Title: [Newbie to Full Member ranks] Merit Spree for the future of Phil Local Members
Post by: cryptoaddictchie on February 01, 2020, 08:35:55 AM
Hello there I post this to give chance to our Local Group who are still in lower ranks from newbie to Full member ranks.

Local Rule: Senior member and above can give their feedback if they feel it but this post is for the benefits of our local lower ranks. They are my priority for this. Thanks. I will self moderate this thread to avoid such spam for those who will comment non sense and for the purpose of your signature campaign.

Ive like everyone to wrap up what you learned so far since you joined the forum which include important rules and information that you gained here. Bring it all. If your account is created for bounty and airdrop. I'm sorry you can't participate here. I will review your posts to make sure you are not a robot created for money grabs. Too much reports for social media posted will not be tolerated.

Rule Only one entry post for everyone. The merits I will give depends on how you can impress me with your answer. Will check on submission on later date.

Here is sample of what you can write here. But this is just an example and please make your own observation.

Example
cryptoaddictchie

Ive been a more than 2 years user already. What captured and struck me most about forum is you have free will to say what you feel but you need to be observant. As a newbie[member rank] during my time Ive got a lot of deleted post. Why? Due to off topic, and wrong posting of topics Ive created. This is the important I always remember.

  • Post in right section, you can see and read each section what they are for If your asking about certain altcoin dont be stupid to post it on bitcointalk discussion or your creating a topic about an artist without any relation to cryptocurrency that shit goes to off topic something like that.
  • Keep your mouth respectful, automatically if you used cursed in an appropriate way or against anyone is absolute violation here.
  • Avoid Burst posting, leave a gap and dont make it obvious youre only after a qouta for a signature campaign. Post naturally like you enjoying what you read then write.

Okay it's your turn. Good luck, They say, first impression last, but prove it that you can change. I am indeed a shitposter before and I admit that but it can change if you focus and give your best on what you do. I'm not a merit source only a concern citizen of this Local section. Maybe in the future I can apply if I feel I'm already worth to apply and served well like our only merit source @cabalism13.

I accept tagalog post if you feel to explain yourself in our own language.

I will locked the thread if enough submissions has been reached. My budget for merit isn't that so high as well but I will be glad to spend it all on our Local members here who can give me satisfying response. Key point here is how you will write and express yourself.

Most merit giveaway threads were either posted at the Pamilihan board or moved there by our local moderator. I guess that is the correct board for topics like this. You can set a good example to the lower rank accounts by moving this there. Upon searching, I also saw that you have another giveaway thread that is still active. Maybe lock it first?

The purpose of this thread is the same with cabalism13's "[DISCUSSION] What have you learned on BITCOINTALK FORUM? Share Your Experiences. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169930.0)"

Hi! This is a good idea to give us an awareness to avoid spam posting especially here in bitcointalk forum. In case my posts will be valid.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222066.msg53742548#msg53742548 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222066.msg53742548#msg53742548)

@rosezionjohn, I appreciate your feedback. I already move topic to appropriate section.

I think I know it has the same purpose with cabalism13. This is to asses those newbies or lower rank below senior member. I can think of other way but I hope it's not wrong to have same purpose. Also this time I will be the one who will check it. If moderator found this activity such as spam I cant argue with that.

Rules are very simple. It's just that the first who submitted  dont know how to read first before clicking "Post"

Upon searching, I also saw that you have another giveaway thread that is still active. Maybe lock it first?

Yeah I did leave a message on the last page pertaining why isnt locked and still expect some to still send their post for other users to notice.

Thanks.

Almost 3years on this forum and I can say that my knowledge is still not enough because this cryptoforum grows every year, and the cryptomarket continues from evolving. Despite of these challenges, I can say that the forum helps me a lot, it makes me a better person and a more discipline in terms of trading, and dealings with other people. This forum teaches me everything, as in my whole journey in cryptomarket. More importantly,

***This forum teaches me to be more thoughtful, responsible and grateful at the same time - Dealing with other people is not easy, we all have different insights on every topic yet because of this forum, I was able to deal with it. The fruit of your work will be huge if you’re responsible, So I learned to follow every instructions and to be more responsible on everything I share into this forum. The forum is my source of crypto knowledge and one source of my crypto income, and I’m so grateful for that, words can’t express how thankful I am.***

I face big challenges before, but the whole cryptomarket teaches me that If I lose big, I will win big one day! and this forum proves that to me. There are so much opportunities in this forum, read every details and instructions then you will be fine! Keep praying and fighting mga kababayan!  :)

Good Day Everyone,

I've been here in this community during the peak of Initial Coin Offering (ICO) where everyone gets bamboozled due to an increasing cases of a get rich quick earning of cryptocurrencies and ERC20 tokens that can be exchanged by Bitcoins. That was also the year wherein the merit system has not been implemented yet in this community wherein most people does not consider making any substantial post that will truly help the community but rather increasing their post count only to get compensated is their sole reason why they signed up in this community including me. I've also met other Filipino forum member here including theyoungmillionaire, crwth, Silent26 and finaleshot2016. These are the people who inspired me to do a lot better in posting especially when our local section is being swarmed by shitposters. If you will take a look at my previous posts, those are the years where I am active posting and helping other people in their concerns in our Local Section. Unfortunately, I had to Li-Low because of the increasing amount of responsibility in Academic and personal growth. But then it does not stop me from being a lurker in this community just to continue being updated and learning as much as I can.

However, I reached the Rank of Full Member mainly because of the Merit Spree given by other members in the Last 10th Anniversary Contest in Bitcointalk. I received hundreds of merits which warms my heart because of the appreciation of other people in my Artwork making me motivated to post much better in this community. As of now, I am not that active because I am still at my First Year in College. I did not expect such massive amount of workload in the academe.  :-[

But then, I would like share with you what are the realization during my stay here in this community. Since I am not posting that much, I am lurking in some of the interesting topics and dispute in our community.

  • I have learned that one of the most reputable and known member in this community Vod and Og has a dispute. And I've realized that there is a pyschological effect when it comes to Trust System and Merit. Those people are the ones whom I look up to but I think if there is a reputation and money involved, there is a greater chance of getting in trouble.  :'(
  • You can use this forum to show people what are your talents and skillset which you can use to monetise and benefit from it. As of now I posted a Portrait Commission Service in our Pamilihan and in Services board.
  • I have learned to widen my personal point of view with regards to different opinions of other people. Silently reading in Politics And Society Board is a great way to indulge yourself into different scenario in a particular issue.
  • This forum helps me to cover some answers from other people if you are having a hard time making decision in a particular scenario in life. I respect poeple who are very technical in answering technical queries. I learned a lot from them.

As of now, I am still learning how forum and cryptocurrency works. And I am being fired up to learn as much as I can because of the people who are wearing Chipmixer..Dunno but most of the people who are wearing those cool sigs are so fvckin intelligent. Hoping to be one of them someday. But for now, focusing in academe than posting crap in this community is much better to do.  :)

Been in the forum for a little over two years now and i could say that i've learned a lot about this forum and of course about Bitcoin also.

>>I've learned that you can't be rich overnight by joining this forum

>>You need not be a very good english poster to be reputable in this forum

Noong una, akala ko i-check ng mga mods yong mga grammar natin which is hindi naman pala. Kung magpo-post tayo outside local just say what you have in your mind at kung malabo at hindi nila naiintidihan, magtatanong naman sila sa iyo, for clarification of what you have said. Pero mas nakakabuti na rin para sa atin na mag-aral pa ng mabuti paano magsulat ng english, laking tulong ito kung gusto mong kumita dito sa forum dahil it's easy for you to join signature campaign.

>>Don't call other users here, specially foreigner "SIR"

Magmumukha tayong tanga pag ginawa natin ito. May ginawa pa nga akong thread tungkol dito pero binura nga mods, dahil siguro off topic. May nakita kasi akong thread noon na inaakusahan yong Filipino user ng account farming and he explain his/her side at out respect na nasa dugo na nating mga Pilipino ay nabanggit niya ng ilang beses ang "sir" at dahil dito pinagtatawanan siya, Talagang awang-awa ako sa kanya. Alam ko kasi na out of respect kaya tinawag niya yong foreign user na "sir" pero that's not the way the see it.

>>I've learned through this forum that we can gamble online using crypto  :)

Ito ang pinaka-importanteng natutunan ko kasi it involves money and i must admit na until now pinag-aaralan ko itong mabuti kung paano magsugal ng crypto na kumikita kahit hindi gaanong kalaki pero steady. Kahit low rank user lang ako sa forum na ito pero parang Legendary when it comes to betting, yan ang gusto ko at sana maabot ko yon lol.

This forum help me a lot even if i discover this forum lately. This forum teach me how can i properly study about bitcoin, altcoins, exchange, wallet creation, making money with no capital and so on. There is a lot of knowledge that can be found here. My memorable experience here that i cannot forget is to have an EFFORT, PATIENCE AND LEARNING. A piece of advice sa mga magpo-post ng mga learning experience nila dito, be honest. Do not create stories for the sake of getting merits. Just because many are friendly and willing to help you rank up here ay aabusuhin na natin. I don't have a full load of merits to give kagaya ni OP kaya medyo mas mabusisi ako sa bibigyan.

I've started here last October 2018 and I didn't noticed time flies so fast... Starting as a newbie isn't easy. You have to observe everyone just to understand what they are doing. Although I have someone who guided me when I'm just starting here in the forum but there's too much information that I need to learn in order to keep up with everyone.

Starting as a newbie feels like you were nothing compared to higher ranks. So it serves as my inspiration to earn merits, but I didn't know how to earn one. Is there any basis or criteria for me to receive a merit? I started posting with my basic knowledge, trying to gain merits but it wasn't easy at all. Opportunity came when theymos started an art contest for the 10th anniversary which gave me hope. I submitted different entries trying to earn merits and fortunately, there are some people who appreciated my efforts.

When you started gaining merits continuously, it makes you want to earn more. So I stepped out of my comfort zone, I tried creating my own topic here in the local board, and gladly I received a lot of merits. Now, I'm still trying to improve myself by creating more topics and even stepping a broader board like bitcoin and altcoin discussion and more.

What I have learned from the past year is;
1. if you really want something, go make efforts in achieving it.
2. don't be contented inside your comfort zone if you want to achieve your goal. And that's what I'm trying to do until now. Creating topics just to give informative content and updates to everyone.
3. Lastly, is to continuously grow by improving yourself. Study more about cryptocurrency and blockchain because you can't share anything if you don't have any knowledge about it. And also improving myself by giving quality posts because that's one of the major factors that they are looking in giving merits.

Kindness is our own personal attitude and I'm not sure if I should include it, but being kind, humble, and friendly towards other users will also help you, not just by earning merits but also gaining friends.

I think many of you are still lucky, when I reached the full member and was able to install the avatar a few days later there was a merit system that came and some of my posts were deleted so that the position of the full member went down to the members again and I was stuck with this avatar, honestly I just want to release this avatar but I can't because I have to collect a few merits first and it's very difficult.

I've appealed to the meta forum to help release this avatar but no one can and theymose even the moderator can't because there is a merit that makes it difficult for me to go full member and release this avatar.

bitcointalk forum is the best forum for, it can teach you the best lesson in life.
During the peak season, i was here and that’s the time I started here and I learned so many lesson.

1. Be better and stay better - There are times that almost all my post got deleted, and I was banned because of that before but since then, I realized that I have to be better and I have to be more objective so the people here wont report me anymore and will start to appreciate my work. Now, no more post got deleted because I started to read and study first before I post my comment.

2. Never trust someone - This forum teaches me to be more selfish, I got scammed here (through telegram) before using someones name in the forum and ask me to send some ETH and it will be doubled, that time I’m on a greedy mode and because of trusting someone I don’t know that much, my money was gone. This is an eye opener for me, and that time I didn’t do transactions to unfamiliar users.

3. Don’t be greedy - There are so many ways to earn money here but being greedy is one way to stay on track, I learned this from my previous scam experience. Also looking for a campaign should not be more greedy, kase you need to know first if legit ba yung campaign and I also learn na wag basta batas lilipat ng campaign para hinde masira ang reputation mo.

Well, this is a very nice thread OP and thank you sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa ating local forum.

Indeed, here in the forum, it brings me a lot of benefits and let say when it comes to a financial problem talagang ang forum is a big help in order to sustain our daily expenses. Back then year 2017 when I registered on this forum because at that time crypto market and the name of Bitcoin was very popular and I heard that this forum we can earn a free satoshi basta't may tiyaga ka lang, they said.

Well, I am here until now perhaps you are reading my post and I want to share what are those things that I had learned here in the forum.

--[My English Skill]-- before I am very kulilat when it comes composing a sentence, takot ako mag explores anywhere kasi uso pa nuon ma red tag ka dahil ikaw ay shit post. DT members at that time were very strict and you will automatically have red mark in your profile as a shitposter. Mabuti nalang last year nadiscover ko and Grammarly at malaking tulong talaga sa kagaya ko na nahihirapan sa wikang Inglis.

--[Learned Abbreviate term]-- I have learned a lot of those abbreviate that I have never known even in my college. Just like.

--[Trading, Investing, and Gambling]-- Are those trying to learn more until now and also I want to learn how to use trading bot.

Buti nalang naging Sr. Member na ako bago dumating ang merit system and until now I am struggling to rank up, katulad ng iba dito lahat tayo ay yan ang inaasam-asam. 'yong mga nasa mababang rank push lang kayo mga brod! time will come makamit din ninyo ang mga pangarap niyo katulad ni OP. Indeed, bro OP maraming salamat sa thread mo and congrats na din Hero Member kana.

Bro, op. Maganda ang merit number mo parang ulam.

I like the post of @Maus0728 very inspiring and really reflect on his journey here. Some submission worth noticing too. But the most quality one for the submission is him. Other post is also interesting. Cant wait for those who hasnt submitted yet. Keep pouring still have some smerit to spend.

I've appealed to the meta forum to help release this avatar but no one can and theymose even the moderator can't because there is a merit that makes it difficult for me to go full member and release this avatar.

You didnt follow what should be written here instead you just complained how could I judge that? Also, reviewing your post has no sign of being a Local here in this section. Sorry dude.

Well, this is a very nice thread OP and thank you sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa ating local forum.

Bro, op. Maganda ang merit number mo parang ulam.

Thanks for feedback dude. Of course, I am always supporting our Local group in best way I could help here. Haha funny 555 sardines already posted mate on meta.

For all higher rank who would submit their own background experience here. Feel free, but I will prioritize first those our lower ranks as Ive mentioned in my post. Dont worry your words here are well noted.

Good Day!

I think I need to share my learnings from the past years that I have been a member in our forum but first, I want to give thanks to every one that serves as my inspiration to post quality contents, and to provide the best of my knowledge to help other members here on our forum.

A little bit of a background of why I am here and how I started, I've registered way back 2 years ago already knowing that this forum is great for knowledge and for earning additional income. I am also one of those who took advantage of the ICO's and other platforms by spam bursting signature campaigns using multi accounts before, and putting allot of efforts for the sake of earning crypto. I've stopped for a year which is in 2019 and focus on studying upon realizing that I haven't really getting any thing from the tokens that I've collected from the bounties and airdrops where I've joined.

You probably noticed that all these are realtalks and here's more...

Before 2019, I've accepted that my faith isn't with with forum or with cryptocurrency despite of all the hard works that I did, I end up with knowledge about ICO's where I didn't really achieved anything after all.

The comeback...

in September 2019, I've decided to come back here with this account, change the way how I see this forum. I asked myself, "why am I not getting any merits?" after this, I've decided to stick with one account and did my best to post quality contents starting from the time when bitcointalk is at its 10th year anniversary when I've received enormous amount of merits. I've posted this topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197994.msg52955296#msg52955296), confirming my new beginnings with the forum, and at the same time, most of the DT and other members saw my alt accounts. Knowing that my intention is to start again, a member of the forum gave me negative trust for my alt accounts and let this account continue.

That is too hard for me to accept, but upon learning allot from my mistakes, I've realized that it is never good to cheat. I've formally started new life with our forum as I perceived that our wrong doing, even if we are anonymous reflects our true identity.

I want to share some highlights of my learning for newbies to learn as well:
  • Let's start with using One account - Using only one account will enable you to post quality contents and to contribute more time to the forum. Spam bursting could be avoided if we know how to discipline ourselves especially by doing research first before posting as we aren't striving to reach quota in a particular campaign. In addition, campaign should not be the only reason why we post knowledgeable contents, but to consider helping others. others are doing their best to help us, thus, we should do our best to contribute as well.
  • Use Grammarly - Most of us are striving to post in international boards, as part of our contribution, we should adhere to the international language standards for everyone to perceive the idea that we have. Using grammarly could help us lessen our errors and deliver our ideas more effective. I use plugins where grammarly automatically corrects my grammar, direct link here. (https://app.grammarly.com/?network=g&utm_source=google&matchtype=e&gclid=CjwKCAiAg9rxBRADEiwAxKDTuoxIccuBxJB_E35NqjhKUele5nPnEI5VJXC7Jkh_WLbsd7rIioV06RoCxXMQAvD_BwE&placement=&q=brand&utm_content=229891228531&utm_campaign=brand_f1&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=grammarly)
  • Do not post oversize pictures or do not incorporate pictures at all - as part of my new beginning here, I've tried to post topics with pictures edited by me, knowing that it could contribute to the ideas that I have. I am not saying that it is improper, but most of the forum members want to read plain text and they do not want to see images. In addition, it looks like we're just advertising a site when we post with pictures.
  • Always thank members who allow you to use their contents - Sometimes, there are contents made by other members that is in English that we want to translate, or some information that we want to post such as statistics etc, we should always express our gratitude and cite them properly, tag them to show appreciation. This is a basic manner we've developed personally and it should also be applied even in digital means.

I've learned allot from this forum, and I am thankful as well to all the members who helped me to continue and to post with quality.

Hello fellow members!

As I have almost reached my  two year of being a bitcointalk member, there are so many things I have learned from the past. You see, I was a noob before. I've entered this forum with just only one word that I knew--"BITCOIN". Without further knowledge about what it is, how can it be used and so on.

From being a newbie, reading is my only choice to learn here. Vague words were being introduced to me in this forum but I tend to catch up little by little.

I will be very honest, I signed up here because I wanna follow my brother's step as a trader. He is my mentor but let me do some readings and build my foundation first in this forum. Whenever there are lack of understanding, this forum is my home to give me some essentials that I need.

I have learned so many things, one of those are:

  • To become useful in this forum community. I don't want to become newbie forever. That is why I made my choice to step forward, sharing helpful tips and informations about crypto that I think will be significant in this forum. If I will hide and be contented on being a newbie and member, there is no progress.

  • That there are many types of Traders. And being a trader needs many ingredients. I have learned how to manage my emotions, how to read charts and technical analysis, how to set stop loss. How to enter and exit in the right time.

  • That Learning is a Process. I don't consider myself knowedgeable enough. There are still new learnings everyday and this forum offers a lot if we want to know more about cryptocurrency. Length of stay here doesn't weigh how far your knowledge is.

I just gave everyone here  a boost(only the one above my post). I do hope it will help you to continue your activities here and other things that can help the community. Don't forget to share the things you have learned from the others.
I'm still at the shadows, nagbabantay dito sa Lokal.

AND PLEASE...

I started in the forum September 03, 2017 and it is almost 2 and a half years, starting from the bottom as a newbie I don't really aim anything and don't have really an idea about this forum is all about but I just join in the forum for information since it is a forum about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I don't really know where to post and since I was just a newbie I just post in bitcoin discussion for my questions, off-topic, beginners & help and Pilipinas. I just post something or reply sa mga post ng iba kapag alam ko ang sagot pero dahil newbie parang ako noon madalas walang kwenta pa ang mga sagot ko also I just post here in the forum for my questions about bitcoin because I was planning to start a mining thing that I stop pursuing because it needed a high capital. Overall it was still a great thing since a lot of users in the forums is answering a lot of question also telling me their experience in bitcoin mining. Obviously I have a lot of deleted posts because it was just a one-liner. I started joining the signature campaign and just aiming for the profit. And then after a year maybe I stop and came back last year and then I started to get posting a lot of helpful post in the forum aiming to help the community and to be honest it was just fun helping others and raking up at the same time:

What I've learned in the forum that could be useful to the community:
1. Aim to help others in the forum, I mean this is one of the goals in the forum so that we could have a discussion and help each other in a problem about cryptocurrency, bitcoin, etc..
3. Always make your post constructive and helpful for others not just to have a lot of posts and get a high rank. When I was just getting started I just post to get a high rank since it doesn't need merit to rank up in the past years you just need to have a lot of posts and wait for your activity to spike.

I don't have any long story to tell here. I have no idea rin paano ko sisimulan ito. Turning 3 years na rin pala ako dito sa forum having this one account alone. Maganda-ganda rin naman ang start-up ko rito since nung nagsisimula pa lamang ako ay hindi ako nag-iisa, may nagga-guide sakin 'di lamang dito sa forum pati na rin sa kaibigan since recommendation niya sa akin ito. Totally wala akong idea kung ano ba itong forum as a whole, I know what bitcoin is, solely based sa aking nabasa sa facebook pero deep behind that wala na. Upon my journey, unti-unti na na-develop 'yong idea at the same time 'yong essence nitong forum (para i-connect tayong mga crypto enthusiast; exchange discussions, news and services na rin).  2017 ako nag-register, clueless na 'yong year na 'yon ang pinaka-summit ng market. And by that time pa-easy easy lang ako 'di ako nag-took advantage. Didn't regret it din naman since na sa process ako nung pag-tuklas ng mga bagay-bagay dito.

Nag-pause ako mid-year 2018, dumami task at responsibility sa school, pasilip-silip lang dito pero I didn't get myself involve with any of this. And I decided bumalik after a year then, at 'yon na rin napasama sa art contest. 'Di lang sa merit ako natuwa upon joining doon, dahil na rin mas nakilala ko pa mga kapwa ko tao rito sa local. Mas lumawak 'yong ground ko to learn, at source na rin ng mga opportunity lol. And mas na-appreciate ko lalo 'tong forum, better sa kung ano tingin ko rito way back then.

Learnings:
  • Quality post matters - way back before, when I started to register here wala pang merit system, kaya maraming shitpost para may mai-submit sa mga post requirement sa campaign. Well, aminado ako na I am one of them before, but I changed, and will continue to improve.
Pero mas better na i-avoid natin ito just for the sake of receiving merits, fooling others na you made a quality post, pero 'di naman talaga.

Pero tapusin ko na dito, thank you for opening this topic OP. Sabi ko wala ako gaano story lol. Thank you, guys at thank you rin sa forum na ito.

I am here on this forum because of my classmates who actually told me everything about cryptocurrency. It happened last 2017 in our school when they are talking about bitcoin on how good it is and how are they earning money without making themselves deposit even an ounce. At first, when I hear about that, I don't really believe that because how are you gonna earn if you don't have any capital but when they taught me how to earn, how to create my own account and to do what is right, I mean the rules so that I can last long doing that stuff. They taught me how to join a particular signature campaign wherein they told me that I should promote that project by wearing their signature by doing a quality post in this forum. That year was really awesome because almost all of the projects I have joined becomes successful and I can say to myself that being involved in this kind of forum is such a blessing and a good opportunity because I can earn money which I don't believe at first.

But suddenly, when the market falls and some projects are failing to continue and bulks of tasks and requirements to do in our school. I somehow stopped doing my thing and I gave my attention and focus to my studies but still, I am checking my account every week so that I am informed and updated what is happening on the forum.

What I learned on the forum that I can share is that:
1. We should be aware of everything we are doing here. As a user, we should be aware of making decisions because as of now there are lots of scammers and we don't want bad things to happen especially when our own money and account are involved.
2. We must help each other with all of our hearts. As a member of this community, we must support each other and do not bring others down so that we can all rise to the top and reach our personal goals.
3. We must follow the rules. As a user, we must follow forum rules so that we can still use our account. There are lots of rules but it is easy to follow such us doing a quality post, avoid scamming other people, and etc.

I've been here in the forum for almost 4 yrs. Bumalik ako after 1 year because of my Facebook friend, sinabi nya sa akin na madami daw akong pwedeng matutunan dito at syempre pwede din daw ako kumita.

My 2 years in the forum is not that meaningful but of course, it is still a blessings to be here. I stopped working here before because I got scammed and literally devastated that time, but since last year I tried to be active again and now I’m desperate to be better this time. I learned on a hard way honestly, and this is the list of my learnings and experience in the forum;

1. Stay Active - Good campaigns didn’t accept inactive users, so if I really want to stay here then I should be active even if I don’t have a campaign.

2. Don’t be afraid to ask - Honestly, I’m still struggling about this one since I’m afraid to be bash if people don’t want my question but I realize that its ok because not all people here are bully and they can really help you if pursigido ka matuto sa tinatanong mo.

3. Get away from scammers - I learned this one in the forum since then, and before I join and trust someone I use this forum to get a better information and a better opinions from the experts so by this makakaiwas ako sa pagkalugi at hinde na maiiscam pang muli.

4. Maging masipag - This forum teaches me to be like this, before di ako masyadong nagbabasa ng tungkol sa cryptocurrency peron simula nung nakasali ako dito ay naging matyaga na ako sa pagbabasa at dahil dito mas lumawak pa ang aking kaalaman sa cryptocurrency.

Thank you so much OP for this kind of thread, sana marami pa ang magjoin na lower ranks tulad ko. We will rise as one mga pinoy!

Its been a fruitful 3 years for me here in the forum actually this coming August 2020 is my 3 years stay here. I just luckily found the forum while finding some Satohsi (Faucet Website). But I didn't Register that time, Later on I learned about bounty and airdrop and it requires to register and that's where it started. The most important thing I have learned is about Satoshi Nakamoto (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3), I have learned that after several months  :D I was just amazed that He/she is the creator of bitcoin and the Founder of this forum. A life-changing creation that unites the world. As a member, I am thankful and proud to be here.

I have learned a few things.
* I have learned about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology but I am not an expert.
* To be a good member you don't have to be a good poster and create many threads, reading and learning at the same time is enough. But if you have the
knowledge and you know it can help others it is much better.
* Use the search button before creating new threads.
* Time management, Signature campaigns really helps me in that part.  :D

Practice lang ako mag English hahaha Magandang Araw Kabayan!

if not in this thread i will not even checked how long i have been here now ,it is 2 1/2 years of being active in Bitcointalk.org but still have no enough Knowledge in many things here, aside from Gambling and small knowledge in investing the other is still in process of learning from me.

but i am not stopping here instead i will find ways and time to manage learning more, now i am looking for some Live seminars that may take place this 2020 since i am from Quezon city it is accessible for me going around places that will conduct a crypto seminars hoping to find one sooner because i want to be educate more in actual than reading and watching videos.

What i Have learnt from Crypto?

That there are some place in internet that can offers us profit without scamming, because in the past?i always think of negative when it comes to online matters because for me?everything is scammers not until i find bitcoin and also Altcoins, and most important thing is when i Got my First profit wayback when ICO is still legit and profiting,i invested in various Project that successfully done.but those days are gone and now i only relying in Bounty campaigns and some other buying of altcoin if i have Budget just to Hold longer.

Do not create stories for the sake of getting merits. Just because many are friendly and willing to help you rank up here ay aabusuhin na natin. I don't have a full load of merits to give kagaya ni OP kaya medyo mas mabusisi ako sa bibigyan.

I still have some few merits left. Thanks for those who share their learning experience. I am looking on how you post your experiences some getting higher merits on how you composed it. Everyone here can share their thoughts on other stuff too. If youre a low rank all you need to do is keep posting quality topics. Some members will correct you somewhere off the road but that's okay at least next time you know what your mistake and you remember to follow which is which.

I am seeing some new post that relates on how other's write. I appreciate if your gonna post more technical stuff or things you learn that others might interested to learn too. Good luck to everyone and I'm happy that some indeed rank up on this event. @samcrypto, @Maus0728, @maxriesh and @BodyKeeper. Keep it up guys.

Always deliver - Kapag nasa isang campaign ka you really have to deliver and do your best to qualify and syempre para matulungan yung project na ineendorse mo.

Hahah, More blessings sa ating lahat.

mine is not different from others because My Cousin once told me about this Bitcoin and Blockchain thing way back 2015 but i am not interested because i am too busy in my real job and just starting building my Family so i denied His encouragement and go on my life.

Then one time we have newly hired employee that becomes close to mine and he tells me again about this Bitcoin thing and i remember that once my cousin tells me.
but this time this new employee let me see His investment and also how much Bitcoin he owns in Local wallet(in which Coins.ph)from that point of course with His advice to create my own wallet and buy bitcoin little by little?now i am having good amount because i am one of the lucky people that taste the Product of holding and selling when the Bitcoin Hype happens in December 2017.

what change my life?because of my earning in 2017 we established a small business(foodcart specifically)that i let her managed, and now?2 years after?we already have 3 carts and continue looking for another location to extend our business.

In the End kailangan pa din ng tamang paraan pano natin i mamanage ang kinikita natin dito sa crypto dahil madami na ako nakilala na nung Hype akala nila hindi na matatapos ang pagtaas ng presyo kaya naging waldas sila kaya sa dulo?puro pagsisisi ang kanilang naranasan

Good day!

I've been on this forum for more than 3 years I guess but has been inactive due to the fact that this forum was bombarded with a lot of shitposts and repetitive topics back then. I've known this for years yet chose to post / reply only when I found something worth replying. Not to be boastful but I am proud that I post in quality and often read first most of replies before saying anything (to prevent further unnecessary repetition of answers).

Yet over the years I found not giving up posting in here. Dito nga ako natuto mag-english more fluently and it further enhanced my vocabulary and construction. To be honest dito ako natutong mag-ipon at mag invest. Back then sobrang gastador ko and even a single allowance sakin is gasta agad kasi ang mentality ko is "Enjoy you life to the fullest."

But still, one thing is for sure. My experience in here (from communicating to other perspectives of various people, onto different kinds of world of other people that a normal person didn't know exist) indeed shaped me for a better mindset that I haven't even imagine I could achieve today.

Thought this was just a normal forum at the start, but being here made me belong to the best online community.

I've been on this forum for almost 2 years. I started creating an account way back February 2018, my sole purpose that time is to join airdrops and bounties in this forum because most of my crypto friends said that I should have an account here to earn money. That time I really don't care about reading threads and joining in discussions, I just want to join bounties and airdrops. Then one day I started to explore this forum for the sake of finding another good ways to earn money since airdrops and bounties are not profitable any more, I am always in beginners & help section since I really don't know what I'm doing. I always ask questions there and waiting for some high rank members to respond. I don't even know that there is a local board for Philippines that could help me a lot better to express myself since I am not really good at English.

For 2 years of reading and participating In this forum this is what I have learned so far and hoping that I could still gain in-depth knowledge about cryptocurrency and blockchain.
* First of all it really enhance my English skills verbally and non-verbally which I can use on my day job and on this forum.
* I learned to apply on some crypto jobs like community manager and moderator which help me a lot on earning money when I don't have a job.
* It teaches me to always do your own research on a specific projects that you want to promote.
* I learned how to setup a masternode and how to generate income on some POS coins that gives passive income.
* I learned a lot on trading reading ximply's thread.
* Participating in this forum change my mindset on how a good lifestyle should be. It teaches me to become financially literate in some way. Instead of buying some unnecessary/luxury things I always save my hard-earned money and invest it on some certain coins.

And last but not the least, is to continue reading and learning in this forum as there is always room for new things. And hoping that someday I will become major player in this forum that everyone respects.

First of all Greetings sa lahat ng nag Post ng kanilang mga experience and i can tell they are very inspiring, kakaiba talaga ang dinulot ng Crypto sa Buhay ng bawat isa sa atin, merong mga nagtagumpay pero meron ding mga Nabigo.

My story starts Febuary of 2017 when a post about cryptocurrency(specifically bitcoin)crosses my Wall in Facebook and took my attention, the problem is i am not a tech person so i can't really understand so i did PM the one who made the post but i Got no response so even i am desperate yet wala ako nagawa, then until my brother came back from abroad and in my surprise?he introduce me to Cryptocurrency community in which this Bitcointalk.org forum.that is why i created my account months after and start reading here and also made my first investment in a small amount of 5,000 php at first because that is what i can afford to lose.and started joining Bounty when i reach "Jr Member" because that time joining campaign is not that hard even for Noob account, there are plenty of Signature campaign paying bitcoin and also ICO that is paying(not like npw that they are most scammers)and all of the earnings i get from the bounties is collected as Investment to bitcoin.
the Biggest mistake i made is when the hype of 2017 arrived?i did not sell all my Holdings instead i only convert 30% because i need support when i renovated my house, that is the biggest regret i have in my Crypto journey

though last september 2019 i made a good move selling them all and bough again in november, now i can see my investments are going good.

what Crytpo Thought  me is never become Greedy, don't expect that market will be in one direction ,Sell when you are in profit and buy when market falls again.simple logic but very hard to follow specially when Bullmarket are in place.

isang bagay nalang ang aking lubos na pinagsisikapan now,and that is mapataas pa ang aking kaalaman sa larangan ng crypto technology,at mapataas din ang antas ng aking pag English dahil sobrang Taas na ng standards now para makakuha ng Merits upang mag rank,i know medyo nahihirapan ako pero hindi ako sumusuko
