Title: Which Strategy is Best Here on BCTalk?
Post by: Jetheat on March 30, 2020, 10:47:04 AM
Across your forum travels, which thread would you say is the best that a newbie can learn from and implement?

I'm looking for a good trading strategy which I can implement and get started with.

Is there anyone on here who has been posting daily and showing what they do which I can use to learn from?

JH

What exactly do you want to learn about? I see you are a newbie, as a newbie I suggest you take your time to learn about what crypto is by using google, follow by what wallet is and how they work to avoid getting scammed

1. What crypto is
2. How wallet works
3. Practical with wallets
4. Exchanges and how they work
5. Then you can start learning how to make money or gains investing on crypto

If you are  new to the forum, then i suggest that you check through beginners & help https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0) of the forum and check the basics.

Then you can learn the basics by understanding whats below

1. What crypto is
2. How wallet works
3. Practical with wallets
4. Exchanges and how they work

After that you can practice trading, and ofcourse how it works, because there are several strategies in crypto currency trading.

Always dyor

You should learn about how the crypto market works. You must start with very small money and you can start to learn from here about the crypto market. You should understand how to identify the fundamental of the project, hype, rumour and you must know about how to get the right time to buy or sell. You shall not be a greedy person. Just quit from the market when you have gotten a nice profit.

Might be a bit to hard to find such threads in this forum. You can try the Trading Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0) board, but most threads there are just garbage, though eventually you'll find some good posts.

Honestly, you're better off going to reddit or tradingview, the latter has a lot of people providing good (but also not so good) analysis on a daily basis about the latest market movements. Good luck!

Do not embark on crypto trading as if it's something you can easily figure out, do not be fooled by the simple charts and graphs they can make you think it's easier, without proper knowledge you will end up looking your coins, better learn deeply about trading

You won't get one from anyone on here, every traders have their own strategy so you have to create your own too, you can only learn how to read candles and that's it, the safest way in trading is buying usdt and hold till Bitcoin goes down and buy

For strategy i think its better to watch many video tutorial so you can learn the skills of other traders if you want to learn how they do it. You can also read many blog article that giving somebasic tips about trading.

Here in this forum you can only see disccusion and other people opinion sometimes its not base on thier experience but only base on thier opinion.
So you need to be careful in every individual judgement about trading.

Please active on this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0 and on this section as well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 through both of section you can read many things. Also you have to have an open minded, all learning must you read and digest it. Because when you already know how to trade later you can take one by one strategy that you like. I think those things are newbie need, don't just spending all their time to look video and other people trade because it will be useless. You need to have your own strategy not copied what has done by someone.

For a newbie, I don't ecpect you to just go straight ahead to start trading or learning how to trade. First, You need to learn about cryptocurrencies and blockchains amd the concepts behind them.

Thanks to  Doranile432 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2631812) for pointing out some basic yet fundamental information/concepts you should know about Bitcoin, Altcoins and blockhchains.

4. Exchanges and how they work

When you're done with the basics, You should consider taking trading lessons. Yes, You definitely should. Before you can get to enjoy those juicy profits, You should get your hands dirty. I suggest using both:

[1] . Take  Babypips Trading classes (https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex).

PS:  You can skip the part about forex trading basics and move on the technical analysis section.

[2] YouTube trading videos/tutorials – Its absolutely FREE.

Yes, There are a couple of people posting their trading activities. You can learn a thing or two from their posts/trades.

Above all, try to be consistent in all you do. Whether you're learning to trade or literally trading. Don't give up or get the  imposter syndrome. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impostor_syndrome)

on the form itself, there is no such thread where you can learn how to trade. but I often saw people who drop links to their websites or YouTube channels where they teach how to trade cryptocurrency. so check some links

Best strategy is to buy every month a tiny bit. Regularly. Something small you can afford to lose all. Like what you spend on coffee. By buying every month you will avoid buying at top. Then you hold. And make selling strategy. One of good ones is SSS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345065.0.    But on the other hand you can simply hold and never sell. It also works.

If you want to have extra knowledge on how to trade then probably you are in the wrong section because this is all about altcoins. You must go to the trading discussions so that the people that will able to entertain you are those person who really have experience to the trading industry.

For technical analysis, check each thread that's posted on Speculation. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0)
The section is specific for bitcoin analysis and as a newbie, you should start learning things first about bitcoin. You can read some insightful analysis on that section.
