When I knew about bitcoin, it was about 10,000 USD. I started understanding how it emerged and how it works. I did (and still do) my best to promote bitcoin too (include my purchase of a branded bitcoin shirt). Though the increase of bitcoin between 2009 - 2019 is the biggest increase I've ever seen, nothing got me as weak as this (a thread Laszlo made on the 18th of may 2010)


Reading thought this, I felt somehow. First is because he was doing that just to promote the bitcoin. Second is that he offered 10,000 bitcoins for it. 😕
Since I went through that post, I've been feeling weird though I learnt something but....... That is touching 😔

I know that many people are focused on the 10,000 bitcoins (wishing they could get it) but then, let us ALWAYS PROMOTE BITCOIN.
Laszlo served as a very good example here by trying to use bitcoin (22/5/2010) to purchase pizza (and obviously, his goal was achieved as bitcoin is now used for purchase).  Let us all find a way to promote bitcoin! It is for "us"!

I dont think we still need to promote it. There are many services that you can use Bitcoin even paying your bills right now depends on the country  and they are many online store accepting bitcoin mode as payment . What kind of advertisment you still want to see?

With time we've been getting more and more services that accept bitcoin. More we promote more will be the growth of bitcoin, and now this is serving as an alternate to make transactions yet the usage isn't big as various centralized source that perform the same work. Only through continued promotion this can be attained, so everyone in the cryptocurrency market should set a target of introducing crypto to atleast ten new users.

If what you just said is what the person who introduced you to bitcoin said, then you wouldn't have known bitcoin. There's nothing like we don't need to promote it when it hasn't been fully adopted. We need to bring new people to this. Just like Romero said, we can fix a goal of introducing bitcoin to at least 10 new people. Imagine when each person in this bitcointalk forum bring 10 people, Just imagine how wild the fire would be.

It's really good but not necessary. Lots of promotions, spreading awareness, encouragement were already done in the past, by at least each of us. Other people saw the potential of getting involved in bitcoin. My friends saw what bitcoin gave to me. Bitcoin awareness here in our country improves year by year. Our famous local crypto exchange site involved in the payment process system bringing a big awareness of what bitcoin is.

But in the end, why others are still not taking part in the bitcoin community?

That's because it's not interesting to them no matter how good bitcoin is. It is fine for me as no need to force someone. Let them come on their own and if they are really serious they will seek guidance from us.

I think it is more on adoption, the more people will know Bitcoin, the more people will use it.
But for me, as time goes by, Bitcoin is spreading, day by day, there are new people being introduced to Bitcoin.

For my experience with this, asking some people or entities if they accept Bitcoin for their products or services is also one of the best ways of promoting Bitcoin.
Why? Because in that way, they will become curious about Bitcoin (if they don't know what is that thing), so that's the start of the story.
There are a lot of ways to promote Bitcoin like also holding some amount of Bitcoin is party promoting Bitcoin.

I won't agree thoroughly with this. Because in my country, people are not aware. Some haven't even heard the name bitcoin before. You don't know how many more people who are out there that just haven't heard of bitcoin. I'm sure you heard of Jesus. In fact, I'll say everyone has. That's the way I wish bitcoin is. Even if they don't believe in it, let them know about it. 🤷‍♂

We can increase the awareness if we will also promote the bitcoin. Speaking of promotion, I keep discussing the bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies to my friends and relatives. At first they did not give a care but when I show the earnings that I get from day trading, they started to see it as important. Through speaking, the awareness of other people about bitcoin can increase.

I think everybody has done it before when they found out about Bitcoin,
They would talk about it to their friends and family because they found out something new.
But most of the time we would only be ignored since they don't like it.

as investors you know there is a risk its not easy to convince people to invest just because you want them to addopt bitcoin.
Other than that what will be the benefit of the people who introduce btc to people if he only have a few coins.

yes you are right op we must always promote bitcoin so that more people know about bitcoin. we can directly promote bitcoin to our family, relatives and friends. with the increase in people who understand and use bitcoin, this will also encourage mass adoption. and with the increase in bitcoin users will have a positive impact on the price of bitcoin. now many stores and companies are willing to accept bitcoin as a means of payment.

I always do my best and try to explain BTC for people around me, it's hard because I don't want to influence anyone to buy/sell/trade BTC, but I explain the fundamentals, how it works and why BTC is good to us for the future

at this time without even being promoted bitcoin will be known to many people, when someone benefits from bitcoin, others will also follow in his footsteps without being told, but if you want to promote maybe it will be better, especially to dismiss negative prejudices about bitcoin, as we know many people who think bitcoin is a scam.

There is a risk in telling it to then, I did tell it to my family and friends and some did buy and apparently when BTC prize drops they blame me even I told them that price is volatile. Just explain them how risky it is and they will for sure not use it. People want easy money which is impossible in investing.

There are many ways we can promote Bitcoin and thus helping it to one day be truly mainstream. You see the biggest problem (at least to me, I guess) with the adoption of Bitcoin is that we are not actually creating a demand of it in our everyday lives all because majority of people who are into Bitcoin are just holders or the speculative type who will do everything possible so they will not use their Bitcoin to buy anything online or even offline. Had there been a critical number of people who are using Bitcoin everyday, a  wonderful economy can be created with Bitcoin as the currency and not just a store of value (though there is nothing wrong with that function, actually). In other words, using Bitcoin to buy anything can be one of the best and effective ways we are promoting Bitcoin. The problem is, we are not doing it.

Bitcoin was way more different in the past, at least in terms of value.  When Laszlo bought that iconic pizza, the price of Bitcoin was more or less zero. There was no transaction that uses and accepts Bitcoin and that particular pizza purchase became history because it was done as a starting point and as a strong statement that Bitcoin is now a currency.

Of course we should also explain to them the risks that they can take if they will make investment with bitcoin. If we will encourage them, we should make sure that they have prior information on what they can get. Promoting is good, as a bitcoin user; we should spread what we know about bitcoin in other people. Just make sure that we are spreading legit information.

I don't know where you are from but there are still people who don't know much about bitcoin and most likely the few ones who have any knowledge about them see it as a fraudulent investment plan. So yeah, there is still the need to clear this negative and narrowed perception about bitcoin and also encouraging sellers to integrate the use of bitcoin as a payment method.

Basically, a simple question we ask for each store if tbey are offering bitcoin as payment is already a good way to promote bitcoins. We might have not much bitcoins with us, but when stores starts to accepts bitcoin as payment will impact demand greatly. Pizza is a great example of this great adverrisement, though the opposite which is to ask bitcoin for payment is also effective. It could definitely drive store owners to think of putting bitcoin to their systems.

This is the generation of internet and bitcoin has already been promoted many times on social media.
I think bitcoin already has all the fame it needed but the thing is that it has got a lot of negative promotion as well.
This is the main reason why bitcoin is not globally accepted yet. Only when people's perspective towards bitcoin changes, it will start mass adoption all over the world.

Laszlo paid 10,000 bitcoins for 2 Pizzas and he became a legend in the Bitcoin community and part of the Bitcoin history. When this hit the media, people suddenly realized that Bitcoin was actually a currency and not just some Monopoly/fake money and more people started to buy it and accept it as a payment on their websites.  ;)

Laszlo promoted Bitcoin, not even knowing what massive impact his 10,000 bitcoins would have on this experiment in the future.  ;) We can all have the same impact, by just dropping a small pebble in the pond and creating a ripple that would grow into a wave.

Also inform them that bitcoin is not certain and the market is volatile just before they invest in bitcoin. After telling them the advantages of bitcoin, also tell them the disadvantages for them to become ready when it's price goes down. Its price is always the problem of bitcoin and there's no specific season when it will increase its price again up to $10k. For now, just continue using it and sharing it to others, just let them react or do something, if they don't then it's okay because you have a lot of friends to tell it.

We still need to promote Bitcoin though. It's not enough to stop promoting Bitcoin to the public. We can use Bitcoin when paying utility bills but not everyone can. Not every country can. It's not enough when there's only few merchants who knows Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are existing as a payment option.
I think every single one of us had promoted Bitcoin with your family and friends. And that's great! But we still need to aim more.

I feel that more people will have financial freedom when they are interested in Bitcoin. But I get a little sad when there are nations that prohibit their population from using it in their economic activities.
It has not been easy to introduce Bitcoin everywhere. it is required to educate the population and create business models that work for their use.

In my case, if my boss says to me: Now you will receive your payment in Bitcoin I would be glad the simple fact or I could see with great satisfaction commercial establishment that says: Here, We accept Bitcoin. And at best, that I can to verify that Bitcoin allowed solutions to a population that lacked economic well-being.
So I would agree on the promote Bitcoin!

Just on Sunday, my brother asked me about bitcoin. He said "if I invest 550$ in bitcoin, how much will I make in 6 months?" I told him that bitcoin isn't done that way and that there's every tendency that in a day, bitcoin price could increase 2x its price. And vice versa. But I surely told him that he can never lose in the sense that even if btc reduces and he thinks it's a loss, patience and time would refund his loss.

See, we just have to be more explanatory. I even used the inspiring story of how bitcoin rose from 0.008$ to what we can see today.

Bitcoin has all the fame it needed? Where? Bitcoin hasn't gotten any fame. Maybe you're just overly surrounded with a lot of people into crypto.

Tell me, What happens to a bike when you stop throttling it? It will definitely stop moving!! The bike here represents bitcoin. We are on the bike, the throttle is our promotion. The more we throttle (promote) the faster the bike (bitcoin) moves. So, my point is that we should throttle more so as to take bitcoin to a more further distance.

It's not a matter of how we are going to promote Bitcoin it's a matter of when we are going to start the promotion because we can always promote Bitcoin in a unique way that we know. Even if you have small audience, your contribution is already a steeping forward for Bitcoin to known widely.

I love promoting Bitcoin to my friends, families and relatives because in other way I also help them to find some extra income by letting them know the advantages of Bitcoin.

I personally think that is more important to offer btc payment solutions to the merchants and business owners.
You can promote bitcoin but people read about great ideas and projects every day.
We have to show and prove to the people that btc can help them in everyday life or make life more easy.
Good example is from my country.
Some apartment owners became interesting in btc because their young clients often asked about possibility to pay in btc.
One local company heard about it and sew opportunity.
They developed simple app so that clients can pay bill in btc but owners receive payment in local currency.
In such ways btc will become more popular and more people will use it ,  not just because of promotion.

This is a great way of explaining what happened when Laszlo bought the pizza and what will happen when we promote bitcoin (in a way we think isn't really effective).
Laszio couldn't tell that his small pebble could cause such great ripple. So, one can never tell what his/her little promotion can do. 🤷‍♂

Let's just strive hard and promote bitcoin more!

We know that promotion is everything if we want to introduce something to the public. The more promotion that we do in out there can help bitcoin grow, and whether it is growing fast or slow, it still trying to reach new people every day. And now, with the help of the internet connection, the job of the promotion will not be difficult because people now can easily access the internet, and they can access the internet using their mobile phone.

Laszlo did a great thing in the past, he introduces a way to buy pizza using bitcoin, and he did that. Now, we see that bitcoin can be a way to buy something, especially to buy a product on the internet. Soon, we will see a transformation from fiat into crypto in real life, or we already saw that in our real-life because some countries have already allowed their people to use bitcoin to buy something in the local store.

this story should inspire a lot of people so that bitcoin is big now, because everyone from the beginning has been promoting bitcoin so that many adoptions are done out there, to be honest this also inspires me to continue to promote bitcoin in my own way, because there is no promotion then there will be no adoption

What we need to introduce bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies to more people is a mass promotion because how can we achieve the goal of adopting crypto  world by the people if we are only few who promotes it? We need help most especially the help of an artist, famous personality or celebrity because they can easily encourage people through the use of their famousness and also their titles.

Now that we don't need to do that, people around the world now seem to know about bitcoin and its effects over the years. But most people look at it negatively because there are many organizations that manipulate bitcoin because it is unregulated. anyway, due to the manipulation and freedom of trading it becomes increasingly valuable, we should be part of this decentralized market that has made a lot of money from it.

lol if you don't know what are you saying here,bitcoin can be used not only in Online store,because there are other offline stores and service that can be paid by Bitcoins and other altcoins so i think you need to learn more first before posting  here.
are you serious asking this?if every single cryptonians or bitcoiners will spend 10-20 minutes of their time reaching people surrounds them,to tell some good things about crypto in months i am sure there will be another one that will invest and trust crypto,so the more time we spend the more the market will grow.

Who would be the one that wont think or would see that 10k bitcoins? Knowing into its current price is really high for a pizza.
I do somehow get your point yet no one actually knows on whats ahead or the future that's why its somewhat frustrating or regretful thing
to see on how much those bitcoins worth if it wasn't spent.Today, adoption is on the move but majority is surely looking to hold up their

Laszlo dropped the first pebble in terms of spending Bitcoin. And the ripples that that experiment had caused has reached the farthest corners of the world and made people drop their own pebbles as well. And together we are now making waves. Those people that have a negative impression? I don't really think so. I believe that if we can teach those who haven't know well about bitcoin, together with them, it won't be a big deal reaching those with negative impressions.

A disclosure is useless if the listener does not want to listen or is unable to understand. We approached out of curiosity to understand and saw a submerged world that keeps the masses in ignorance and illusion. Only people who have a critical and analytical spirit can understand bitcoin.
But the best promotion will be given, over time, by the crises and the cancellation of our purchasing power.

It was totally devastating knowing that the thing you spend thinking that at such time it isn't worth beyond your thinking then later on it would be even cost a brand new house. You're right but, in most cases, the way the listener is approached matters a lot. You can start with a different topic and end up linking it with bitcoin 🤷‍♂

Bitcoin is really good for the transaction tool and it has felt by me. Currently, I bought a shoes from different country and gratefully the merchant use bitcoin as their payment system tool. And the transaction was held with a few moment and the shoe that I bought has recieved in three days.

And do you know? There is some of my friend asked me when I bought the shoes because they wanted it. I told them how to bought it and I recommend them to buy it with bitcoin and it is work, some of my friend use bitcoin to buy the shoes and they asked me what exactly bitcoin is. So, I'll guide them to learn about bitcoin slowly at least if they buy something especially when the merchant use bitcoin they must choose bitcoin as payment system.

may indeed require people who have the enthusiasm to find out more information, because people who only want to know they will find out only a small amount of information without wanting to find out deeper. maybe if giving information to people who have a high level of curiosity will be difficult if we do not have more knowledge as well.

I agree that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies need promotion and awareness campaign, people are still not very familiar with that subject and relatively small number of overall people in the world is using Bitcoin.
Individual promotion is ok and I beleive that every Bitcoin user does some kind of promotion on its own way but for quality, continuous promotion we would need a system and strategy. Although in practice I don't know how that could be done in efficient way because there is no formal body or institution in charge for Bitcoin that would take care on promotion.

There are many ways to do that, at least what you have said is part of the way that can be done as well and will still be useful. the most appropriate is to give a real example of us getting things because of bitcoin, it will attract them to hear and want to receive the right information.

I think he wants an advertisement like promoting it in social media or even in television. Because by that it can reach more people and become aware of what bitcoin is.  Actually I tried before to endorse it to my friend but she get bored and dont believe on me that bitcoin really exist and other cryptocurrency.

Using social media as a media promotion will help to gather more audiences because I see that now people tend to search for new friends, relations, or even lovers in social media. With giving information to them, we can expect they will learn about bitcoin, and they will try to use bitcoin so that they will get the benefit from bitcoin. But if somehow, they don't want to listen for what we give, we don't have to think about them, and if they see by themselves, I am sure that they will come to us and they will need an explanation from us.

Today is different from 10 years ago where bitcoin must be promoted by everyone. At the moment without our promotion bitcoin will be known for what it has shown on the trading market.
Our task now should be to protect the cryptocurrency ecosystem in order to achieve the goals of bitcoin itself for the welfare of all people is no exception.

It serves as a guiding beacon of light in dark times, it proves that patience is a virtue because later on a few years later the market price would have made the initial 10,000 Bitcoins worth a staggering few hundred million(if you use the 2017 Bitcoin high of $20,000) Sometimes I want to neglect my Due Diligence skipping from checking the market charts everyday, thinking there wont be much change, but because of the nature of Bitcoins volatility the market prices can change drastically in a short amount of time.  :'(

Always cool to see posts like these. I think it's great people keep talking about bitcoin and promoting the use of it. Popular culture things too like art (or your tee shirt) I think do a lot, subconsciously, over the years to keep the conversations around bitcoin flowing. But don't forget to also keep using it as much as possible. When there's a bitcoin alternative to pay for things (or even to receive money), use it! Ask for it, support it! Keep doing it!

Promoting on bitcoin is really cool even on the internet or social media. But this might be putting on us also at risk if we have hold a massive amount of bitcoin and probably our lives will put in danger. Wearing T-0shirt would be nice and cool but just to make it sure you don't have to bring your bitcoin wallet out, probably you might rub by someone who also knows bitcoin. There are bad people who are willing to commit a crime just to have an easy valuable bitcoin, we should be careful by that. Indeed, promoting bitcoin is a good idea, but it should at the right way.

Somehow, I disagree with you.  Bitcoin still needs to be promoted even though there are already several services and company that utilizes it.  If we keep quiet about Bitcoin and no one is to promote it, these services will die and Bitcoin will be affected.   The most needed thing for adoption is promotion through awareness campaigns and advertisements.

Aside from that, there are more people who still do not know about bitcoin. The reason for it is because they are out of reach, if ever that we continue to promote it, it will help for the own good of bitcoin. Those who are still not in reach are possible investors, so, this promotion thing is what we really need right now.

Merchants adoption will be the best promotion of bitcoin. We need merchants first of all

I can say that promoting bitcoin is really for us because at the end of the day we will be the one who will benefit the most when bitcoin becomes boom and bitcoin go higher. Through promoting bitcoin we will be able to attract different people who have different perspective in the online world as well as the online currency in which we will share knowledge with them. It would really good if every crypto users will introduce atleast a minimum of 10 new users in order for us the community to grow, we can start on introducing it in our family and friends because they are the one who will trust us the most.

I am a clothing seller and I display some T-shirts featuring bitcoin with writings that are good enough to introduce bitcoin to every visitor who comes. That is the way I promote bitcoin. But unfortunately, I cannot accept bitcoin as an in-store payment, because in my country, it is illegal.

I think it also helps our own little way of promoting it. There are many other ways as well in promoting it through the services it serves. We can also do our part by being proud of it and being consistent of using it. We can influence others as well and they can see it on our living improvement and helping others as well.

I am already promoting Bitcoin when my mini business started last year. I was receiving Bitcoin payments, but only few because there were few users here in our place and most of them are my friends. It really is hard to teach people what it is if they themselves don't want to know. Maybe the next generation could do better as they are open in many different kinds of things such as this unlike old folks out and everywhere.

Well, actually our local section truly supports the use of bitcoin wherein one of the forum member who acts as our leader in our community who is cabalism13 came to a point that he and the other recognized member created a customized Pilipinas Bitcointalk Org Shirt (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197737.0). To be honest, I am excited to wear this out in public but I do not know what happened to the planning of printing of the Organization shirt  ???. I hope that in the next coming months, they will decide to push and make their plan a reality to increase the exposure of bitcoin and the blockchain technology as well  ;)

Furthermore, promoting bitcoin needs consistency because most people are not into investing and most of them are afraid due to its unstable nature of prices. However, I think we should not just focus in promoting bitcoin but the blockchain itself as well. Bitcoin will not be very possible to be implemented if there is no decentralized network called blockchain that puts out the corrupt regimes of middlemen or banks. Bitcoin is both a new development of technology and currency as well. BTCitcoin is just the first application of one of the most mind boggling technology called blockchain.

These are just one of the opinions that came up to my mind when reading this interesting topic.

Promoting Bitcoin isn't easy especially if you promoted it to the wrong persons.

Although there are many ways to promote and advertise Bitcoin right now, the final decision will be on the people themselves if they want to engage themselves in crypto and invest their money into it. If some have business here, they can accept Bitcoin so that customers will be curious about it. There are many companies that are promoting Bitcoin in social media already and there are many youtube vloggers regarding cryptocurrency. I don't see that we, ourselves need to promote it. The only thing that I can do is to support it.

To be honest, I don't want to spread anything about cryptocurrency around my environment because I feel that they are not interested into it.

That's the same thing I have in mind when it comes to promoting cryptocurrency, but I really do consider the fact that there will no adoption to happen if I continue to ignore possible contributions I could provide. Thus, developing some steps such as selling load transactions and telling them that's the best option I have to transact to them even if we aren't met in personal, so building up their trust to me, will also build up their trust to the system we have.

Yes we can make bitcoin better and it will be benifecial for us in return we have to work together and eliminate harms like scams and we can form groups to bring new ideas and projects for bitcoin.

some of my friends have started contacting me again, I just said one thing to them a year ago, "if it's really hard to use it, then please monitor and compare bitcoin prices starting from Q2 in 2020". I think they are very active in analyzing it, especially when bitcoin is down and saturated at $ 6k. what I have promoted so far is more on chart development because they are only interested in that.

That very little thing we do for Bitcoin will be really have a great impact once all people becomes curious and will use Bitcoin in their everyday life. Especially introducing and convincing out family and friends to look at what crypto is and how it can be useful in our life at the present and in the future.

This is gonna be a good thing since we are trying to let them know what is the real cause of bitcoin to us. We should tell them the possible happenings and possible effect if they are going to invest into it. We should educate them so that the bitcoin community will grow even more. Yes, as soon as I discovered bitcoin I told my friends about this interesting coin but people didn't like it.
My friends thought that bitcoin was just a joke and it didn't have any value, until now maybe they realized that they missed a great opportunity.

If we promote bitcoin as a payment method perhaps it's not a good idea since it has so many competitors which better than it whether the fee is cheaper or supported by the government. We all know that bitcoin isn't suited for small transactions, on the other hand, bitcoin is not accepted widely as payment system also bitcoin is being banned in some countries  in terms of payment method, they can only use it as an investment tool.

Well, it is very obvious that Bitcoin has attained its popularity all over the world. Say, if 1 person discovered Bitcoin today, he/she can share it with 5 people and  that 5 people would do the same to another 5 and would cause a big spread already considering the population of the world. However, despite of it being the 'talk of the town' few people still have the guts to enter because they are still not knowledgeable. So, I think what they need is education, just an overview and important facts about Bitcoin. Other stuffs can come in later and ca be discovered just like what I did.

promoting bitcoin is really good for us, we should work seriously for its promotion. As it creates multiple opportunities for us, especially for young generations, we should promote it among our family and friend circle. We should set a target and start from ourselves. The idea of introducing ten new users is a very good, we should now make it applicable by creating awareness among more and more people. I think promotion is still very important to increase adoption of bitcoin. When bitcoin promotion gets higher then this will also give a lot of knowledge to someone and change the company's thinking about bitcoin. Just like when you see an ad, when you first see an ad it is not interesting for you to know but when the ad continues to appear then you will have a curiosity about the ad, which in the end maybe you can adopt the contents of the ad.

I think that bitcoin is already promoted enough in our century at least now, it's really getting to be known over the world and also when the bitcoin's price touch the 19.5k$ by the end of December 2017. A lot of people around the globe knows about bitcoin and how good it is and some of them, they just don't care about it because they didn't know how good this cryptocurrency is and what impact this coin will do in the future.

It's really up to people themselves to stay educated and up to date with current things. I guess if some people have absolutely no interest in it and are doing fine living a good life they ok but I still say that money is important to everyone regardless of its form. I am only concerned about what is going on in my own life. What others do is their business/problem.

I usually don’t stress myself with the promoting of Bitcoin, there are already lots of articles that talks about Bitcoin online and if you want to know about it you should go and read those articles, it’s not my job to do that. Before, I promoted bitcoin in the place where I lived but I got criticize by other people because they think that I am a scammer. There are types of people who will not easoly belive on other peoples opinion and it is a major problem for others who want to promote bitcoin. From my own street here there are a wide belief that bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme mainly because it was used by the already bankrupt MMM in payment thus the impression around here is that bitcoin is a scam however I took it up on myself to sensitize them and change their negative perspection about bitcoin to a positive one although it has been tough but I would to continue to do so.

Individual bitcoin user promoting bitcoin and Mass advertisement is already there. the only problem is people are still doubtful/hesitant or uninterested in bitcoin or blockchain because

In addition to mass advertisement, some advertisement are not that interesting or less informative thats why people may refuse to believe sometimes it is all about the skills of the one who advertises a project or campaign and also it depends on how they encourage and persuade people in order for them to join a certain project. Maybe sometimes we need to use flowery words in order for them to believe.

The problem with that story is that new people who read that and then immediately check the price of a Bitcoin today and calculate how much it will be right now. And after that even if they buy Bitcoin or other crypto they'll start thinking that what if the same thing happens with me..? I have sold bitcoins when the price was around 2000$, I don't have regret about that as I was in need of money and it was used for necessary things. I do spend crypto on things and tell people to do the same as it's easier than Fiat.

I have no idea. I think there are more effective things like investing and trading than just making payments for services and products using BTC. This is just my view because fiat is still more effective when used for micropayments. There are other ways that can be used to promote bitcoin, for example by showing the results you get from investing with BTC, it's better I think. Maybe what the OP wants is its functionality for payment, but for me at the moment it's still lacking.

I think its no need to promote what bitcoin needed is to solve its scalability issues, 7 tps is pretty slow compared to some current payments systems such as visa/mastercard bitcoin is created as a new payment system and digital money so how can we use bitcoin if still many problems are facing right now the only signifant uses of bitcoin right now is for investment and trading.

I only mention it to people when I feel like, and if they need more explanation to understand everything about it, I help them do that.
