Title: Guys, be aware of a new scam! Stay safe with your funds!
Post by: hirngespenst on February 24, 2020, 06:53:25 AM
As the crypto community become smart, scammers are not just sitting there. They are making new plans to scam people. Recently a smart scam idea they whelp and that is youtube live streaming! Lots of people are falling those scams even one of my crypto mentors shared that link to participate!

Scammers are hacking youtube channels which have at least 10K subscribers to 80K! Then they collect some famous crypto meetup or interview videos! Later they make live streaming with that downloaded video, and announce a giveaway of 100K BTC or 100K ETH, BCH, XRP and so on! Can you imagine how smart this shit idea is? However, at the corner or left side of that live streaming they add a live transaction banner where you can see that if you send 1 Ethereum, you will get 5 or 10 Ethereum instantly!

If you ever fall in that trap means you are done, you fall in the scam and lost your money forever! Guys, be aware, always check a coin's official twitter handle to verify every giveaway! Don't fall in the scam, let scammers cry and die!

The one question I ask myself right now is, if I have up to 1 BTC will I ever send it out to get it doubled? I never worked for it, this is not trading, it will be first thing that will come to my mind, greediness in people is what makes them fall for all this crap schemes

Our security and knowledge about different scams is increasing but we are not aware that the scammers too are developing and thinking a new way/s in order to scam just like this kind of recent scams that's happening that's why even though we knew a famous youtuber or other social media celebrity we should take care since they are also immune to hacking and might use their account in order to deceive others.

Yes, in all things we are not required to be greedy, because greediness will result in loss for oneself, both in trade and in other cases, because when someone is greedy will be a good bait for scammers.

And when there are many people who want to try their luck in the hope of making fast money, that's where sometimes scammers can freely move in recruiting new victims and this is very common at this time, so we all need to be more careful in seeing and responding to each the offer exhibited by these scammers.

You are right, scams succeed only because they look like genuine. Scammers are becoming smarter taking advantage of new technologies they will convince you to give your assets, always consider these people as scammers if dealing with unknown people's. Don't rush to make money in crypto be alert to the fact that scam still exist in the world.

That's the wrong path some people choose! There is no quick money, sometimes you can earn it but next time you will lose more than your earnings! Any random people who have enough idea to sort out things and verify the reality they won't fall in these scams. To be honest, I have been getting this type of scam offer since 2017, never fall for that trap! So, we should spread awareness to protect the newbie and greedy people from these scams!

There will be no time without scammers! And no scammer is good, everyone is the worst and they deserve hell. They hack youtube channel, they hack exchange money, all the bad staffs they do only to steal people's hard-earned money! This type of scam/hack we should protect by ignoring all the unknown people, their links, and make a decision everyone should verify by following the project's twitter, blog, forums!

I don't think they would want to send their assets in large numbers to participate in a fraud campaign like that, but what I highlighted is that fraudsters have now done something crazy, even they are targeting a YouTube account that has nothing to do with cryptocurrency. Now there are many big youtube account hacked, all must be aware of that

Yes, this is another scam that's becoming popular now. They caught a lot of victims that sent Ethereum to their addresses and sadly, those victims has no means to retrieve their funds anymore. IIRC, this has been posted already somewhere in beginners and it's a continuous flow for the scammers until they had enough from the victims. What everyone can do is when you see a livestream like that on YouTube, just report it quickly to YT themselves.

From my own perspective this is what greed causes. Like how can you have 1 ETH and another is promising you 10Eth for free without you working for it? Even the rich guys don't go about wasting their wealth. Lack of contentment leads to greed and greed leads to being scammed. Instead of sending that Eth without being sure you will get a return (of which you wil not) why not taking it to the exchange and buying a coin which might give you a good return sooner or later on. Let's be careful of what we see and hear because scammers are getting smart everyday.

Fraudsters are using different approaches to deceive people, the problem is few people don't analyze the possible result of their choices so they end up being victimized. They don't even bother doing research to ensure that it is legit and profitable that is the reason why they fall into the tricks of scammers. They just let their greediness affects their way of thinking, let's just hope that people particularly newbies will be cautious that it was a strategy by the scammers that can be used against them.

This is the new scam procedure nowadays, many people already fall for it. The way these scammers do this, people can easily fall into this trap. Recently Binance CEO talked about this scam nature in a medium post. Everyone should do the same to create awareness about this scam. I saw BCH and Ripple scam streaming recently, even their youtube channel logo looks very genuine!

Scammers are getting good everyday. They will try and try as there are so many gullible people that will fall into this trap because of greed and ignorance. Simple search will give you warning signals already, so those who will send money to these scammers didn't do any basic search and I'd say, it is their fault. Just take a quick look at these articles to give you idea how they are doing this.

old players or seniors in the crypto world should know that sending one etherum or bitcoin and making hundreds or even thousands is definitely a scam. and if there is a link like we should not fall into that trick. precisely in my opinion the most dangerous is a malware virus that directly attacks our devices and steals our keystore and personal data.

I remember something similar than this but lesser amount of eth to be sent. The time that airdrops were hot and the devs needs you to send some eth, it isn't different and just the revision where in this it is live. How many people did they fool? Some let's just be vigilant and stay away from that shady activities anyway.

I also heard about Scammer's news by streaming on YouTube using someone else's Youtube Channel that has been taken over.
The hacked channel is not a channel with a small subscriber, the hacked subscriber has around hundreds of thousands of violators.
Even youtube channels TV private in Indonesia are also victims of hackers.
The hacker shows Live Streaming CEO Binance shows as if doing an original giveaway by sending some Bitcoin and ethereum and will get double the balance sent.
The scammer managed to trick the victim who was not thorough and believed in the live streaming.

So, they managed to have another idea by hacking a youtube channel to gather more victims.
This is something that we should be aware of, they may be doing the same trick as they are promising to double the funds to be sent to them but the thing that we must be alert is that, they have a way to get a youtube channel that has a lot of subscribers. That way, they can make their offer a legitimate action.

This is not a new form of scam, I've seen it since 2018 and it has been working for a long time. This is a clever scam that comes from hackers and it has made many people trapped, I personally have been tricked with it but fortunately that is not too much money.

Definitely right. Even though there are a lot of warnings for fraud in this forum, still there are people who are victims of such scam. That is one of the reasons why the scammers are still here because they can still get people in their hook. My advise if you are newbie in this line, watch and learn first all about scam and fraud before investing.

Of course as we make way to improve the security, hackers are also finding their ways to still hack accounts. Ways of hacking are also improving. So we must be always prepared. In PH there is an awareness campaign for the internet "Think before you click". There are so many fake news, fake sites so be responsible for every click especially for us since we are dealing a money in here. Imagine all the things you've earned and saved will just fall into somebody's hand. It badly hurts.

I guess considering even the famous twitter ETH one got like hundreds of thousands of dollars in total (not all at once but combined total) I am not shocked that people are still trying to find a different way to scam people since there are so many gullible people on earth.

Think about it, there were people who opened names resembling Elon Musk and then they asked people ethereum in return of giving more ethereum and some people fell for it, that is as idiotic as I can think of, it requires almost no work, just write under Elon's every tweet and then people will give you money. If there are people who are stupid enough to fall for that type of scam, I can only imagine how much people could make from bigger scams that look a lot more legit and professional.

All scammers operates the same way, they setup traps and add baits, the traps only catches the greedy ones, if it sounds too good to be true then it is.
Thanks for informing us.

So sorry to these Youtube channels that were hacked, it's not easy to grow your Youtube channel with those huge subscribers, it's a new scam method employed by scammers because they cannot scam people from ICO anymore, so they have turned to Youtube give away.

from what already stated above by OP and it seems like this the scamm tries a new trick and that's something new because scammer is also spending his money to buy the subscriber and then tried to collect the money by using the popularity on his channel. The fact that so many scammers can run away with the investor's money.
We must become even smarter from day to the day.

You dont ever have to check someone's twitter or anything. Big they ask you to send money to get money it's a scam...ALWAYS.  If something sounds to good to be true than it usually is.  Please dont ever send money randomly to "verify" yourself, otherwise you kinda deserve to lose it.  :-\

The fraud is very professional but I think our logic should also work, how is it possible to just send 1 Eth to get 5-10 Eth is not logical. But it has to be more careful, especially in the crypto world with almost no guarantees, only capital to believe.

Well its an obvious scam and only greedy people will bite this offer.

But if you're in crypto world for long period already, you'll know that this kind of move is not reliable to double or triple your money.

I feel sad when a YouTuber knows that his YouTube account has been hacked by a scammer, I once found a channel with subscriber 300k streaming giveaway and after seeing the views wow I was surprised to see many people watching. Even after that youtube account is difficult to recover.
And for the crypto community, don't believe in CZ giveaway or anything that's not from official account because most scammers do giveaway using the name CZ.

Absolutely! It is very hard to realize this is fake and scam, as I mentioned many expert people even fall for this scam! In those youtube streaming videos, I saw almost 3-5K people were watching live! The XRP/ETH CEO is talking about Ethereum, Ripple and beside the video, the giveaway banner is moving continuously, so, it is not easy to get this is a scam!

But becauase the channel has a lot of  followers they will think this is legitimate and that's the problem even its too good to be true there still people greedy to try it and they will only realise that its scam once the eth send to the provided address.

Although if the channel has a lot of followers, it doesn't mean they are legitimate and look legit because we know that the followers can be bought from the other services. We need to search for the other news about that so we can know if they are telling the truth or not, and we can follow the step to make money.

We need to be careful if we want to follow the giveaways because not all giveaways are true. There is no easy money that we can earn from doing an easy way. All the things we do will need time to earn some money, and we need hard work to earn that money.

In the beginning, every admin seems to be very active until they raise money. Till now, we have seen many companies done the same thing and once after raising money, they will stop communication with their customers, that's how the telegram will end. That's why we should be very careful with the telegram groups.

You are right, CZ is very common name for the scammers, most of the time scammers act like CZ, They use CZ's name and tweets! Though nowadays Vitalik, Roger is being used by them! Actually, This is not one or two people behind this scam method, a large number of people are working together in these scams!

I hope people will research more before sending a single penny! Everyone must verify any kind of the giveaway from the official account of those projects'! I was shocked by seeing that lots of greedy people fall in this scam, how can they believe in 2020 that for 1 ETH someone will give them 5 ETH!

Yes, the idea of the fraudsters is clearly very clever because they are always looking for new prey to be victims, and for bounty hunters I think they work according to the rules set out in the bounty program they follow, and that is clearly very logical.

The one question I ask myself right now is, if I have up to 1 BTC will I ever send it out to get it doubled? I never worked for it, this is not trading, it will be first thing that will come to my mind, greediness in people is what makes them fall for all this crap schemes

Correct, many have been found victim of this trend and its caused by greediness which us a human nature.  Whenever I see many of such promise, I tell myself that,  how do they relate this with their own mindset, that, you send 1bitcoin and get 2bitcoin: you don't trade with this money to say profit is involve, so, those greedy humans can always fall for this type of scams around this industry. I say never you send anything to get double of what you set: its arrant scams and should be avoided.

This is certainly very difficult to get rid of, because greed arises from the desire of someone who wants to get rich quick in the near future, so that someone can do anything and trust in anyone who offers benefits doubled with the amount of capital they have.

But we should also know that, account hacks are rapid these days and should be more careful than ever. One time in the history of humans race, one most popular YouTube account was hacked and many gullible were scammed, this I will always remember. We should always lean to research into offers before we venture into it.

After all the hacks it will still come down to asking you to send an amount of Bitcoin to double or triple your Bitcoin, this is not a new trick at all, in the past many got scammed using this trick in early 2017, I never let my greed to consume me till today, greedy people get eaten my greed all the time

This isnt new for me. Anything too good to be true rewards is obviously a scam. Tempting even you can see the transaction but that isnt a solid groujd for investment wise. As an investor and trader, we should be cautious to activity we are doing. I dont know why some believe this 500% gain. Even on bank and business this isnt possible.

The fraud is very professional but I think our logic should also work, how is it possible to just send 1 Eth to get 5-10 Eth is not logical. But it has to be more careful, especially in the crypto world with almost no guarantees, only capital to believe.
Professional indeed but acting isnt gonna save them. Yes they can put some cash first on the first one but no, this is possibly their controlled addresses and fooling those who check the tx in eth scan. Be warn with this.

Hardly will you see anybody that really works hard to get 1 BTC and will want to get it doubled without working for it. Most people that fall for all this cheap scam are the one that might have luckily fortuned from such gambling before so it will be a normal game for them but by the time they lose their money, their eyes will be widely opened and that is when they will realize they have been making a big mistake. Anyway, BTT has become a home whereby every phase of scamming methods is documented and this will really help people from scammers.

Just like you said, they know the value of ETH and thus display to all those who cares to listen what is in for them, but those people who always fall for such fails to ask themselves questions such as, how can a project afford to spend such amount of ETH when there is no promotion or marketing going on, just send 1 and get 5 ETH just like that. Let's be careful of what we crave for and the information we listen to as most are a medium to get to us.

Lchino, I hear for the first time about this type of fraud, perhaps because I personally do not go to such meetings. But if this is true, then the scammers are really getting smarter before our eyes and come up with new schemes. I know for sure that now you need to protect yourself and your social networks from hacking, for this you need to set strong passwords and put protection in the form of SMS alerts or 2fa. Unfortunately, I personally know people who will not miss the temptation to go to such a meeting and try their luck and they will fall into the hands of scammers. All this is sad, but do not despair and you need to know more about scammers and their schemes and inform the community.

But also I see a post from Exodus wallet Fb page that they see youtube channel get hacked and pretending to be exodus wallet...

I follow a video editing channel on YouTube from a guy called Jack Cole. Recently his channel completely changed. The image and name were set to Exodus Wallet and they delisted all of his videos. He has more than 200k subscribers and now they are live streaming some fake promotional Exodus stuff where you click a link and go to a fake Exodus page where you are prompted to input your seeds.

Please help take this down immediately as some beginners might lose their money falling for the scam.

Here's the video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKcDKZHZP10

Here's the scam page: [DO NOT ENTER YOUR INFO HERE]  https://exodus.promo/

Here's a legit video from the original channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbnh8-T2wn4

If you Google "Jack Cole Video Editing YouTube" you will find the name of the channel is still Jack Cole but when you click it you see it's been hacked.

I highly suspect that this is why Youtube has a case with cryptocurrency and crypto related channels in the past where they deleted all of its content regarding cryptocurrency. Although the scam scheme is true, Youtube considered it and put it back. Seems like the scammers are getting hard time to catch ignorants and keep upgrading their scheme but if you are not new with this industry, you will notice it easily with the "Send first" procedure lol. There are really gullible people especially when they are trusting the website ( Youtube, Facebook etc.)

We need to be careful if we want to follow the giveaways because not all giveaways are true. There is no easy money that we can earn from doing an easy way. All the things we do will need time to earn some money, and we need hard work to earn that money.
Giveaways are true I can assure you that but it does not comes with huge amount since they are not giving it on a single person. Giveaways that are too good to be true is the scam one, it tends to look catchy and interesting at first but when you go deeper to it you'll see how shit it is.

I do agree, being greedy is the root of all this scam. People should know that this kind of offer is too good to be true. It is far from reality that they should immediately realize that this is just a trick to get their money.
Staying our distance from this kind of offer is the best action we can do, entertaining this kind of investment scheme is just a waste of time.

What are they thinking? If you think of it, It would definitely a scam, sending 1 ETH and you get 5 ETH in return. That is an old form of scam, they just made it more realistic with their live streaming and adding live transactions ( most likely and edited video and put it into live stream). Scammers really never run out of ideas how to get money from someone's pocket, hopefully this could be a lesson for everyone. Should always remember that there is no easy money you have to work for it to earn it.

I guess this is not a new type of scam as I have seen this type of attempts within my telegram group. Never ever believe into anyone who asks for money for sending you back multiple fold of what you will send. That is the logic behind this? Money will grow on tree for them to get us multi fold returns?

We have seen a long discussion of such incident of one forum member who lost his ETHs by believing into some scammer's youtube videos. When we make use of our common sense, I guess we can easily avoid this kind of scammers. When more people are not falling into such traps then those scammers may stop doing this.

Most victims of scam are those who are greedy, thinking they could make easy money and end up getting scammed. Take note that nothing comes easy especially in terms of money. As such this is not a new con method. The YouTube part may be new... but this type of scam has existed from time immemorial (even before the invention of the first ever cryptocurrency). Intelligent users know that there is no such thing as a free lunch... however the less intelligent (and greedy) ones may lose their hard earned money to such scams.

Someone coming across this type of activity and still goes ahead to send his hard earned ETH needs serious educating on the blockchain space, it protrarys scam by mare looking at it and it is not only on YouTube but on Twitter as well. Am just wondering that a project looking for ways to improve on their platform to make it more valuable will be generous enough to send 5-10 ETH just like that, if they want promotion they can launch a bounty or airdrop with Information clearly stated on their social media accounts. Let's be careful and try as much as possible to be okay with what we have, because greediness is also one of the things which causes people to fall for this type of scam.

Thanks for bringing this to people's attention so others don't get scammed.

But this is not Exodus doing the scamming. There are scammers that are hacking YouTube channels and then using livestreams from popular crypto companies to scam people. It's happening to other companies within the space as well like Atomic wallet and Ledger.

Like you said - people will not trust this kind of wallet if they are promoting it from a hacked account.
So what would Exodus gain by doing this? Nothing - it would create a bad appearance and ruin their business. To think that a company like Exodus would destroy their business in order to scam a few measly BTC is ridiculous.

This scam pattern is an old school way of scamming people, whoever falls for this is greedy and not wise. One of my student wanted to give it a trial, I cautioned, can't tell if he would later go ahead.

They know for sure that if they leave that comment section open, a lot of people will expose their stupid tricks and that’s why they disable. I have mentioned this a few times here in this forum, and I’m happy you created this topic just for it so that a lot of people would know.

Sometimes even we cannot imagine people fall with that trap then you will get information that someone was scammed. I don't know if they are new, dumb or just greedy.  By the way, still thanks for warning our colleagues about this. Atleast, if they are half hearted and they will remember your warning then will will not get trapped.

If they have the system like that that doubles or triples the money, why would they share it? Their motivation comes from money and they will do their best to get something from you.

There is no instant way to get money, if we are careful and wiser surely it will not happen to us because if you think about it, it is also strange when we give 3 ETH but they give back 5 ETH without doing anything. People should have realized that this is a scam.

I dont believe on any giveaway in the first place unless if it do talks about $1 or similar to that but for thousands or eve hundreds of dollars? Its already an impossible stuff.. if we do talk about 10-80k subs on youtube
which wont be sufficient if we do talk about profitability or in exchange of that giveaway and with that alone you can already point out that this is indeed a scamming attempt but sadly there
were fools who do easily believe on easy money thats why they do end up on losing money and feeding up these scammers.

I suppose if you believe in it and make a transaction. I think it is a very fatal mistake. I personally almost hit a scam when I first came to know Crypto trading. Many people utilize crypto and create YouTube channels to make money by committing fraud.

Better if you want to make a profit is to continue learning and patience in trading crypto coins.

Lol, how stupid would that be to send money to some random address and expect more money in return and that too instantly.
Only a fool or a stupid person would ever fall for this. I am sure every smart crypto guy would know the rule
" If anything is too good to believe  then it is a scam " .

Be warn with this.

maybe newbies who have just joined the crypto world are good prey for them because new players are more vulnerable especially if the orientation wants to profit quickly, offers like this are very tempting

Yes i do believe if he was a newcomer. it looks like he didn't try to reach someone to discuss that. Scammers have been trying various ways to scam people. Spam email looks not effective again for those scammers and they were trying to use a new way. An awareness thread that contains all of the ways used by scammer to scam people is really needed.

why they only hack smaller youtube account , if they are hackers then should go hacking big fishes because hacking is already risky  . big or small once you get the fine will still be heavy  .

on lower youtube accounts , the viewers were only small so they cant hardly make their scamming  plans come true but if they try it on a bigger audience , there is also a big chance that they can succeed . however their scamming attempts are pretty obvious.

I did not know this scamming idea at all. I usually do not invest in a project by listening to anyone. I check everything before myself and then make a decision. I was also fell in a scam project and lost my money. Usually, scammers offer quick and substantial profits to investors and know how to be insistent and you can identify them just this point. Money cannot be earned so easily.

To be honest, the scammer strategy explained by the OP was actually the same old scam idea but done with live streaming video in other to gain people's trust and i don't know why any crypto investor should believe in ROI investment despite all the previous scam accusations that they always turn out as an exit scam.
Meanwhile, i believe is time for people to understand that when halving is coming crypto scamming is always simultaneously.

Scammers are always creating varieties of new scam technique but the last time i checked their techniques only scam people who are greed, inpatient and crypto newbie investors because if something is too good to be true then is total a scam. However, there's nothing new these days and what they do is rebuild/improve old strategies.

But these youtube channels may not contain any other videos because it either hacked or bought so one who thinks it is legit need to check their dashboard and if they don't have any other videos other than this live stream then it's pretty much scam give away.

And never think about crypto doubler giveaways its the dumbest scam method but still people falling for it.

That is maybe the reason why they are being scammed, there are newbies as of now that are being greedy that they should be earning when they first get involved with crypto without knowing that there are lots of scammers out there. This is a nice guide to every newbie that you should be well informed first before taking any steps here, make decisions when you already know what's gonna happen. Learn from what you have experienced. Do not be greedy and have patience because everything will be good if we wait for something that we want.
We need to be smarter too because hacker and scammers do anything to get our funds, everymonth those two kinds of people create new way to scam a people here in the crypto world. It should be of greater concern to anyone who wants to participate in airdrop programs or other campaigns that offer greater payments, always check their allocations because scammers have many ways to make any data look perfect upfront, therefore deeper research is something that must do if you expect something good with your funds.
Airdrop is really good but you should study about that particular project, you can clearly notice when you check their whitepaper wherein almost all of the information about the project is stated there, what is their plan and what is the purpose of their project, also the platform is important, you can also check the roadmap of what are they going to do for the upcoming months or years.

Look at how beneficial cryptocurrency is so that hackers work hard to hack YouTube accounts that have many subscribers. As a smart internet user, the subscriber of the channel should be able to realize that it's a fraud because the uploaded content is different from the previous content, it should be an oddity. And the mentality to get rich instantly is also to be avoided, no matter how easy it is to get money from the internet it requires knowledge and strategies, not by giving your funds to other people you don't know, especially through the internet. It is fatal.

Agree, it's better to do research in advance if we lose the coins we have. Giveaway reaches hundreds of bitcoin or ethereum I think it doesn't make sense because the amount is too big. I think we also need to be rational in this matter and no one wants a giveaway of hundreds of bitcoin

This ain't smart, I mean, seriously? who would believe in such thing like someone is giving 100K BTC, ETH or whatever cryptocurrency that is, that is way too good to be true. The thing is, there is a lot of stupid and greedy people that always taking this bait and cry or complaint about their own stupidity and blame the scammers. The classic scheme. Scammers hack or buy accounts in social networks with a large number of subscribers or verification.
It's funny that sensible people will turn off their brains when they see that a popular account offers them a dubious deal.

Well, that was really alarming if that is the case we currently have right now because imagine one of the biggest social media platform which is YouTube wherein most of the advertisement about cryptocurrency project is being held and promoted was also been carried out by the hackers out there to brought up larger audience for more people to get scammed. Based on what you have mentioned even such thing is happening right now, if you are already stayed that long in crypto industry, you will not fall for such schemes of giving out such a massive amount of Bitcoin or Ethereum in exchange for giving out a single one and making it into double because that was just impossible to happen due to the reason that how can they make it possible doubling your Bitcoin or Ethereum? Where will they get such funds and be giving it out to a large audience? Well, we cannot blame people that still believes into that because hackers are really targeting into our temptation to easily get caught into such promises that can never be granted. If the hackers are getting smarter, then we must be getting wiser and getting more careful to get rid of those scams.

I am pretty agree with you, the scammers are getting smarter due to some tricks have become known in public and now they are trying to hack or scam people through some different ways, that's why we need to be careful always, just do not share your wallet key to anyone and stay away from getting free tokens ..ect. Plus, we can reduce the scammers rate when we report them in this forum and other ways.

I have watched some local videos from hacked users about this one and from what I noticed they are targeting "rising"/"decent" Youtube channels who are the most vulnerable since they are the ones looking for some sponsors, quick cash, and other promotional stuff that can help their channel grow. Based from their experiences what I can quickly summarize up is this.

1. They'll be targeting decent Youtube channels the ones who at least have 100k subscribers.
2. After that they'll try to contact that channel and invite him/her into some kind of paid activity.
3. The Youtuber will then be required to download some thing in order for that "promotion" to work.
4. His/her computer will be hacked.
5. The channel will then be in a state of transformation where they will delete all the hacked channel's videos, change the name, change the logo.
6. Then they'll be starting to do a streaming video of a fake giveaway.

If am to come across such I think the first thing I will do is to ask myself why a project will resort to this type of giveaway, where I send 1 ETH and they send 5 or 10 ETH to me, through asking myself this question I will be forced to check their telegram group for a good answer and since the YouTube account was hacked or maybe do not belong to them I will then find out the truth. And the truth is, no good project will be so daft as to resort to this type of giveaway; if a project want to do giveaway, it either comes through quiz, AMA questions, trading competitions and so on. So let us be very careful of the things that attracts us into parting or giving away our funds.
