Is there any altcoin that has so much potential as use case in our lives?

It seems that even major altcoin like Ethereum still struggles with securing stores to be used...

Adoption I think will build the use case of the altcoin. Right now it may nit have a usecase for you but when its accepted by casinos which it will have demands for its price to go up.  Or it could also die if there are no casinos adopting it.

Eth is already too big to fail. Its usecase is obvious. its struggling but I think the manipulation keep its price low.

Short answer is No.
Bitcoin is the only coin that you need to keep store of. With more merchants coming up with a pro-crypto attitude and more lenience from authorities to use crypto, being optimistic, they would without any doubt use bitcoin as the first option for taking payments. Now altcoins can be there but bitcoin will always be there.

Hence altcoins can be a life saver when bitcoin network becomes congested but dont get me wrong here. Alts dont have anything worth investing in them. So use them with caution. If you local grocery store accepts bitcoin, use bitcoin. You will be much better off having to juggle a hundred alts than one which is the leader of all crypto, bitcoin.

DAI looks a very good altcoin as it has the same score as bitcoin. Just try to remind you if the asset gets less score and that means the altcoin is too far to be considered as security coin.

If the asset has 1.00 score and it has a big chance to be considered as utility coin based on its use case

I belief every single top ranked coins on CMC are ranked based on how good they are, you need to do research to understand what these coins do and why they are ranked up on CMC, we all know the reason why ETH is the number two on CMC, its because of its usefulness

Unfortunately no altcoin has reached that level of use and adoption atleast uptill now but im still hopeful that eth will be massively used and adopted in coming years, it is not only a cryptocurrency but offers multi array of services and features that makes it unique and the need for the modern era.

At present the real use of all alts revolves only in their ecosystem or platform, such as ETH and BNB. Very different like the use of BTC, has broad adoption and simple examples that we often encounter that there are many online stores, marketplaces and other things that "accept Bitcoin". So in the case of real use Bitcoin is the most potential coin, because so far I have not seen or I've missed it (alt which is potentially and more feasible than Bitcoin right now).

ETH and TRON with thier dapps is almost all alts with real world usecases

I cannot remember anything about the product useful in our lives. Developers are most sensitive to the crypto community, so crypto related innovations are more common. And in this case, developers are always looking for improvement. But in real life, the situation is a bit different: Blockchain technology should be applied somewhere in real life then the developers transfer it to crypto.

Altcoins can always be applied on our basic live if a person knows the value of a certain crypto, just like being a trader of different crypto coins. With physical products, there's no specific idea to where it will be used for but all I believed was there were people who liked using it having transactions with same crypto users. This needs to be more developed in order that it would be implemented on our daily lives.

Xrp if this will adopt by many bank around the world there will be more use cases in this coin.
ETH - you kNow many project now use this platform and not only that by sending any token you need to have eth for gas so this have also use cases . It will stop if people also stop using ethereum platform.

I am a crypto lover, and I also hope that the actual use of crypto will soon be realized. here, crypto can be traded at a local exchange, and if I want to pay utility bills and other payments, then I have to convert it first with the legal currency here.

Most of the altcoins in the top list has got real time usages. Few of which in my view are EOS, XRP, TRX, Cardano, IOTA, DENT, ETH, and the list goes on. Different altcoin have different usage, in common they are all helpful in transactions. XRP particularly for banking support, IOTA on network development, DENT on Mobile Data Management needs around the world.

Their dapps is only limited in around cryptocurrency ecosystem, both of them have a scalability issue.
So far I do not see any altcoin that has real use, and Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that works as a store of value.

yes i know bitcoin is the main one but we also can't ignore alt they come with various new and interesting developments, maybe for the current payment bitcoin is the main, but in the next few years maybe alt can also be used as payment, just a problem just time.

There are a large number of coins that are created for use inside the platform or in blockchain games or casinos. but so far I do not know such coins that could be used in the real world in order to make some kind of purchases in stores. I also know that there are many web sites that accept cryptocurrency as a payment method for some staff in online stores. For example, you can buy some a car for ETH

Bitcoin's weakness is that transactions are a bit slow when compared to altcoin, which is just a few seconds the block has been confirmed quickly. But for now the only real use is on Bitcoin because of high scalability and more stable prices. and bitcoin can indeed store value without losing, even though the long term is in accordance with the facts. But do not underestimate the Alt some of them are also very potential, with the terms of regulation free of use and provide concepts that are easy to use, safe, unique or interesting. it's just that in my opinion it takes time.

The only one that come to my mind is Bat

BAT is the native token of the Brave browser and has two main use cases:
1) You can use it to directly tip content creators through the brave browser
2) You can use it to buy ads, that are viewed by the users of the Brave browser. In case you don't know it, brave essentially blocks all the intrusive "mainstream" ads and replaces some of them with its own.

Other than BAT, there's also STEEM which is the native token of the Steemit social network. The more steem you hodl the more your vote there is worth and hence you can use it to reward other content creators.

That's the only two coins I can think off, that have some kind of real life use case. Still, they are miles away to anything close to mainstream adoption and every day use by the average joe.

In my opinion, in the near future, the greatest potential will be accumulated by stable coins.
More precisely, their digital analogues of banking and state financial systems.
The cryptocurrency market is not stable and not so attractive for the average citizen, but storing and transferring money using digital analogs may well become what everyone needs.

For now bitcoin is a choice for many people and many people who use bitcoin as payment as what you say and for altcoin themselves already have started using payments with altcoin and maybe every altcoin will always make updates to develop what they have and innovate or feature features that are not owned by other coins that can make it superior to others.

There are some project with good product for community. BNB is one of them, this is Binance token and have some use like reduce trading fee, buy IEO. This token is only use by crypto traders and already some lots of good effect. The next one, i think about TRX because there are many dApp use this coin to reward users. I believe there will be more coins can be useful in real life.

I think that third generation blockchains like EOS, TRON, IOST, etc, have the most potential to really innovate in cooperating new use cases. I don't understand why these new blockchains and platforms don't take off in the market and moon?I think that Tron and EOS have the dapp markets by the freaking balls, and IOST (a more recent third generation blockchain platform) is slowly playing catch up. I think these would be the most successful platforms eventually, until the 4th generation of blockchains and platforms come out.

That instability might not be that attractive to the average person, but for investors, I think it's very interesting, moreover the rate of increase is so great. but, still, new and potential altcoin and top altcoin have become an area that is often used by investors. however, stable coins are sometimes used as a place to take advantage of falling prices.

You are simply contradicting yourself because you are expecting all the coins should be having a real life application similar to bitcoin. Yes, ethereum is not a money but it is just a gas which is needed for its smart contracts to function. When ethereum is not for money like usage then why you are expecting them to be adopted by stores. You need to understand all the commodities cannot be money but money can act as commodity too.

Most altcoins are just creating their own use cases like gambling money or exchange fee (like BNB in previous version). Ethereum kind of smart contract based coins are having in-house use cases. But, you need to understand that success of a coin does not depend on use case as investors need good returns hence you simply need frequent pumps and dumps to adopters busy which will lead to huge success of that coin like how XRP is doing.

Exchange tokens like bnb and ecxx have good use cases.

Many altcoins have their real use cases, you can't ask people for that and starting buying coins because people say they have potentials, you need to do the right findings yourself, you can start on coinmarketcap and focus in top altcoins

I believe at the moment the best altcoin is Ethereum. So this coin has great potential for developing a good business. The Ethereum coin also brings a good return on investment. And I believe that this coin is worthy of being the most popular in the cryptocurrency market.

Up to now, I have not seen any altcoin put into use in our lives. There are many altcoins created with many different uses, but after a long time of operation, no altcoins really meet the needs of everyone. But, seem like you wouldn't be lucky if you choose an altcoin although the altcoin has a useful case to be realized. Even, some of them will make you lose because the altcoin price just have a high price when it is new to be traded. So, my point is as someone has stated that you should choose only bitcoin if you find profit and also for a use case. Please see how many merchant who decided to accept bitcoin as its payment system? Also how many people who got a lot of wealth from their investment in bitcoin?

Ripple and Binance coins are one of the potentially very good coins besides ethereum.
for use in life I do not know but ethereum also does not show a function in the daily life that I experience. all I answer and know is the most suitable for investment.

Realizing crypto as a legitimate payment tool is not an easy thing. When we talk about a lot of countries that have adopted an altcoin for a legitimate payment or as you buy a beer and pay for it only with a barcode scan is already happening but not everyone in this world who understands how important and Secure using crypto. Not to mention the internal problems of the government that has spent a lot of state money to make real money as a legitimate pay tool, well to make a new payment system for sure they will think several times considering the profit and Disadvantage.

Bitcoin is the always the coin that gets the most utilization when it comes to payment. I just read a thread recently about the OP looking for XRP payments, and from my research, it just showed few services that accepts it.

BNB is the biggest example, they have so many ways to use it, Eos is basically smaller but similar as well.

For bnb, you have a binance exchange, you have binance dex, you have binance trading fee, you have burning, you have funding of IEO, and those are all the ones I can remember without looking up anywhere, its used like hell and that is why it worths so much compared to when it first started, I wish I kept my BNB from back in the day, I had a ton of it during the early days thanks to my affiliates but it was a good chunk of money so I withdrew it, if I kept it I would had so much more money now.

Eos is smaller of course but there are tons of dapps built around EOS, so much so that eos blockchain got clogged few times in 2019 from all the attention it got.

Adoption isn't that wide for now with altcoins but for bitcoin, it's a very popular mode of payment for most and you don't have to worry about its acceptance because it's the most accepted crypto. Ethereum is the second known crypto and known for the alts but still I agree with what you have said that it is struggling to be adopted by most people. Probably, they are looking into it as a source of different tokens which they don't because it has made a lot of it before and keeps on going.

There is much use of top ten altcoins along with the use of bitcoin. Many people like to transfer their money via ethereum, litecoin or any other coin which have low transaction fees because many people when sending a small amount in crypto then they cannot afford the fees of bitcoin transaction. xrp continues to move with the approval of certain banks in collaboration from their latest application, most recently they collaborate with one of the oldest banks in Thailand. For ethereum also recently won an important patent for the fiat-crypto transaction system. They haven't had significant success in real business, but adoption has moved very positively.

because every altcoin has different activities and uses, if your country originates from crypto it is already legal, of course there are many uses besides being a transaction and investment tool.

For real life, even bitcoin still must face the main problem. Regulation, 1 word but really important because if there are no regulation about bitcoin or maybe bitcoin can be legalize, only need time for people to use it as payment. And then it can be followed by altcoins too.

I don't think there is yet. all altcoin is still used on the internet. rapid growth is only on the blockchain ... but in fact, it is still not possible for real use cases. We know that ETH is the best altcoin of all because ETH is under BTC. And to invest in ETH itself is a good decision because we all know that ETH is a coin that has the potential to be able to generate large profits and returns. But actually not only ETH, there are a lot of good and profitable altcoins, all we have to do is look for opportunities to determine at what point when we will buy and sell these coins.

In terms of utility, I only know 2 altcoins that are also accepting as mode of payment in few stores. ETH and XRP are now alsobecoming popular but the problem is those who want to adopt cryptocurrencies are focusing more in bitcoin than in altcoins. Most of the people who patronizing altcoins have a purpose of price appreciation and not to use it. The price appreciation is all about trading where people are just buying and selling altcoins because their focus is just to make profit.

Actually, when the stability itself is an opportunity for investors to be able to produce large or multiplied profits, of course this is very risky especially if the investor buys a coin or incorrectly predicts the likelihood that will occur later and precisely the losses that can be obtained and it is true that Today's investors will prefer to play it safe rather than take a big risk.

There is no other coins apart from the Ethereum you have mentioned. I have never seen any other coins being used for transaction in any case, not even in online stores. Ethereum is the only altcoins that I have seen a few times, the majority are using Bitcoin.

I have also made use of Ethereum and I'm currently using it now for transaction because that's what my business partners uses for transaction, sometimes they switch to Bitcoin. If Libra should be released there is probably going to be huge adoption for it and the way I see it it's going to be on par with Bitcoin when it comes to use case.

Not all altcoins are created plainly as a currency. I guess Ethereum was not really created mainly as a currency just like Bitcoin. It is a currency but with a certain purpose. Ethereum was built offering smart contract. Litecoin was a currency just like Bitcoin. Monero was also a currency but with a strong touch of privacy. Others are coins and tokens minted for a specific purpose or ecosystem.

Stores are not yet fully accepting crypto. Only a handful of them do. But to the stores accepting crypto, Bitcoin will always be there, followed perhaps by Ethereum or Litecoin.

Now it seems that in addition to Bitcoin, it is Ethereum. After all, there are more applications on Ethereum. Smart contracts do have uses in real life, such as contract implementation. Yes no doubt ETH is good Altcoin that we can invest our money in has great name in market and people believe in ETH for earning good profit and for other uses but as everyone has their own choice so my choice is to invest my money in bitcoin because for me no other coin is that trustworthy as bitcoin is so I personally consider bitcoin the best coin for having on my portfolio.

There are lots of Altcoins that have potential to be used. It is just that we are mainly focusing our eyes into Bitcoin because it is the most popular and most outstanding cryptocurrency of all time that is why it seems Altcoins are being set aside and only being noticed when the price of Bitcoin is struggling into down fall. Also, even there are lots of potential Altcoins, we are being blind of the concept that potential coins must have great amount when it comes to price which is just a one factor because for me a potential coin has a gopd price and useful in a sense that many people are raising the demand not just because of price but also its usage. The top ranked cryptocurrencies are mostly made up of potential coins so I can say that potential Altcoins do exist which can be useful in everyday life basis. Now the use of it depends on how we will use it that will suit our needs.

Smartcontract doesn't have a lot of capabilities to be used on real life and it has limitation. Mostly of the smartcontract implementation still around the tokenization and i never see any service that uses smartcontract for another purpose than tokenization purpose. The future of ethereum can't be determine as we are still waitinf for the result from the ethereum big update that will be happening next year.

Top "ranks" are based on some metric. Look carefully and you will find it in the charts. It is going to be some price of every altcoin is you stack them all against another and they will get a rank there. That rank does not have any other subjective propagation. It is just a number in the list. No reason for that to have a potential use case.

Take for example BSV and other forked coins like ETC. They were made out of community demands. But are they of any use? Nope. But Why?

Because it is difficult and painful to make people accept and afford something that is difficult for them to understand. Crypto is not every person's cake. Most people cant understand how it works and it is a tough to make them understand.
