Title: Casascius Bitcoin 2011 (1BTC loaded) Auction
Post by: ageofdoge on February 15, 2020, 07:35:52 PM
Taking bids in BTC.

Will ship upon receiving bid payment + actual shipping costs.  I will ship and insure by whatever method you are comfortable with.  The transaction can be done in person if you're willing to come to travel to Fargo ND.  Depending on your bid and location I may be willing to deliver it myself or perhaps meet somewhere in between.  I do have more of these.  I'm not sure how many I will sell, but if you have the winning bid and want to buy more than one that may be doable.

Update: Bidding closes at 05:41:24 PM (US Central Time) Wednesday Feb 26th.

escrow/courier/reshipping services are possible.  I'm not currently familiar with any though.  Are there some generally trusted services that get used here?

Thanks for the better image.  I wasn't really sure how to do that.

Generally speaking, minerjones (aka MJ) is the most used escrow as you can see from his trust review. There are others that are highly trusted but none more so than MJ.  :)

I just wanted to chime in real quick. I recently used minerjones' courier service and would highly recommend it for anyone who is selling/buying high priced coins.  ;)For me, it was all about peace of mind. Its just not worth taking the risk of having the package lost, delayed, seized etc in the mail imo.
 Gl with your sale  :)

Thanks for the input everyone.  I did message minerjones and it seems like a reasonable solution.

They haven't been on the forum in over 3 days..... and I'm not really sure this can be an auction considering there are several key facts missing, like the end date and time, etc.  I'm guessing they may end it when they have the bits they want.  I researched this users coins for a non forum buyer so I can confirm they are a legit seller.  However, negotiations between them and my buyer ended with no sale.

Yeah, in retrospect I should have put an ending date on this.  I kind of thought there would be a bit more interest.  I have been really sick this week. I'll probably accept the highest bit that is here once I am well enough to feel like dealing with people.

That entire collection you have wouldn't even come close to buying this coin unfortunately.

The OP did not say they were paying for courier service.... and it's not cheap.

All bidders should make their intentions known as the OP half-assed this listing and the last thing we need is another shitshow that could have been avoided.

It's bid +"actual shipping costs".  Be that UPS, courier, me flying it directly to you, or whatever method you choose.  I didn't include shipping because I assumed different people would have different standards for what they consider reliable transport.

Thank you for clarifying before the auction ends.... especially with a bunch of newbie bids.  I would verify bids with your bidders as well.  Good luck.

I'm new here, but minerjones seems reliable so I'd want it send to him and when he confirms I'll send my funds..
Fine with shipping and ins. Being extra
