If I were to buy ETH, I'll wait until the Bitcoin price stabilizes. Even though I hear some influencers claim ALTs season, I wouldn't dare to jump into altcoins when Bitcoin is pumping or dumping. Around halving period, there will be lots of manipulation involved in the Bitcoin prices, so I will not jump into ALTs anytime soon. Maybe I'll think of ALTs by the end of the year.

Buy when it reds because people will surely switch up to btc due to halving event or most people will really consider to put up investments into btc since they do know or do have that in mind that it can give out profits
due to hype or some sort and in result they will really pull off their alt investments which will in result into dip of prices.You should really be wise on making decisions on when to get in and to get out when you are already in gains.Asking on when? look for opportunity but its still like a gamble though because we cant tell if ETH will correlate with btc's price in the time it would tend to rise up.
So its a matter of choice though.

If you are planning to enter ETH then it is best to enter when the market goes down, if you are waiting for the market to go down further then good luck with that. The possibility of a major crash is highly unlikely and with the halving approaching we might see the crypto market especially bitcoin trying to move higher.
If you are looking to make a quick profit then it is better to enter bitcoin and as an investor the choice is yours. Since you are new here hope you understand that he halving is taking place only in bitcoin and its fork coins and not in other coins.

I have bought that when it has already reached the bottom price and im only waiting for the next update that will be implemented. I don't even think if people will bet on ethereum caused by the halving and i guess people will buy ethereum anytime before the next update (pos ethereum) will come in the future.

I tryna to bet on the serenity update and what price level is not so important for me to buy right now consider im aiming to be a validator in the POS network in the future, I guess i will be adding (buy) more ethereum after halving consider at that time there will be a correction cycle that will make cryptos god dumped again back to the lowest rate.

If there is somebody wants to buy ETH, in my humble estimation it is just the best time to collect ETH. That is why if you make some research about ETH, you can see ETH price is just lower than a few days ago. But no doubt this price will change and can higher than at the moment. It is just a great method to buy any coin at a low price and wait till price increases.

Impossible to time the market for a single or dual buy. If you want to accumulate Eth then buy it with dollar cost averaging (DCA). Don't blow your stack all at once. Ride the averages, don't gamble on the low or high. You want the trend to help you build your wealth, you don't need the jackpot.

Not for a really long time for me, been practically all in on btc for a while. I do add a bit of Monero and Litecoin every now and then but that's more like using up change from usdt or other bitcoin I get. ETH I'm actually ok getting more later when 2.0 is up.

I have bought enough for me last year and also added some amount last march dump.

The rule of thumb is that you should always buy during dip, specially around - 10% drop.

So regardless if bitcoin will have its halving tomorrow or next month, you should always look at the chart and see how the price is moving. As far as I can remember, 80$ was the lowest low (LL) that ETH had in the last 2 years, so that is the best time to buy ETH. However, < $200 is a good price in my opinion today. The last all time high was more than $1k. So imagine if you buy today and wait till it reaches another ATH in the future so you will likely get x5 return or more.

If you are feeling sure about that and why there was no even a small increase in the price of ethereum right now. Halving is not everything that makes people can bet what they have.

You are right, Ethereum updates related to their network system are not on halving. bitcoin is now halving and the effect of that may occur in the next few weeks or months. when the investment market shows a growing demand, at that time the price of bitcoin can experience a pump.

If you observe the movements of BTC and ETH they are same pattern. So we can conclude that ETH follows the BTC movement trend. Today the market is positive BTC prices are rising, and followed by ETH. If you see ETH RSI and MACD TF 1D lines not cut yet, so be careful the price can go down. Eth has a lot of good news this year. But the price depends on Bitcoin, let Bitcoin be stable first. And it is difficult to say what will happen in the future. Anytime! with or without the halving! It is depending on how a trader or investor hold his/her coin/s or token/s. For me, ETH is somehow the same with BTC when it comes to reputation and value (not speaking about the price), it is worth a hold and as I said it depends on how you position your buy order and on how long are you going to hold into it.

Not bad entry price. Good for you, I bought it around $230 and still have some loss on its current price but of course I am not losing hope. When it becomes affordable and you know that there's a possibility on it to make profits even not constantly, For me that's the right time.  because indeed  since there's no rapid growth on the market much better to find another ways wherein at least theres a small return after all the efforts we put on it. .

My intention is I will sell my ETH when its new system (ETH 2.0) is released although I've got profit if I sell now. So that is depend on your intention, if you choose for short term investment you need to know the right time to buy, usually if you know about trading strategy you will automatically now it. But when your intention is for long term investment you are okay if you buy now and sell them when you got profit.

Wait for ETH to fall to the prices of $ 175 and $ 155 to buy more. There are two levels of support which are quite strong and we can divide the capital to buy ETH at these two areas. Because I think the market will have to collapse again to lose investor confidence, after that it can pump up so strongly that no one can buy at a good price. so we should set the order for these prices and if bought, then hold for 6 months. im not an eth hodler but i do sometimes buy eth when im going to transfer my tokens or to play gambling  and there is no specific time for his    . high price or low price i dont care at all   .  to most people expecially if they are invester/hodler , they could be buying eth before when halving does not begin yet because they thought that eth will pump along with btc after the halving   .

amount of coins. There are many coins I want to have, and I don't have money to buy how much I would
like from once.
