Hello all, how do you go up in ranks? I'm unable to post images and it looks like need a higher member role?

Really would appreciate some help or guidance.

Yeah, to allowed post an images you need at least be rank up to jr member (30 activity and 1 merit) or buy copper membership here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote . Copper membership have same permissions like member rank so this rank can post images.

There are plenty of threads made regarding this subject matter and you are free to check them out by simply typing keywords related to ranking up. But to somewhat give you the idea before going to those topics. There's this thing called "Merit", it is sort of a point given by other users in this forum if ever they would like your post or topic created perhaps. It is kind of a "like" or "heart" system just like in social media platforms. Each rank has a required merit needed in order to move to the next one.



Another thing is the 'activity'. Based from my understanding it has something to do with the number of posts you have made and how long your account is created, which represents your account being active, makes sense of the term "activity".



Note: There are merit giveaways sometimes in this forum which could be a stepping stone to ranking up.

To quite help you, sometimes merit giveaways would want you to list the topica you have created and if those topics for them are helpful or deserving merits, they would give you merit. Sometimes, they would start or give a topic and you would share your idea, about it, but those ideas that deserves merit are those that would fit their "standard" of 'quality'.

If you just want to post images its better for you to buy copper membership in that case you will not need to wait to have enough activity or someone give you 1 merit to rank up.
After buying copper member you can now post images.
