Title: Are you sure crypto is the future currency?
Post by: crypto01721 on January 18, 2020, 04:56:56 PM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.

in order for the cryptocurrency to be used around the world, we will need a lot of time. Now we are not technically prepared for mass use. for the ordinary people to use the cryptocurrency, it must become convenient and quick to use, but now only some coins that are centralized have it, and governments and many other people do not want to trust their money to some unknown people who can manage the future of their project

I believe that crypto will be the world's currency. However i think stable coins are more suitable. There are many things to do with the security to make sure that the world's economic can be relayed on it.

Crypto currencies will indeed be the most preferred digital currency if we get mass adoption but I don't think any country has made crypto as it's official currency except the fact that Venezuela made a headline that they will launch their own crypto named Petro. There is still a long way to go for crypto to be used just like any other online payment methods.

Maybe, maybe not. Nobody can tell with 100% accuracy that bitcoin will be the future currency. But yes there is a possibility that said by many economic analysts. It will happen as soon as the governments of the world will legalize cryptocurrency. But it is not so easy. The maximum countries in the world are against crypto now or they don't want to talk clearly about crypto. So it will come in the future but it is not so near to now. we need to wait for some years.

Everything have self moment and not keep continue for long time, although bitcoin have higher price right now I think always have little chance for bitcoin and altcoin become  nothing with lower price at the future, maybe when have and got much profit better with invest in your real investment like make your store or buy some real estate investment.

Well lots of things can happen and one of that is what were thinking about having a slowly but surely mass adoption of cryptocurrency in the world and then after that cryptocurrency will be our future but i also been thinking about the situation of countries having their own fiat currency becomes digitalized because every country has their fiat that represents them as a country so its hard to think of making way to cryptocurrency but i'm hoping that crypto can compete with fiat in terms of usage in the near futre

Can't really say if cryptocurrency will really be the future currency because there are countries who are still unfavorable with cryptocurrency and more people still don't trust cryptocurrency. People will still purchase goods with the use of paper money instead of digital money, so it will take long for us to know if crypto has a chance to be accepted by the government in every country.

No it wont and crypto would really just remain on what it should be - alternative payment option. Come to think that replacing fiat currency is really impossible

as long  government do exist this thing wont really happen but somehow if crypto would be on fullest adoption it would remain as just an alternative which is better
rather than for us to see for crypto to be banned anywhere.

No, I won't. Crypto will remain an alternative currency as what we saw now. Probably it will once cryptos are regulated by the government and it is manipulated by them. Currency? I think that is not the mindset of some crypto enthusiasts now. They are holding their crypto just because they think that it is a valuable asset that someday they will gain profit on it. Spending daily will may consider as a currency.

We are only in the first phase so can not be sure of anything, this market has only appeared for more than 10 years and it is still not too popular. We will need a lot of time for this market to grow and more countries to accept it, but I also hope that in the future, cryptocurrencies will be accepted as a currency and widely used

you should keep one thing in your mind that the world is going to more advance digital Era, nowadays people converting their businesses to online and you know that cryptocurrency is playing a big role and the other good point is that crypto transaction fees is too much low and secure and fast payment processor more than our fiat currency.

Surely cryptocurrencies (POW one) have a lot to offer, e.g., permissionless, transparency, security, immutability, etc., however:

this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
It's not only a matter of time but also development-wise. At the moment, no crypto can handle worldwide transactions. It's still a long way to go, in my opinion.

Maybe the future of the currency is not a cryptocurrency, but something brand new. You just have to think out of the box ;)

No! Crypto that depends on the internet can never be a secure future currency. There has to be an offline currency that can be used and adopted by everyone no matter if they have access to the internet or not. Also, except ETH, I don't find any crypto currency stable enough to be used as fiat. Maybe some country will come up with a better option that would be crypto-related and be pegged to fiat so that it's easier to trade and use.

I believe that one of the most important thing these days is still practical value and real value every solution brings. I am pretty impressed with blockchain implementation cases in real life. A great example here is GET protocol that helps entire ticketing industry. GET Protocol offers a blockchain-based smart ticketing solution that can be used by anybody who needs to issue admission tickets in an honest and transparent way, thereby seeking to eliminate ticket fraud and exorbitant prices. There are already impressing results - partnership with Klaitn (very popular service-centric blockchain platform, Google them), Oerrock festival and much more

As time goes by, our era is continuosly growing. We are in need of something that will be able to improve our way of living like having a faster transaction is just a click whenever you want. For sure, cryptocurrency is our future currency in terms of digital but I guess there is still a fiat money that time.

I like Blokchain technology and this is an extraordinary innovation especially for the digital era in the future, but I personally am not sure if all cryptoqurrency can be used as a currency or transaction tool like paper money. maybe if I trusted bitcoin enough. because the most major bitcoin currency and has a high selling price.

It counts as an alternative currency in the future. Cash will stay and it could become cashless in the future so we will have two currencies at the same time. The local cash that we have which is supported by the government and bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that merchants prefer to accept.
Yes, time will come that crypto will be adopted by most in the world and we just have to wait until it all happens.

in the near future i can see that crypto will be the currencies of many countries, money is part of growth, if many people will know the good use of crypto currencies they will adopt it and use it instead of their local money, in modern days where in everything is digitalized, the demand of cryptocurrencies will increase, especially bitcoin that is already accepted in many countries.

I actually doubt that crypto will be able to replace fiat completely.

An ideal situation would honestly just be fiat and crypto coexisting, with crypto providing aspects of currency that fiat fails to provide, like a long term store of value as well as smart contracts.

It's a bit unrealistic to expect that the government/central banks around the world will just all of a sudden give up on the control that they have over monetary policy and the monetary system in general.

The possibility high here because crypto currencies are going to get more adopting by all over global but they are going to launch a cryptocurrency under Blockchain technology with their own digital digital currencies potential it will be helpful for them and they are not adopting any crypto currencies present available because it will more difficult to regulate them. better to launch their own crypto currencies as China has already planned to launch.

but dude, governments will never go blockchain, not a proper public one anyways.
Imagine the outrage when citizens find out they pay 50k a year to have their politicians dogs walked:P  (and that the dogs been dead for 10 years)
Banks are ALREADY moving to blockchain, they just cant admit it as they screwed over all their custys telling them not to invest in it years ago, check the blockchain patents, 90% banks : /

Cryptocurrency is likely to be used in the future economy, but as long as there is better. I can even believe in the possibility that it was created by governments, taking into consideration the current situation. The current duration may be for trial purposes. Subsequently, they will correct the mistakes they encounter in this time period and start using them as payment methods.
If the government takes a role here then it will be better as long as it can properly maintain the decentralized essence. So this economic evolution can really be adopted as a whole. However, I am more confident that cryptocurrency and fiat will be used together, complementing each other, because there are certain times when using fiat is more effective. If the two are combined, it will create maximum economic activity.

I also have the same thoughts as you, but in my opinion it takes a very long time to achieve all that. there are still many countries that disagree and even forbid, of course this will be a big problem because every country has its own regulations. Another obstacle that will hamper this process is that many people do not know about cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency has high chances to be a currency in the future but it will take long time processing to make this happen. One reason that will clearly doubt people from using this is because of its high volatility. It would be much easiar to use if these cryptos will become stable coins.

But just like fiat money, only few would be dominant. Not all has its own value in the market. Lots of altcoins are being made but some are just forgetten and not being updated in the market. I do agree that cryptocurrency is the future but i think its bad if all businesses would make their own currency.

The first intention cryptocurrency being created was to make a transaction which was not use third party. And I'm not sure for now if cryptocurrency will be the future of money which can be use by all people there since the government will prohibited it. For your information, although the government has accepted cryptocurrency on their country then it is not mean they will allowed its user to use crypto as mean of payment. The government will keep their money fiat as mean of payment and as far as I know the government just accept crypto as an investment place only, there is no intention to accept them as payment system.

Yes, I think it will and I am an optimist person.

Like the PC gaming world wants virtual currency. In the first few months of 2012, E-sports exploded. The industry didn't seem to understand why, but they kept going and money kept pouring in. Businesses began integrating some kind of game currency into their systems. It's a long way but have a shot at it.

If they want to be the future currency, well, it's going to take a lot of time. Because not all people in this world are using  them, a lot of them barely even know them. Official currency? I hope I heard it wrong cause its quite impossible for this to happen. Cryptocurrency is undergone a major adoption by mass community but it doesnt mean it will replace the native currency of ones country. That's their historical treasure and one of the fundamentals of one country. Using blockchain tech is helpful but its not good to replace everything with it.

To replace fiat money in terms of daily transactions, in my opinion it is difficult to shift the role of fiat money. Many underlying factors and one of them is the habit of people in using paper money in daily transactions. Crypto may have good opportunities in the future but not all crypto because only a few are trusted by investors and the public

It's enough for the market to start showing signs of bull for all of you to walk with your heads in the clouds. There's no more use of cryptocurrencies today than there was a month ago when we were at 7000 dollars for Bitcoin and all altcoins were looking like they're about to revisit 2019 lows. Now it's all about how much cryptos are being used and how they're the future.

We aren't in a real bull market yet just like we weren't there in Summer 2019.

I also think that someday people will treat cryptocurrencies like they're treating paypal and credit cards but we'll be old when it happens.

I am sure of it. But I am not 100% sure. If cryptocurrency is not the future, it would be because cryptocurrencies are not as stable as the current fiat currencies. Stability is one feature that is making crypto a viable currency. Stablecoins are rising. They might really have a bright future ahead of them. If not cryptocurrency, we will probably have digital currencies that are not on blockchain.

I certainly agree to it also as the chance that crypto will replace fiat is in the process already, the people are starting to use cashless payments using digital currencies and once the majority of the governments will fully utilize the use of crypto currencies then fiat will surely be replace.

Maybe 10-20 years from now, digital payments will be use widely and the changes will be huge as the technology is keep on advancing also.

in my opinion, crypto will not become a currency or turn into a currency to replace fiat. because the price of crypto is very volatile, of course it will be difficult to determine the buying and selling prices of commodities, so crypto really has no intrinsic value.

of course it requires mass adoption so this can happen. at present, the government only believes in centralized tokens that they make themselves. the problem is, each country has its own currency which they use for daily needs in transactions. in my opinion, cryptocurrency will coexist with fiat forever, and no one feels replaced.

Well i believe so but this is not going to happen anytime soon as there a whole lot of misconceptions still around cryptocurrencies. Hopefully by a decade from now this wrong perception might have changed as people get to learn about cryptocurrencies. As global dept keeps on increasing and making transactions in fiat still is stressful and centralized people would want financial freedom in the future and that's when the adoption of cryptocurrencies is going to kick in.

I am not so sure that the government will accept crypto as a currency. but, I believe that the government will utilize this system to make their own currency. thinking about it, I think it's more beneficial than acknowledging one crypto to replace Fiat. I think they are developing it now. but I'm just guessing....

Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
You already knew this and agreed, then why is your topic sentence in question mark. I think it should be rephrased to show it as a declarative instead of an interrogation that you left it.

Crypto is gaining ground by the day so the possibility of it growing even more bigger than what it's already is now is very obvious, gradually crypto recognition is spreading across the world, many people are warming up to understand blockchain technology and its potential to development,
Now we can see some countries working towards having their own crypto which is an indication of what will come in future.

Money transfers will become easier, faster and more efficient, now many platforms are developing technology from cryptocurrency to developing multiple platforms so that they can become more widely used.

many challenges for crypto today, crypto must be able to convince the public and government assumptions about the use as a currency. maybe it can, but it's still a long time. Today, this year, China will release its blockchain-based digital yuan currency, so what does that mean? the country has taken crypto technology. but do not use existing crypto currencies. maybe what will survive is only bitcoin, and other altcoins will become junk.

I never believe that Bitcoin or crypto is the future currency. You should know that crytocurrencies are tools for blockchain technology to be implemented. So any bank can create its own blockchain technology and make deposits and withdrawals quickly and across countries. It is only because each country has a separate regulation, so it is difficult to link banks together, besides, the bank has enough ability to do this.
One more thing, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile assets so people don't want to use them in payments. So stop dreaming about a great future for crypto, it won't come true.

Cryptocurrency has a chance to be the future currency as the crypto can give a new solution in the financial economy for each people who want to search a source of income. And now, with the increasing of bitcoin and altcoin price, that will be a good sign for every people that soon, the market will have a bullish trend like before. Although bitcoin and altcoin still have volatility, it doesn't mean that if the price is down, it will not have a chance to increase back, and it proves by now. We see that the market has a green candle for the coin, and soon, we will see the bull run will come.

maybe the true tendency is for legal crypto made by the government, not the crypto that we know today, as you wrote, constant volatility will only make cryptocurency only be treated as an asset in the future. Blockchain technology that is legally created has a patent that can be applied together, not all countries can make the same thing if the system already has an authentic patent basis.

In my mind crypto have good progress than other financial instrument, from popularity, benefits and they already have fundamental foundation for next step. I believe crypto will pass commodity or stock, until now crypto still become primary choice for all economy transactions out side currency and oil. Crypto can't beat currency but the technology can replace all system transaction we have today. If regulation release, the bridge to become future currency will bright, just wait that moment.

That is something that will be very useful later where we can make transfers or payments using cryptocurrency from anywhere using the internet network. But, I think it might be difficult for cryptocurrency to be accepted in some countries because the price is fluctuating and can change at any time and also the internet is needed to do it and maybe this will be difficult for remote areas that have not had an internet network there.

This can happen because the development of the cryptocurrency world is increasingly fast so that many people around the world have started to recognize it, if crypto in the currency for the future then this need a very long process for the government to Formalize it, especially today all countries already have their respective currencies so many considerations from the government.
yes, for example the crypto currency will become money in the future indeed it takes time and also requires consideration for other countries because indeed in each country already has their own currency, but with the development of technology that is in this world maybe it could happen, even though it takes a long time to make crypto money as usable as fiat money, even though some countries have been able to use it as a means of payment.

I'm not sure though. Can you elaborate on your statement with solid data? I don't see countries recognizing Bitcoin as their official currency (yet) but it just doesn't make sense to me. Please don't count China "crypto" as cryptocurrency. It's meaningless in my opinion. China planned crypto is just another way for the government to track their citizen financial transaction and that's isn't the spirit of cryptocurrency at all.

if bitcoin and cryptocurrency use less costs because the price is increasing it might be worthy of being a currency, it looks like we need something crypto currency that actually uses even smaller costs, I think bitcoin and other crypto currencies are worth expensive in the future, it's better to be a safe digital asset that is easily stored for resale at any time when the price is expensive

Can't agree no more. If this legalization of cryptocurrency will continue and spread among different countries, the recognition from the public will surely increase and we will be able to achieve mass adoption. Aside from time, we also need more governments to understand and accept crypto. They are a big step for mass adoption. Some governments may disagree with crypto for now, but when technology becomes more advance and innovative, they will end up accepting cryptocurrency. They might also end up creating their own centralized cryptocurrency if they doesn't want decentralized one.

Yes, it would be more appropriate to be like this. Already, it is possible to see places where crypto is accepted and used as a payment today. For now, although these places are few, they will spread wider as time goes by and gain superiority. So, if states do not make unnecessary decisions on this issue, crypto will make its own way without needing their support.

There is a possibility that crypto will be the future of currency unless someone created a better means of recording stuff with the same property as what is crypto blockchain today.  Something that is more economical and does not need billions of dollars to operate and secure the network and something that is hack resistant and at the same time quantum computer resistant.

Cryptocurrencies are great and there's really not much that can compare because not much can be called yours these days. But as if the world still does not need this technology and is still comfortable with fiat, considering also in certain places there is no internet access and there are still many lay people about technology. Blockchain is currently used by many banks to develop Stablecoin or just for security. for mainstream adoption in my opinion is still long.

For sure that we will have innovative currency too and that is cryptocurrencies, for sure it will be the future as most of the transactions in the coming years will be through online, that you don't need much to go in a bank to transact , to deposit or withdraw money. In as much as blockchain technology has impacted many sectors positively, the governments still see crypto as currency for crime, tax evasion, and associate it with many unlawful scenarios. It will be a hard nut to crack for government to accept crypto mainstream because they claim they are protecting their citizens. However, crypto acceptability is slowly creeping in, from merchants accepting crypto for goods and services, to crypto being used to purchase property etc. It's just a matter of time but won't be easy to come true.

Rather than supporting a new and good innovative project, some will chase after a copycat project for money. This has led to a pile of dead projects that only shine for short amount of time before turning to ashes and be forgotten. Hopefully, things can do change and crypto will then be a common idea in the society.

In recent years, many countries have begun to rely on crypto currencies and most of them have adopted BTC as a means of payment. But I don't think that will happen to all countries. The less developed countries do not allow such a risk.

bitcoin may be difficult to accept as an official currency, because the price alone will make people think of using it. but it will be possible for a digital currency to be a centralized crypto that can be used because the level is stable. we can see it from now on, maybe bitcoin will become an investment asset and become a certain transaction only.

Right now we are living one version of that, everyone still uses fiat but there are places that accepts crypto as payments right? That is a thing right now and I think that will just get more and more common, with more and more people adopting bitcoin there will be crypto getting more famous and more used, it is always hard to convince 51st person to accept then make 101st person to accept, so it will get easier and more common. In the dream future, we will continue to have fiat but we will also have crypto option everywhere in the world.

I agree. With the advent of the modern technology in which cryptocurrencies can be accessible by the mankind which can reach every corners of the world, with this, once the whole world have totally adapt on using cryptocurrencies which I think that can be possible to happen in no time, cryptocurrency can literally be the future of currency which we currently have. Cryptocurrency for me can already be considered as the future of currency for it is in lined and being accessible through modernized technology which is being the future and hope of the society we have as of today. As long as the technology is rising, reaching out all parts of the world even those places that have not yet being reached, time will come that the world will have a massive adaptation in which we are all starting to do now. As soon as the world recognizes the importance of cryptocurrencies, time will come that we can maximize its full potential and use making it as the future of currency which can cater all the aspects that we need.

i just have speculation crypto is cant be future currency, i just think centralized digital money will be the future currency, using blockchain technology, even though decentralized coin such as bitcoin still usable, even usefull in the future, but its not will be offical currency.
bitcoin may be difficult to accept as an official currency, because the price alone will make people think of using it. but it will be possible for a digital currency to be a centralized crypto that can be used because the level is stable. we can see it from now on, maybe bitcoin will become an investment asset and become a certain transaction only.
I am not sure about that because crypto still has a lot of disadvantages when we are using it and we all know that cryptocurrency is decentralized having a currency that is decentralized is not a good idea especially if we use it in the future worldwide. And not all the countries are accepting crypto, they are banning it because they are thinking that crypto is a scam which is not. There are scammers out there but crypto itself is not a scam. So in summary, maybe crypto can be possibly used in the future if it is being centralized.

well, we talking about future currency and the reason why BTC and friends is cant be the future is because they cant be controlled , and what i mean about centralized digital money is like a digital money created by goverment it self, and BTC itself has a role as another option.

Of course I am very sure that crypto will become a currency in the future. Because besides crypto is very rapid growth from
year by year, more and more countries are legalizing crypto currency. Even countries as big as China intend to make cryptocurrency
they themselves, another proof is that many big companies like Facebook and Telegram make their own crypto too. This is a sign
that crypto will become a future currency.

I'm prettu sure that many of us think of the possibility of cryptocurrency to replace fiats in the near future, considering the fact that the main functions of fiats could be replaced by the emerging technology of digital currency as of today. But for me, this is hard and might need another decade to break the current system and for us to have a strong and solid reason why we should replace the fiats. In a sense that many businesses relies on banks and financial institution, they will not allow a decentralized system to enter the market that might eventually replace them. For sure, crypto enthusiasts will be happy about this but the people who haven't have a decent job will decline the innovation just because of them havinh low technological literacy among others.

Crypto is not officially announced as a legal one in most of the countries that's the thing which worries more, this digital payment is very unique and legit one in this modern era. The world need to recognize the value of crypto currency and I believe it will happen one day for sure.

Yes, crypto is becoming more popular and it will surely become the currency where we can use them on our daily basis. Cryptocurrency adaptation is kept increasing and this makes many governments are showing a lot of interest towards block chain implementation, if we compare with previous years already the adaptation are kept increasing.

There's always a good future if we're holding the best asset that we had, but for now having patience is the best key to reach our goals. It maybe not as fast as expected, but with dedication and determinations I am confident that we will move along the way. There's no assurance for everything in this world and change has no constant position, because it's not permanent and it's going to varry in many circumstances.

Currently only 1% of the population knows about this market and it is really difficult to become currency in the world because not everyone has time to learn. I think a major change will be needed and all major countries must accept the existence of crypto as this is the only way for everyone to know. Personally, I believe in this market and blockchain technology will certainly be applied in many areas to serve our lives.

Of course, this is just a prediction of the future and we can't be sure what will happen next but I hope one day crypto will be a new trend for everyone.

For me, I am pretty much sure that cryptocurrency is the future of currency for the reason that this type of currency was in lined with the modern technology we do have today. As people are seeing the future world will be filled up with the well improved and highly modernized technology, then, it can also be considered that cryptocurrency is the future of currency. It will be possible enough to make cryptocurrency our future currency if and only if all the people across the globe can be able to adapt on using as well as having access with crypto because supposedly, a currency can be able to be used by any type of people for the means of using it as payment option. Which I was wondering and believing that can possible to happen in the near future once the advent of the modern technology continuously improves and people will be able to adapt on it. As long as people are using technology, they can be able to use crypto as long as they have prior knowledge and understanding about it, cryptocurrency can be the future of currency.

Well I can't say no, but it is possible. Everything takes time and effort in order to be recognized, and I think bitcoin with the altcoins out there are still too far in proving themselves to the world (although I believe that it will happen too, some time). People needs more knowledge in order to accept great things like cryptos most especially the governments of each country for all we know that their acceptance is a must in order for cryptos to be fully used worldwide.

In my opinion, countries of the world would prefer to have their own cryptocurrency which would be a replica of the national currency and give the government a full control of the currency dominance in the country. There's a possibility that each country cryptocurrency could be exchanged with more popular cryptocurrency like bitcoin and ethereum, and possibly other national cryptocurrency.

Crypto will be future currency if it is managed properly like fiat. Because of privacy it will create lot of scams and give birth to crime. It can make world economy unbalanced because whales will move the market as per their choice. Then governments may ban it and never release their protection.
We don't know if crypto will be the future currency in all over the world because at the first place it is very early to judge and predict it especially that cryptocurrency has a lot to develop in order to be stable in many terms and conditions because we all know that many countries and their governments are not in favor on it so it is very hard to say that it will be the future of our currency but we can't deny the fact that cryptocurrency has a lot of possibility to become one of it in which it can really be our future in terms of currency especially in digital which means not in paper money.

Do you think it will be that easy to use? Will governments around the world let this work properly? So, what role will fiat money play in this economy? Remember, the forex market has an estimated market cap of trillions of dollars, and now crypto is just a digital asset with just over $ 200 billion. It has so many differences. Besides, nobody wants to hold an asset that can be easily manipulated like cryptos. You should not fantasize about crypto being a common currency.

if you say as a substitute for a currency that already exists it's still far away. But if it is said to be a digital asset for now and then yes I really agree. Because replacing the real currency with a digital currency such as crypto requires new readiness and order for each country that has organized and organized their economy with existing printed money. Not to mention the global financial exchange, for example, the USD was replaced by BTC, would it not be chaotic in this world

Realistically when we think now it might be a difficult challenge to expect bitcoin to be used in the future, but anything can happen as long as it is still possible. the biggest challenge of using bitcoin on a mass scale is the regulation of government in a country, without regulations the use will not work

More and more people are engaged in cryptocurrency investing and most of us are into this because we saw this potential and we are happy to support it. cryptocurrency can be the currency of the future provided there is special attention from most countries to formalize its use so that it can be used as an alternative transaction tool that can be used for official digital payment alternatives without pros and cons because it must be discussed globally if this technology is feasible to be developed for use as an alternative payment transaction tool without having to completely eliminate the existing fiat functions

Take a look at what banks are doing now - they are creating their own types of digital currencies, essentially their cryptocurrency. Look at what this will lead us to in the near future.

Over time everyone will adapt and be able to learn the functions of smart phones for digital currencies and most importantly they know the benefits and functions of crypto for themselves and are supported by good internet networks, especially in rural areas which in my opinion are very important for them to know and be involved in it because it can help them in their economy and finance and must be applied to those in the interior and limitations.

Most likely, if this ends up being made into a currency, I think that the government will combine crypto and fiat. so they made crypto-based Fiat utilize the speed of the transaction, even they could control it themselves, it was like centralized crypto. however, the government will not recognize a medium of exchange that they cannot control ...

not at all, although crypto has been recognized by many countries but in fact they or lay people will be more familiar with bitcoin so it is still doubtful whether crypto will become a currency in the future, because even some countries only issue regulations about crypto which is only legal as an asset. this proves, legalization that happen in many countries but not all have the same rules about crypto

between crypto and digital currency, who will be the currency of the future seems to be split into two, people want crypto and the government definitely wants digital currency.
Cryptocurrency are already used all over the world but not as payments, only legalized to be traded as assets. no one knows the future, it could be only bitcoin that is recognized but others don't, we just guess a possibility in the future that is not necessarily the case.
So, are you sure crypto is the currency of the future? I can not be sure of that, because not necessarily I can enjoy it in the future. better think of crypto in the present.

I think it will only be accepted as an asset, unless bitcoin has tended to be stable in the future and no longer moves in high speculation. Crypto and digital currencies will be interconnected even though the possibility of legalization is still small. Nobody knows how crypto will work in the future, but with one key key called regulation, everything will be seen more clearly in the current period.

although regulations are important but there are still some countries that have not received payments using bitcoin even in the future technology cannot provide guarantees that using bitcoin, they only use the technology but do not use bitcoin as their payment currency because in my opinion if using bitcoin not possible because of factors that are very limited supply can also provide an important influence.

If you referring to digital currency, I will say there is a high propability that Cryptocurrency will be the first thing that the investors and consumers will consider. But if you are referring to the main and international currency of every country, then I think there is a possibility but not quite sure since we are still working for the acceptance and approval of every country. It is good to be optimistic but we should try our best in helping and showing to the world that Cryptocurrency deserves a try. That there is a good side that they should look at.

I believe crypto is the future curency. because the majority of developing countries and developed countries have all used digital money and only a few use cash payments. someday there will definitely be altcoin which will become a priority to be used as a means of payment in the future. we just need time to wait for that.

actually crypto might just be a digital-based concept, but for later implementation I think cash will still play a role but has changed and is in digital form.
I do not deny that crypto will not be used.
but from all types of crpyo, only a few are worthy of being used as a means of payment.

Decentralized finance project is the future, in short defi. Bitcoin promised same thing but bitcoin only was decentralized in case of issuing money and storage. We traded in centralized exchanges and ultimately crypto turned into centralized in some extent. But open source defi serves better now. Many financial tools csn be added, modified to solve new problems in it. And since open source, developers are working efficiently and solving new problems all together

Malekbaba many people don't know about DeFi and about what decentralization means. Many people still need to learn a lot about
all this and maybe that we will see some big changes, and that time is coming, just nobody can say when exactly!
Crypto-currencies are the future, not all of them, but some are. Smart contracts, cheap and fast transactions, it's what we want
and with crypto-currencies we can have many new things.

So far, nothing has been created that would fully correspond to decentralized finances that are not subject to administration.
Today, the main product capable of changing the entire financial system is Ethereum when truly decentralized financial systems are created on its basis that can solve many global issues that are not subject to the existing monetary policy.

Yeah, it's so true! The cryptocurrency is expected to be a future currency when it first appeared. However, as you said, it will take a lot of time for the world to fully use cryptocurrencies as a payment method. Despite the advantages of the cryptocurrency are over fiat currencies, many nations seem to be not interested in developing them. I think the reason is that they want to keep their fiat money superior, it's their tool to control the national economy and part of global economy!

So it will come in the future but it is not so near to now. we need to wait for some years.
quite difficult to get the legality of digital currencies worldwide, unless there is a ruling country that can affect global currencies that can announce that crypto can be used as a legal payment instrument in every country and guarantee that crypto will not affect the major currencies owned by every country, of course such things can be said if crypto will be centered on one ruling country, everyone certainly will not be comfortable if that happens in the future

I feel cryptocurrency will be more engaged in the near future but I think some of the top coin will still stay on asset class while the stable coin might be pushed to daily use currency. I also think countries and their central banks will introduce currency with own country name that they can control the size. The problem those currency could have is the non volatility and laundering but the daily volume use will be high with time.

every country will surely develop its own digital currency after getting a picture from crypto about payments using digital.
and sure enough in my country fiat money that is commonly used has several digital uses.
I mean on average when people want to shop online they make payments digitally.

Definitely it’ll be the currency of the future. It’s just that it takes a long time to make it happen. When transitioning from barter to gold and other precious metals, I’m pretty sure that it also took them a long while to adopt it. Same thing when transitioning from gold and precious metals to paper bills and physical coins.

The evolution of money takes decades or centuries to transition. As for cryptocurrencies, I would see it much faster than the previous transitions. Analysts would say that it would replace fiat money within this decade or in the next one. It’s going to be unpredictable, but who knows, it can happen real soon. We will never know, but at least I definitely know that cryptocurrencies are the future currencies.

There are a lot of huge companies, which have already a partnership with cryptocurrency. That makes people to rely on this world, and we can learn from them to follow new technology. People prefer making transactions with cryptocurrency, that is why it is more useful than with a bank. No doubt cryptocurrency is the future currency.

Cryptocurrency can be used for utilities, investment securities, payment method, substitute of fiat value, and many more. With ever development of cryptocurrency in improving our lives, if we think it only as to substitute fiat value; then perhaps it is the most simple form of explaination I could ever agree of. If you may think it deeply, cryptocurrency could be, "not a", but THE Financial Revolution.

As you can see, we need not simply the money or cash with huge financial value. Everyone has its right to vote for financial fraud and financial control made not only by our government but by wealthy private sectors. Inflation as most common problem, which happened to some countries like Venezuela and Zimbabwe. The gap of wealth between average citizens to crazy rich individuals. Unncessary competition among countries and many more. Cryprocurrency is hub for people with same reason about it.

Yes agree but in my opinion, crypto must the too broad classification and all cryptocurrencies cannot be the future but bitcoin must be the definite one among them. In the near future itself, bitcoin is going to be the mainstream of payment processor as all the service providers and vendors are going to accept bitcoin as one of their payment option. Lightning network will help them to eliminate the problem of waiting for confirmations.

When more people are preferring to have a problem free payment system then I believe all the vendors will get enforced to adopt that payment system. This is what exactly going to happen for bitcoin payment system in near future. How many people are adopting bitcoin in between time and how many people are demanding payment option for bitcoin are the key deciding factors here to push the bitcoin as universal payment method.

True it is just a matter of time but yet more advancement or improvements is still needed, and most importantly lesser or no scam projects, because this issue of scam projects tends to drag the crypto space behind. However, when studying the crypto space it is clear that Crypto will have a say in the future because it tends to offer more better alternative to fiat in certain cases. Lastly, not all crypto will make it to the future, in fact only few will be able to pitch their tents hence whatever anyone is doing or investing in any crypto for long term, let due diligence be done first.

For now cryptocurrency like btc, eth and usdt is more favored because of its blockchain technology that offers transparency and data security. The answer of that question, for me is, maybe yes. But not in our lifetime. It may take many decades before all of the countries of the world by then and also the financial powerhouses in banking and economics will accept cryptocurrencies as the future of currency. Right now there are many obstacles in getting that acceptance as cryptocurrencies are also being used in illegal activities that is why there is a resistance from the financial community in adopting cryptocurrencies and sometimes there are attempts to ban it from being used in some countries. It will take a long time before they will trust the technology and use it as a common currency.

As you above said this world is growing day by day and l think cryptocurrency will not be leading in currencies. Because it already has been leading in currencies, a lot of people use cryptocurrency for their transactions cause of few fees. No doubt there will not any person, who has no experience with BTC.

There are so many people these days, that want to know about cryptocurrency, most especially Bitcoin. As the drive continues to increase all over the world, a time would come that governments will be left with no choice than to integrate it into their systems. What we need right now is just for those countries with big economy to sparehead it, then others will follow. However, the journey to that level has already begun.

For now there are alot of people who do not have any knowledge about cryptocurrencies both the educated and uneducated people , so we still have alot of time to get a higher percentage of adoption. until that happens we cant really say crypto will be the future currency .

On the other hand , it would be a good thing of joy  if Crypto is adopted as the major means of financial transactions globally there are  a lot of advantages of this over the traditional banking system .  But like i said we still have a lot of work to do in getting more people into the blockchain.

In fact, we will only see it in time, but we will not have to wait too long. Because the acceptance of cryptocurrency is increasing exponentially day by day so this is a big aspect in this crypto market.
Investors are being considered as an asset in particular but it does not end here because in many countries it is now being used as a real resource.
although the cryptocurrency is now always an alternative to transactions, I don't think crypto will be used as a currency in the future. however, the government will not agree with this, except for those who conduct crypto management, but that is very difficult given that there are so many pros and cons regarding cryptocurrency. however, at the moment I can only think that crypto can only be used as an alternative payment

I am not sure if fiat money is the future, look at how governments and central banks would like to solve the upcoming crisis. More printed money, negative interest, and helicopter money. Do you think that we can still make money from the air?  ;)

Fiat is the traditional money and been existing for many years. Do you still have doubt that it cant be the future currency? Crypto on the other side can exist together with fiat, its convenient for us who already use it and aware of the blockchain technology. Though it takes time before we can see each country to recognize it specially that some people prefer fiat as their currency for spending.

while there is a lot of resistance to crypto, we can say that so far so good. people are getting used to the fact that crypto is here to stay and there is probably nothing much that can be done about it. The security it guarantees is one unbeatable advantage it has over any other mode of transaction, and the fact that its tranfer is real time makes it an amazing medium of exachange. it might not happen today or tommorrow, but in the long run, crypto will take over

I think so, digital currency is a modernize currency of the future. And i think thqt in the next generation, people would use digital currency instead of fiat since the next generation is soon enough to be a digitalize world. So i agree that cryptocurrency is one of the use currency around the world in the future.

When you compare it with FIAT, then it is better in every feature! Crypto is digital, you can send it overseas in few seconds, the transaction is not reversible, so it makes it trustworthy. No one is able to cheat in the system and creating free money. It is decentralized and transparent, this would help it to expand globally. Plus the limited supply makes it rare and valuable :)

You made some valid points but I won't entirely agree with you on "crypto is bettter than FIAT in every feature". Crypto still lags in some areas, sometimes network clog cause delay in transactions for BTC and also high fees like what we experience recently with ETH transactions. In future, FIAT will still be used, no two ways about it but we hope crypto mainstream adoption comes. Both FIAT and crypto have their pros and cons.

Who knows in the future we will use cryptocurrencies but I still doubt if people agree to use crypto because cryptocurrency is very volatile. I guess some people will prefer to use crypto and some prefer digital money like USD, JPY just like that.
there will solution to overcome this problem. many developers team building a system so cryptocurrency could adopted in real life with its volatility. if all rate count based on recent price, i think there is no more problem. some project already success make collaboration with online store to accept their token and even give cashback when used it.

How it will happen if other country banning cryptocurrency? Also not all people knows how to use bitcoin and they don't have access to the internet or either they don't have gadgets to use for online transactions like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Still need more time before it will use as a currency like our fiat.

If you say the future? it looks like fifty-fifty, in terms of the concepts that exist in cryptocurrency is a concept that is needed in the future, where transactions are easy to use. Can make transactions anywhere and outside the country easily, digital concepts are also things that are needed in the future. Moreover, cryptocurrency has technology that promotes data transparency and data security.

Why do I say fifty-fifty because cryptocurrency still has weaknesses. Examples of bitcoin and some other coins that have high prices will find it difficult to make small transactions. Whereas the stablecoin that is said to be suitable for a transaction does not yet have a way to make a purchase transaction directly.

With the technological advancement we have where the usage of cryptocurrency lies, we can say that cryptocurrency is the future of currency. But as of the moment, it is still not widely accepted and we all know that there are still countries and governments that are opposing or against the usage of cryptocurrencies. Not just that, the adaptation which is needed for it to be widely acceptable is not yet achieved. It would still take time for that thing to happen because there are still lots of things that are needed to be fixed and to be considered for it to be acceptable most specially by normal or ordinary people who are claiming that they cannot still afford to adapt on using cryptocurrencies due to technicalities involved. Learning and understanding must be the first thing that is needed to be done so that people can truly know the essence and importance of cryptocurrencies for them to be able to accept it and that is when wide and massive adaptation would happen and that would be the greatest turn over for cryptocurrencies to be claimed as the future of currency.

I am not sure but it has huge chance to be the future currency of the world. Day by day, Crypto is becoming popular in every corner of the world. To be the future money, most country need to legalize crypto but will it possible? Because, crypto is decentralized where no government has control over it. If Govt has no control, how they legalize it and how it will fully become future currency? This is the main question about the future of crypto.

Recently, Binance has taken a huge step towards popularizing the crypt around the world by announcing the release of its crypto card. You can use it to pay as easily as using a debit/credit card. A recalculation from crypto to Fiat occurs at the time of payment.
As far as I know, this is just their idea, it will take time for them to implement this project. And I believe it will not be easy, they need to do a lot of things to make their payment card acceptable in Europe.

Slowly they are spreading the cryptocurrencies around the world and it will take time to get awareness about the cryptocurrency, Binance is becoming a global cryptocurrency exchange and it will help them to implement all sorts of customers needs in the coming days.

Crypto by nature is volatile and unpredictable, therefore with that nature, I don't think anyone can be sure about it's future.
The main reason why we are investing here is because we believe on its future, but we are not sure with the future as we are considering the risk on investing.

Even bitcoin which is currently the most dominant coin and the most popular, I still can't be sure that it will continue to rise or will survive in the long run, but for me, I believe that Bitcoin brings decentralization to the world which is a game changer.

in order for the cryptocurrency to be used around the world, we will need a lot of time. Now we are not technically prepared for mass use. for the ordinary people to use the cryptocurrency, it must become convenient and quick to use, but now only some coins that are centralized have it, and governments and many other people do not want to trust their money to some unknown people who can manage the future of their project
Crypto world is still at the initial stage of mass adoption. There are many technicalities and procedures that must be met before the assets are introduced to the whole world. A decentralized crypto can never be the official currency of any country. If one day the government decides to go all digital, they would create their own digital currency with a centralized system. This will only eliminate the traditional payment way (cash) and digitalize all transactions.Everything else will remain the same.

Do you really want someone to control your personal finances so that they can be seized or seized by the state? Or as Satoshi Nakamoto wrote in his white paper. He wanted to give each person their own bank in hand. He wanted to save people from the problems of trusting third parties. And most certainly, he did not want your assets to be seized by the decision of the state authorities or so that you have tax liabilities in the event that the price of the asset increases. The assets were seized by the decision of the government authorities or that you have tax liabilities in the event that, if the asset price increases.

Definitely, a lot of us and the financial institutions knew this was going to happen and that it was just a matter of time for its actualization. The banks and all anti-crypto fanatics erroneously think the crypto industry was coming to impoverish them by taking away food from them by eliminating everything middlemen and the endless bank charges. Thus, the so much belligerence towards cryptocurrency. But what they haven't realized yet is that the only constant thing in life is change. Cryptocurrency makes it a lot easier to do transactions. My skepticism in all of this, however, is how regions/countries without electricity and the internet are going to cope with this phenomenon.

Cryptocurrency is the future of digital economy but I don't see governments ceding their power to the masses or some fintech projects. They'd rather migrate fiat to blockchain too and create national digital cash. Even now, we have thousands of cryptocurrencies, most if which are iterations/copies of existing products. I think we need DeFi tools that make it easy to access opportunities loaded in this future.

You mean 80% of countries will legalize/regulate the use of crypto or just using it, because most if not all have people who use crypto. Even if a country places ban on crypto, some people must surely still use it. Talking about crypto been used openly for transactions in future, it will require a lot of regulations since governments will want to protect their citizens due to risk and increased cyber crime rate attached with the use of crypto. Personally, I see that cryptocurrencies in the future may well become a replacement for money and become a future currency. However, you need to understand that for this, the technology itself must be adopted on which cryptocurrencies work. It is also worth understanding that even if cryptocurrencies become new money, then each country will have its own official cryptocurrency. Those cryptocurrencies that we now know are more like a trial version of launching both technology and cryptocurrencies as money. In any case, we need to hope for the best and follow the world news related to finance and cryptocurrencies.

since the beginning of crypto has a price, most of the crypto functions are used as a transaction tool. it's just contrary to fiat, and many countries forbid using crypto as a transaction tool. so far, I have not heard information that the government supports crypto as a transaction tool because it might be detrimental to the government. I believe that crypto will be the world's currency. However i think stable coins are more suitable. There are many things to do with the security to make sure that the world's economic can be relayed on it.

The world’s economic will began to crumple if something as volatile as cryptos take over the official system and currency. Stable coins like USDT might be a wise choice but would still have to be highly centralized. Government would never risk placing all control in the hands of the people as this will result in frauds in tax payment and give rise to other illegal activities. So, decentralized crypto as a currency is basically out of the sight.

Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.

I would rather call them as crypto assets than crypto currencies. Cryptos can never replace the fiat currencies but might coexist with it as an asset similar to shares and gold. They will be legalised and regulated, but no government will allow cryptos to replace fiat and be the official currency of the country. Economy of the whole country can never rely on something so volatile.

Venezuela already launched their official crypto currency named Petro back in February 2018 which is being backed up by the country’s oil and mineral reserves. It is claimed that the crypto currency is backed by a centralized debt-crippled entity, so it didn’t get so popular back then. But, we might see it popping up ones again in the market. Basically, no country will allow a decentralized crypto asset to become the official currency unless its centralized and all transactions are kept transparent and traceable.

blockchain is already a key technology and many governments understand this. they see how much this technology can change the world and also they see it as a danger for themselves

we need to see its development in the future. we know that nowadays people who use cryptocurrency are always increasing, and this can make wider developments regarding cryptocurrency. although there is enough opposition to become a currency, but the development of crypto continues. although there is potential, but it looks like it takes a very long time.

Just because our future will involve a lot more crypto doesn't mean that crypto is the future. I am sick and tired of people who think that crypto will be the only currency one day when we reach the mass adoption, it can never be like that, it can't scale to that level and its a failed project from the start.

This is why crypto will be a good part of our life and we will be using it in a lot more places and it will be adopted more so in theory yes crypto will be bigger and important in the future, but that doesn't mean that bitcoin will be the only thing, it doesn't mean that crypto is the only way, there are a lot more options which will continue for a long time as well. That is at least what I believe and hopefully that would be for a long period of time as well.

I'm actually seeing crypto to be the future coin because of its adoption and it has given government concern which shows it's going places. Some government have adopted and accepted the currency while some are yet to legalise it and with the world's current issue, I am seeing crypto to solve world's problems and be adopted as digital currency.

Blokchain technology is an innovation for the future era, especially about Bitcoin which is a big coin in the cryptoqurrency industry space. although now many countries have legalized crypto or adopted blockchain technology but I don't think crypto can be used for transaction tools like paper currencies.

Cryptocurrency is getting more popular day by day and in my mind it will be accepted the whole world in the future. But no doubt it will take a bit long time, as you above mentioned cryptocurrencies are legit in some countries, on the other hand it is not accepted in other countries. l think this event will change, and we will see that these currencies will be used by people all over world and as you said everywhere accepted.

I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.

indeed, this is just the matter of time
because in my opinion the decentralized system on cryptocurrency is more fair than centralized currency

You know fiat and cryptocurrency is an asset they have both advantages and disadvantages so they should co-exist no one will replace another. Yes, cryptocurrency has more potential and better than fiat but I am seeing in the distant future fiat will still exist and it is pretty needed in our daily lives. If no fiat there will be no stablecoins that are backed with dollars.
they will not completely replace each other, but I think that in the future, cryptocurrency will be a more popular tool to use than fiat money. obviously it is more convenient
There was only a free cryptos that can be used as universal money while so many cryptos can be categorized as security which means you can't use such security coin as a payment system. It's not all of cryptos have been filling all of the requirements to be used as a universal currency or a payment system.

Cryptocurrency is not yet ready to be used as a legal tender in most countries. In fact, I won't personally advise that cryptocurrency should become a legal tender in any country. This is because of the issue of volatility. It would be unwise to legalize cryptocurrencies in countries especially the third world countries where basic amenities are lacking and there's high level of illiteracy.

I don't think almost every country accepts cryptocurrency. Binance has already added more fiat currencies even though the total number is much lower than all countries. If all countries accept cryptocurrency, the whole crypto world should be changed more than we imagine. Cryptocurrency is already used as a payment in several countries but by the time change more TPS we will need.

In my opinion Digital Coin is good to be used as a fiat currency, because with cryptocurrency I think the circulation can be controlled with smartcontract, only the hardest thing is how to teach people to want to use Digital Coin, in China there is e-RMB only I doubt if many of their residents want to use this digital money.

But if this all happen then it will be more easier for us to do something beyond the limit.

There is a possibility that those countries whose banned or restrict cryptocurrencies would change their mind and start to using cryptocurrencies on different stuff like what China actually does. Otherwise, it's really difficult to actually implement the cryptocurrencies for the future currency especially for global. I'm pretty sure, it's okay to actually not adopt it on all countries. As long as the majority of countries are okay with cryptos, it wouldn't be so much hassle to actually become the currency.

Crypto currencies are the future there is no way around it, even if some governments ban a particular crypto currency, there will be others taking it's place. A currency is based on trus, which in the past came from the governments guaranteeing it. This trust will be challenged in the future. As in almost all countries the debt levels are rising we will see people switching more and more into cryptos. The world is evolving and becoming more connected thanks to the internet. Personally  I view cryptos as the currency of the internet. Eventually everyone will have access to the internet and then we will see everyone accepting crypto currencies.

It may be called something else and it might be something that don't still exist but the future is certainly of blockchain based currency. Not only are they trustable, they are more transparent and efficient to circulate and maintain. Many nations have already jumped into blockchain based currency for both digitization of fiat and introduction of entirely new finance system.

With number of people loosing their jobs due to  Covid, the countries should consider making cryptocurrencies legal in their countries as this will promote the entrepreneurs to start more companies and thus creating more jobs for the people of the country and then the economy can start to rise again. But the governments are trying to put this problem on others especially China for Covid situation which it actually is. If the countries start making cryptocurrencies legal then yes they have a huge potential to become the future of money and can also evolve the payment systems as we know.

Seeing a pandemic strike and an economic slowdown in Venezuela I can trust cryptocurrencies to be the currency of the future. Because of the decentralization and exchange value in any country, the cryptocurrency is doing its job well. Governments will have to issue their cryptocurrency in the future, but it will no longer be as transparent and decentralized as it is today. It will be blockchain technology but a centralized chain because the government doesn't want people to know how much money the country has printed in and they will control the users. Although the chain of concentration is limited, it will reduce the burden on the bank and effectively combat fraud.

Yes, I am sure it is inevitable whether you want to or not, the movement in this direction can no longer be stopped. Gradually, on a par with national currencies, all powers will adopt a decentralized one, into which national currencies will gradually be poured as into US securities.

More reasons why many investor should always ensure he or she verify a cryptocurrency project before making an investment, things can be seen good when looking at the wrong side of a project but looking generally can be a safe zones. There are coins without case use and those types might not be future coins because they lack case use merit. There are also tons of projects that are copy cats which can't amount to future coins IMO.

It might take some time, cryptocurrency has a huge potential to be an alternative medium of exchange since some cryptocurrency is now being used to pay online services, maybe not as much as we want it to be, but we are still on the early phase of adaptation. Mass awareness and government acceptance should take place first and from there cryptocurrency can be considered the same as debit/credit card or fiat which we can use on a daily basis.

1.crypto currency has a huge usage in mixing money and money laundering, as you see many signature bounties here are about that .

2.it has a huge usage on gambling websites

3.usage in porn website for being untracked

4.usage in the Dark web for nasty things

5.usage for buying drugs

but still the most usage is in mixing and to remove te foot steps , that is why i think it can never be a replacement .

In this report the bank says that cryptocurrencies are currently just additions to the current money payment system.Cryptocurrency  is better than currency… For large transactions, Bitcoin could be easily used
at anywhere without any problems..
So I am sure Crypto is the future currency.

not too sure because now digital currencies such as paypal, alipay and others have a lot of user bases and it seems like cryptocurrency doesn't have a user base like them, but if there are businesses from all cryptocurrency activist countries and there are rules about enforcement around the world I think cryptocurrency can beat them.

Yes, because this is the technology of the future and surpasses fiat money in everything!

If the technology is the future, dont you think that during cryptocurrency development and acceptance period, technology will come up with something new ? By the time cryptocurrency be adopted everywhere, some new way of payment will appear? Like "time" from the movie "In time". Your life is limited by time, and you can buy/sell/exchange your lifetime in for something :)

How long it took for fiat money to appear? How long it took people to switch from using see shell, beads, animal teeth, metal to fiat money?
By looking how technology develop right now, there is a possibility that we will step over crypto and use something else.

Yes what you have said is possible but not in this century, the world is not that advanced to switch our money to something different and about the question if crypto is our future, i think crypto will still be 2nd to fiat for people are very used to it and if we will switch or adapt to crypto without thinking about the other people who have not encountered crypto yet it will be a unorganized process, instead in my opinion digital fiat will more likely to be adapted by lots of people and now that we are quarantined digital fiat payments are used often.

But aren't you selling your lifetime right now while you are getting payed to work your 8-hour job? You could say that you are getting payed for the work you are doing but you can also look at it like you are selling your lifetime (1/3 of every working day) to your employer.

Maybe what is meant is crypto that has a stable value such as USDT or Ripple which is supported by the government. Crypto that has high volatility will likely only be digital assets that are traded for profit.

If we theoretically assume that Bitcoin in a certain future will reach its next historical maximum and stabilize, then it is quite possible that Bitcoin will be able to replace conventional fiat currencies. Of course, I am sure that the government will resist this trend, But people will be interested in keeping their savings in bitcoin, so as not to lose the value of their money due to the depreciation of national currencies.

do you hope bitcoin can be stable? is that possible? After all this time you have seen bitcoin survive in the crypto market and become very popular with its appeal I don't think there is any hope of becoming a stable asset to replace conventional money.
another better alternative is the existence of crypto which is agreed to have a stable value for the transaction tool. I thought it would be wise.

More countries are beginning to understand the benefits of cryptocurrency and several have keyed into it. The level of awareness is much more and in no distant time some countries may decide to include a cryptocurrency as legal tender. I know several individuals and businesses are already accepting cryptocurrency as a means of payment.

What I think is that it would still be a long time before cryptocurrency would be implemented as a form of main currency of the future. Cryptocurrency currently has so many big obstacles like the central banks, the whole financial system of the world. I would say this would take many many years and also a paradigm shift that will happen before all of cryptocurrency will be accepted. I am afraid that we might not be able to see the light of day for crypto being the main currency of the world.

As before explained, crypto has a great future, as real evidence, most countries have started to legalize crypto, although fiat currency is still an official transaction instrument recognized by the state, but cryptocurrency already dominates in several countries. If cryptocurrency is adopted en mass, It is very likely that in the future cryptocurrencies will be parallel to fiat currencies.

Definitely a cryptocurrency, it is the currency of the future, as it has numerous advantages over the fiat money system. Some countries are already making attempts to introduce their own cryptocurrency within their state. It's difficult to say how soon the full transition from fiat to cryptocurrencies will happen, but the fact that they will exist in parallel for a long time is a fact.

I see that now cryptocurrency is more advanced, many large companies have collaborations with crypto projects or adopt blockchain technology, and this makes crypto more known to many people and there are even services that accept payments using crypto.
Indeed. More companies are involved in crypto and even some of them begin to utilize crypto as the payment tool. This is a good sign that crypto probably to use as a global currency in the future. If day after day more countries allow their society to use crypto as payment tools, then gradually it can spread widely around the world. In addition, now many Defi projects support crypto adoption, let's see it can boost the use of crypto.

I see many posts with almost similar questions popping up often. I think this forum is all about bitcoin and other crypto support and discusdions so obviously everyone here wants to see prices rising and crypto succeeding in all the aspects. Crypto is also being accepted at many stores and with adoption it will become a truly dominate global currency without carrying paper currebcy you will be able to spend through your phone.

I have only one question, namely - what kind of cryptocurrency will it be? You don't think that some Mr. trump will decide to burn all the dollars and use eth instead, do you?
First of all, none of the major countries (read first world countries) will use the cryptocurrency of someone else's (independent) production as the main currency.
Secondly, how do you imagine the availability of reserves in cryptocurrency? Either a return to the hard gold standard or something else - but the reserve will still not be in the cryptocurrency because it is impossible to use as a reserve something that "does not exist".
And third , what is the global benefit of this? To be honest, I have been living for a long time, but I still do not understand this desire to use cryptocurrency as the main means of calculations. If you wanted to, you would use it and do everything possible to do it. But what do I see? People just want more dollars and no more. And no one is really interested in what you write about.

Indeed. Many people have find online transaction way more convenient and fast at the same time that you don't need to fall or wait in long lines, so you could just pay your monthly bills and buy goods. Using physical money became less because using virtual money is the safest way to avoid getting physical contact in the middle of the pandemic. So cryptocurrency has a chance to be used in the future, the only problem with using cryptocurrency today as a transaction is the high fees and not everybody can afford buying their own crypto.

Alternative as it is, if more government will allow this crypto to coexist with regular fiat then it will be great for the entire ecosystem.

The usages and the engagements coming from more end users will be the key to make things more better for the future of this industries.

Supporting the entire concepts and allow future to bring huge benefits

Cryptocurrencies getting used as currency isn't gonna happen soon. Even now more businesses have begun to accept cryptocurrencies, but that hasn't made it to be a currency.

Most of the cryptocurrency users prefer it to be a investment/alternate to the stock marketing. Each and everything is getting integrated with technology, as a part we've got digital payment access. Maybe the next generation will use cryptocurrency as the regular currency same as that we use traditional fiat at present.

Like
1. Crypto is limitless
2. Crypto is very fast
3. It is durable
4. Crypto is portable

At the same time, if we consider the present situation we can see that cryptocurrrecncies won't be the future currency only but can be an alternative means of payment because
1. No country has fully adopt cryptocurrecnies has their means of payment
2. More people still don't trust and they don't understand crypto world.

If moving banknotes to banks improved the financial world so much, how could crypto can't? Obviously it will make a lot of wealthy people angry that people stopped using the money they are rich in and started using a currency they don't have much so they will try to stop it, but we really do not need to listen to them at all. There will be a point when everyone will be against it, all the mainstream media will talk about it, but eventually we will prevail.

And this can be done with digital currency transactions, but what is currently an obstacle is official regulations from the government, so that it slightly hinders the use of crypto currency in everyday life, if there was official regulation from the government of a country, of course we wouldn't have to wait a long time to see crypto as one of the currencies used in that country.

I am totally agree with you mate, i am working in this field from last 3 years where i seen the several pumping and dumping of market and alt coins movements, scam of ICO's, new IEO projects bounty projects. Those all things making this crypto market more stronger and bigger making it stabilization. Not really because crypto currencty will be a sort of like a investment or a digital currency with volatile value and thia should only be used in this purpose or it could be a means for payment.

People can adapt cryptocurrency but the fiat currency still works best and never I think it could be change. We ca  do online transaction but I think never it will happen that digital currency like cryptocurrency will be the future currency.

Probably most online transaction or money if involved will definitely back up by the fiat currency and that is I am certain of course.

I guess it is going to be the future where cash will be ditched for the digital currencies but the world adapting cryptocurrencies in the mainstream isn't gonna happen for sure, the digital payments will be more like centralized payments where banks would rule as to how much money will be printed.

I think crypto will be one of the existing currency of the future. But I don't think it will be able to totally replace fiat money. Not yet in the near future maybe. Crypto must still show its potential to many and have mainstream adoption before it will be considered the currency of the future. With the development of crypto it is going there.

I am not convinced if crypto will become a future currency but i am praying and hoping that crypto become an existing currency that we can use legally on our digital transactions. If it may happen this may become a great opportunity for each token developer to uplift the value of the token and also it was an opportunities for us as a traders and campaigners because this is what we are looking for, for a crypto to become legally adopted in our economy and in our day to day basis.

I don't think that it will be the one future currency but definitely one of the many options of many, and I think that adoption will only keep increasing.

I'm already seeing that I could reach a point where I wouldn't have to use USD much to obtain services. With services like this, I could buy almost everything with BTC or BCH:

I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.

I believe that in the form as we now see and know cryptocurrencies, they cannot be accepted around the world. If cryptocurrencies are destined to be accepted, then most likely each country will have its own initial cryptocurrency. This is the more likely scenario for me. Well, the rest of the cryptocurrencies will most likely be used as they are now. For example, it is not profitable for countries to have a decentralized anonymous system, and I believe that over time, cryptocurrencies will be as centralized as possible and KYC will be needed for their use and trade. But as it actually will be, we will see for ourselves.

No one actually believed the internet will get to this stage. In fact many technological innovations today, many people doubted it while seeing it as a waste of time, but those who believed in it, still made sure it gets the required attention. What I am saying is, good technologies takes time to grow, and during its growth challenges and roadblocks will spring up, but slow and steadily, it wins.
If you take a look at the cryptocurrency space today and compare it to what was obtainable years ago, you will see the signs of progress amidst all the scams, hacks and so on. On the other hand, I do not think crypto can be recognised as an official currency of a country because it will likely challenge the powers of the government, and no government wants that. But in my own opinion, I believe crypto has come to stay and gradually it will continue to be used as a payment method in many platforms.
Nowadays the competition is rising, many people are seeing the need to use it because of the absence of a third-party; isn't that a great idea? Yes, crypto will serve a great purpose in the future but might it hard beating fiat.

Here you can get the legal status of cryptos around the world : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

But none of the government recognized bitcoin as legal curreny, they just allow cryptos in their country but as form of asset so there will be taxes also imposed based on the asset base.

This kind of subject matter fives us a broad discussion and study to implement. They have a positive and negative side. But iif this case approve by our society and the government itself, or they have some basics rules or guidelines to follow.  We still hoping  and wait for the possible actions.

the possibility of cryptocurrency becoming a currency in the future could happen, but if that happens then only a few cryptocurrency will definitely be recognized (one of which is BTC), because in my opinion if all cryptocurrency are recognized then too many currencies will be used, therefore in my opinion only a few cryptocurrency are legitimate as currencies in the future if cryptocurrency has been legalized.

Some country they use crypto as alternative currency. May this subject can cause positive way interns of process. We have to understand that their was negative feedback in using this type of currency.
Well some countries already adopted the use of cryptocuurency. They are open for this new technology as an alternative to fiat.

But to think its the future I guess it will take a long period. What im certain is crypto will co exist together with fiat. It works this way hence there's no need to push that it can replace the traditional money because its going to be hard.

Crytocurrency can be the future but it is going to take time even though many people are now into cryto unlike before and many more countries are adopting the use of it.The problem of cryto mostly is the issue of scam projects which are many nowadays and has to be taken care of so that much more countries will use it and people will have more trust in it.

That's time will be easier to buy cryptocurrency than now. We have so many problems with hardware money. Centralized money will lead the digital world but for decentralization some people will support cryptocurrency. By maintaining several rules if the government can print money, why cryptocurrency doesn't follow the rules to protect the price drop.

I can say that their is a huge possibility that cryptocurrencies will be the future currency most importantly once that all the countries in the globe acknowledge it and if those countries can really see the benefits of it, no doubt it will really going to happen that one day we are using cryptos as a mode of transaction and payment.

Covid-19 crisis is an  eye opener to goverments that cash can spread the virus. It was widely reported that the virus could be transmitted through handling them. So have a high possibility that they will change the fiat money system into cashless payment system. Yes i believe cryptocurrency is the future currency of the world and we are already seeing it now.

The Pandemic is an eye-opener to the government that they need to set up a cashless payment processor to avoid transmission we never how long will this pandemic exist or there will be another one, but it's very important that a cashless transaction should be made even if there is no pandemic, the government should take heed the call of cashless transaction.

Yes, and that is something that we cannot deny, because considering the development of all cryptocurrencies that take place differently at different times, so that people in the public domain only accept two cryptocurrencies that are definitely good and good in all aspects, namely Bitcoin and Ethereum.

There is a whole process to change, and the same goes for cryptocurrencies. Despite the exciting tech and real possibility of it becoming the future currency, its volatility, nascent comprehension, dilemma of governing authorities, mistrust of masses outside cryptoworld, are all deterrents to any such possibility in the near future.

Numerous individuals and each and every individual who are being in this sonnet for not yours will see a similar this bitcoin and the different digital forms of money are the future and the world will be receive digital forms of money as the monetary medium.

Anyway I think stable coins are more reasonable. There are numerous activities with the security to ensure that the world's monetary can be transferred on it. The greatest nations on the planet are against crypto now or they would prefer not to speak unmistakably about crypto. I think consistently have minimal possibility for bitcoin and altcoin become nothing with lower cost at the future, perhaps when have and improved with put resources into your genuine venture like make your store or get some land speculation.

It is indeed to be the thing. Since we are phasing from the traditional way going to digital which is much more influenced or put into hyped because of the pandemic that we currently have that people are making digital transactions to avoid direct physical contact to prevent the spread of virus or the threat of getting infected. I think it would be reasonable that cryptocurrecies do can stand a high probability of becoming the future currency because of the current situation that people are being reliant of digitalization of almost doing anything and being digital is where cryptocurrency lies. We might see that it could really be the currency of the future but this can barely be just a perception for there could still lots of happening that might affect the outcome. Let us just all see what could be possible to happen and see if crypto can make it to be claimed as the future currency.

I also guess that COVID-19 isolation (the new wave is coming again) will let more people think about using cryptocurrency. With time cash will be not needed as great as now, and virtual currency will become the new leader. A large part of people understands it, and invest in altcoins and BTC.
