Title: Things you can do in self-isolation:)
Post by: lucija2005 on April 08, 2020, 08:46:51 PM
Since I know a lot of people are really bored staying home and just want to go outside for a walk on a sunny day and just enjoy that day, but the situation is clear and please stay home and stay safe. I'm gonna enumerate some things you can do while being at home.
I know some people are really lazy and just want to lay in bed, but if you are bored this is the right time to clean something like a wardrobe, kitchen, room....
If you are a girl experiment with nail polishes and give yourself a manicure or pedicure, it will be fun ;D.
You can also read a book it is really good for your brain and it' s relaxing.
You can start a new series on TV and binge watching it.
Play some games like monopoly, cards, etc...
You can also workout a little bit, it also helps to boost immunity, it doesn't have to be a hard workout, just do a few exercises.
You can also start a blog or even a vlog, it can be for fun, just for you  ;).
Bake some cakes, muffins, brownies, something fun!
Learn a new language you wanted to learn for a while, go for it!  I hope I gave you some ideas how to kill boredness in this time and I would also wanted to know what are you doing during self- isolation and do you have more ideas!!

No, I don't feel bored while I stay at my home because I have many things to do. I can play some games with my family, I can make something with them, or I can just spend my time to watch television or discovery channel ;D
It depends on how you can use your time in your home, and if you feel bored, maybe you need to sleep for a while to forget everything.

If I had to go into lockdown, I'd do more of the following; read, exercise, sleep, watch tv and tidy up the house and garden.

Read, learn and educate yourself. The time in self-isolation doesn't need to be wasted. There are so much useful things you can do. From learning to sports, no matter how small your space is, there is always something useful to do!

These things are also get bored at some point if you are doing the same things for weeks, so keep changing the routine and more importantly eat and take enough sleep which will keep you healty.Don't worry about losing your abs it can be worked out later so being lazy is okay for now. :D

Yes, I agree with you this things also get bored after a time and of course you can be lazy, but I just wanted to motivate some of people to do something around the house or work out and it was just an advice, you don't have to do it if you don't want to of course.

I love playing the piano I learned music before I have all kinds of musical instruments at home However now I do not sing again like before sometimes from time to time sitting in the garden. But now in self-isolation I love working on the technology Create different websites and sell them That's my job now.

Good, at least you can still earn money while you stay at homes. I think that can be additional income for you which will help you to survive in this pandemic situations.

I hope we all can get the advantage of these situations, and we can found another sources income so we can still make money at this moment. Soon, we will have a chance to get out and feels the outside of our homes.

Yes, this is our thinking on how we utilize the time in these lock down days. For my son he used the time to do the drawings in the free time which can be seen here Drawings by a 6 Years Old Kid (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239691.0)

In self-isolation you have to do things that will make your job enjoyable At home boredom often leads to annoyance. These tasks hinder development That is why there is a need for a little entertainment as life changes.

People are always complaining about lack of time, and them everybody is bored  ???

Yes because some people don't like to read or are play games or they don't have anyone to play those games.... etc.

Its really boring to stay at home for long period but on the other hand its a priceless moment to bond with our family.

We are currently building a mini dining table and chairs using scrap materials for our kids and its really fulfilling because we see how excited our kids to use it.

I already tried baking cakes but we dont have oven so I searched for a no bake cakes recipe and its really fun, my kids love it.

Aha, that's a good one thing that you can do with all of these stays at home times. I envy you because you can do baking, while, I can't. Aside from reading things to improve everything you want to like skills or informative stuff that can enrich your thinking.

Playing PC games is also a good activity to ease boredom.

trust me it will be boring after a few weeks, because we a re human and will always try to look for something new and upgraded.

Not unless this is profiteering?then it will always be boring after time.

Better to gambling sometimes and Trade for some chances, this will give you opportunity to enjoy and earn(if luck)

In isolation, I like better to sleep, eat, and watch movies. But now I even have become more curious about gambling it's very profitable and has created new opportunities to form money within the lockdown. I play with entertainment and have gained some knowledge about other sites that can be useful to me within the future.

Be careful if you are curious about gambling because you should know that gambling will have a risk, and gambling can eat your money if you are not stopping after playing for some time. It is better to search for the other way from the internet to make money so you will have a new chance to make money.

Yes, some of the thing even I have started to implement in my personal life now since we have time and better to make use of it and get fit. Exercise is something which will help us to stay more focused, get better in shape and to remain flexible. Once this becomes the part of life it can act like a stress buster.

It’s good to have a discipline and a planned way in isolation so that you know that you are taking care of your health and as wellbeing productive in learning or updating yourself rather than just being unorganized. There are so many things to do and utilize this time in order to be more efficient in our lives.

This lockdown or isolation times are the ones where we need to focus and get the things right which has been missing in a while or was not working correctly. This time helped me what exactly I need to achieve and how things are being happening. Just need to change some things in order to make it where you must go. This self me time just help you to make some changes and think over it.

I am looking forward to covid-19 period to end soon because it affected our lives really badly. Something good happened for me too in this period. I started allocating more time on my hobbies like watching series/movies, playing video games etc. . I started working from home too and I really liked it. Because I can manage my time nicely for doing various things in a day. But like I said, I hope we can get rid of covid-19 as soon as possible and start going back to normal.

Be productive. One of the best thing is to educate yourself while at home for quarantine. Being knowledgeable is an advantage. Another thing that you can do on an isolation is to make yourself healthier. Do some, workout and excercises. Make your body strong so that you cant get caught easily by any diseases or viruses. Another thing is to work at home/ learning how to earn while at home. Do not waste time and try to make more for your love ones.

Things you can do in self-isolation

Isolate the virus so you don't have to be in isolation any longer.

I wake up as usual, trying to be in shape. I exercise, wash, shave. Then I have breakfast and start working via the Internet. In the evening I walk a little on the street, not far from home. I also watch movies and read books.

A free person has no limitations. Nobody limited me in anything, but I think if you find yourself in such a situation, then you will have a lot of time to study and just observe yourself. Do you often just silently begin to be aware of your every movement, thought, emotion?

This is a perfect example of how you can utilize your free time to learn and once you know, spread the knowledge so that others also learn and you also now more about it and can earn as well. Never to let it go waste as this all kills learnt now will be helpful for rest of your life.

You're lucky because you're living in a big house which means that you have equipment that can make you busy during these isolation times.

You have gym equipment I guess or you have some consoles which you can enjoy while being stuck in your home.

The first thing I did during the lockdown and self-isolation was to clear out my cellar. There was so much old stuff I didn't really need anymore. As part of it I also started to look at a few boxes of old books, and surprisingly I didn't read all of them yet. There were a few books I always wanted to read but never had the time for it. But now with the lockdown there is too much time available at home.

Watching series is also one of my new hobbies since the lockdown. There are so many available shows to choose from. I bet Netflix profited a lot from the pandemic. No wonder they are increasing their fees.

I prefer watching movies and reading books since its a hobbies of mine. Also, i create cosmetic products if i have time. I can actually last a day watching movies or animes only.

yes in isolation, in lockdown we must not let go and become jellies watching TV, we must keep active, clean the house, do physical activity / sport, follow our hobbies, play video games and watch movies but without exaggerating and obviously intensifying our business and efforts to earn altcoins

Yes, I have many things to keep me busy, but my gym equipment was moved to another garage. Me and 3 more friends improvised and make for us gym. Everybody brought their stuff and we made it to be more efficient.
For the Console is pretty same situation.. I bought new big TV to can play HDR games, but when my girlfriend moved out from her house and went to leave in her apartment I gave her my new TV and console to have something to do there when I'm closed in the little apartment of hers.
Believe me there is enough thinks to do in my garage or in the back yard.. I'm thinking to start making barbecue and to be ready for the summer :D

It seems like you are not selfish.. all your things are somewhere else but not in your home. This is great man keep it like that and the life will smile you because i believe in Karma.
However the things I do in self-isolation are watching TV, cooking, eating the things i cooked, training 100 pushups, 100 crunches etc.. and every day doing more than the last day.. playing games, trying to improve my Excel skills, read books.. and when I looked up my 14 days was over.

That is good. I hope you know how to pick the right project because we have thousands new project that offers the investor a big return if they invest their money with that project. You will have a chance to make a big profit by investing on the new project, but you also have a big chance to get scammed by them since we do not know which project will succeed in the future. If you want, you can invest in bitcoin.

Reading is a great thing to do when you are isolated by yourself. Try a variety of topics from entertaining to educational. Meditation and stretching are great for your body but also for you mind. We spend so much time sitting at desks or in chairs that put us in strange unnatural positions. The best way to combat that is to stretch your muscles so that as you get older you will stay limber and help prevent a lot of common problems in modern humans. Mediation helps your brain stay relaxed and calm when situations in previous times could cause you to overreact or act impulsively.

You are fortunate to be investor in many projects provided those projects are good ones.  :)
The best thing to do in self isolation is to increase your knowledge about anything you like. You can improve your skills because once everything is back to normal, we won't find this free time.

Maintain you’re in a good shape should be the main motive of everybody which I feel, as this is where you have a chance and to regain the lost ground if any. This time helps you to understand yourself better, see what patch you are walking and where you need to reach and how you can do it. This will help to charter out the plan and work on it accordingly and possible only if you remain fit.

I think if you're a busy person pre-covid, you should take advantage of this time to do the things you had no time to do before. While the others who literally don't know what to do with their time while at home should start taking new hobbies or start spending time with their families.
