent so don't expect the stellar price to rise high

Stellar is on a roll this past week up more than 10% and in the last 24 hours it is up more then 4 %.

This might be related to the recent news that XLM Blockchain will begin to support USDC.

This will be the third Blockchain to support USDC.
