Title: Total count of received & spent merit in the last 120 days
Post by: 20kevin20 on February 29, 2020, 09:13:03 PM
Quickest way to get your sent/received merits for the last 120 days:
LoyceV has created this handy tool (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229466.msg53941695#msg53941695) for this purpose. Instructions are very simple:

Quote
Update: Post in this topic, then go to loyce.club/120days (http://loyce.club/120days/)
This shouldn't take more than a few seconds to update.
Since this subject has been discussed in more topics, I can link this functionality to other topics too. Feel free to send me requests.

Another very quick way to get your sent/received merits for the last 120 days:
PrimeNumber7 has posted a method (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229466.msg54010210#msg54010210) giving you the total received merits for the last 120 days in a matter of seconds. The steps are very simple:
   1. Go to this website, but make sure you change UID to your BitcoinTalk User ID: https://bitcointalk-merit-api.herokuapp.com/api/v0.1/received_recent/UID
   2. Bookmark the website
   3. Enter the bookmarked link whenever you need to check your received merits!
You can find more information about other functionality of the API in the below thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232108.0

UPDATE: Here is how to get the total number of earned merits in the last 120 days - all credits go to the users below:

METHOD I: BPIP (thanks o_e_l_e_o)
   1. Go to this online calendar to find out what date was it 120 days ago: https://www.convertunits.com/dates/daysfromnow/-120
   2. Go to https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=YOURUSERNAME&start=YYYY-MM-DD (change YOURUSERNAME to your BTCTalk username and YYYY-MM-DD to the date from above)
   3. At the bottom of the loaded BPIP page, you'll see the total Merits you've received in the last 120 days.

METHOD II: GreatArkansas' Telegram Bot (thanks Rikafip)
   1. Go to GreatArkansas' thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224339.0) and follow the instructions.

METHOD III: Loyce Club (thanks o_e_l_e_o)
   1. Go here: http://loyce.club/Merit/history/806196.html
   2. Look at the sum of merits you had earned 120 days ago.
   3. Look at the sum of merits you have earned today.
   4. Subtract the two.

METHOD IV: tranthidung's unofficial service (thanks hosseinimr93)
   1. Go to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211129 and follow OP's instructions

METHOD V: TryNinja's Tampermonkey script (thanks TryNinja)
   1. Download the Tampermonkey extension for your browser
   2. Go to this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148488.msg53143412#msg53143412
   3. Add the userscript from the post above in Tampermonkey

METHOD VI: DdmrDdmr's Merit Dashboard (thanks DroomieChikito)
   1. Go to this online calendar to find out what date was it 120 days ago: https://www.convertunits.com/dates/daysfromnow/-120
   2. Go to DdmrDdmr's Merit Dashboard (https://public.tableau.com/profile/ddmrddmr#!/vizhome/shared/PGDX6D4H9)
   3. On the right side of the page, insert your username in the "To User Name" field
   4. Change the data range to start from the calendar date you have found from step 1
   5. Under "Total Received" on the right side of the website, you'll see the total Merit received in the last 120 days.

METHOD VII: Import Theymos' dump merit into Excel (thanks DroomieChikito)
   1. Go to this post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229466.msg53938428#msg53938428) and follow the instructions.

Original post:

Every time I want to know how much merit I've spent or received in the last 120 days or a campaign asks me to write that into the participation post, I have to manually add every single number on a calculator to get a total result.

I suggest adding the total count of merit received and spent in the last 120 days, I think it would be pretty useful to quite a lot of members here. In my mind, it's just a little formula the administrator could add next to the "Received in the last 120 days" text.. something like "Received in the last 120 days: 252 Merits"

In my mind, it sounds like a rather simple formula that could be added on the Merits page. I've looked for this number many times but have never found an easier way to get it.. Thoughts? :D

A very quick workaround:

Go here: http://loyce.club/Merit/history/806196.html
Look at the sum of merits you had earned 120 days ago.
Look at the sum of merits you have earned today.
Subtract the two.

Edit: Actually, here's a better workaround:

Take this link: https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=20kevin20&start=yyyy-mm-dd
Replace yyyy-mm-dd with the date 120 days ago.
Scroll to bottom.
Copy number from "Sum of merit" field.

A very quick workaround:

Go here: http://loyce.club/Merit/history/806196.html
Look at the sum of merits you had earned 120 days ago.
Look at the sum of merits you have earned today.
Subtract the two.

Then add merit you have earned after last update of Loyce.club.
Or use the merit shown in your bitcointalk profile instead of what is shown in Loyce.club as your total merit. Then subtract airdropped merits.

Here is a tool created by tranthidung (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1292764) to get your total earned merit the last 120 days. But you should wait until tranthidung becomes online.
Unofficial service to get your total merits in the last 120 days (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211129)

Even more convenient than that is Telegram Bot  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224339.0) made by @GreatArkansas. It shows  other useful stuff, beside merit earned in last 120 days, like trust/distrust lists. Even if you don't have Telegram, it's worth to get it just for that.

I can trigger an update on a file on loyce.club to count this after every post made in this topic. Shouldn't take too long to make if anyone's interested, and it'll update within a few seconds after posting.
I can also get 120days.tk for it.

I'm going to get booze now though, so it won't happen tonight.

Update: Post in this topic, then go to loyce.club/120days (http://loyce.club/120days/)

Since this subject has been discussed in more topics, I can link this functionality to other topics too. Feel free to send me requests.

In general, as long as the total merits received in 120 days are not so many, I think why not to count it manually. I also did it and no problem so far. While for members that got more than 500 merits (many) in 120 days, surely it is needed something to help us count it. Yeah, we have already had the solution even if it is not officially made by the forum (see suggestions from o_e_l_e_o and hosseinimr93 above).

~~But you should wait until tranthidung becomes online.
IMO, it is better to count it manually than make a request to tranthidung and wait for him online. I don't say what tranthidung offer isn't helpful, but why not we do it ourselves if it is possible to do. Moreover, if tranthidung isn't online, it should take a longer time to wait for the reply.

>Note: If tranthidung is online, then it is okay.

Thanks! I had a feeling you guys must've had some hippity hoppity kind of tools to save precious minutes of my life doing some calculus.

Now based on the received answers, I'll make a summary of the four methods and I'll add this post to OP in case others need it:

METHOD I: BPIP (thanks o_e_l_e_o)
   1. Go to this online calendar to find out what date was it 120 days ago: https://www.convertunits.com/dates/daysfromnow/-120
   2. Go to https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=YOURUSERNAME&start=YYYY-MM-DD (change YOURUSERNAME to your BTCTalk username and YYYY-MM-DD to the date from above)
   3. At the bottom of the loaded BPIP page, you'll see the total Merits you've received in the last 120 days.

METHOD II: GreatArkansas' Telegram Bot (thanks Rikafip)
   1. Go to GreatArkansas' thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224339.0) and follow the instructions.

METHOD III: Loyce Club (thanks o_e_l_e_o)
   1. Go here: http://loyce.club/Merit/history/806196.html
   2. Look at the sum of merits you had earned 120 days ago.
   3. Look at the sum of merits you have earned today.
   4. Subtract the two.

METHOD IV: tranthidung's unofficial service (thanks hosseinimr93)
   1. Go to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211129 and follow OP's instructions

I can also get 120days.tk for it.

I'm going to get booze now though, so it won't happen tonight.
Only if you wish. But I think it might be better if you start a new thread on your own account for that - I want your acc to take the deserved merits for the work, not me.

I also made a simple script for it long time ago, which you can use with Tampermonkey in your browser: Display total sent/ received merits last 120 days on user merit stat page (v.0.2) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148488.msg53143412#msg53143412)

also, You can use Bitcointalk merit dashboard (https://public.tableau.com/shared/PGDX6D4H9?:display_count=y&:origin=viz_share_link) by ddmrddmr (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4428616.0) and change range date 120 days

https://i.postimg.cc/63Z3P60V/1.png

or make own spreadsheet by import dump merit from theymos

Here you go: https://bitcointalk.org/merit.txt.xz

https://i.postimg.cc/Kz6bYNWY/2.png

and filter "user to" into your UID

https://i.postimg.cc/4xDQBHj9/3.png

And SUM it all

Previously I always counted the amount of merit I received in the last 120 days using the manual method and cant deny that I had to count several times so the results were accurate. But on several occasions I also use the VI method thanks to the DdmrDdmr merit dashboard which only needs to change the username and the date the calculation starts.

I have tried two calculation methods so far and I am sure the numbers are the same. Very helpful and honest that both methods are very easy to use. For some other methods I have not tried it and maybe I will try it next time.

Code:
The results of the first calculation method= 278

Code:
The results of the sixth calculation method = 278

No need, there are enough topics about this already.

Update: after some fiddling, it should work now for both received and sent Merit:
http://loyce.club/other/120days.png
Let me know if anything doesn't work.

Users can remove their post in this topic after a few seconds if they want.
I can also activate this on a siganture campaign topic if a campaign manager is interested.

Thank you, LoyceV. I am leaving this reply here as a test and as a notice that I'll add your method to the top of the OP because I think it's the easiest way.

If something goes wrong, I'll let you know :D

Edit: works within seconds. Perfect :) will update OP soon

I made a very easy fix for this but I have my Excel in handy so, lets see if the results are the same as the loyce ones.
I got my calculation for the past 120 -  total 412 received merit based on my merit history in the bitcointalk.

Yes, Loyce is correct :)

I think all we have to do is post a generic text here and our activity will trigger the bot to go tally our merits given and add to the list on the link provided.

Something like that at any rate.

You can use the following API endpoint to get the number of merit a particular UID has received in the last 120 days:
https://bitcointalk-merit-api.herokuapp.com/api/v0.1/received_recent/[uid]

You can find more information about other functionality of the API in the below thread:

I think you should remove them. In my opinion, they are considered as bump and as you know you should delete the old bumps whenever you bump your thread.
Now, you have two posts in a row. I think it would be better if the previous one get deleted.

This topic: [Proposal] Show total Received and Send merit on the Merit summary page. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5255070.0) got me thinking: I now trigger updates in 2 different topics, but if any campaign manager is actually going to use it, I can set a certain keyword (or phrase: "Merit earned in the last 120 days:") to post for an update. That way, it works in any topic and the campaign participant can (almost) instanly see the result. If I add an HTML anchor, they can post a direct link to their own Merit count.

If any campaign manager is interested in using this, please post here!
I made this:
Post this on any public board:

Sample post before editing
Merit earned in the last 120 days: <wait for it>
(it doesn't have to be red, and you don't have to post "<wait for it>")
(this only works if it's a new post, edits are ignored)

Wait a few seconds, then go to loyce.club/120days (http://loyce.club/120days/) for the result.
Edit your post and enter your Merit total. Use (Copy this link (http://)) to add a direct link for the campaign manager to verify: http://loyce.club/120days/index.html#125

Sample post after editing
Merit earned in the last 120 days: 680 Merit (http://loyce.club/120days/index.html#125).

BBCode:
Code:
Merit earned in the last 120 days: [url=http://loyce.club/120days/index.html#125]680 Merit[/url].

Campaign Managers: feel free to quote this post in your campaign thread if you're interested in the 120 days Merit count.

Note: quoting this post triggers an update to loyce.club/120days (http://loyce.club/120days/) too.
