Getting set for the next push up in the crypto world i viewed the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap and i have identified about 5 different projects i am definitely going to get stocked up as the year goes by.

They are all selling at a very good price now. The best time to buy is now

What projects or cryptocurrencies are those? It is much better if you can share it here and we can discuss those cryptocurrencies.

Btw, be careful about buying some altcoins nowadays, because as you can see the Bitcoin dominance could break and smash some altcoins and they could lead to the dump.
I don't think buying some altcoins these days is good, especially Bitcoin is bullish.

It looks like we have a different opinion about this consider about these coins was traded at the peak of bullish trend. I may think if I need to wait until there will be at least a small corrections to enter the market t decrease the possibility for me to be trapped into the bulltrap.

There are lots of projects that currently have potentials now on coinmarketcap. Can I know what is your target projects to invest with OP?

The last bull trap really mess up the prices of altcoins due to massive bitcoin dump. So maybe a little patience to wait for the right time to purchase cheaper is a must. I am also waiting for the current dump of the altcoins like eth and xrp so I can bag some of these potential coins. I dont think somw new altcoins will be so bullish this year so better stick to those major coins only.

Why create this post if you aren't willing to share the name of these five different projects you talking about? This post doesn't make any sense, you telling others that this is the best time to buy unknown coins? Bravo! The only coins worth buying right now is Bitcoin and Ethereum and few on the top 10 list, going under top 10 is your decision which is a risky one so God luck with that

During this time I only invested in Bitcoin and some top coins like BNB, ETH, Dash because these are 3 options that tend to increase together. Of course, any investment needs to be carefully considered and depends on the market situation because if the market fluctuates, it will be very difficult for you to make a profit. In addition, this time you should consider investing in some new projects because those altcoins are often very easy to raise prices if people are interested.

it's up to you if you see it good to buy.  In fact every time is always a good time put money in the line,  especially through top 100 coin in CMC wherein even small profit is possible unless if you have more time to wait, because that's the common requirements when it comes investing in crypto wherein patience is a must always.

What are those projects? Can you share with us? And why didn't you buy them in early 2020? At that time, the price is much cheaper than the present Now is not the time to buy altcoins because it has increased too much in the past few months, if you want to buy now, I think you will lose in the short term.

Altcoins aren't that bullish yet and for some price are still down, so yes it's never too late to start buying if you have interest in altcoins, for me Bitcoin is still the safest crypto investment but the decision is left for the buyers, good altcoins on my list are BNB, OKB, Huobi (HT), Neo, I'm more into exchange tokens, that's a very good use case

if you know what you are doing, now is always the best time to buy
but, if you do not know, then you can stack in some coins without perspective, be cautions and do your own research prior to investment, always

Actually, we have more than 5 projects that can increase, but it is too difficult to identify the project because many projects will have the same potential to grow in this month or next month.

If the coins you're talking about is a really good project then dont hesitate and buy. However you need to conduct an extensive research before buying because not all projects that belong in top 10 of cmc are like those well established coins that has potential to grow and good for long term holding. If you're certain it can give you profit in the future then its your choice but dont forget to timing when to buy and that is when the price is declining.

for Altcoin I can say very precisely, but for Bitcoin you have to wait first,
because if the resistance at $ 10000 fails and cannot survive, then the price of Bitcoin will continue to go down

Great picks, I'd leave out NEO though, don't believe it will rebounce, but who knows lol.

So hard to trust a project coin to be honest.
Not all on the top rankings are genuinely deserve to be in top . Because some of them using money to buy their spot.
And with your opinion and a single source we cant trust it easily. 

Wait for Bitcoin to move, currently bitcoin is having difficulty surpassing $ 10,000, if it does not pass this price level in the next few days, then the price will surely collapse again. waiting for the best time to invest is hard and they can rarely occur  . you should not waste time and start to appreciate some little oppurtunities  . you said price isnt that high but isnt also the lowest which means price are on median level only  . thats  still okay to invest at that price point but you must also know that every coins have a different set of price . some are not on median but they are on the dump phase while other are still on pump but no doubt about top coins .

All the coins are equal in crypto market, so Bitcoin also perfect investment for trading and long term investment. Now days many peoples are invest in altcoin and tokens investment. In reality day trading make more profit and loss so continuous investors only survive in all the time. Every time it is good to invest in crypto but it depends on the level of crypto knowledge. However, people have a different purpose and understand in the crypto investment and with the current movement of the bitcoin market (it clinched $10K it dump back) i won't be surprised if some investors choose to sell their holding in other to buyback when the market dump cause the market seems to repeat it and was what makes some people believed the whales are behind it all.

Projects and coins aren't the same. I think you are talking about tokens.
Anyway, hope you did proper analysis before you start investing. And try to make this thread more informative. What are the reasons you think that the price is going to increase this month? Why did you choose those coins (you didn't even mention which tokens and coins you have invested on or interested). This way, you will be able to make proper discussion, and you might also get more suggestion based on your investmet.

You're absolutely right because almost 98% of all new projects are hype base projects and it will be hard to understand them now that the market is going green.

I guess he choose the coin/token because of its profit level and i will advise him to also put into consideration the crypto community support level and utility.

research of the projects has not brought many results recently. It is important to study the general market mood. if the project is good but the market is in a negative mood, then the price will fall all the time.

Im looking at cryptos less than a dollar. My top 5 picks are

My research has been done before i made the decision and projects like Ripple and Tron will go all the way

Finally, you mention that 5 projects. From number 1 until 4, I think that project has a big opportunity to increase soon if the bull run is coming. But for number five, I don't know because I think that project is a new project which needs to survive in the market so that project can slowly increase their popularity. But maybe number five can compete with the existing project, and the project can increase too.

It interesting but this dont occur in very occassiin and the reason the market is repeat the same trend is because we're in manipulation territory now. However, i believed it too early to buy now cause i expect the market to poses downtrend till atleast tomorrow.

Of course, you have to follow the project as well as the Bitcoin movement because the whole cryptocurrency market depends on the Bitcoin movement. Bitcoin currently dominates over 64%. The whole currency market is affected when Bitcoin is strong or weak.

Its very risky if your taking about the top 100 coins in the market. I'll go if its listed to top 20 in the market. Some of these coins are just got hype and then suddenly corrupted then vanished in the air. They become useless as the time goes by. Well, I think the market is still high just consider some instances, and don't try to buy now just wait a little bit of down in the market. Don't hesitate to invest in the top tokens in the market, its very cheap if were taking about the future purposes.

   In the past we have seen changes in top 20 coins, and in future there will be more changes. That means that some coins will drop from top 20 and some will rise, which
ones is something nobody can't predict. But we can try to invest in some lower ranked
coins and to have faith in them, when future comes some top coins will disappoint, but

i am looking at the long term profit. i want to buy and hold till i get at least a 10x of the price which i know will happen sooner or later. Its a long term investment

Easy to say but really hard to do specially if we do talk on choosing between top 100 coins.We do know that all do have potential on rising
its price specially when the market tend to shift but there are still no clear indications that we are already heading there thats why people are still
hesitant on re-accumulating just because they cant really avoid to think that the price might even go way more lower.Also, if people do like to
buy, not all would have the fund to do so. So when it comes to buying situation then it will vary on ones decision and capacity.

If we are talking about top 100 CMC and there were so many coins have already increased a lot more than 100% in just less than a week.
as long as the trend will remain bullish and it can go to the moon instantly but remember there will always be a correction again.

Some altcoins are really spiking this time, you might wanna grab some of these coins too just in case its abruptly going to shoot up that you won't have any cheap ones for you. I'd get more of the Cardano myself to prefer for the best time like staking time. I can see how ETHereum started and this ADA might just be one of the token that will outrank ETH.

altcoin price is not going down better still awaiting the right time to buy on the price down because I was worried bitcoin will drop and cause altcoin down drastically. they sell because they have bought altcoin when it came down and now altcoin has climbed the right time to sell it to buy altcoin this now I think it is not quite good.

I had seen this thread many times by many people at various time period.But to be frank ,all the time is suitable to buy cryptocurrency like bitcoin.It had some good potential to rise over any obstacle .If you buy at 5000$,you will get profit at the next 1000$ rise.So investing in crypto is good for your future and it's treated as an asset.

if you buy Bitcoin for now maybe the profit you can feel is in the years 2021 to 2022,

As the years go by, that means you will make a long-term investment and decide to buy now or rather buy under resistance then basically it is indeed the right time to continue buying. With so many projects there and when you only do research at the top 100, then in the end those projects do have very good potential when the bullish market happens, it's no longer surprising I guess.

now bitcoin price is in sideway, if the prce can break the resistance, i think there is no time to buy bitcoin in lower price anymore,

Honestly, it was a expected one. Many altcoin seems to be good project and some will say it's good and potential and some get into it. After some months ,for example in 6 months. The project will disappear and the investor will be the loser sometimes. So you need to buy at low price and dump to earn good profit from it .

Doing research about the top 100 on marketcap will reduce stress and also save investors from making lost but there are some certain coins/tokens on the top 100 which aren't good for long term investment and i will advise the OP to always obstruct centralized (especially BCH, NEO, EOS, BSV) from his investment.

It all depends on how you do the research. Because the top 100 coins are not good coins. There are many coins in it that can rekt you. Many top coins have already been scammed, if you do a little research you will get the names of the coins. I would say do a good research and see which coins are developing well. If the team is not active, there will be no profit even with top coins. So before buying coins, look at the technical and fundamental.

In my oppinion it is always a good time to buy if you are not in a hurry to sell as crypto market keeps climbing from year to year, and your current buy price will mean nothing in a few years... nevertheless you'll need that your chosen projects do not dissapear... and that is the risk...
The best time to buy was during the hardest part of the bear season, but I agree that as more time passes, the alts keep on climbing and you'll get your profits cut...

You make some good points but 94% of every cryptocurrency traders/investors joined crypto investment because of the profitability potential of crypto market, likewise 92% are usually panic when the market downtrend and this is the reason why you'll see a high ranking member of the forum asking question newbies ought to ask.

Tron, stellar, XRP are centralized coin and do check the historic data of ADA and Hedera Hashgraph. I hope you dont blame yourself though.

You are right, setting targets is very important. we have to decide on the target to be achieved and the worst possible target is we have to get out of an investment if there is a decline. don't be too greedy, because that can make us lose money. investment without targets and research, it will end badly.

I am sure every trader must have their own target and the analysis they have because at the moment the short term can also be utilized well if we rely on the long term it is not impossible that panic will occur if there is a severe decline.

The best time to buy is a few months ago when the world was shaken, but if left behind it is now quite right to buy. Both Bitcoin and Altcoin are good

we do not know what kind of potential could bring future coin prices. besides, no one can guarantee the right time to increase the number of assets we have. we do not know, whether, in the near future, crypto prices will go down, or go up. buy it now remains a risk. but, that's a decision you need to take, because when prices go up, now is the right time, and vice versa.

I totally agree, it's a good time to invest in Bitcoin and some alts, but just a couple of months ago it was a much better time to invest, but I think the market will grow for a long time to come.

I don’t agree with this the project I’m watching out for are up there because of the activities they have done over the years and I’m not of the opinion that they used money to buy their spot

How can we determine which coin that worth to buy when the pump was random based on the update about the project? It can't be done easily without always watch any news that comes to the market.
This is the difficult task that not everyone can do that even the expert traders.

It would be really great if you tell us the names of cryptocurrencies, which you are going to get stocked up as the year goes by, as you said. Because there are really many projects, which are good for preferring. But any way l think also that, it is more profitable to invest in altcoins, which are in top rank like ETH, BNB, etc.

Top ranked coins are good but not every one and there are still some coin which is from #100-300 ranking which is still good for investment.
The coin you mentioned are and i hope the OP will add it to his portfolio if it not included.

I personally invest a small amount of FIAT in BTC every week. In this way I can distribute the gains and losses resulting from the swings and in the meantime accumulate a good capital without trading. I also invest in some new altcoins that can have good performances after listing on big exchanges ::)

It is very unlikely that the top coins are not included in their investment portfolios, because the main thing we at least invest in is the top coins and if we no longer have much capital, then with a heavy heart we must try harder to get coins that have lower prices because Bounty hunters have the ability to track any new projects that have potential even though they are difficult to find in the bearish era.

The project I’m talking about are even less than a dollar and it’s the Ico price of some project coming out now. Projects like hedera Hashgraph stellar Tron are at good price now. So you want to get invested in that instead of any ICOs now

May I know of what are those you mention a coins that could be best time to buy for now.
Must better to share with us or we are the one to find them in the market of which coins it is.
I you cant share with us its find we find another way to find those coins you mention and started to buy on them.

If you have strong believe that these coins are worthy of your trust and very promising to look at, then why you have to waste this opportunity? Grab it! But I suggest not focusing on cheap coins because the risk is high and that has huge possibility that it losses it price rather than to pump. If you have a lot of money to invest in here, better to choose Bitcoin rather than altcoins, and why? It is because Bitcoin will 100% that it will move high any time unlike with altcoins as they are always dependant on Bitcoin. Or you have to spread your money into 3-5 coins for a better result.

Good research for what? ripple has become the worst choice these days, lack of volatility and multi-billions pre-mined coin that is not yet distributed to the market and it will soon come to the market. This is the worst coin that you must not put it in your list.

The prices are not high at all compared to the last bull run. Cryptos are trading for the best price you can get it now. Because when the push up start you should be seeing 10x

The prices have gone up a little bit and I think it´s best to wait a little longer.

25 coins arent that huge but quality research can take time for the each of them if you wanted to make sure that your investing only on the right one  . there is no point of rushing things because these coins wont run or will die not unlike to those coins that are not on the top ranked yet  .  

@marks , ripple maybe lack of volatility which means it not that suited for traders or investors but it can be useful on other things like purchasing or when gambling  .

I don't know why everyone keeps saying about buying when the price has been increasing significantly or FOMO. I believe the best price to buy a cryptocurrency when the bearish comes and everyone talking about cryptocurrency will dying and etc. I know there has some chance the price keeps falling and the bearish touched the next level price, but did you know you also have some chance to get a rebound and make your risk more little. Buying on the price already increase and still has some chance to break the next level price not wrong at all but the risk also increases due for that reason.

It seems to me that all the people in the cryptocurrency market have already forgotten about NEO and this project out of interest of anyone. I have not heard any news about their development for more than 2 years. the old and unnecessary project that I do not recommend to buy

I always believe that the best time to buy is when the market is bearish so you will have more chances to make their prices grow in just a couple of months or even a year. Right now bitcoin is having a bullish season so i'm afraid if we start buying with the FOMO, this will be more risky for us if the bear market suddenly comes once we have bought already those we think that are potential coins.

neo seems at first it could be an alternative altcoin other than ethereum, but in its journey neo could not develop as the initial goal to be addressed. in fact prices continue to fall even though in volume it remains quite promising.
does not guarantee that neo will be able to develop in the future.

it's better to keep investing in ethereum, BNB, XRP which might be more promising.

Many from those investors who have this mentality losses their money since they are fomoing when the market is rising
there are traders who rush in when they've seen that the value is moving up.
Unaware that in any moment the chance of losing the value again is really high, whales and those who already satisfied
with the amount of profits that they've got quickly sell out.

You have good advise here because after you made this one?the market had increase again but of course just a little amount and stays below 10k$.

The first 100 top currency in coinmarket cap has majority of greening but not enough to make a bull run expecting days.

You are right, NEO, ETH, BNB, XRP is the best coins which we need to buy and hold until the market situation matures because we should not underestimate any coin, so once the market starts recovering definitely there is a huge chance for old coin to recover the price firstly.

It’s true that every time is very important but I don't think it’s the right time to make buy-in terms of safe trading. All the top cryptocurrencies are now fluctuating in a short space and their trade volume is much less. I think we will soon see a big price increase or price decrease. It is true that the current market is up and it is very likely to reach the previous high but it is risky to buy until the resistance breaks. If you think you can earn more then you can get out of here but it is a bit risky. So considering the risks I don’t think it’s the right time to buy yet.

I totally agree with your suggestion that now is the right time to buy altcoins, but that must be bought top altcoins of course. Like ETH,
LTC, LINK, XRP, XLM, BNB and TRX. Because in 2020 the performance of top altcoins is quite good according to the results of  the analysis
that I have do, in fact, I predict that in 2021 alt season can occur, so buying altcoins from now is a good decision.

I didn't expected that the price will be hit at this point. My guess is that the price will go higher after the halving event and I was wrong. i haven't find any bad news about cryptocurrency which will make their price falling or even bitcoin. The common case always when bitcoin nearly hit $10k, it got dump and make market crash.

agree with your principle, of course with a little analysis made and full of confidence that believe what we will invest is a coin that is very reliable. then no need to hesitate to buy and hold to be used as an investment. No doubt bitcoin is the best crypto to invest in, buy even in small amount if you cant afford to own a 1 btc. It will be worth it once the price soar high again.

When it comes to alts we know its safe if we will choose the popular ones because its unlikely to become a shitcoins and already existing for years so there's a high chance to profit when alt season occur. Everytime is the best time if you are a HODLER it means you are holding it for a long time and not be affected by any FUDS. But choose the coins your are going to hold better analyzed it further. For the safest  option I should say btc, but since we are on altcoin board I guess top 10 coins on CMC is safer to invest.

Yes no doubt if l have enough capital, l would prefer investing in BTC. That is why BTC is most profitalbe and no doubt in a year l would make a double profit from my investment, but it is just expensive and as you said there are still some profitable projects, which l can also make good profit with a small amount from them.
