Did someone contaminate Bitcointalk's water cooler with some butthurt virus...

Stop acting like a spoiled child. A user was rude to you? Ignore them and block their PMs if you can't stand it and move on.

If this harassment is not dealt with after I asked him several times not to respond to me and added him to my ignore list which seems to have done nothing then the forum really is in a sorry state these days.

Also his claims for me tor remove my trust dew to abuse are not founded he is not trusted by me for his own actions yet he then posted negative trust on my profile which is clearly abuse and slander...
You should have blocked him to avoid unnecessary PMs

Bitcointalk mods don't ignore my harassment claims.
Unfortunately trust ratings are not moderated here but DT members can try to help out in case there is clear abuse thou it's not a guarantee

He asked that I not respond. I didn’t respond and then he sent a second PM saying he left me negative trust. He has lost it. I actually offered to remedy the situation and scrap it but he wanted to play tough. Smh.

Will upload his messages once I am home  :) unless you want to do the right thing and show in chronological order magicbyte.

Both of you should just step back and remove those ratings. And stop this PM publishing nonsense too. Which one wants to be an adult in this situation?

He is on the ignore list but his PM's continue to arrive.

So what? You don't have to read them, let alone reply or throw red trust around.

You can block PMs here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=pmprefs

Why do you feel the need to antagonize this user?

Done...

Great. rxalt removed his too. Please lock the thread and I would suggest to remove the PM screenshots too, it's really unnecessary.

Thank you both.

No need for you TS. This thread has concluded. Feedback removed as promised earlier. Thanks moon for your guidance  :)

See how easy that was?
No need to blame the forum for everything. It all starts with you and how you interact with people  ;)

I usually ignore such topics, the only reason I am replying to your topic is the fact that I know you from the mining board, and you seem to be a good member there.

RXalts is not a DT member and his ratings don't show to anyone except to those who have included him in their trust list, as far as the last update from LoyceV's website (http://loyce.club/trust/2020-02-29_Sat_06.37h/), they are only two members.

In fact, even if he was a DT member I wouldn't be too concerned as long as it's not a type 3 trust flag, as many people know by now the trust system, especially the tags, are far from accurate and anybody with two or more brain cells shouldn't be blindly counting on it for any dealings.

You should have blocked him to avoid unnecessary PMs

I am not aware of a method that allows you to block PMs, the alternative is to ignore them i.e., don't open them.

Nevermind, you can (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230770.msg53973078#msg53973078)

I think maybe Theymos should take the whole trust system down, it seems to be causing more harm than good, a fine portion of computer resources, as well as community members' resources, is being wasted on it, I think we will do a lot better with only the flag system specifically the third one.

What goes around comes around..

I think I've put up with enough from this user though.

LOL, it doesn't happen often but you're wrong, TWICE in one post. rxalts is in DT and it is possible to block PMs (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=pmprefs).

Thank you mikey but I think we have reached resolution for now with this matter.
