Title: (SCAM) TetherDollars.com
Post by: -CryptoViking- on July 08, 2020, 09:35:53 PM
I have a few groups where people can freely share their referrals and I monitor them to remove scam projects and ban idiots who share that kind of stuff.

This one caught my eye and it is an obvious scam.

Project is tetherdollars.com (http://tetherdollars.com) and it is clearly a scam, you can see as soon as you scroll through their website. They are offering crazy returns, doubling and classic scam stuff.

Here are some snips of the website so you don't have to even open it yourself.

And snips of "investment" plans that they are so "generously" offering:

Thank you for reporting. It is another ponzi-like scheme with promises to triple your deposits, and when they get any relatively high deposit from someone, they will instantaneously disappear.

This company is nowhere registered, thay haven't even agreed upon how to call their "organization".

Website has two different "About Us" sections, which additionally tell us that they are not going to run their ponzi for long.

I haven't found any information about these companies on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/companies-house

Great catch there, OP! I hope you continue monitoring your group members’ posts with possible scams and sharing it here in the scam accusations board. You will never know when someone would google search for a particular website and could end up here. Who knows, right?

Anyway, is It a public group that you have? You should verify your members as well if they are real or not. It depends on what group you have, too, though.

Thanks. I monitor the groups daily and ban people that share stuff like this, report it here exactly because of those reasons you mentioned.Maybe someone will search before "investing" and save themselves that way from loses.

Regarding members I had a bot with captcha to prevent bots from joining, but that way lots of real people get confused and miss the window too verify they are human, so I removed it and I'm back to manual to at least have some kind of organic growth.
