Title: Trust wallet rocks
Post by: Greatchu on February 25, 2020, 09:55:01 AM
I used to be so obsessed with coinomi wallet because it support many altcoins, maybe because I find it more better than myether and copay and later I decide to try trust wallet, I was surprised that right after importing my private key all my altcoins are ready for me including every single ERC20 tokens I own, Trust wallet get rid of adding tokens manually and in fact it shows every price of the tokens that are listed and trading, now I can't stop loving the wallet, way better than coinomi now

As far as I'm concerned, Trust wallet is the best mobile phone wallet as it supports cryptocurrency from different blockchain. Trust wallet makes storing cryptocurrency very easy and it's very secured. It uses automatic 2 step verification for users and posses several other unique features.

True, it's very convenient to use trust wallet, it's a good choice for newbies who knew nothing about crypto and want to try it out for the first time, also tokens are automatically added up once the importing is over, sleeky and easy interface

Trust wallet is one of the ideal solution right now for mobile and desktop devices. They are also actively working with many blockchains to work with their dapps. But as it's a new platform, there are several things to be fixed. Some of the wallet address are show incompatible with other popular wallets. They also need to have several options for wallet address as Legacy, Segwit and Segwit native addresses are not always equally supported.

About Bitcoin segwit and legacy address you did have a point, this is not available in trust wallet but I've used every single address to make transfers from exchanges and it always works, never for once lost my Bitcoin so it doesn't matter, as far as users get their Bitcoin I don't think they would care about non segwit and segwit address

I still haven't used Trustwallet until up this moment. But with the huge number of people that's telling it here that they do trust it and it's very convenient to use.

I'll start considering of using this wallet because of you have compared it to coinomi which one of the known multicurrency wallet.

Trust Wallet is an effective wallet storage and I have been using this wallet for a long time. There is no price issue that always arises if the token is already on the stock exchange so this is what I really like so Trust Wallet is only for ERC20, but I also use Coinomi because I am able to store all altcoins So these two applications are good for your assets and this has not become problem since you first used it.

That is true, I use coinomi too to store my altcoins. Because it is really easy to use, I only need to download coinomi on google play and install it and keep all my private key secretly in order to avoid some bad thing come. Other than I use I'm Token to store my ERC20, seem like it very easy to use rather you choose myetherwallet. Because currently, you need some effort if you use myethereallet comparing to I'm token you just need to download it and install it on your phone and you can check your token simply.

There is no doubt that mostly crypto community prefers trust wallet these days because it is very easy to use a newbie won't face any kind of problem with it and security features are absolutely magnificent which is an important part of any kind of cryptocurrency wallet as well. But there is something missing in trust wallet, eos wallet is not available there hopefully the developers will add eos wallet option in near future then it will be a complete multi cryptocurrency wallet for sure.

Will probably check it out later.
Though i am not sure it's a good idea to store too much on such wallet, assuming it's not decentralized wallet and not used on a safe mobile device. It's probably better to use the wallet for storing coins(few coins especially) you want to spend short term

I don't use Trust wallet but I know it is open source unlike Coinomi. That's probably an added advantage over other mobile wallets.

When it comes to wallet, it's either custodial or non-custodial (both Trust wallet and Coinomi are non-custodial). I do agree that it's not ideal to store crypto in mobile wallets for long term.

Totally agree with you, Trust wallet is very good and convenient. I have used it for almost 2 years now and it has brought me great experiences. Easy wallet access and easy storage of different altcoin types. Surely this is one of the best wallets in this market

Yes trust wallet is a very trusted wallet and also it's from binance exchange team themselves, it offers some features that are not available on coinomi wallet like Dapps and staking abilities

Hey OP, could you get me link for trust wallet?

I just checked my usual reference link of bitcoin.org (https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet) but unable to find anything in the name of trust wallet. Is this only for ERC tokens or including other coins and tokens as well?

Some times back I was looking for TRON wallet to save my tron and at the same time it should be eligible for BTT air drop. Trust wallet is supporting TRX coins? If support TRX, my holding on trust wallet will be eligible for BTT air drop? Please guide me on my doubts whenever your time permits. Thanks.

It's a multi wallet, it supports all top altcoins including Bitcoin and Tron too, you should try figuring that out by going to play store and type trust wallet, icon is in white with a blue badge like icon

Trust wallet is indeed a good wallet from binance and I'm aware of the inbuilt staking feature for EOS, Tezos and others

I'm using many wallets that supported Eth tokens, Eos tokens, Tron, etc. and Trust wallet is one of them, I like those multifunctional wallets with built-in Decentralized exchange but my requirements was it should be very lite to use, the list of wallet that I was commonly using was Trust, Imtoken, Coinomi, and Ethos wallets respectively so far I'm satisfied with all of them.

Myether wallet isnt bad and it's one of the best Ethereum wallet out there, the facts why trust wallet stands out among others like myether is because of its multifunction features, binance Dex, Tron, EOS are all supported, you can even stake coins on this trust wallet and you can't do these on myether

I didn't know that it's also from the Binance team who made them so basically it's a very reliable one if the developers came from that company.

As the reviews by others here are good enough to try it.

Before I was hesitant to try it but now, there's no reason anymore not to try it.

I use Trust too. The wallet is cool until I resorted to AtomicWallet. I think AtomicWallet gives you that risk-free wallet that you need. I have more than 100 tokens and over 20 chains which AtomicWallet all support. With the wallet user don't get to add tokens manually.

Let me burst your bubbles.. For stakers, you can also stake your favorite coins right in the wallet with just one click. I currently stake my Tezos, Algo, Vet etc in AtomicWallet without stress.

Not just that, I don't need to go Binance again to sell or buy my coins. With AtomicWallet it's simple.

Trust wallet has inbuilt instaswap as well without leaving the wallet to trade on exchanges and it always support staking of Tezos and algo and others, it's left for users to choose what they like, last time I used Atomic wallet it's so buggy, more than even coinomi wallet

It is undeniable that the Trust wallet is one of the best solutions for me in terms of token storage. besides its security, the Trust wallet is also simpler in terms of its use, because it is available in the form of applications, and actually makes it more accessible to the wider community. And I've been using it for the past few months and haven't found any obstacles at all.

Coinomi is much more older and you must given the atrributes to this. Where do you think trust wallet idea comes from? Yes trust wallet and other wallets are improved version of coinomi but give them the credits of starting a good wallet for coins. Since binance acquires trust wallet, it shows how they wanted to make the app more progressive and develop it so users can increase in due time. But be careful still, since this is a third wallet app and can still be prone to breach and compromise.

Trust wallet has been my favourite multi currency wallet and it works perfectly for me. I have never used Coinomi wallet before, but a few of my homies makes use of it and according to them is also good. I started making use of Trust wallet for quite sometime, it started when I was in need of a wallet that would accept ERC20 tokens. I came across Trust wallet and read some reviews on their page on playstore.

When I installed it, it was perfect so since then I have been making use of it. Seems the wallet is owned by Binance or something, or maybe they are kind of affiliated with them.

I have heard a lot of great reviews about trust wallet especially when it comes to new tokens that are automatically picked by trust wallet, a feature that was not available in MEW and we had to manually add each new token, i am sure with new features and staking activation for major alts like eth, ada, icx etc trust wallet will really take the major market share.

This new promotion provides a nice opportunity for every trader to earn promising profit that's coming from different coins. Trust wallet is very secure when it comes to storing capability, and their support strongly creates a huge impact to each users who've been using their service. Personally I am not yet using staking, hopefully if my funds will be stored in their wallet; a good start must be initiated.

I agree the latest features of a Trust wallet are necessary for completing the transaction in Bitpay invoices. The DAPP browser lets us spend BTC and ETH for paying the Bitpay invoice which is widely used for top-up Skrill wallet.  Sometimes, I prefer to top up my Skrill account with BTC but Skrill takes the money from Bitpay. For filling the gap, the Trust wallet works better than its own application of Bitpay.

As long as ERC2C0 and some other contract addresses are concerned, trust wallet is the best in terms of mobile wallets for download. One can even use the trust to interact with DAPP without importing one's private keys.  Although my current Iphone5 is not compatible with trust, I am managing Imtoken for now, trust is way better than Imtoken.

Therefore  Coinomi, Imtoken is not the up to the date for me, so, I migrated into the Trust wallet and from then now, this is my most favourite crypto wallet. Though I am using the Ledger hardware wallet but whenever I need a phone wallet, I go for Trust Wallet.

Yeah, I also do not understand why we have to import manually all tokens into our wallet when we use MetaMask or MyEtherWallet, when other wallets support it automatically.
Maybe to prevent spam coins? Coins that are sent to all Ethereum users only to spread a word about it - a form of advertisement?

That idea will laziest but the average crypto HODLer needs to pass through these steps for adding ERC-20 tokens. The JAX, IMO, and Trust wallets are good to go unless these wallets don't support the token which we want to add the portfolio. I am sure everyone has seen the promotional tips of Kick token, the 888k KickTOekn frozen airdrop for active top ETH wallets is a good example.

I think that is the reason, if you don't want to see any coins other than those that are valuable then you have just to put them one by one manually. There are still ways to see those coins/tokens you have by going to ethplorer or etherscan. But with how Trust Wallet managed to come up with this kind of idea brings more ease ot its users.

I'm looking this wallet right now, and I liked it, now I know that is Binance´s multi wallet

Guys, what's the cons of this wallet? If someone hacks this wallet, is it possible to stole our coins?

I'm used to local wallets, never used a multi wallet this way

Binance exchange got several hack attacks, but the Trust wallet is very secure and it has zero hack or suspicious issues. But as you are using a local wallet, I would prefer you to continue with that. Because local or hardware wallets are far better than online wallets!

Ok, thanks, I'm thinking about just use this wallet for some altcoins that is hard to manage, everytime have to update all wallets and it's a lot os space in disk
I'll leave my biggest portion of BTC in local wallet but I'll try Trust Wallet anyway, it's good to have some coins in only one place, and I will read more about how to keep this kind of wallet safe

I also use Trust Wallet and I think this is a good and safe wallet for storing coins when compared to storing coins in an exchanger wallet. Trust Wallet is quite supportive for some coins and blockchain and I think this makes it easier for users to save coins without using multiple wallets

Trust wallet is one of the best wallet out there,  the fact that it was acquired by binance lead to it's mainstream usage by the entire crypto community and since then,  it has lived up to expectations. However, there are other great non custodial wallets that support multi-currency and other great features.

Atomic Wallet is a good one too,  i think it's one of the most complete cryptocurrency wallet that provides a one-stop Assets management tool,  with Atomic wallet, you can store more than 500 different coins/tokens supporting many blockchains as well perform a decentralized atomic swap for major currencies without leaving the wallet. Exclusive features of atomic wallet includes:

1. Multicurrency support
2. Atomic swap
3. Buy crypto option with debit card
4. Instant exchanges - using changelly and shapeshift
5. Staking
6. Multi security options
7. Decentralized And non-custodian

My other pick is imtoken, the wallet has been in existence for quite some times now and it provides one of the best wallet with easy to use interface. It also have great features like Multicurrency support, easy swap and non-custodial. However,  the greatest edge imtoken is having over other wallets out there is it's ability to enable users create multiple wallet, you can create as much as 10 different ethereum wallets within the app and same goes for it's other supported blockchains. Isn't that great?

However,  i think it's all boils down to preferences and your needs as all of them are really great with unique features. And i must really commend the brain behind all of them.

The only thing I don’t like about this wallet is that you need to have a certain amount of BNB coins to send coins.
Although now I'm not sure that I remember everything correctly, since I used this wallet for a relatively long time.
Do you need to have Ethereum or BNB to send Ethereum? It would be strange if for its transfer it would be necessary to have a BNB, although here I may be mistaken.

That's true and your experience is true as well, because am a user, have been using it for quite some time now. One of the features I like must is that, it is a multi wallet thus you can still use it to store your Bitcoin and other types of coins too. You can also import several wallets as easy as possible so far the private keys are available. It also has a DApp browser for more privacy, in the same way there are a good number of supported decentralized applications.

Probably you needed eth for ethereum transaction since its needed for tx fee when sending tokens that falls under this category. They also have some bnb chain tokens but of course what you need is bnb for its transaction. That's the thing, you needed both bnb and eth to cover some tokens for sending to exchange when you used this. I think this is normal and not a problem but I see as an advantage for both network.

You actually read my mind with this post. I downloaded Trust Wallet just yesterday and was wowwwed at the beauty of the wallet. Before now, I have been using MEW for my investments and airdrop tokens. Been scared of the rumours around MEW hack and the fact that am yet to know if there's an app for it. Now, I can confidently store my tokens in one app. I'm believing there will be competition, Trust Wallet should also try to make a release of better features and improvements to surpass others all time.

As for me, till now Trust wallet is the best and good a thing you have used it and experienced it as well. Showing the correct price of a token or coin is a good improvement and it saves time. Also, other types tokens other than Ethereum based tokens can be also be stored, Bitcoin can also be stored, BNB can also be stored and many more. There is also inbuilt broswer within it as well. I will keep using the wallet till further notice as am yet to see any better than it.

Yes, I also agree that Trustwallet is now probably the best and safest way to keep your wallet.
If you want to send tokens, you have already set them up at a low price. So you don't have to worry. Just send them without thinking about the cost because the cheapest delivery is set.

Yes that is true, trust wallet rocks and it is because of its features which makes it attractive to everyone who comes across it. Imagine using one wallet to store Bitcoin, Ethereum as well as it's supported ERC tokens, BNB as well as it's supported tokens, Tron, Icon and so on, therefore why won't it be the best so far. Another attractive feature is, it shows the accurate price of each token as well as it's overall worth. In all ramifications, trust wallet is the true definition of a multi-wallet.

There is no better way to say it than to say it the way it is, and that is, Trust wallet is the best type of wallet anyone can ever lay their hands on. With the ability to store different types of coins in one single wallet is a good striking feature of a wallet aiming to be at the top. Also, there is no need to visit exchanges or CMC to know the correct value of the coins in your wallet, because in Trust wallets the correct price is always updated just by refreshing the wallet. With this type of wallet, it is certain there is more to come.

The upcoming airdrop of trust tokens is also for old members? I am using TrustWallet for some time, so it would be pretty pitty if only new users receive the airdrop and the old one not.
Secondly, do you know the probable value of one token?

do you know the probable value of one token?

For the TWT token value, no one knows because it has not been officially released yet, but the airdrop has been formalized by its official Twitter binance so that the hunters' confidence in the airdrop will be successful in the future because they think it will be listed on the Binance exchange.

To be honest I am also a long time user of TrustWallet but haven't tried this airdrop.

For those who have never used any wallet, it is better to try it, there is only a better solution than to try to use a wallet for those who have never used it, namely to ask and learn from people who have already used it, so we can take a little reference from them about whether or not a wallet is good.

As far as I'm concerned, Trust wallet is the best mobile phone wallet as it supports cryptocurrency from different blockchain. Trust wallet makes storing cryptocurrency very easy and it's very secured. It uses automatic 2 step verification for users and posses several other unique features.

Trust wallet is one of the ideal solution right now for mobile and desktop devices. They are also actively working with many blockchains to work with their dapps. But as it's a new platform, there are several things to be fixed. Some of the wallet address are show incompatible with other popular wallets. They also need to have several options for wallet address as Legacy, Segwit and Segwit native addresses are not always equally supported.

yes and now trust wallet will launch their airdrop program which that token will use for fee while peopel send their coin.
and will cost with twt, maybe there are still many shortcomings but that will be fixed as soon as possible, because binance is one of their support.

Yeah, I have heard so much about trust wallet but I never really pay so much attention to it, thought people were just hyping it because it is the official wallet of Binance, but that perception quickly change when I download and install it, I was immediately impressed by the way the wallet bring out all erc20 tokens attached to the wallet and include price, I really do think for now trust wallet is the best mobile wallet out there.

For now, trust wallet is the best mobile wallet because of its multichain support. Desktop wallet such as Blue is also good when it was functional I haven't used it in a while now and wouldn't know how the project is fairing. Trust wallet has its own native token currently that's good.

I enjoy using Trust Wallet, too. It seems to be the best mobile cryptucurrency wallet at the moment as it has a simple design along with numerous cool features.

I don't have Trust wallet yet, but more I read about it, more I want to have it! Recently I saw some nice
airdrop for Trust wallet users, who have some coins there. I forgot about which coins, but they done it more
times with more coins, as I understand that's written in the article.
To be honest I don't use mobile wallets, not until now. I like desktop wallets, and only multichain wallet
I have is Atomic, and I can recommend it, it's very good, they even have their own token on two chains,
Ethereum and Binance.

Trust wallet is now gaining more audience than most mobile wallets, most especially with the airdrop it conducted (TWT). There is no doubt about it, it will definitely take so many customers away from other mobile wallets, until, it has a much better competitor.
If anyone will compete with it now, that means such a wallet would need to have much better features than Trust wallet.
The developers have done a great deal of work on it. They planned for it and they delivered to the satisfaction of their customers.
So far, I have not read, heard or seen any complaint on trust wallet, except anyone might want to deliberately criticize.

Trust wallet is really a nice wallet, it supports multichain coins, different networks are supported on the wallet and this wallet has been acquired or in partnership with binance which is another good side, it's a non-custodian wallet and has the option of passcode as an added security.

My question is this: The bitcoin wallet on trust wallet is neither legacy nor the known Segwit wallet but BP2. Someone should help me on this, thanks.

If you are so interested in legacy Bitcoin chain and others like segwit or bp2 I suggest you look into coinomi wallet, the wallet supports all new and old Bitcoin chains, it's visible clearly on the Bitcoin wallet in coinomi

I have used both type of wallets and tbh, the Trust wallet really rocks. The Ethereum transactions can be controlled for the proper gas fee, unlike the alternative Android wallets. My Pixel phone handles easily the Trust wallet and will continue to use this wallet until the better version comes out. Sometimes, free coin airdrops are received in my wallet but honestly, I have no idea where this altcoin came from. Maybe this is the airdrop coins or it can be from the Trust wallet developers.

Yes trust wallet is good, but I am new to it, since I heard about it when they are giving a free coin that you needed to install their wallet first because that coin will be sent in that wallet. I hope that the UI will be upgrade too and also I hope that in terms of security that wallet is good to use and there will be minimal problems only.

Trust wallet is awesome in many ways and I have also been using it for quite long now. Discovered it last year, and I used it to collect some airdrops. Compared to other decentralized wallets like Coinomi and Mycelium wallet I would say that Trust is best. The simplicity of the interface makes it easy for anyone to easily make use of it. Most of the other wallets I have used are always sophisticated and you will find it difficult getting around it, but this one is easy.

It also carries one of the most important features you can stake few coins which must be a very cool feature we cannot get with most other wallets. Currently I am staking TRX and earning some decent worth satoshis in trx and waiting for them to add waves coins as well.

Trust Wallet is an effective wallet storage and I have used this wallet for a long time. Compared to other decentralized wallets like Coinomi and Mycelium wallet I would say that Trust wallet is best. Its really a multi faced cryptocurrency wallet that nobody can hate. Trust wallet will still be gaining subscribers each day and I'm yet to see any critic about the wallet.

Trust wallet is one of the most secured and easy to use the digital wallet in this industry. I think CZ's contribution and partnership towards this company have influenced this as well. One feature that I like about the trust wallet is the shortest automatic quick locking of the wallet when you navigate from its interface. Blockchain app has a wide window and this can be exploited in case someone gets hold of your phone.

I like the Trust wallet because the interface is really easy to use, also I can handle all my tokens with no problem, a few others apps make this easy thing, so difficult and I use Trust As my main ETH wallet for now.

a bit true and it also seems like trustwallet is the first to use this but I don't know, I didn't really follow the updates of trustwallet, but there are also other mobile wallets that also implement this, it's just late.

Atomic wallet offers everything that has to do with security and accessablity when it comes to mobile wallet. it is preferable than trust wallet. the atomic wallet support multiple blockchain platform. airdrops from tron blockchain . recently, the atomic wallet creating a staking platform for some tokens that are stored on the wallet. this is why i preferred it more than trust wallet.

Atomic wallet improved a lot within a short time! They keep adding features in a single mobile app. Atomic is not just only a wallet, an exchange too, because they enable token/coin migrating to each other like you can convert your Ethereum to XLM through the Atomic wallet, and they have crypto buying feature through Visa card. One thing I miss in Atomic wallet is Dapp browser, for that option, Trust Wallet is best. Both are great and I use them both at the same time for the various task, but honestly, I think Trust wallet is better than Atomic!

It is a good multi wallet app, but do not forget that it is good for short-term storage because it is not safe, you loose your phone, you loose access to these funds and also it is highly probable that someone will steal your funds.  ::)

Always used Trust Wallet and this is a really good wallet. Simple and convenient interface, understandable even for beginners. Coinomi did not use, but I think to take a closer look and adopt. I was advised him and talked about the merits of the wallet and ease of use.

If you want a more user friendly wallet, try Atomic wallet. I have also used Trust. But my experience with Atomic wallet is cool. It is also a non-custodial wallet, with staking feature, a dex exchange and a multi wallet etc. You'd love it.

I don't trust 3rd party wallet that need to be online to generate your private keys. We might not know they maybe obtain our transactions, ip, priv keys and other informations. If it can generate wallet offline then it can be trusted

True, it's very convenient to use trust wallet, it's a good choice for newbies who knew nothing about crypto and want to try it out for the first time, also tokens are automatically added up once the importing is over, sleeky and easy interface
I've seen trust wallet have partnership with binance exchange so I have no complains for sure trust wallet is trusted.

In the field of cryptocurrency, there are so many wallets in where you can store your money online. In able to choose the best wallet you must first research so that you can make sure that your bitcoins are in good hands. There are cryptocurrency applications that you can download on the AppStore but those are hacked or scammed. So in able to make sure that you bitcoins are in good hands you must choose wisely which wallet are you going to use for your coins.
Their are also Ethereum, XRP and bitcoin cash that could also be profitable for investment just like bitcoin.

I agree it is easy to use, just need to import your old wallet and done you can manage it already, not like MEW that you need to enter your private key over and over again.
Also Trust Wallet is now the official cryptocurrency wallet of Binance and im telling you its legit and safe, small fee  and fast on transaction.
