Title: exporting data from a cold storage wallet Post by: soy on March 19, 2014, 05:11:06 PM Not actually in cold storage, I backed up an encrypted wallet before moving to a larger hard drive. The blockchain went south in the move so for the time being that bitcoin-qt isn't accessible. Is there a way to extract the transaction data from the encrypted wallet backup aside from dropping it onto the blockchain.info wallet retrieval mechanism?
