Title: What was the first-ever ICO you’ve invested?
Post by: cheezcarls on July 11, 2020, 10:45:06 AM
2017 was the year that I have started my cryptocurrency journey. During that year alone, I invested in some few ICOs on top of participating in airdrops and bounty programs.

Blackmoon Crypto Token (BMC) was the first ever ICO that I’ve invested. I think I shelled out $10.00+ for that since I’m just a micro-investor. I remember the time that Blackmoon Crypto Token is almost sold out, so I had to catch up and good thing that I did.

Unfortunately, Blackmoon Token didn’t profit more than $1.00 when it was listed in exchanges. My $10.00 worth of BMC is now $0.42 only. The reason I hold it until now is because I want to keep this as a remembrance of the first-ever ICO that I’ve invested.

The other ICOs that I have invested next to Blackmoon last 2017 are Paragon Coin, Electroneum, Universa, Crypterium and LoyalCoin. Unfortunately all of these ICOs I’ve invested are at a loss, but I didn’t sell them until now.

On top of that, I also invested some TRXs as well during that year and until now I haven’t sold them. XRP is another coin I have invested when it was still around $0.77, but successfully sold them when it almost reached $4.00. I also bought DOGE when it was still $0.006 and sold it when that coin is on it’s way to an all-time high for a quick profit.

What about you guys? Could you share the very first ICO that you’ve invested? Thanks!

Cybermiles was the first ICO that I participated in, I still remember it clearly because it gave me some huge profits. Its price has increased by more than 10 times the ICO price and since then it has made me passionate about investing in ICOs.

My first investment was a paragon coin, at that time I still didn't know about ICO, I just followed the advice of my friend. but in reality I lost a lot of money there. after that I tried to learn to understand ICO and I managed to get profits in 2017

I have invested a lot but I already liquidated all of them during it's boom and I'm glad that I did it, otherwise I will be also trapped similar to what had happened to the OP and many more other investors.

Yes, those where the happiest time, a simple to mid investors will really turn out to be profitable. Perhaps the question is are we going to see that kind of boom in the altcoin market? It was really crazy, there are lot of irrational investors (including me), but it really paid good dividends. But there are also who didn't sell and think that this madness will go on parabolic rise.

You are lucky to have a good determination to stay in the crypto market. I started investing in bitcoin and ethereum after the market declined in 2018. Previously I only worked on campaigns and didn't invest. and now I have traded daily for some altcoin on the exchange.

During ICO era, I was very skeptical about altcoins since I majored in trading BTC/USDT pair on spot trading. With time i decided to take the risk and invested in WABI, which is now TAEL seeing some team members from Alibaba, the product for anticounterfeit and the hype around the ICO. I made massive gains after, sold my bag in four phases on Binance. Oh the good old days ☺.

Will it be repeated again: D where the ICO era was very profitable, but all that is over latcoin is now no longer reliable because I think it's time to move to the current trends, maybe spot or futures trading will be better and more challenging in my opinion .

I forgot the name because it was several months ago, I invested in yobit, and one of the new tokens launched there with an investment offer will have a few percent interest. but after a few weeks it didn't add up, I pulled it back because I didn't know whether I was the one who misunderstood the understanding of the investment or how. and after that no longer, except for big coins like etherum and xrp, I still invest there. in my opinion for ico or new tokens, it's better to just join the bounty.

My first ICO was cobinhood, at that time I invested 1 ETH and got 100% ROI from my investment. after that I invested in several ICOs because I saw the profits that I got from the project. the second project that I invested in was Pundix, Utrust, and INS ecosystem (now insolar). at that time I saw their project was quite convincing because it could raise a sizable amount of funds. after that I also invested heavily in new projects, but nothing worked. seeing the number of new projects that did not turn a profit, I decided to focus on trading.

As I remember, the first ICO I ever invested was something called TTF. They were a project that aimed to create an exchange with their own stable coin called TTF. They missed their roadmap by large and though they made a working exchange, it was primitive and had no volume. My investment too was low of just about $80 but I lost them all as I never cashed out from them. Don't even know if they still exist.

I also invested in ICO way back 2017 my first investment is humaniq I don't know if that project is still alive today but it give me large profit back then. The largest fund I invested is in primalbase if I remember I invested around 2btc and only 1/4 of it back to me from my investment.

I think the first ICO I ever invested was EOS. Their ICO ran for a complete year and I was not quite sure if to invest on it or not. But within the ICO, they were getting more and more attention due to their development and there was a great hype surrounding it. I bought some coins and sold them for some profit after about six months. And I don't regret it.

The same experience for Ethereum.

I was also there when I've seen it very cheap and didn't expected that it's going to be one of the best altcoins. I wasn't a good researcher during that time and didn't see those good words about Ethereum until it became popular due to smart contracts.

It was WAVES that I first tried and then Stratis.  I have no idea what I was doing and then I started learning why most of the users are spreading lies about the projects which tend to drop below its ICO price. It looks like a strategy actually when I first tried it with WAVES. It was easier to earn BTC during that time though so I  didn't really care if I lose BTC its all for the experience. Right now I can already feel the scarce of the BTC that I resort to keeping ETH and even EOS.

The first ICO I invested in after missing so many profitable ICOs was Bitdegree (BDG). The project aim got me, education propagation on blockchain, but the outcome wasn't really cool for those who held BDG long term. The project was hyped by suppoman since he claimed to have invested in it. I sold some on fork delta upon unofficial listing but held a bulk too, since I was expecting 10x. Unfortunately, the BDG in my wallet has turned shit lol.

I started my crypto journey around the same time too. I have experienced the previous bullrun and that was a great time for the crypto world. Like whatever ICO you join, there is great potential for good returns. I think the first ICO I have joined was Sapien. Got a good return at first but eventually got caught up with the crypto bubble and lost a bit.

My first ico was iconomi and i have been buying it at the ico price and i have sold it for more than $1 for each iconomi and at that time the ico price of iconomi was around 20 cents.

I have made around 5x - 6x return from my first ico and that's the best thing happened in my life.

This is make me happy, but slowly ICO era is over. All coin i hold dump, also many become scam. That's why i stop to join in ICO

I had a pretty good experience from my friends in 2016, at that time I didn't really understand the Bitcointalk forum, but I was familiar with several cryptocurrency exchanges like Bitcoin.

So my initial experience I know ICO is Zcoin (XZC), at that time I was a little doubtful, understand because I just knew ICO, friends convinced me, about investing, so I tried with a capital of $ 500, with the price of crypto (XZC) when it was around $ 0.2 if I'm not mistaken, one year I saw the price of Zcoin has reached the level of $ 169.
This is an experience that I will never forget about crypto especially ICO Zcoin, even though prices are plummeting right now.

When I first started my journey to the crypto world,ICO was a hot cake back then. But I don't have money to invest. So I was not interested in investing. But DIGITEX(Dgtx) project got me hooked and somehow I managed money and invest in digitex around 500$.Digitex ico price was approximately 0.015$ more or less.I have been benefited a lot from digitex.I had sold my half of coin. And I still hold around 5000 dgtx coin. Now digitex price is 0.056$.It has now 3X more than the ICO price.

Then I invested in few others ICO and but made a big loss.

As far I remember Waves was the first ICO where I invested. And I can successfully say that I have got the profitable project in my starting of the adventure. I sold those waves when it was 3.5$+ and got a good profit. I also bough a token called ETHBits(ETBS) I think or something like that. But it failled me badly. In 2017 I invested in Playkey ICO and other one I think Riviz(RVZ) something like that. Playkey was a success for me and RVZ was not that profitable.

Mine was raiblocks, what is called nano right now. I know it was a long time ago but it was very very famous at the time, and I have to agree that it peaked over 30 dollars for a while as well. Right now, it is sitting at 1 dollar which is not bad considering it dropped under .70 for a while.

However I do not believe it will go back to good old days, I believe it will never be over 30 dollars ever again, which is why I think it is quite important that we get out at the right time when we get into ICO once again. It is not easy to know when it is the peak but when you do 10x something there is a way to get out and you should, because if you wait for that 100x, that may never come and you may end up in a loss. That is at least what I learned from this mistake myself, to each to their own I suppose.

In 2017 I first started investing in ico. I participated in many ico. The main reason for this was just the hype of ico all around. Lots of new people were coming to the crypto market and investing. I tried to verify them well before I invested in icos, but I wasn't always right. I was scammed in some projects.

There are many like me who have been victims of scams. That was the best time for scammers. Due to ico hype, people lost their funds by investing in projects without doing good research. Now that the days of ico are over, investors have become smart enough.

Thats a smart decision but out of curiosity, why would you think the project is the first ICO project you invested in?
With that been said, the first ever ICO I invested in was Komodo back in the year 2016 which was also among the successful ICO then and every investors make profit.

for ICO in 2017, we can see some success in getting development funds. but many also eventually died in development after 1 year of the project. now I don't see many new projects that really can survive in the long run especially for ICO.

My first ever ico investment was Encryptotel (ETT), it was a success but because I believe so much in the project, I keep on holding until its value decreases lower than the ico price. Instead of making a profit, I end up having less. This is a very unfortunate experience for me and because of that, I didn't invest again anymore.

2017 was considered the most successful year of the crypto market because most of the ICO projects at that time were very good, and it was easy for you to make a profit if you knew how to analyze. During that time, there was a lot of getting rich from this type of investment, and I was also fortunate to participate in some large ICO projects like Tezos. However, things are different now, and since the bear market came about it has become much more difficult to make profits.

I had made my first investment in WPP energy ICO, which seems so grateful for that time, and still, it has great potential in its growth but the team has to work consistently throughout its complete development. Right now the price of the token has been consistently falling. But I hope sooner or later it will going to be succeeded.
Recently I have seen its price rise more than 100 times, so many people have profitably when hold it. I used to hold some WPP but I didn't have the patience to hold it until now, sell everything too early and at the bottom

I started with the "lending coins" in 2017. The ilks of Westerncoin, Glasscoin, Regalcoin, Hextra just to name but four. It was an era of ICO that got a lot of newbies like myself wrecked. Apart from being a stressful engagement trying to buy in because there was always a timeline to buy in and most of those ICOs were easily sound out within minutes, it ended in tears. We always tried to get in at the same time and traffic to those sites would instantly get packed. All those coins later turned scam. It's a regrettable experience for me.

Cybermiles was the first ICO that I participated in, I still remember it clearly because it gave me some huge profits. Its price has increased by more than 10 times the ICO price and since then it has made me passionate about investing in ICOs.
It's not always all that rosy. My advice to you is to sell a part of that hodling to get back your capital (that's even if you don't have any pressing financial issue to solve yet). We have seen projects crash after attaining an ATH.

I was the same, in 2016 and 2017 I had a lot of Dogecoin. And I also sold all at that time to make a profit, it's good that DOGE is still alive to this day and still receives a lot of attention from investors.

when you invest in an ICO I think you should be able to be careful when participating because it involves assets or money that you have, and you must know that the risk of losing assets will be very high because no one can provide guarantees for cryptocurrency investments.

You remind me of some of the shitcoin I invested in 2017, I bought them at etherdelta and hold. After a while, they were listed on Yobit, Hitbtc ... the price has increased many times and helped me to get huge profits.
At that time there was no a lot of choices of exchange sites and when a coin could even get listing on the hitbtc and it can be considered as a huge success and so many people were hyping such coin too. So many things are changing right now as the market goes even mature.

The first project I decided to invest my money in was Tierion TNT (a platform for data verification). I just started getting acquainted with the crypto world and came across this project. As it turned out, it was possible to make good money on it if I sold tokens immediately after listing, but I was overcome with greed. As a result, now tokens are lying on the wallet and waiting for better times (if they come).

Looking at the OP's experience, certainly not many people can hold tokens resulting from ICO investments. Even now, there is no price anymore. I almost forgot the first project I invested in, around 2017 before the end. Investing in my first ICO was profitable at that time and after that tried again and in the end the next project failed. Since then I did not enter ICO investment again.

the first ICO that I have invested was on electroneum.. their ico was a great success and until the project is still developing where their community can use all the benefits of this coin. The profit that I have got into this ico was not that big but still, the coin is still alive and developments are on the way. heard some rumors before that it was a scam but then they prove it as this project has a big potential

My first ICO would be Antshares rebranded to NEO and that is also one of my biggest mistakes by selling early in the first spike of its price back then the price was just in cents nowhere near a dollar and the rebranding is on its way and decided not to buy back.

What about you guys? Could you share the very first ICO that you’ve invested? Thanks!

Well the first ico i invested in was bitdegree - a project that envisioned to decentralize education on Blockchain and i did the airdrop couple with the bounty programs so i earned a lot of tokens from the bounty that superceed my investment to the extent that i questioned why i invested in the first place. The token got listed and was doing quite well on exchange until the bear market sets in during early 2018 and i had to sell up immediately and I'm glad i did because the token price is nothing to write home about currently

Aside from the hype of electroneum before I never got invested into ICO, but I am more fans of IEO cause you can feel the profits from it. ICO is not that bad but due to incident of potential scams before Ive got so many dissapointment and also I did not earn much profits with the ICO I invested, I dont know why I did it before maybe due to hype alone. Never again will invest on any ICO. Its much better to risk on IEO on top markets and gain some income.

I don't know the exact details but it doesn't seem like a good and long-lasting coin, maybe a hype coin due to an increase and a decrease in a short amount of time, I got info from my friends and only bought about 20 $ on their private sale then sold it a few days after release and get 100 $, a week later the price has dropped above 90%, and I know that is the end of the coin.

in crypto-currencies, I thought prices will rise even more or hold that positions. It was in gambling site BitDices! I still
have passive income from them in Ethereums, but it's not become a popular site and my passive income is low. Maybe
they will develop more and attract more people, and I will have higher income from that, if it happens!

The very first ICO in which I had invested was the Mozotoken (which was a South Korean based project). Initially the project gave good returns, and it was listed in some of the better exchanges. Fortunately, I cashed out my tokens during the initial days and after that the exchange rates dipped by more than 90%. I don't know what happened to the project and the last time I heard about it, the development activity was on hold.

Honestly I have somehow managed not getting into ICO contribution; I could not recall any reasons but participating bounties could be one reason like when I am getting paid in bounties why should I need to go for spending my BTC or ETH for buying same tokens or coins. I rarely found time to analyze few white papers but I do follow as per my friends recommendation to participate into ICO bounties. So, due to the fear factor of unable to find right project for contributing while ICO, must be another reason why I never touched ICOs. But, I have bought few tokens like MTC after hitting exchanges.

Doctoken(MTC) must be one good memorable ICO in my experience as I got chances to buy them lesser than its listing prices and then I sold them for 5 time higher prices. Due to its huge profits in really short time duration, I still mention it as one of my good altcoin experience regardless of how many worthless tokens I still hold.

How big profit that you will get from the lending site depends on how much your annual yield. FYI so many people were also getting scammed by HYIP and lending site too.
The biggest profit still came from the ICO. I have ever gotten a bunch of money from my first ico too.

Thanks!
My first investment in a crowdfunded project was in Ethereum and after that I have done a lot of investments in the ICO trend of 2017. My best investment was in XRP which I brought very cheap and also held onto XRP until the ATH and when the price was falling then I sold my XRP.

DOGE is also a pretty good investment when you enter at the right time in the market, it having a history of mass periodic price increases almost every year which makes it even more interesting, although after that price increase it again come back to its initial price as well.

I have known this project in the past and actually Hextracoin is one of the projects that I have made the most profit since joining. Of course, only the first person can make a lot of profit and I'm also lucky to have made more than 400% of the profits from this project. However, after a few months of operation, this project showed signs of scam and that was when I realized that this project was not good and was fortunate to withdraw all assets from it.

I believe you should not post here at all if you forgot the ICO you invested first. This is not a mandatory thread to answer at all. There are a lot of ICO before that gave profit more than x7 and above profit. ONT and ZIL pump price more than that percentage during there peak price compared to there ICO. Its not too late to find potential project that will give mega profit. You can start on choosing DeFi project which is the hot crypto investment right now.

Answering OP. I made my first ICO purchase on HVN(hive terminal). I was hyped because they win first price on some famous crypto awarding event that time. I made tons of profit too that time. I really missed the golden age of crypto where having 100% is easy and normal because fresh fiat money keep entering in crypto space. Right now most of the people are onboard that's why crypto market are stagnant compared before.

I can't really remember what they were selling but I was fascinated by the concept of mining with my mobile phone. I bought so many tokens that I thought I would be a millionaire in no time lols, when I look back now I just laugh at how naive I was.

I remember that I have invested into at least 10 ICO projects by 2016 and 2017 and then I decided to stop completely after most of the projects never hit exchanges to get me any returns. When your coin getting listed but you are unable to sell in profits is different than your coin is not getting listed on any exchanges. In first case you, you may get chances to recover your losses at some percentage; I guess getting back some 50% also will be somehow consoling whereas no exchange is available to encash your coins/tokens then will be 100% losses; Yes, I got zero returns for most of the ICO I contributed.

I'm confident about my due diligence skills but I still do not know where and what went wrong with my ICO experience to get me absolute bitter things.

I believe, over the time ICO operators were becoming too smart to make themselves look like perfect legit in order to convince investors. Because, I have not invested into any ICO on my own opinion alone but after few experts suggestions as well. Still, I made losses. After such a bitter experience with ICOs, I have missed the many good opportunities in IEO as well.

It was waves which was my first investment in ICO, however, I was not able to make good money when I sell it, I sold early, I didn't wait for the bull run period to sell my coin but then ,even if I have sold it that time, I would not make much as Waves does not rise as crazy as some coins in the market.

I'm just happy that waves until now is still stable, unlike other coins that have already lost its volume and its value in an exchange.

Actually, I even made more money from the bounty that time than investing in altcoins, that was the luckiest moments of my life.

Not a good experience for me. When I delved into the crypto world, I wasn't really into ICOs. Then at a time in the end of 2018 or so, a project got my attention. The project is ARR. It is about augmented reality. I kind of saw the potential of the project. So, I invested. Down the line, it hasn’t gone well. I still have this silly belief they will be back with a boom. Just a silly feeling.

I clearly remember my first ICO. It was in October 2017. Hash Rush, a project that aimed to merge blockchain with gaming. At that time, no other project thought seriously about this concept. At the end of ICO they raised around $1M, but then in May, like many ICO projects they became victims of massive bear market swipe. They survived somehow and are now finally able to release their Beta game this month!! After so many years, they are finally fulfilling their promise and I'm excited for that! You can check them out on www.hashrush.com .

I still remember 2 ICO's that I've invested.

The first one is the Streamex ICO which is an exchange. I invested a small amount on it (around 0.003 BTC only IIRC) and hold it but I don't expect too much on it. Now their website can't be found already and their telegram has been in a mute mode where we can't type anymore meaning it turned out to be a scam. When I last visited it months ago, there is not that much volume on their site so I see that it will be a scam coin already.

The 2nd one is the Bethash ICO and I've invested small amount here too. Luckily, the site is still up and many are gambling on the site already. I'm just staking on their site, doing some gambling sometimes but just for a small amount.

Sadly, I'm not still into crypto when the tokens which are in the top 100 right now are still on their ICO/tokensale.

The first ICO that I joined at that time was the Cybermiles project, you could say this was my most successful investment in joining ICO. But the more I come here, I am less interested in participating in ICO, and if I want to participate in the sale of tokens, I choose to participate in IEO and even if it is held in a large market. For example when I participated in IEO BTT which was held at Binance.

Now things are different and the development team is almost gone, so if you choose to hold it in the long run, this coin will only cost you money and wait time.

Lucky for you, most of the people probably will still hold it because of greed, and wouldn't probably make a profit from it, but you invested in ico again and im guessing your profit from venturing in ico is probably negative.

It's amazing if you have become an investor in IEO in a large exchange, although you don't get a good opportunity in 2017 and early 2018, I don't think it's a problem because the IEO program in Binance and Kucoin is a very good program to be followed by everyone.

My first ICO investment experience was realized by simultaneously investing in 2 projects simultaneously. The ICO craze had begun in late 2017 and early 2018, and I had invested in the DIW project, which had a very good impact during these periods, as well as the GIF token, the gambling project that was claimed to be very successful at that time. The investments I made in these two projects were the first ICO experience for me and I had the experience of being very careful when investing in subsequent projects. Although the number of investments I have made in ICO projects is less than the number of fingers of a hand, I learned that the ICO event is not profitable.

I took part in my first ICO's around mid 2016...

At this time, the ICO's were still extremely profitable!
In addition, some of these projects still exist today.
The most noteworthy I have participated, was the Lisk-ICO (January 2016) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1346646.0) and the Waves-ICO (March 2016) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1387944.0).

Those were definitely the most rewarding ones for me at the time...

With Waves and Lisk I made so much profit in 2017 and 2018, that I've, for example, bought a new car because my old one was broke down...
I had simply waited for the right time, but above all, I had not sold my coins right after the start!
I sold most of the Waves and Lisk for 10€/coin.

Nevertheless I have to say, it was easier to make a nice profit at that time...

I also didn't invest much in ICO projects during 2017 because during that time I did not have good knowledge so it was easy to lose money if I chose the wrong investment. I think that since the IEO started to be mentioned more and more, I have been involved a lot and most of them are IEO projects at Binance, Huobi, and Okex exchanges because these are the only 3 exchanges that will help me earn a profit. Now, ICO are starting to return to this market and the Defi project is a name that is quite popular.

Nevertheless I have to say, it was easier to make a nice profit at that time...
that's huge profit if you able to bought car at that moment, in my calculation at least you get $10.000 . few years ago when cryptocurrency market booming there are alot good ico and as investor we earn much money, from ten ICO maybe 9 of them give us profits. but unfortunately this condition not repeated again today.

That's a huge amount of profit, as far as I know, the price of wave and Lisk has risen tremendously in early 2018 and if you sell at the right time then you probably have 10 times the profit. I also invested in many ICOs in 2017 but I quickly sold them and didn't have too much profit

unfortunately i am never participate in ICO due have no money. i am  a person that not ready when accepting loss in my investment, for me its better to be bounty hunter and save money from its reward. but for some people investing as future plan , they want their money not stay at bank account and no growth on its value. and maybe ICO be their choice.

It has been years, so I am not completely certain, but it was either the Red Pulse ICO or the Wagger ICO. I am still holding those tokens, so no, my investments were not profitable at all. I was as well planning to participate in the Binance ICO but forgot about it, I also had a chance to be in the Tron and Qutum ICOs, but I did not pull my trigger, so yes, when it comes to the ICO scene, my decisions were poor to say at least.

None, after the success of ICO in 2017 I knew I've lost my opportunity, after February 2018 every altcoins start dumping, I knew right then that this is the beginning of a big bear market and ICO turning into history starts in 2018, I'm now IEO investor through binance and kucoin only
I also didn't invest much in ICO projects during 2017 because during that time I did not have good knowledge so it was easy to lose money if I chose the wrong investment.

You are doing your research since you are afraid of investing to scam project, dealing with IEO's which been introduce to known established exchange is a positive sign that you value your money, there's always advantages when you work with your studied before you jumped into any investment.

Yeah about 10x profit with WAVES and with LISK as well.

I have also participated in some other ICOs, but WAVES and LISK were the biggest investments in the 4-digit range!
In addition still smaller investments in e.g.: Komodo, WINGS, RISE and some others...

My last major investment was in Tezos (XTZ).
My fundraiser XTZ I still hold until today...

I invested on ETN. I gained a lot of profit back then and I'm sad I put into it just $20. If I had invested a lot more, then I'll gain bigger profits. Its too risky to invest much so I'm just on the safe side. Besides I joined their bounty and got more tokens. Its a win win for me.

Is not funny have not for once participate in any ICO program before, I prefer waiting for my favorite project to get listed on exchange and buy for a long time hold than buying ICO. There are alot of risk attached to buying ICO's, one of the reason I keep avoiding it.

In 2017, I managed to get involved in an ICO, which later went bust. It's good that this was a trial experience for me, and I did not risk a large amount. Now I would never do this, but then I still believed in something.

The first project I invested into was a renewable energy company which control WPP token. This project was my very first and I ran into a big lose, though on a long run the project brought me some good gains. This project made me not to get into other cryptocurrency projects because I lost but summoned courage and proceeds to others that earned me huge profit. AEN was the second cryptocurrency projects I took part in their investment and made good profits smoothly. Advise: if your first cryptocurrency projects investment don't workout then try another.

I wanted to invest in an ICO in 2018, but I stopped. Although, I cannot vividly pinpoint what made me not to invest in it, despite having the fund at that time. TIll date the project has not listed on any exchange. The simple truth about it is that, it's a scam project, because they disappeared all of a sudden. Although there were very good ICOs, as at when it was still very much relevant. Things have now changed, so it's better not to invest in any ICO project.

I remember it and AFAIK kick ico has a good result on its ico but that's very sad to see the team can't even follow the market trend and the product that has already created by kick ico gets became a dead platform when IEO was replacing the crowdfunding platform. The old vision of kickico to the created a crowdfunding platform.

Just like me, I first learned of crypto in mid 2017. As far as I remember, I first invested ICO, Crowd Wiz in December 2017, and I made a decent profit. I forget again how much profit is certain, because at that time there were so many benefits that I got from trading crypto, bounties etc. You could say the end of 2017 was my best year at crypto with high income.

I have known about this project in the past, but luckily I was warned and avoided losing money. That time Sparkster was talked about a lot and there were thousands of investors willing to invest at any time but all were fake and I quickly left the project.

Now, there are still many ICO projects like this and you need to spend time researching carefully before investing because there is always a risk when you invest in ICO.

in 2017 almost every ICO held will be sold out before the end of time is determined, I remember once the ICO that I followed at that time was the oyster protocol from which I took x 200 of crew capital.
really a very rare momentum for people to flock to get it, but at this time ICO no longer has good interest and is merely enriching the owner.

I was unlucky in ICO world. When I first invested is in the Exscudo project, the development Exscudo project was not very good so they delayed the distribution tokens, then they distributed tokens after the price dropped. Until now I still hold several EON tokens but I don't know if they have been scammed or not today.

Well my first ICO that I invested was Bob's repair and lucky that I profited it was 2018. When the market was crashing down I never invested ICO anymore because many projects were failed and some turned to scam.
I am very fortunate to have invested in a lot of big ICO projects like Bancor, Adex, AppCoin and these are all projects that helped me to earn very high profits during that time. However, these coins are no longer the same as before and no one cares so these coins are currently at a very bad price. Now it seems that IEO is getting more interesting because any IEO project is guaranteed liquidity if it is a potential project.

I've remember it was the year that the cryptocurrencies bloomed (2017), I earn some good fortune in campaign and after earning some I saw TaaS and risk investing even though I don't know much of the trading. I guess it was worth it since everything went well after that and been able to take some reasonable profit and excluding the coins I get from bounty I probably got 150% return investment.

First ICO I ever invested was ICON (ICX). Invested in 2017 of September & it was listed on Binance in December of the same year. It did like 100x from the ICO price after few weeks of getting listed. I was very glad because my first investment gave me a huge profit. Ever since I am investing in good ICOs & IEOs till now.

Thanks!
Great branch. Thanks to cheezcarls for creating it. The first project I invested in was MGO https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mobilego/
https://store.mobilego.io/
Like everyone else, he succumbed to the hype and the frantic feverish pursuit of X's.

Do you still wish to invest in ICO like 2016-2017? I think that will not happen again and now that ICO's popularity is fading, don't expect investment there to be much better, IEO, which has a good reputation.

I can't even remember the name of the first project, I only remember that it was the summer of 2017, the project lived for about a month, and then the main developer left it, and price went to the bottom, I invested 500$, after there were several more unsuccessful projects, the first success was BNB.

Lol many made massive gains from this Bitconnect and many who got in late got burnt too. I remember when suppoman (a crypto influencer) mentioned it as a ponzi scheme on his channel, while another popular influencer was busy promoting it. I didn't like the idea of lending coins wayback since many scams sprouted up under that niche. Bitconnect MCAP and price was growing massively such that it didn't look organic. I wasn't really an ICO freak but WABI was an ICO which caught my attention and I made huge profit from it.
