Honestly If anyone just come into crypto space through a link or online ads it's easier to get lost and fall victim to scams, i never get hacked for once or lost money to scam projects simply because I favoured learning things I don't know anything about, why can't people be like this either? This will easily safe you from money doubling schemes and Ponzi schemes, please newcomers and members, be more willing to learn.

Come one, not everyone can be learning faster than other people. Every person has their own capacity learning something news, could be fast also could be slowed. You can't expect everyone can faster learning like other people who already know the crypto itself. Learning not just reading, also they can get from the experience went everyone falling the scam and he already realized he falling to the scam. He can be learning from thats, and more be carefully at the future remember the best learning you can get is from your experience.

How do you relearn ? You relearn by taking the negatives from a scenario and ensures it never happens again.
You also relearn when you put the positives and negatives of a circumstance to a proper use on next attempt.

Most people get scammed out of greed and you know it is basic human nature and even the experienced members also fall prey to scams just because of greed, even if someone has complete knowledge about how these scammers deal and also keep alerting others about potential scams even such person can be scammed that is why these clever scammers are also called as con artists.

No matter how many people say and advertise that crypto activities get you easy money, always do your research first. Ponzi scheme is another form of scam where people are cheated in a smart way, while launching their coin they will show you heaven in hand by stating false promises also they will make you more addict to it, At the end of the day you will be cheated and all your investment or effort will go in vain..

Exactly bro, in life learning never stops, everyday we continue to learn more and understand better that is the only way to have the necessary information to survive, if you don't learn, you can easily get cheated, so very necessary to read and learn to have good knowledge of things happening around us or around the world.
It also save us from falling victim easily,  if you have good knowledge of things you can easily spot a scam from miles away.

Both greed and wanted to get easy ways to earn, it should not be the proper practice when you are working from this kind of industry. One single mistake

Good thing you know how to deal with it, buddy. But people aren't like that, and that is the unfortunate reality. People tend to fall easily in such schemes because they want an easy money, they lack of such knowledge about clickbaits and more, they are perhaps an easy to get thing. Knowledge is the most essential thing here in cryptocurrency. If you don't have the knowledge to understand what is going on or what is happening here in the cryptocurrency then probably this will become a huge problem for all of them who are unknowledgeable especially with the newbies who are very prone in different foul play.

I have learned a lot from the experience of crypto and will not fall into a second time. When ICO lending was a trend I was too greedy and believed that investing in a project like that would bring big profits in a short time, but all of that was just a trick so that I fell into it and now I have understood about good investment.

I second that. People out there, especially the newbies fall for those scams due to their ignorance. They see something, they just jumps into it without make further analysis. The more they learn, the more they will know how the whole crypto market works. They will eventually be able to distinguish between whats fake and whats real.

Greediness, ignorance and lack of patience is usually the cause of many newbies falling victims to this ponzi schemes, claiming to be money doublers either via investment, mining or trading which are obviously false claims then promise paying certain percentage based on time period stated on their sites. The problem isn't that these warning aren't clear for those who want to be safe to get rescued but the gullible Investors are just after the profit without wanting to learn first.

The industry is still very new and new ideas/solution are been tested frequently, if you think you know it all, you'll easily get left behind as solution you thought are the best yesterday can easily get replace with better ones tomorrow.

I agree, but you can't really blame people for being gullible enough to invest on crypto and lost money, specially if you're a beginner. I personally lost some, not in ICO, but on a bitcoin double years ago. I was just a newbie then, and I thought why not? so I invest and it's good because I was able to get a pay. But then I re-invested it again. And sadly, the scammers pull an exit scam.

It was really an eye opener for me and I have learn my lessons very expensive one. Anyways, I move forward never trust anyone with my precious cryptos.

There is really a learning curve here in crypto and as the market is still evolving as it is still fairly young as compare to other traditional markets. And one thing that those scammers are taking advantage is that crypto is supposedly (pseudo) anonymous. That's why they have the audacity to pull that stunt because they know that no one can track them down. And that is why the only weapon we can have against them is to educate ourselves so that we won't fall for their trick.

I'm also dealing with a lot of investment opportunity that time, knowing that a lot of people have already gained money with only a small amount of time. But I hesitate to grab it and make some research. Being a newbie in this industry makes a big factor how this crypto investment scam are still out there. The target is the one who had slight awareness about cryptocurrency. There traps had already set to encourage their victim to invest.
Its all right to failed at the beginning but try to learn and overcome this obstacle and make it motivation to learn new things about crypto. Its essential to know things works to be able to success. Don't be lazy and grab every opportunities we had here.

My research was wrong several times in year 2028-2019 to select legit project. Now I think after learning and losing time, now i can select over 80-90 percent of legit project. Time also a problem last year or 2018, people didn't trust new projects, some legit project also dead. As new investor can easily trust new projects, new hunters can trust all new projects.

Well, it is good that you are pretty much aware into your surroundings keeping yourself safe and away from such schemes to avoid being hacked or getting scammed. It is really in need that we must educate ourselves into anything that is new from us to be able to easily adapt and manage to get into such thing properly to avoid doing mistakes that we might regret in the end. But, even if you have already learned the basics and do every precautionary measures needed to avoid unnecessary things to happen, still there can be instances that unexpected things do really happen which we cannot control. But being educated on the thing we do is decreasing the probability for bad things to happen because we are being aware and getting ourselves ready from it. The desperation and greed are already part of the market and it will continue to exist because everyone eyes only anyway to get rich no matter what the risks are OR how it is done.
In terms of ads, I never trusted ads from Facebook as it could be made by bots sharing posts automatically.

In crypto currency, either as a trader or an investor or a bounty hunter, there is a need to keep learning, and i mean learning daily if not, you will be left behind.

Alot of projects copying 2017 projects mode of conducting crowdfunding and road-map are no where today, while traders who do not learn by doing proper research activities find themselves in rekt.

In addition to all you have said which is of course true, most people hardly tell newbies or those showing interest of joining the crypto space the truth or rather the reality of things on ground.  They might have different reasons but that doesn't cut the fact that, the risks etc that exists within the crypto space must be told. Most people join with different expectations and when it is not met are quick to say funny things which points to the fact, they lacked adequate knowledge. So at every point in time, in our own little ways lets make sure the risks etc of the crypto space is being explained this will go a long way in keeping them safe from scams, pump and dump coins etc. Lastly explaining what exists in the crypto space will increase their urge to learn more thus leading to more learning.

You should be happy because you are not one of the victims that get hack or scam. You must still be careful because the scammer or the hacker still at the outside and waiting for their time. It is just because most people here who fell to the scheme are they who just focus on the profit only. They are too focus the profit and forget to find the basic thing before spend their money. Maybe I will understand if there is many people who get scammed when they come to crypto at 2010-2013 ago because at that time there was no one who give an advice to start to invest. But if compare with the current situation, I feel they are fool to be scammed. Because if you try to googling an advice starting to invest then it will be much people who provide it and you just only read it and understood it and I will bet you will never fall to the scammer.

I think experience is a good teacher after all. Get scammed is not bad at all you learn something from that and make you be aware, careful & wise. I think people already know the consequences invest on cryptocurrency but they ignore it because of greedy.

I don't doubt about this, you are saying the real fact about crypto, if you don't spend time learning you will never get very good, scammers always find new ways to scam people and the more you learn about this better, you won't fall for any bad tricks

We should never stop learning because in the future it can be our best asset to earn and make more profit. I know the struggle to learn more new things especially in this field, and it's not easy just like that but if you have a determination to learn, I'm sure in the end you will become knowledgeable. Most of the newbies have difficulty finding the best projects, and right now the market is now full of scam and shit project plus, sometimes the decent project that we find turns into a shit project. We should always exert more effort and time to learn new things and having various knowledge in cryptocurrency will totally help you determine which project will have potential in the future. Some people are lucky that they learn without making mistakes, when I was introduce in the forum, I fall with the HYIP and I loss money until I understand that HYIP is just build by the scammers, but eventually as I continue to get updated on this forum, I learn more legitimate ways of making money including investing those assets that has a real potential in the future.

Absolutely correct, I could vividly remember when I newly get into the cryptocurrency community, things were actually very strange in my own sight and later get note exposure to the world of cryptocurrency. Backed in these days, the ideas of be a bitcoiner wasn't there because of my altitude towards the technology but later started learning and still learning til date.

i like you man . you use the situation to study hard on crypto and related to it but i guess many people are like that because they are looking for ways to earn income so search results can give them cryptos like what i did before when i was searching the same thing  .  crypto was even popular now so results should go out easily    . aside from earning potential , cryptos can also be useful on other ways especially that many payment solutions are unavailable due to the crisis  . learning and continue learning is important as this makes us smart in the long run because many fraudster and scamers  do also exist on this industry

Yup, that's so right! Learning never ends. There is no level that you will reach and learning would end. As you keep learning, the more you will get to know about things that you never knew before. When I started cryptocurrency, and not just cryptocurrencies alone, including other online investments, I don't rush into anything I see.

There are some sites I will see, no matter how good they look, I will still go to Google and search for reviews about them to know what others think about them and whether they are scammers or not. This is very important, especially when you're a newbie, because you're still new and you don't understand how things works here. So you need to rely on doing research to help yourself out.

From this longest bear market learned we learned a lot, we see that nothing can´t grow forever without any deep correction, we see that altcoins are not stable and they are not recommended for long term. Look at top 100 altcoins now and compare them with year 2016 or 2017. In the next bull run we have to better manage our earnings and not succumb to the fomo effect.  ::)
