It's not but if you wanna get the best ico and you can visit this site icodrop.com mostly icos that listed on there were coming from the major exchange site which was having more than 80% rate to be successful icos.
It's not true if the market is still getting flooded by scam icos as long as you do a deep research and you will be safe.

Hi, guys, I want to ask how do I avoid ICO scams...

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?
The best prevention is dont join any ICO now. There are some new projects launches their fund raising through IEO and thats more reassuring knowing a legit exchange will process the token sale. Many investors have been scammed by these ICO projects and this is not advisable process bow.

You are definitely right. Too much bullshit coins and tokens has been swarming the market and if you are not careful you might end up with the same fate that they had.
Why not invest it on top coins and tokens that are highly traded on the market its very risky to bet on new coins and  will only result to scam activity.

There are good promises left given by developers but I don't know if they can make that in reality.

We are flooded with more scam project since 2018 where there are many successful project failed after raising funds.

I am suggesting you to stop investing in ICO, instead choose a good coin to hold that already in the market or just buy bitcoin and hold it halving is near it will give you good profit this year surely.

You really have to be careful with ico, lately nobody invest on ico project anymore and because of this, it is very difficult for them to raise funds to develop their project (the genuine ones),
Hence many project result to conducting ieo through exchange, ieo's also have their flaws as not many of them have been able to deliver, if you are interested in participating in any ieo, better to join that of a reputable exchange, in this case you have to do your own research and know exchange is best suit your ieo need, as their are different exchange requirements to join ieo.

Honestly, there has been no good ICO in the last 1 year, I have never seen any successful ICO and helped investors get profit. You should join IEO because it will be a lot safer and make you more profitable

ICO? ICO is dead and long forgotten because there has not been any ICO for a long time now. During the time of ICOs there were many scams which is why IEO came and took over. Hence, if you want to participate in any fundraising method, go for IEOs and more especially, those on top exchanges as they offer a bigger chance of success. In addition, the market is flooded with bullshit coins with only few good ones therefore endeavour to make your findings about any coin as well as IEO as the case may be.

I still believe that there are few good and legit ICO there but you should not dwell in hope with it anymore. Because, you have to exert time and effort looking for one, researching the things that lies with that ICO.

or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?
This is also a fact although, there will be few rare projects that you might meet along your way looking for one.

Yes there are.

You may ask members here what could be the best ICO but how to avoid them?
It's all on you.
The research is also on you.
We may give you a lot of options on what to pick but you cannot just blindly decide to invest into something just because someone told you so.

Do not worry about ICO now can they aren't available anymore, new developers now use IEO (initial exchange offering) instead, to avoid IEO scam you must not join any IEO that is planned on small exchanges, go to the following exchanges for good end results
1. Binance
2. Okex
3. kucoin
4. Huobi
5. Gate.io

ICOs haven't been performing well since IEO got introduced and it isn't advisable to buy into them. Investing into IEOs is also risky but with the right exchange, the chances of losing is very slim. Exchanges like Binance, Gate.io have a good record.

ICOs aren't successful anymore, I don't expect any new project to use ICO for fundraising because I'm sure it will take them years to raise money successful, things will be extremely slow because people don't have interest in ICO projects anymore, do some research on IEO instead

Forget ICO and focus more on IEO, they work better and faster, many good investors are on top exchanges and top exchanges have better Liquidity and volumes, that's why coins do 5x easily, IEO projects are always successful on big exchanges, no one invest in ICO anymore

A new project that listed on the IEO launchpad was including on the ICO and after it has already listed on the launchpad and it will be called as IEO project.
You must know the differences and basically the exchange site's launch pad is the only difference.

IEO is still the same with ico but with guarantee to get instant listing.

The fastest way for you to avoid scam ICOs is to not invest in them, there are so many bullshit projects in this market. And new projects are becoming more sophisticated and making it difficult for us to see them as scams. You just need to go to coinmarketcap and buy the top altcoins there

If you want to take part in any project, I will suggest you do so in exchange platforms that are known to be highly reputation and have history of zero tolerance for scam so I suppose you will understand I'm talking on exchange such as the binance. Ones they have new project you will find it on their launchpad

All ICOs are now scams, so never trust them. Surely they will become scams after completing the ICO, I have seen a lot of projects like that and they are not worth our investment.

Hi, guys, I want to ask how do I avoid ICO scams...

The way to avoid fraud on the ICO is to make as detailed a research as possible on that ICO, and what you should know is that at this time there are no more people who trust ICO, because now there is something better than ICO, namely IEO which is on a good exchange or the top exchange.

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?

For the time being a good ICO is very rarely seen, because the Project developers have used the IEO model of fund raising in the Exchange, so this has made the ICO sink, and not all of them are flooded with bullshit coins, because there are still too many coins and a good token to own and trade.

Many ICO websites have raised a good amount of funds and decided to go scam on the last minute, it's such a shame.
And because of that, now there are very few people who like ICO, because there are so many scams that occur in ICO, so people today prefer IEO on the top exchange rather than ICO who often experience scams at the end.

If you want to avoid ICO scam never join in any of the project under by the ICO,
because even IEO are not assurance for us to earn good 100%, because before IEO was very popular and
better rather ICO but not anymore due to IEO style now was already the same as the ICO did.

I never heard of ICO's these day it is long gone. Now we have IEO or Initial exchange offering, it better than ICO because it is held on the exchange directly and after than it will be listed on the same exchange. But be careful IEO is only good on reputable exchanges like binance. Don't ever join a tokensale on not well-known exchanges. I heard some sh*t exchange gone exit scam after raising a decent amount on IEO and some of it are dump 90% after it was listed not really good.

This thread is reminding me of my newbie era and at the time I was trying hard to make double profit just by buying a coin and hodling then at the time of listing, I will be very rich... Lol. That never happened rather it was a scam. I won't be scammed again by ICO. I will wait to buy in exchange so I have my coin sent to my wallet.

ICO is still popping up, but as far as I know, there is less interest from investors, so there are often many failures, so now I am turning to IEO, which is funded by the bourse.
But we cannot determine which ICO is good because every project is always different in its actions for scams.

The best way to avoid ICO is to not participate there by anyhow! ICO idea is totally dead, no ICO made success this year and only 3 ICO succeed last year and their ROI was zero except Ferrum! So, don't fall in a scam by investing in ICO projects. Some ICO projects are running now, but if you invest there, your money will be gone! Better collect enough money and participate in the top exchange's IEO!

Just do you own search. I would be very careful with ICOs, but you can use IEOs as alternative. Binance is hardly offering scam projects for its clients, so just try to take part in those. Moreover, they are almost always profitable.

Most ICO are scam and failed right now (even they are conduct on exchange - we called IEO), you need to do research and due diligence before you take consideration to invest in ICO/tokensale.

Are there any good ICO's left?
Personally i'm only interesting and participate in token sale that conducted on major exchange like binance, houbi exchange and coinlist.
Most past tokensale conducted on platform above is success!

lets take example from coinlist platform:

If you want to stay away from scam ICOs, you need to have enough knowledge to make analysis about the crypto project on your own for that you may need extensive technical skill and also other skills, so invest only after you know that is a good project to be invested.

99% of them are shitcoins so try your luck on the remaining 1%? I will say gambling has better probability of giving returns compared to ICO investments.

I don't think Legit IcoS are what you should be asking for as the time of the ICOs are over, they don't sell no more as market have already had a peak of it. However, project turns to IEO now, Initial Exchange Offering which gives them the advantage of leveraging investors and traders addicted to such exchanges. However, IEO projects do fail too and they have lots of scam of them but when you keep tab on prominent exchanges, the chances of success is high

It is not good advice to rush investing in the new ICOs due to the current market situation and the lockdown consequences on the global financial markets. IEO is safer than any other form of token sales but you need to have verified exchanges account for being a participant on the IEO. Check Binance and Bitforex, stay away from ICOs if you have no idea how to deal with the scam.

Believe me, good ICOs are slim and very rare. Even most of these ICO reveiw websites are full of shitty and scam ICOs. Is it not better you invest in coins or projects already in the market? The days of good ICO is gone. Do your diligent researches before investing in any project.

Generally ICO is a risky game now but irrespective of how scammers have invaded in Cryptocurrency there are still few ICOs but I won't advice anyone to buy instead do your research more before investing as many are there to scam and the good ones have been affected because people are more scared of ICO than IEO. Do your research before you buy.

Currently most of the icos are scams. Some of these icos are good, and finding good icos is a difficult task. If you are really interested in investing in ico, I will tell you to do good research before investing. Ieo trending is going on now which is almost at an end. IEO may be good for you, but first you have to look at which exchange is listed. Because now almost all exchanges launch ieo which is another money taking system. So you can join ieo of reputable exchange and avoid scam ico.

Yes, ICO is a scam! It was a golden goose in 2017 but nowadays it's a way to burn/waste your money. Never invest in any kind of ICO projects. That's the way to avoid such scam procedure!  Why do you invest actually? To make a profit? Then ignore ICO, STO, All the shit exchange's IEO! Buy the top altcoins, or buy the top exchange's IEO.

By not joining ICO. :D
The popularity of ICOs has really declined, investor confidence has diminished as many ICOs have failed. However, that does not mean there is no hope, there is still a legitimate ICO, but it is very difficult to predict, let alone the scammers are increasingly good at hiding their falseness. Therefore, you must really understand that the risk to join an ICO is huge.
https://i.postimg.cc/RZs7hZPv/ico-sukses.jpghttps://t.me/ico_analytic/1673

If you really want to be an early investor, it's better to join IEO held in a trusted global exchange. Please join in each of the official telegram channels, the information is always updated so you can prepare.

How did you conclude that Bittrex is good? By searching in the Scam Accusation board of this forum, Bittrex has a lot of complaints against it (frozen accounts/enforce kyc/worst support...). This why it is less rated than other exchanges, not only here in forum. Back to old days, it was one of the fewest available exchanges, so many started with it and it was well rated.
I think binance is secure enough, but we should always remember that we have to trust the exchange with our money if we want to use it, and this still remains risky as almost all exchanges are backed by a centralised company even if it's a decentralised one .

Maybe you should stop looking for a good ICO. You would just be wasting you time over here. The market is actually flooded with all bullshit projects that either makes no sense or they put forward an idea that is actually impossible to achieve. Most of them are here to collect money and never to be found again. They are just made for scamming people.
The best way to avoid ICO scam is to avoid all kinds of ICO.

ICO is no longer in vogue. if any project team should come up now to say they are launching an ICO, know that it is a total scam. Instead of ICO, we now have IEO. In spite of that, there are still scam IEO, but it is much better than ICO if done on a reputable exchange.
Do not forget, it is just a change of name, still the same set of projects coming in, but the difference is that exchanges are standing in the gap, to hold investors' fund.

Because scammers can easily create websites for fundraising, but can't cheat and can't easily work with trusted exchanges. So to protect their funds, investors prefer to invest with joining IEO on a trusted exchange. At least the greater market interest when listing on large exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobi, thus increasing demand, this has the opportunity to achieve ROI several times.

The best option to avoid ICO scams is by never joining in ICOs anymore. It is difficult to understand the current condition in ICOs, too many scams & failed projects. I don't judge there is no good ICOs again, but it is like looking for gravel in the desert. I rarely saw good ICOs, most good coins come from IEOs currently. This leads investors to prefer buying coins on IEOs, while a lack of interest by them on ICOs.

Unfortunately when you invest in an ICO you are completely at the mercy of the honesty of the people behind the project. I would recommend that if you do invest in an ICO you find out a lot about the people involved and ask them some very hard questions before you invest. Make sure they are who they say they are and that they actually have the skills and track record of success that will give you confidence they will be able to complete the project and manage investors funds properly. You would be amazed at the number of ICO's that raised large sums of money on the back of an empty Github and a flashy website and then disappeared with investors money.

Never participated. Thats how effective you cant be harmed by any of these ICOs. Those who just kepy joining just gonna have some complaed later on. Regarding the second question, Im not sure if there are still legit project lefts that conducting ICO. Most investors prefered now the new process of IEO and in my honest opinion, this is the safest way if we wanted to invest on new projects. Market have really flooded with shitcoins and even the selfdrop projects before that have become a hype still existing.

it's very rare for an ICO to be truly successful for now. people tend to choose IEO over ICO. in addition, IEO is also clearer than ICO. however, if there are projects that interest you, try to ensure that the sales system is IEO, and they sell at a popular exchange.

To start with, the market is littered and flooded with bullshit and useless coins with no good utility at all. Many coins are just copying from those that are already in place hence one of the reasons why after listing the price will continue dropping till it becomes worthless while the team will do nothing to revert the situation. Also, as for ICO scams, the best way to avoid them is avoiding ICOs completely, because so far the team will always be in charge of funds generated first, they will always have the opportunity to carry out a whole lot of unfriendly behaviours such as exit scam, not listing, listing on bad exchanges and so on. But with IEO, at least the investor will decide based on the exchange it is listing on.

It's really difficult to trust any ICO nowadays. While there are still some who were not scam ICO, but I wonder if their token will become worthy in the market. Maybe, you can divert to the other things aside from focusing on seeking which ICO to be joined.

Hence, you can still spot if the ICO is scam or not. You may check this;

To avoid losing your money or if you do not want to lost it the better you do is to not invest to ICO yes they have still legit but we can't determine the real one because most of them are scam and we knew that.

Better to find other ways of earning just leave ICO it will waste your time and money , don't invest so the ICO scammer will not create more scam project because the reason why they do that is because there are many people are still investing.

I do agree,
there's too much good to be true projects out there, determining the legit one is really hard wherein you will lose your money in just a small wrong decision. Avoiding ICO is the best option right now because even those project that was said to be a good one end up being a scam project.

Avoid the ico itself. Even if there are some ico that is still legit, there is no guarantee that it will succeed. As you can see, everyone knows here that most ico is a scam and it only explains that avoiding scam ico would be difficult.

It's easy to avoid ICO scams, don't invest with any of the projects that you see in here or out there. You know the answer ;D

That will prevent you from getting scam by the projects so you can use your money to another thing. You can use it for trading and invest in bitcoin as the best coins in the crypto.

I suggest at this time not to invest in ICO because there are many projects that launch ICO scams, it's better if you want to invest in new projects try to join IEO top exchange that has a good reputation or you can buy a top 100 coin marketcap because of the risk to exposed to a small scam.

No ICOs are legal, almost all ICOs are copied and plagiarized from other projects. That's the reason why ICOs are dead like they are now. Don't waste time on ICOs because I believe we will never get profit from it

Not many new projects are doing ICO at this time because most have chosen the IEO method to sell tokens. In my opinion, not all IEOs are good and not all ICOs are bad and the most important thing before investing is doing research about the project being done and also the team behind the project

Even though they have used the fundraising method with a new method that has the name IEO but there are still many who use it to conduct scams, many cases occur in some places of exchange that have a bad reputation, they do IEO but are not responsible for the price movement and end up with scam

I used to monitor icobench when ICO era was still booming to know which ICO has the best rating, but after a while, it's  obvious that some of these ico ranking sites get paid to give good rating. I think ICODROPS mentioned already has been very cool so far, even with crypto updates, i still follow them on twitter. However, i can't remember the last time I participated in ICO. It's true that there are many shitcoins nowadays, almost 90% of ICO projects are scams. So if you want to invest in ICO projects you have
to be careful in choosing projects, do in-depth research so you can find good ICO projects. But my advice should be to invest in IEO projects
are better than ICO projects. Because IEO projects are definitely included in exchanges, they are more effective and profitable. And choose
trusted and popular exchanges, such as binance, okex, huobi and kucoin.

To avoid investing in fraudulent ICO projects, you must do research on the project development team, so that every good ICO must have experts and professionals who have experience in the crypto and blockchain world. Each legitimate ICO project also contains a complete Whitepaper.

research is indeed needed. however, what remains of ICO at this time? people are currently focused on IEO, and its potential is better. however, it is very difficult to choose an ICO that really works well now, even when you are doing research. from year to year, the potential of ICO has begun to sink, and we even know that if a developer is serious about developing a project, then he will choose IEO over ICO.

There are many things, why member trying to join in IEO or ICO. One of that reason is a bonus offer for ICO/IEO participants. They are thinking if join in ICO/IEO get 20% bonuses, coin or token price going up 20%, they will get lots of profit because of this. It will different if they are buying current existing coins/token, when price increases 20%, since no bonus for buying, they are just getting 20% profits. People want to be a millionaire very fast, but they are do not really know how play safe in invest or trade crypto. This is just one example, another condition, of course, will be happening that making a member join in ICO/IEO. I don't say all of the ICO/IEO project will become a scammer, but sometimes member just looking for a huge profit before considering the risk behind.

Every big IEO exchange really works like that. Maybe they dont run yet lottery like other exchanges. How come MXC becomes a big exchange? As far as I know this is not good exchange too. I just realized that they conducted IEO when just project has been launched. Poloniex is an old exchange even though they are just new to IEO and this is their first time, I know that  they still have a lots of investors and traders that will joined even their upcoming IEOs.

with the latest developments IEO indeed aims to update and improve with a more reliable goal. but if you look at its development it seems that what you say is the truth. IEO's investment in a bad exchange site cannot solve the things that happened when ICO began to be abandoned because of a lot of fraud.
but the reality is that many IEOs are starting to follow suit like ICO, so it seems that this dilemma continues.
I agree that if I participate in IEO, it should be on a proven exchange site to reduce dishonesty. but once again IEO is also not a guarantee and still must be analyzed properly.

I think it's best to just invest on established coins or bitcoin, the risk is so high if you invest on ico's right now, there's a high chance the price will take a nosedive after hitting the market because of investors looking to make a quick profit. You can also invest in rising coins if you're willing to take the risk.

There are still some projects that conducted ICO's became successful but let's be honest ICO as a way to raise founds is slowly dying or has already died off, but Holding an IEO does not necessarily mean that it would 100% success wether it is in good and reputable exchange it still depends how the marketing will go.

Nice reason, why we see so many ICOs - BitCoin could do it all - no other coin needed

but - that stream got blocked and ppl HAD to fork off / or let btc softly fork off, depends how you sse it (legal eyes, illegal eyes,...)

The reason

Honestly, saying there has been no good ICO in the last 2 year except some few one's . If you wanted to earn something the better option for investing in CMC top 20 coins which are good enough for you 2nd is IEO also a good option . Please do your own research before invest  any coin . Thanks

It is really tough to see a good ico these days as the existing ico projects which launched during 2018  are finding it tough to get through the ever lasting crypto winter but there are some genuine projects if you research carefully.
Never ever try to participate in ICO projects again because it is not worth it anymore even you participate in a long period projects. So if you are still interested to participate in bounty campaigns you should only try IEO, even there are some scam projects there, but some of it are legitimate and you can still accept good rewards from them.

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?

Actually, there are only few ICOs exist nowadays because peoples already lost interest in ICO.
You may investing in IEO instead of ICO for now, it is better than ICO. In IEO, the exchange that list the project already done their research on the project so they can verify the project is not scam, hopefully.

I think we shouldn't talk about ICOs because good time for ICOs is over already. Maybe a few good ICOs sre available but It's really a tought time to decide which one is good & which one is bad. I think IEOs is good for now, although IEOs also start cheating with people by showing fake volume, so is happened cause team is manipulating price of their token

If you want to avoid ICO scams then you have to start researching about the ICO's because most of the time people directly make contact with ICO's without researching more about it. If you check their team as well as white paper you will eventually get genuine ICO's, just taking this kind of actions will help to avoid ICO scams.

I can't even get what you are saying on your last statement. What's the differences between ico and ico? Are you drunk?

when IEO first started appearing all hoped that there would be improvements compared to ICO. but with the passage of time both IEO and ICO are the same, indeed the mentality of people who run is only oriented to profit alone without the goal of wanting to develop.
there should be cooperation between all parties so that people who want to misbehave can be stopped by giving accurate information to each other. so that every thing made is not supported by investors and all parties, so that they will be affected by the work that is in vain.

ICO is now dead because of scam project and also for not fundraising, this time people talk about IEO but IEO successful for binance, okex, kucoin, other exchange are just doing IEO but not successful.
The bolded three are not the only exchanges conducting successful IEOs. There are still other outstanding ones. Today, people are also looking at IEOs on Gate.io, Huobi and some others that I may not continue to mentions.
However, there are shit exchanges where you can ave the worse ever. Most of them are scam exchanges and they will not hesitate to promote scam projects. They are birds of same feathers, who flock together.

1. To answer the first question; the best and sincerely only way to avoid ICO scams is by not listening to them let alone investing at all. The risks in ICOs is too much for one to even try, hence the reason it is better to stay away from them.
2. To answer the second question; many bullshit coins are still coming up every now and then while only a few ones are good enough to invest in. That is to say, in all ways, ensure to carefully research on every project to make the best decisions.

This is the only way not to be screwed by these crowdsourcing projects.
I tried before and got burned, learned my lesson well.
Just invest on existing alts or even in btc, at least you know, they are always in the market.

At the beginning of the ICO launch, it was indeed very difficult for us to distinguish between scams or not. Because scams often occur mid or when ICO is finished. But if the coins have been listed in exchange, and you feel the coins will not survive well, then immediately sell and leave them. Maybe for other solutions there isn't. Only crypto experts are able to distinguish this problem.

Hello, I guess there are ICOs that you can tell whether it is a scam or not like if the ICOs lacks information in their project, not having a good manager and not active social media accounts there's a big chance that it is a scam so it would be best to avoid joining from it. There is also an ICO like KingCasino where you can see the potential coin but ended a scam so prepare for it and it would be best to be patient always in joining a good ICO because one day you can find a successful ICO just don't give up for it.

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?
I guess there are few good ICO's left this days just be patient to join legitimate ones and avoid fishy ICOs at once.

It's not so simple as that, I should remind you that even there was a lot of legit icos that looked very promising before it has turned into the scam coin. I guess it's better to see that from the reputation and try to verify whether if that was a real or team.

not that short, many projects have websites with [secure] but end up with a scam, if offering something that doesn't make sense then I agree with you because it's clearly a scam, besides that we also have to verify the team and see the goals of the project [learn whitepaper]

I'm yet to understand why people still invest in ICO. From the little information I have, I don't see ICO's to be lucrative. Most of the project don't get their softcap and several others tend to abandon the project after getting what they want. In several occasions, projects tend to list their tokens far below the ICO price, making it unprofitable for investors to sell. I would rather wait for the project to list and buy at the low price, than invest in the ICO.

1. First of all, avoid ICO projects, they aren't recognized anymore
2. Do research on IEO projects, they are more attractive to investors
3. The only downside of IEO projects is low rated exchanges, stay away from small or bad exchanges because they always have negative impact on new projects
4. Top exchanges are the best, choose from IEO projects that lands on binance, gate, kucoin or huobi

Actually even though they scam they do it very smartly, I mean when you invest in token sales you are investing in the idea and the project not the value of the token and there is a clause I believe according to SEC or something like that I don't remember it clearly.
So, these scammers would almost fulfill all they promised by paying a tier-3 exchange some money and get their tokens listed and somehow carry out the roadmap they planned in a distorted manner so that you cannot file a claim against them.

People investing in token sales need to understand that there is no way they invest in a coin whose team is unknown and have no credibility behind them also don't be to the first to invest in a sale just watch how it pans out and don't let the FOMO take control over you, you will get enough chances to invest.

There are many ways you can avoid ICO scam. You can follow up on telegram to see what people are saying about  the project, you can also check on forum to see the level of acceptability of that project, you can also check review of such project on the internet, you can so background check on each team member.
Telegram is so easy to manipulate and control now a days that you hire a marketing team whose job is to create a fake positive environment by posting good all day about the project and hence you don't know whether the hype and positiveness around the ICO is real or self created.

I agree with the other ways you mentioned that is to check the team working behind the ICO and actually verify their linkedin and other sources because a lot of scam ICOs are now using fake IDs and people just check profile and believe them but do make sure they are actually linked with the ICO or not.

Another good way is to read the whitepaper but you must have the ability to understand what is too good to be true and if the project is promising too much then just make sure they have the proper plans to back it up or they are just luring out investors into the trap.

You are right. Most ICOs are no longer trustable and too risky investing our funds there. Even there is a trustable ICO, but they were only a few of ICOs and rarely appeared. Well, the best option is participating in IEOs. But ensure that the exchange can be trustable and has a good reputation. Binance, Bittrex, or Kucoin are examples of trustable places for IEOs. While Latoken, P2PB2B, and other small exchanges are not really trustable places for IEOs. However, even it is a trusted exchange, we are better to do more research as the future of that new coins don't depend on the IEOs only.

Why wait for the bounty to finish? after all, not all ICO projects have a bounty campaign.
Investors will definitely focus more on analyzing the product and usefulness of the project rather than just paying attention to the bounty. In addition, investors believe that IEO is handled by trusted exchange such as Binance for the current investment strategy, while Ico has a very big risk.

There are many ways you can avoid ICO scam.
If you guys are smart enough then you should kno what should be done to check if the ICO is a scam project.

1. Search thoroughly the team behind the project, this is what matters the most for when you check for the project because the team is the heart of the project. It matters when they a degrees related to run and handle a project, not just because they said it on LinkedIn.

2. The project aim. There are lots of project these days but are the long term? is the purpose beneficial for the crypto? is it going to be a huge deal? this is what I look for the project goal.

3. Whitepaper. You'll see a lot of copied whitepaper, if you see one leave that project alone.

You can follow up on telegram to see what people are saying about  the project, you can also check on forum to see the level of acceptability of that project, you can also check review of such project on the internet, you can so background check on each team member.
Yeah, you can join such groups that is wanting to invest on those projects so you can see their opinions about it. The reviews on the internet? I don't trust them, you can actually pay someone to do a positive review with everything.

There are still good ICOs for now, but they are developing with a variety of shitcoins that are currently busy at Uniswap. It's the same as in 2018 when during the ico project only targeted the presale and list market and after that, they disappeared.
in Uniswap many projects like that we can buy at presale and sell on Uniswap will get the maximum profit if the token gets FOMO.

All the points you mentioned are because you invested in the wrong ICO and that is why the question is how to identify the real coin sales and avoiding the fake ones which are only meant to raise funds pay a small exchange and then just run away with no further updates, I still have bad memories with Flux Token .. they just never worked on it :-\.

People from this community do see one member's success with ICO and they want to copy similar profits so they do start risking their hard earned money with next available ICO with doing enough due diligence. This is what usually happens on most ICO as far as I have seen. This simply helps scam ICO to enjoy easy money.

Try to study the project first before deciding to join. Simply put, a scam project can be seen from its insecure website (Http), offering very high and unreasonable profits, a company whose identity is not clear, and false news that supports it.
Having SSL is not a big deal but yeah it is one of the minor points to keep in mind but not having https doesn't mean too bad either if the project is new because remember when primedice initially launched they didn't had the SSL but they worked it out once they realize their gamblers want that to be implemented.

I don't see any good ICOs right now, mostly fake and scam. Do not waste your time and money on ICO projects, if you want, go to the major exchanges and participate in IEO

Are there any good ICO's left?
None. ICO is dead, new projects using IEO and STO or crowdfund to get money for the purpose of development. Even though you are guaranteed to get your coins with this scheme but the profit you can get is not guaranteed or I would say it's 50:50 but most of them are pretty bad if you look at the market.

or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?
Most of bullshit coins came from unfinished IEO and shit devs/teams, you can go with top altcoins which is the safer option but if you dig to deep mostly you will find the shit one.

I am very sad if the ICO is currently a lot of scams, because it will also affect the income at Bounty, I left the bounty for 3 months already, and joined this month because I saw HOMT, before I traded because there were a lot of bounty and scams ICO
It has already happened since a long time ago but it's slowly but sure the scam projects become even less from the time to the time. You can try to check the market and a lot of investors have become smart investors and they can avoid the scam bounty easily.

The entire crypto market has had enough of ico scam and bullshit and even the developers are aware of it, reason why all of them are choosing IEO instead of ico for raising funds. I think you should forget about icos too and focus on IEOs on reputable exchanges if at all you are most interested in investing in start-up projects

very difficult to identify ico scam. we can only see it when the bounty is over, and see how the developper will manage the project. because at the end of this ico period is the most important moment, namely distribution and also token listing.
it's not so difficult thing as long as you must try to see what already experienced by others with the scam icos. So many people have been mentioning the right point about what you should take a look at before try to invest in the ico.
The scam ico will always offer too good to be true idea.
Yes. Do not be easily lured by those too good to be true promises or else you will end up being scammed too. I think the best way to avoid scam ICOs is still making a deep research on the background of the project. If you cannot do it, then better stay away from investing in ICOs and invest only in bitcoin which i'm sure you can totally make profit from it.

The trends in the crypto world are always changing. For now, IEO is more popular than ICO, everyone knows that IEO provides better guarantees to get profit now than ICO, because ICO is often used by scammers to commit fraud. To get profit, we must realize that every method and strategy has risks, it cannot be avoided, we only need to minimize them. Joining IEO can be very profitable if we understand the right timing, most of the coins or tokens after physical day trading have decreased significantly, see? we must choose the right timing.

To answer the first question, I don't think anyone can pinpoint a good ICO because once that generated funds is within the care of the team they will likely have unfriendly ideas, therefore in essence, the only way I think one can avoid ICO scams is by forgetting about them entirely. For the second question, I have not heard nor come across any ICO for a long time now, hence that shows there is none left. But however, some of the new projects carrying out IEO tends to be bullshit projects because looking at them, there is nothing good that can be seen within them.

Why ICO projects are not popular and are no longer in demand, the main reason is because many ICO projects are scams. Then starting in 2019
the world of cryptocurrency investment is changing. More popular IEO projects for now, not because there are no IEO projects scams. But the
percentage of IEO scams projects is smaller than ICO projects. Moreover, IEO projects are safer, because tokens are certain listing on exchanges.
We just need to choose popular and trusted exchanges for investment in IEO projects.

For the past year there have been no successful ICOs. And even then they have raised the funds of the investors and then there was no news or cheats. Since ICO is no longer available, it is better for you to join IEO, that it is more feasible and safer, and can also benefit you.

You're right! I don't think there is someone willing to invest in ICO at this point of time since there are so many scammed one in the past few years. IEO is a better and safer method to invest in. However, we need to be aware that every kind of investment contains a risk of losing your capital. Therefore, we should do research carefully to choose which IEO projects to invest in.

2020 is a bad year for altcoins, so you don't need to focus on investing in new projects. Just buy the top altcoins in this market because their prices have dropped many times. This is when you should fill your pocket with the best altcoins
2019-2020 is exactly the same as altcoin with a new project. Nothing is better than the old project. They don't last long because there are less enthusiasts from the exchange, so their altcoin doesn't have volume in trading, and that too much has happened, so I think it's not right to invest now. in altcoin.

Recently people started participating in ICOs with DEFI hype. However, its good to know how crypto investors have become wiser, unlike before when scams were alarming. Proper research before investing in any project is not a new phrase, but yet some people still invest even without checking if the team is genuine. A friend lost 300$ last week, he bought into a scam presale of an acclaimed DEFI project on telegram.

better still since ICO seem to had almost gone, most projects get a private sale, although they mostly get inside information so as to partake. They have access to more token at ridiculous discount price but they are strict regulations to hold the token for long time to preserve the price. Most of the IEO aside the rigor of winning the exchange demands they spend also to get on those exchanges, fund which are raised from private sales.

The interest in ICO is decreasing. Investors don't want the failure to happen again like in 2018 where more ICOs are scamming, so many are turning to IEO, even at that time the market has gone down badly because of those who continue to commit fraud against investors and I think now they have which is the best to make future investments.

You are right. I rarely see any project bear that name called ICo, because they know that, mere seeing that by any in*vestor, it is already a warning sign. The experiences of people have made then run awat=y from ICO. However, that a project is not called an ICO, does not mean it has been exonerated fro being called a scam project. One just have to be mindful and know what big exchanges look like, so as to choose carefully.

Did you notice the cryptocurrency situation is still bad for new projects? In real life when you have low money, you are ready to check everything. Here is some problem of IEO, very low sell target on top exchange and later dump the price by team, don't care about investor or hunters and last one is fake volume on exchange without investor (and hunters).

Some go to the ICOs and the rest were also going to the IEOs too. The projects will be choosing what will be the best way for themselves to raise the funds from the investors. If that was having a good fundamental and that will choose ico but when it needs exchange support and it will go for IEO.

It will ensure the listing of the token. Find a project that will run their IEO in any reputable exchange and invest in that project if you find it useful. Scam project doesn't list in top exchnage.
Right! ICO is not even a choice for me right now. I refuse to join any ICO projects because I have been fooled too many times in the past. I involved in a lot of ICO scam projects that make me lost all of the faith in them. Right now, I would choose to invest in IEO projects if there's a good one. ICO gives the investors an easy decision not to choose them. As you can see, there no longer interested in investing to them. We can't blame them not to trust the ICO anymore. IEO is a good way to start a new start ahead of creating a new experience in promoting and investing in newly cryptocurrency. There still some projects deserve to recognize and need to support. Not everyone is the same as always. The process of choosing the right exchange partnership really gives an advantage to a certain project. The uniqueness and product itself could determine the capability of the project if it will success or not.

I think that ICO is a relic of the past, since today investors are in demand for a safer investment principle and it is IEO that gives cryptocurrency users such opportunities. Cryptocurrency exchanges act as intermediaries between new projects and investors, so in this regard, investments in one way or another have certain protection. But if ICO companies were directly used by fraudsters to steal money from investors, then it seems to me that in the future we should expect a surge in the activity of new fraudulent projects that will develop trading platforms through which IEOs will be conducted in order to continue to deceive investors. Of course, today it is the top-rated cryptocurrency exchanges that conduct IEOs that are trusted, but only in the cryptocurrency market there are many people who, by their very nature, will participate even in dubious projects.

I think for now it's very rare to find a project that is really serious about running a business. I do not say scams. However, the seriousness of the developer is rarely found. They always give uncertain answers. There is even a project that illustrates the greatness is too excessive, but the conditions are not the case.

ICO, IEO, IDO or any of their variants, it's always good to do some findings on a project very well before participating in the tokensale. Never buy an ICO because of someone shilling it, I've been burned severally on this during the ICO frenzy of 2017 and the aftermath. As k questions from the team, check their history, verify their acclaimed partnerships, and after all said and done, never invest more than you can afford to lose. Because many projects do have great Whitepaper but poor product delivery.

There is no right way to get rid of a SCAM project on this forum, but you can still avoid it by doing detailed research about the project you want to participate in. be it the project work map, the products they offer, partners or the project team & developer background. keep in mind that almost most ICO projects look real, and you need to consider a hundred times before joining or investing in them.

I would rather recommend IEO for an investment over ICOs, try looking for ICOs that have real addresses and you know one of the developers who has a good track record. ICO projects contain a greater risk of scam than IEO projects. In comparison between ICO and IEO, I would say IEO is way better than ICO. We just need to invest in those IEO projects that are listed on large exchanges only to reduce the risk. However, personally, ICO project is not even a choice for me anymore. ICO's are not reliable to earn anymore because of scam and lose its credibility. So yes IEO is way better as long as you chose a reputable exchange. But there's no guarantee to earn because every investment has risk thus we must be prepared for it and conduct a research to have an understanding about crypto investment.

You can't really say if it's legit or not by just looking at the bounty thread. You must do your own research. I sometimes join bounties only from reputable bounty managers. That way I can ensure that the bounty is managed properly, and have a sort of assurance that we as bounty hunters will be paid properly.

Sometimes research alone is not enough to avoid ico scams. Sometimes icos that don’t get a soft cap can be abandoned by their developers, which will eventually disappoint investors and bounty hunters. Although at first the project did not intend to scam. They just don’t have the funds.

Hi, guys, I want to ask how do I avoid ICO scams...

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?

not all The IEOs will give you the profit after the investment. most of their price are dumped after being traded, even they traded in some big and good exchangers. there are still some legit ICOs there, just choose the projects wisely.
