Which news is the easiest to pump?

You forgot to include exchange listing (top exchange) like binance ;)
i know this days just the mention of binance in a project bring so much hype and when a project is listing on binance usually brings about massive pump but this does not happen all the time,
nowadays, news like token swap, mainnet don't move price that much, i guess people are already use to such news, the only exception will be a big partnership announcement with a well known company, sometimes pump occurs without any serious news involved.

Take a look at this site https://coinmarketcal.com/en/

There is a lot of event that will be held by some developer of the project and most likely most traders and investor crypto currency made this site as the fundamental strategy for them to buy some coins.

From what I have observed most coins that are having mainnet update are pumping with a legitimate announcement from a reputable source, you can consider announcements from top exchanges or coinmarketcal. Coins from binance launchpad like harmony are like that, when they announce to launch mainnet they are starting to pump. Also, I agree with the guy on top binance IEO is a guaranteed pump like x3 or more on listing day.

This news ciculating all over the internet can bring a huge impact to several traders who've been waiting for those pumps to accumulate. Those announcement is somehow very important, since we're all after on every good sides that comes out. The results is either good or bad, because there's no assurance in every situations; market was still unpredictable.

If a coin is trading normally then there is a possibility of price up in every positive news or event. The most important thing here is to select the coin.
In my opinion, the coin that has a good reputation is selected for news-based trading.

To be honest I really don't think sometimes news events is the only reason why price of a coin pump, this is because I have been a holder of Apollo currency (apl) for quite some time now, the team have working tirelessly over the past year making the project to standout, there so many great news and updates as well but till now price has not move the way it should

Which news is the easiest to pump?

Some of the biggest pumps ever comes from great partnerships. But I remember also some pump after dev updates and important news. Certly after airdrops you can se a dump of the token, this is certly at the 101% because a lot of people that don t know anything about the project change those tokens for a few of satoshi.

The good news about bitcoin's adoption.

In most of the news, this signifies that the whole crypto market is growing whenever we see some good news in every part of the world. Just like the accumulation of Grayscale, the adoption of bitcoin on some establishments in Australia.

And in other certain parts of the world.

Honestly, I do not think any of those things work anymore. Partnerships are almost no effect now unless it is a seriously big partner who uses THEIR socials to make the announcement. And Coinbase effect (listing) absolutely no more impact these days. I would say the only big news these days is if some huge company makes a proper multimillion dollar investment.

Which news is the easiest to pump?

legitimate partnerships like from government and big financial institutions.

look at dag when they announced a partnership with USAF its wasnt even listed in a big exchange but bottom buyers made a big profit over it.

airdrops, swaps, and forks is a thing of the past. People are looking for projects that are good for long-term.

I also agree with you, nowadays only good and strong partnership from a well known organization or company that can move price very rapidly, before it use to be mainnet launch or listing on big exchange, but I think those are behind us now, investors are looking for a more secured project i.e project with solid partnership that can last for a very long time) any project with such background will definitely perform better and will strive to stay long in business.

It should be a good partnership swap, and the update regarding the latest development related to the product.
In my opinion if the whales wanna pump when there was a good rumour to bet in.

Remember the market will give the hype based on the speculation and they will be using the news as the time to sell.
