Title: v9 control board to s11 s15 t15 s17 t17
Post by: milani1387 on June 07, 2020, 10:50:26 AM
Hello
I have v9 board control
And I want to use it on other new miners
Because they are similar in terms of hardware
First:
I replaced the control board  program with the s15 Downgrade file
Now the board control can be used for s15
is there a problem ???
The new miners have power control output
My question is:
Where can I find this power control output on the v9 controlboard ???
thanks

OP are you asking a question or stating a fact? If you managed to run S15 hash boards on a V9 control board then that is nuts!! If you are asking if you could do that i'd bet on a no.

What do you mean by power control output? Can you post some pictures?

Hello
thank you
No
I ask a question
And I want to talk about it
There is no problem with the software
And the control board of Miner V9 is easily downgraded to the S11 or S17
The only problem is:
In the Miner V9 board, we do not have the power output to control apw8 and apw9 powers
If we can find it
The problem is solved

I don't pretend to know all the technical aspects of this, i also agree that with physical modification you will likely get any control board to run any hashboard, but the fact that bitmain with all the money and engineers did not take the route  - simply tells me that the cost of doing so is ridiculously high, mind you that bitmain probably have a ton of those old control boards and have access to all the components at a much cheaper price than all of us, labor in china makes such a thing even more justifiable but they didn't do it, which only leads to one conclusion.
