In the past years in this cryptocurrency project many of has experienced had I know especially me because of some cryptocurrency project I missed to participate because of fear and doubt, as a person if you begin to look at the risk and what you have lost in the digital world you Will never get yourself involve in new crypto currency forgetting that life itself is a risk. What then is your fear in crypto?

I admire the creation of alternative cryptocurrencies although the competition now in the market is high, I admire those people/team who still want to enter the market and make a new name. But what I feared the most for new crypto project is when they are a scam, although we can know if the project is a scam or not but the level of scam these days are high, they are deceiving for normal crypto people like us, and more deceiving for beginners. For the past 2 years, I've never see a project that became trending or highly speculated, there was the Facebook's Libra but now I don't know if they are still going for the crypto market, perhaps they are just waiting for a perfect timing. This is also bounty hunting these days are hard, you cannot know what project is good or not.

The only problem what could happen is that the token will die due to team's inactivity, nothing else. But the question is for how long we will accept this behavior from the ICO teams? It shouldn't be so easy to leave the not developed project without refunding investors.  ::)

My only fear in crypto is the team behind the project. You see, the direction a project will take and the shape it will assume depends on the team and this is also the big reason why I highly prefer already built projects to new ones. In addition, it is good to take risks but deadly to take blind and uncalculated risks which is also the reason most investors invest in a project and once listed they dump everything and then watch the project team and how they will react, thus knowing if it is to buy again or move on. Remember most projects today only pumped at the early days of listing and that's all, so knowing the type of risks to take matters a lot.

If that's the case, he is a weak hand.

He shouldn't let himself involve in cryptocurrencies because he'll always be disappointed and only think of the possible losses that he will make in the long run. But, if he's aware of the risk and he's still remaining and believes with his choices, he deserves to be here.

My fear is that there's still an increasing number of useless cryptos being added.

i will fear and will not invest to a new project when i feel the project look scammy mate
and of course i will not drop my money to invest in a new cryptocurrency if i don't know anything about the project my friend
wich mean i will do my own research to the project
 

I have my fear as a bounty hunter and the investor of a project. First, i would not want to see myself invest in a project by buying at ATH and never see the price again, but lower price than the rate i bought it. Irrespective of how long one waits, it never comes back to the original and initially price, except at power price. While as a bounty hunter, i am afraid of working for a project whose coin will never have value and exit scam and not pay for the work done.

When you have something to lose, you will have fear. For scam projects, you don't want to lose your time. I don't get anything, so now I have a fear of not losing my time. I don't want to waste my time like the Bcnex exchange project. My fear is not to join fake or scam projects.

whats important is to have more wins than loss in any investment. thats why one needs to learn and keep learning as much as you can. but never let your previous losses make you miss out on incoming opportunity. an opportunity missed is more worst than any losses.

That's should be a trading definition than investment, even both of them always looking for profit (win > lose). A trader will always check their portfolio per day regularly, while an investor doesn't care it's loss or profit on a single day... because they're looking for long term investment.

Actually, the risk is everywhere and it is something unavoided. But for me, the biggest fear is the safety of my crypto assets once I put it on an exchange. Sometimes, I am quite worried that someone hacks my exchange account and steals my crypto coins. Even if I have done everything properly, but as long as it is connected with the network (internet), I assume there is always a chance for hackers to steal it. However, well, it is a risk that we must accept to work in the digital world like be a trader or investors of crypto coins.

My biggest fear is keeping up with the whole Crypto news, events and market. Trading is really hard and near impossible to know the market directions using graphs Any good news small or big can get market crazy and make you FOMO and that same for bad news I mean sometime it just makes you bite yourself for missing out and then you are mad for getting in..Just too many questions to ask yourself

If you keep worrying on exchange it is better if you will only deposit in exchange that is reliable and trusted for you to remove your anxiety about it. When it comes to trading, I keep avoiding cryptocurrency that is recently listed because most of them are keep dumping and that is why I only buy old tokens like ETH, XRP and LTC.

You mean, scam projects? In everything that we decided to do, there's a risk associated. If we don't take the risks and be a coward forever, how can we possibly achieved our goals?
Previous lame projects make today's crypto projects become more careful and meaningful to create. We all had a bad experienced before with those projects but that doesn't necessarily mean that all of them are crap. Just choose wisely, be vigilant and do some good observations.

Number one fear is dev running from the project this is the worst of all second fear is the number failed to get in the market and they are being traded in a low-class exchange with no liquidity and volume at all and my third fear is when the project is not updating the platform and the developers are not active anymore in any of their social media account.

fear is important so that we are more careful in carrying out anything, especially in crypto, don't let fear stop a step forward, there will be gems behind the reef, if we can't break through the barrier then we will never be able to get results that maximum.

1- Scammers developers: that is the main issue with new currencies. Nothing worse than investing in a project which is discontinued any time by the team behind it. Then promoters and enthusiasts lose money and reputation towards crypto community while developers vanish.

2- Low adoption: sometimes the developer team is very present and attentive, but the currency still needs adoption and support from crypto enthusiasts to achieve success, otherwise it will be a failure anyway.

3- Worthless features: the second point may be just a consequence of this one. As the currency doesn't offer any exciting new feature, investors won't dive in, so it's also a big fear when investing. You must ask yourself how useful this currency will be for its users. If you can't think about any good point, forget about investing on it.

Those are the three most feared points investors have in mind when investing in altcoins.

With those mentioned pointers, those are the reasons why sticking with bitcoin and top popular alts is better than investing in new coins. For instance, if you are holding bitcoin, you very well know that it will not disappear in the market but with those new ones, you have no assurance if they can keep their market or not. In terms of adoption, obviously, bitcoin is leading the pack. There are more merchants accepting bitcoin as compared to other secondary alts like eth, xrp or bcash.

 dont you know that there are great projects too along those newer ones  . you will regret not joining them  but who wouldnt be ? even me i also feel regret especially seeing good comments about those hunters that joined a profitable campaign recently  because we all here wants to earn and big earnings are always better than small  . we should be fearless starting now

It is inevitable that you invest in this market and you need to have a reasonable investment strategy to minimize risks. Everyone has their own fears, but if you do nothing, you will not be able to make a profit from this market. Almost all investors have a very difficult time when the market can not increase prices well and the bear market overwhelmingly makes the loss of money occur continuously. Now the situation is getting better and this is an opportunity for you to make money back because this year is expected to be a good year.

Scams are sure everyone who plays crypto is afraid of this word getting stuck in the project he is following. ICO era many projects ended Scam, but in the IEO era also can not be denied and avoided Scam is still haunting. However Crypto is still sexy and promising in my opinion

Getting involve in a scam project is the worse because it means losing your hard-earned money. If we say new crypto, we cant set aside the thought of scam or shitcoins this is due to numerous scam projects that has the same goal and no concrete future to offer for the investors. Though there are also hidden gem in these new coins, the problem is its going to be hard finding that one.

I really admire the creation cryptocurrecy project that I thought it made quite complicated and needs a good concept to create  cryptocurrency that can compete with the top coin. the thing I feared most in the crypto was when I was fooled by a new project that scam if I want to invest in a project ico most I fear the coin priced dump when listing on this exchange that makes people afraid to invest in ico.

actually not a bad fear, because I admit that working in a bounty campaign does not have to spend capital and just spend time. but I think that's enough, and if the bounty fails, there's no need to be too sad because we don't spend money. unless you invest, the fear that you experience is if the price goes down and does not go up, just like a trader.

It's good to have fear and sometimes it's just a prove that what you are about to do isn't safe, I believe I you come across a very interesting project you will know that it's safe, for example I don't expect anyone to be in a fear state if you see project like Avalanche (AVA)

Most new projects are been built and released by unreliable CEO and team, fear is still very much present and investors are still having hard time believing new projects, can't blame them that's why IEO is more preferable than other crowdfunding for newbies.

Crypto currency is a breakthrough creation but there is bad side about what makes make it more scary wherein people used it create scam schemes that already had many victims all over the years. Greed what made them to do it hence it involves money and some people with that state of mind will always be end up always. I admire legit projects that wanted to innovate payment evolution through blockchain technology that will give positive output in the world of crypto currencies and wishing more people like that.

being a longtime player, the thing that scares me the most is buying ico, ieo fraudulent projects because I lost some money on them, now I only join ieo on reputable exchanges, level Highly competitive but low risk

That is the legitimacy of new projects, there are many new projects created in the past few years. But without too many successful projects, most of them died and made many investors at a loss. I have participated in many ICOs and lost a lot of money with it

Investors have learned a lot they will not support a project easily unless they can prove that they are legit projects and their product is unique and will benefit investors just like the Oikos project, it gained success and support because it's a defi project and everyone are talking about Defi now.

Cryptocurrency market can be observed and searched. The more experience there will be. There is a risk of being added to some crypto projects. A lot of time is spent and nothing is found by working. I have no fear in crypto. Because I am a conscious lover of cryptocurrency. There are many new cryptos in this digital world. So you have to win without fear. Research and time must be given for this. If in doubt, find out where the risks are. Only then will you experience cryptocurrency.

People become more frustrated than they have confidence in the new coil. Because the price at which people buy coins at the market is not the price. This has reduced a lot of confidence in people. Seeing such a situation, people no longer want to invest. That's why people can't trust new coins.

Fears and doubts would be the reason why investors to fail to invest in a project, and that is because of the lack of knowledge about crypto.
They will never have that fear if they educate themselves  as that will make them ready to face the risk.

Actually, I had a lot of losing experience in the past and that makes me learn a lot as well, if we are realistic, we will consider investing as gambling, but even better than gambling as when we are investing, we have an opportunity to study the project, unlike in gambling where most of the time, you just call a game of luck, but having a gambler's mentality, that would help to face the risk and will not fear it.

My biggest fear is missing out on good microcap projects because I don't have enough BTC/ETH left to invest in them. Happened to me multiple times hence the fear.

Every new coin could become a dead coin after several months. Sad but true

True! I worry that most of the new projects just copycatting old ones without having any new development. It really harms the cryptocurrency world in general and investors in particular. Having new and significant developments on new projects can be very attractive. The reason is that people who come to the cryptocurrency world in order to seek for useful apps, they can have the reason to come back. Another reason is that with new development, the project will be more likely to have good value in the market which is good for investors.

New crypto coins easily turn scam, that's my biggest fear in this industry but still I know better return of investment is assured if you invested on new altcoins that's why I'm willing to take risks on new altcoins

It sure is scary nowadays to join Airdrops because when I first joined Cryptocurrency, earning from Airdrops was easy. All you have to do was give your wallet address and wait for the tokens or coins to be given. Nowadays, its really hard to look for legitimate Airdrops since more and more people are complaining and posting about how they got scammed when joining Airdrops.

Another thing to always watch out are those projects that really invest a lot then once they got enough profit, they will now turn their back to the people who promoted them and scam them for their money.

If you know how to look and if you are investing only funds that you are are comfortable in losing then go invest, people lose interest on new coins because so many projects are failing and developers running away, investors are losing money, it's been a long time that we have a good projects that's worth investing and this is very risky for small investors.

Their price drops significantly after being listed on exchanges. That or they pump and dump after being listed on coinmarketcap attracting investors with hype and trapping them on high prices. Usually they take advantage that they are new projects and so they are able to hype investors early without really achieving anything relevant in the short term. Then as months go by, they start to underperform and usually become stagnant. That happens to the majority of projects. However, if they are solid reputable projects, they might still use these hype tactics, but they will stay for longer, recover and even surpass prices. So I anyways rather wait some time whether its a good or bad project. I let time tell.

I have no fear in new coins because I don't pick ICO projects or IEO projects that plan to use small exchanges to raise fund, I'm interested in making quick profits and only IEO from top exchanges can net me that, for example binance

The reason why people doubt the new crypto is that many users already know the fear of being scam after long months of working and supporting the project then they only get was nothing. You cannot blame them not to trust them anymore. We should learn the fact that these scammers will always be there and we should need to identify them so that we can avoid them. We’re not just bounty hunters of the project but also we join them in order to support them.

As we know that crypto is prone to fraudulent practices, it has often happened by exploiting the popularity of crypto, individuals trying to take this opportunity. My advice is that if you plan to invest in crypto, especially if you want to try investing in a new project, it would be good for you to analyze it before you really regret it later.

Which is why you should always consider to only support projects that you actually like, actually use and actually believe in. Then you never see yourself as "stuck" with them,,, but just with them for life, for as long as it is successful and you can get value from it. Is that not how all projects work? Crypto or not:)

My fear in cryptocurrency is when I get stuck in an alternative coin that doesn't have price movements anymore and when I sell it will make me lose, and another fear is when I can't control my emotions when I have an altcoin that is easily affected by bad news.

New cryptocurrency has advantages, is that the increase can be very high,
with a note that the new project already has a name in large exchanges, such as ONE and CTSI

It’s the same thing with most people, nobody wants to be scammed. And new coins/projects are usually the ones that can turn out to be scammers if you don’t thread carefully.

Sometimes I just think that it’s best to avoid them and go for the old coins that are already well known and we know for sure that they won’t be leaving the market for any reason, just like Bitcoin that has proven to be strong for years now despite the challenges that it has gotten through. Sometimes new projects can even be lacking enough funds to carry on with their project, and it can lead to them quitting or trying a take a break for some time.

I fear, the country I live in may ban all cryptocurrencies. Not sure what will happen then to my assets. Another factor is having regulations and how much we can have from it. Also, have the fear of getting scammed or losing the price of the coin more than 90%.
Having said so, I am also optimistic on assets I am holding and someday price may reach near bitcoin value :)

Now I want to live my life without fear. Fear always costs you more than your regular situation. Now I don't invest in any new projects, you shouldn't be afraid of listed coins. Even some new projects are also promising, if they are managed by some of the top bounty managers. Actually now my only fear is my own team managing project.

Nothing to fear, its a market like others, people should stop investing in every other new coin and be sensible. Devs should work on their coins which they created and give their lifetime to that project. By lifetime i mean dont create coin after every other week and stick to one.

What makes me fear in crypto is when I invest in a new project and after several months his team fails to achieve its goals and promises and in the end my investment is shitcoins that have no value and not included in the exchange platforms, As for the bounty work, the fear is that you choose a project that is not good and does not pay you what you deserve in the end.

The fears are pretty standard for me since i just started here. New crypto-currencies are harder to verify since they just started, i tend to stick to currencies known to my friends first to be safe.

Living crypto life with fears will not make us a profitable one. If we keep on entertaining fears in our lives, we will not see the real value of crypto that is already in front of us. Take risks and invest in crypto with the amount we can afford to lose so we will not be much frustrated if in the end our investment fails.

We can’t denied the fact that most scam project are new crypto currency so most of investors have fear of investing to these tokens and because of that many tokens are failing due to lack of investors. My fears in new crypto currency are always there, you can’t guarantee 100% of your analysis will be favor of success of the project. Money and your effort in reviewing will be faded if the project failed or scam.

This fear will certainly be experienced by investors when investing in new projects, because new projects sometimes make investors believe about their projects and the benefits they will get and they sometimes give promises to enter large markets, that is what they often promise investors , which makes afraid to invest in new projects

There was no guarantee for you mate, I know that you were talking about the insurance when you were investing in the new coin but it's depend on what exchange site that will be backed the coin.
If that was a major exchange site and that's true you will always get good ROI

My fear on new Crypto is can the dev keep up with the development of their project, some developers are just abandoning their project after they made money from their projects and because of this investors are losing money, coin is delisted in the exchange and holders cannot liquidate.

I agree, I have been into some projects where developers are pretending to have a product in progress with continuous updates. Once the project had some good market volume or demand, without investors knowing the team is slowly dumping their token for their own sake. It's difficult to find a precious gem among new projects now, due to some investors are even reluctant to stay in a project for too long.

But, we must not cross-out the fact that even the top altcoins that are trusted today faced the same circumstances and even accusations before yhey grew this big. Just be cautious of what project to support and when to leave a project, never HODL for too long.

when the price of a new coin is dumped, the one who is to blame is the developer who does not provide the latest development updates that can provide many uses that use coins or tokens that are developed where it can affect the price of the project being developed.

I need a long time to invest in cryptocurrency projects, honestly, I am very doubtful when I want to invest. In a few years, I could only invest in 1 to 2 projects with relief. Because the cryptocurrency project is very vulnerable. But to do bounty or airdrop work, I didn't experience any fear because I didn't spend money on it, I did spend a lot of time and thought but I felt fine.

In my opinion, first of all, everything depends on the development team. As they plan, this will be the further development of events. An example is the Cartesi project, which is listed on the binance rating exchange.Besides, they partially unlock tokens so that there is no massive drain of coins on the exchange.In addition, in recent years, the coin has risen by almost 40% in price. it means not only the project is promising, but the team's actions are correct.

New coins must also be distinguished, not all new coins experience dumps, many new coins now rise quickly,

In crypto world anything happen,here is always a risk involve.I study about the project I have decided to invest but project can be scam or after coin listing price will be low.Its a initial headache of me.But my biggest fear is some projects create so much hype and they collect lot of money.But they never list on any exchange.If new project list on exchange,then there is a chance you can get back your money but if it is not listed or give any news then its a hell of a depressing.So I fear most that they will not list their coin in exchanges.

feeling worried because of fear of losing money that has been invested in several new projects will be a major factor felt by all investors in this industry. the number of fraudulent projects that provide a sweet promise to investors can certainly be a consideration for people who want to invest in it, so that it can cause a sense of doubt. but there are some people who have the courage to invest in new projects and of course in the end before the ICO ends fear will surely come to them because it becomes a determination of the related project will succeed or vice versa

There are just lots of risk lingering by investing in new cryptocurrency nowadays, especially for the newbies or inexperienced ones in the space.  One of the major reasons being that, many of these new projects are more of a scam than truth.  Some people will just crate some fake coins/tokens, gather some dollars from innocent ones and run away.  This has negatively affected the good image of crypto space from new investors.

My greatest fear in crypto is getting hacked or losing my private key or mnemonic phrase, hence losing my assets. Fear of losing funds to investment is normal, since it encourages you to do more research before investing.

My always fears in new Cryptocurrency projects is scam as some projects are there to scam innocent investors. No one can predict how sincer some team are because of previous encounters. I have witnessed alot of damages from new projects and team will list and dump instantly on investors.

 The crypto world is full of ups and downs,  my fear is not losing all my capital investing in one unsuccessful  project . i have already lost much in the past , and even during this trending DeFi i have invested and lost some money in some of them . i noticed that the one i am afraid to enter is the one that makes people rich . 

Well , 1st would be the lack of development. The 2nd would be that the team won't fully disclose the team behind the project as this could affect their trust in the long term run. Lack of at least 1 medium exchange would badly affect the project as this will not attract new investors so yea this is why I don't like new cryptos as we already have the bests ones out.

investing with an ICO project or with cryptoqurrency always has its own risks, there is no such thing as investing always in your favor, of course there are times when you experience a loss or profit. for me fear in the crypto industry especially when I wrongly invested my money with a dead project, the product did not develop and mostly came from new projects.

Learned more especially with your securities it's the best way to avoid being hacked, also learned how
to protect yourself  from scammers keep being

Experienced will allow you to pick the right project though you missed those opportunities but time
will come and you'll be able to catch up with the right team that will gives you good outcome, who
knows getting rich are reserve for you.

My fear after the bear market is never be in the state I was in the last bear market; holding so many altcoin into the bear and selling at a massive loss at the price dip. Strategy is to sell at the peak of the market and buy at the low of the market. Another fear is to hold a scam coin, coins that may never get on exchange, delist from exchange and hack on the proect

I think the highest fear of all, which i have also experienced is to keep in coin in my wallet for years without being able to trade it against a value. I have had one of such in the past and an abandoned wallet for that matter. Most of the coins had in them, although were airdrop. I only bought few, mainly on DEX, te then folkdelta. The history of those coins today cannot be traced.

It looked like all of your coins have died. I have the same experience as you too, I have been getting trapped last year when there were so many the scam icos and I have bought some scam coins. The scam project is something that makes everyone fear to invest in Rico.

Yes, in the crypto world we cannot carelessly invest in new projects, it needs to be more thorough and more careful so as not to get caught up in a scam project which results in losses for investors. What often happens is that it is for novice investors but it is also possible that seniors can also be fooled

There are several factors that I am currently looking on regarding the promotion of new projects and cryptocurrencies.

1. Full transparency (project updates, activities, transactions through the blockchain, etc.)
2. Team members with real and verified LinkedIn accounts
3. Legitimacy of their partnership claims
4. Frequent social media activity (especially videos coming from CEO and other team members facing the camera)
5. Marketing budget in fiat, BTC or ETH (not their own coins or tokens)

One concern that I want to address these new projects are having too much giveaways. I know one project that is doing that, and it results for their token to severely dump in the exchange. And also, I have a little concern regarding social media promotion. There are some bounty hunters who are promoting the projects in their Facebook timeline and ended up without reactions or engagements, which seems useless traffic. I'm suggesting that these bounty programs must enhance their pre-qualifying measures for the participants to join.   

Every job in life has risks and you have to work with the risk potential. Maybe for fear of this risk you may lose a job that could change your life. So I think it's better to invest in what you see and hear without worrying about your risk. Best wishes for cryptrocurrency.

Risks and fear aren't same thing, I know where to put my money so I don't have fear when investing in crypto coin, I have top coins and for new coins I only join IEO on binance launchpad, I always make my profit

You're right, risk and fear are two different things. however, in the cryptocurrency world that has very volatile prices, I am only afraid when the price of a coin that I hold turns out to be very low. Well, because of that, I always check the price of everyone who remembers it.

Interestingly enough, I found myself fearful when I'm thinking about investing something on the dip, but rationally I understand that it is the right decision.
Considering risks is way more practical than following the fears

I am only fear if I don't have enough time to understand clearly about this market before it developes so fast and I will be left behind with old knowledges

tbh it all comes down to your luck anyway, being in the dip or at the bottom doesnt mean it can't go even down further or eventually have no price but if you have the guts to invest and turns out that the price is pumping I'd still consider that as lucky. There's just no clear sign whether something is going to go up or down at that point.

Most of the tokens died due to the inaction of their team but many investors out there feel that they have not died because of them and some numbers have been for panic sellers. It is also seen that the team of some good projects is willing to return the capital of every investors but never do all these projects.

I feel the safest way not to be left out as you learn is to buy some top coins, maybe 10 of the coin with a small amount. The risk in the top coins is low and the value can be kept. You might likely stay away from anonymous coins and bitcoin fork coin at the moment. They are not bad coin but they are not that predictable in the present market,though they will make profit but market with  use cases could be changing with price.

The rate of scams in cryptocurrencies is very alarming as an investor you are not sure of the credibility of any project now even with much media presence and coverage it is not a yardstick of determining the authenticity of the projects investment in cryptocurrencies is more less like gambling now you wouldn't have any confidence in any investment due to the past fraudulent activities perpetuated by some unscrupulous individuals who hides under the  cover non-regulating feature of cryptocurrencies and whose sole aim is to defraud innocent investors of their hard earn money this is my greatest fears in cryptos.

I am only afraid of projects that do not keep their promises. Groups and projects were very active before IEO or IEO, but after ICOs and IEOs, the group gradually became quieter and disinterested in the community, after which the price collapsed many times and the group disappeared from the market. That's what makes me afraid of new projects, too risky to invest

Most of the new projects are keep failing in the part of listing their tokens because they do not habe enough fund to list it in a exchanges that are reliable and trusted. Those altcoins are usually experiencing huge dump after they got listed in the market, and it is the reason why I avoiding to trade new listed coins because of the lack pf data and information about that coin.

My strategies are always based on technicals so basically price action and the trend is important to me when I do trading. I have fear to trade new coins out there because I know it is very risky and there is a high chance that I can lose my money in there.

Aside from risk that we all know it's a part of cryptocurrency investment, i fear that in the future cryptocurrency there are many projects going to show and only few would be successful, i fear that a bunch of new projects would turn out to be a scam and fraud projects only.

I've been in the cryptocurrency space for a while now and have been able to save up some coins hoping that the value would increase so I can make some money. My fear is to wake up to see that the space is no longer active. I've had to content with the fact that some projects would run away and others would fail, but I don't think I'll be able to take the news that the cryptocurrency industry has packed up.

It's actually very difficult to find someone who invest time or resources into this space and hasn't made any loss. Many exchanges are always there for the users, in case of an Exchange hack too most of the exchanges restore the funds of the users from the pool of the exchange bitcoins and still run profitably in the long term and some of the exchanges just take the hack as an excuse and shut their doors completely taking away the users funds with them.
The only punishment that they can get is that the old users would withdraw their funds and go to another exchange, there should be something harsh than this, maybe downgrading their ranking on the exchange ranking websites or something else so that the exchanges would start thinking about their security more seriously than they are currently doing.

I can't imagine how a project failed after a long support without a weak team. In cryptocurrency, scam projects are always higher but long term projects are always successful.

Well I guess my fear in crypto is when the owner or the CEO of the project run without any words together with the investment of many people and it will return to be scam even if the project was quiet good but now I learn from it I'm not going to waste my time on some project that I know just using to hype some and fell that it would be run.

 My greatest fear is that one day i might wake up to see my crypto assets becoming worthless , i faced a situation in January 2018 when i bought BTC at 14k$ and since then till now the price has refused to go baack to that ATH of 20k$. since then i have this fear that one day all my  crypto assets may just  lose  value and may not go back to my cost price as such i may lose all my capital.

I fear that they will not just be scam, because I usually can sense a scam, but they will set out to do something and will promise us what they will do and then suddenly turn into people who think they deserve better and needs to be paid or something to actually achieving what they are doing. Same as XRP for example, not many people knows this but XRP wasn't really a coin that was invested or traded or anything, it was something like a payment processor thing, it didn't need to have a price at all.

Look at them now, they are making tens of millions of dollars and just print more XRP for themselves, they went crooked.

My fear is that, it's very hard to trust new projects nowadays unlike before.  Majority of these projects are with the intention of making some money and neglect the project's development, thereby leaving investors at a loss.  Scammers creating fake projects are just too numerous nowadays.

1.Identify with project with reliable reputation.

my fears on new crypto, most of the new cryptos are not going through the ieo phase. look at the recent ieo on this forum, they didn't even went through and then even though they passed that phase when they listed their coins in exchange it would worth nothing, because the devs itself dont even care after that. if devs really care about the projet after listed on exchanges then it would be fucking great

If we especifically talk about current trends especially defi i have completely distant myself from them, yes i do look into if a top serious project comes up but their have been too many scam and fake projects recently which has also just killed this booming trend. The scammers just damaged the trend and now no one is investing even one cent in new defi projects.
This will only change if we have a screening process or atleast somehow we can only invest in top quality projects and ignore low quality projects.

Some dev is only concern on money and disregard the investors.
Thats why projects are failing to have worth and became worthless.

Actually Ieo can be a good opportunity, but choose a large and trusted exchange, and immediately let go when you make a profit because Ieo is not good enough in the long run. always take advantage of first-day trading, usually, the profits increase there.

My biggest fear is for newbies to be hyped on those projects without doing any research first. They bought because someone said to them it's good but at the time when they buy it's on a high price. If they're lucky that the coin will pump more then I hope they take profit quickly. But what if the opposite happens, they bought late then hodl it for a long time hoping for that coin to rise again.

Well in my opinion the fears that many people see in cryptocurrency are mainly has something to do with their lack of knowledge with Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency in general. It is not really fear but basically, their hesitation in investing their money to these coins because they do not have anything that could back up that coin and sometimes their "laziness" in trying to find the information for them would also point as a reason for their fear. In the beginning when I started investing in bitcoins I was afraid that the prices could drop over night and make my holdings worthless, but I have been around for years now and know that the even when prices drop, they will just recover in a few weeks. My main fear in crypto currencies these days is that the government could try to fight them, either by outright banning them and make crypto currency transaction illegal. I'm fear of the new cryptocurrency itself, the blockchain is built from a trait that is "trust" but the presence of something new could change the word trust to "lie / scam". Actually, fear is something we have to fight to see something new and we can learn from it. Some things that I think can be considered fearful when talking about cryptocurrency are FOMO or regret what I have decided. It is back again, that we have to improve every moment.

Scam project is not new because it's already happening in the cryptocurrency in the last few years ago by doing getting enough information to one project you can know what is legit or not and you will not afraid anymore because you know the project is legit.

I notice a circus in the new cryptocurrency, They do the marketing, fend for the partners and get exchanges easily for the project. IMO every cycle will produce some impactful project that will lead the next bull market

In my case, what I really fear in crypto is when the governments will start to ban the usage of crypto currency because this will surely create a big problem to almost all of us who holds it.

We will be having a difficulty in cashing it out and what is worst, we will be in jailed if in case the government will implement this sanction for the users of crypto currency after their ban. I will just hope that our government will continue to support crypto currencies and will not ban it in the future.

I would even say that fear should be in every action related to cryptocurrencies. It will not let you relax and the person will  again check the correctness of the address for sending coins, etc. Otherwise, it may be a situation like with AAVE, when the coins went to the address of the smart contract

The biggest fear isn't seeing a coin's future after investing in it for a few years. HDAC (Hyundai) raised $ 258m but the results are very bad after 3 years of waiting, waiting too long is very scary.

It is always been the same because cryptocurrency can give you profits or steal your funds. Stealing in a way that the market is going down whenever you buy a certain coin.

The only fear I got from new cryptocurrency is that as soon as they got listed on exchange and dump by hunters it dies right away. I had lots of tokens who ended up in that way and even some of them never got listed, all of my time and effort just become a waste for nothing. There's even a tokens worth of a penny.

In crypto, I always fear the funds that I have. Because many big exchanges can not secure its funds too from hackers. So it is too difficult to secure my funds so far. And the other, thing is coins or tokens further utility. I have some tokens and coins which I can not sell right now because it has no utility as they promised in their roadmap.

My only fear is related to things that I cannot control.
I am paranoid thinking that my system can be compromised, and one day scammers will be able to gain access to my wallets and withdraw funds from them.
I am taking every precaution, however we never know when one falls into this kind of trap.

My greatest fear is in the honesty and commitment of the team to the project as most projects are not really decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). So any issues with the team impacts the project heavily. If the team is dubious and exit scam or stops developing the project, the token dies straight up.

I have only one fear of getting caught by scammers or hackers. Already several times I have lost money in projects where the contract was hacked or scammers were behind the project. Most of the new cryptocurrencies are just a bunch of people mostly repetitive trying to scam people for some money or trying their wild ideas with others money without any dedication. I don't mean every of them are useless but it's getting harder for investors to choose one. I have for a large time restricted myself to established coins for trading and if done, I try new coins for a short term.

Nowadays everything is much focused on money making and there is no product that drives the market for the project. When money is the primary focus, automatically things will go away from the reality. Whenever we make an investment it is a must to analyse the new cryptocurrency and the backing, because most of the time these cryptocurrencies pump high in a short and goes off from usage. When price pumps it isn't possible to make trade as it gets listed in one or two exchanges that doesn't have any big volume.

It's only natural that many are afraid to invest in the crypto world because we have seen many new projects that end at a loss to investors, but the benefits that can be obtained if the project we join successfully enters the exchange is very tempting.
Doing in-depth research of various sources of information will reduce your fear and the courage to see the benefits will arise.

Cryptocurrency is a very high-risk investment, because mass adoption has not yet been carried out,
and 2020 is just the beginning, paypal, Microsoft, Google are starting to use blockchain and Bitcoin,

The fear I have in new Cryptocurrency is the developers, as it's goes down the trend in the blockchain....a new Cryptocurrency will tend to rise and suddenly go very low even in price, cos the developers could not really build it enough to lunch it in the blockchain

How come Microsoft, Google, paypal and others accepting crypto currencies make the fears on crypto currencies fade away? With them accepting crypto currencies, nothing has changed. All problems currently lying down are still the same! In fact, none of them actually directly accepts crypto currencies. They use third party payment processors to accept the coins on behalf of them. The third party converts the coins to fiat and gives it to them. So this means, they aren't directly accepting cryptocurrencies.
By the Microsoft has been accepting bitcoin for a very long time. They aren't new. And working with blockchain doesn't mean they are working with crypto currencies. Blockchain has many other uses, not just for developing crypto currencies.

there is a lot of fear about new projects or new cryptoqurrency for several reasons including not being able to last long in the market, usually the new coins once pumping to a high price are difficult to raise the price again, besides investing in new coins is also high risk compared to old coins that have been listed on the CMC top market.

I have no fear of cryptocurrencies, I am just afraid of crowds being led by manipulative organizations.  In short, I'm pretty afraid of cooperating with rich people to control the market with the bitcoins they have.  As I am a part time traders it is not easy to follow the market's behavior.
there was also the bounty campaign scam, which was my biggest fear.  Although bounty hunters have lamented the issue a lot, admins at Bitcointalk have yet to come up with a plan to deal with the problem. :'(

The manipulation are really scary especially if you have high position and then suddenly a huge dump appear, most of the new projects have manipulators where the volatility really spike hard. Imagine you buy then suddenly huge dump appeared, how can you able to handle it? it is the reason why I often avoid buying new token that is recently listed because most of it are just dumping so for me it is better to avoid than to incur huge amount of losses.

Manipulative action is absolutely not justified because it will only benefit a few parties. I don't think it will happen to top coins, maybe it's just some "new projects" that have such an action. so before investing in a new project make sure you do thorough research as a preventative measure.

every new cryptocurrency always offers that they will be the best and will be able to shift Bitcoin, Ethereum, or others. in fact, that new cryptocurrency has become useless because it is simply not in demand. it's better to just focus on obvious old cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

This means only one thing, you bought at the wrong time. Please note that thoughts about what to buy bitcoin come to you only when bitcoin starts to grow, you buy it and watch a prolonged fall.

a lot of fear with new cryptocurrencies especially if new coins turn into junk coins, apart from that another fear when seeing some of my favorite coins actually go down, then like a Hack happened because We don't want to lose our entire portfolio or change our portfolio instead. but I know that Cryptocurrency is scary sometimes but also very profitable.

Rugpulling everywhere, losing money is the biggest fear for every crypto user and for me as well. I already experienced it so if it happens again it will be disastrous, I already change my approach in investing by taking an eye to uniswap. If its successful and not dump too much then its a legit project, I always make a profit doing it it give me around 80% investment success but the fear of rugpull is still there so just DYOR.

This was the main cause of fear by entering cryptocurrency and even by investing in a new rising coin or altcoin. Scam were almost everywhere and i don't get it why people were happy to used this inhumane strategy to get a high profit which will not cause them a lot of time of waiting and an instant high profit. And it is so hard to identify which altcoin were worth investment that's why a only tips that everyone tells was to stick to the proven altcoins like ETH.

One of the things that might a cryptocurrency die is when investors stop investingg and when people are not using anymore. It will become senseless and useless because when that happen it means that the value of a specific coin is too low. If many people are suddenly stopping from being active in crypto it is also a factor. How about those bigtime crypto users when they stop too? Mu fear is the unpleasant welcoming of other member to new members.

I am always wary of new projects in cryptocurrency. Before taking part in them in any way, I try to study them, this is especially important when investing. It will be very unfortunate to lose your time, and especially money when the project turns out to be a scam.

My real fear of crypto is when I invest in scam projects. my previous experience was like that. when the project owner or CEO goes wordlessly along with the investment of many people and it will come back to being a scam even if the project is good enough but now I learn from it I'm not going to waste my time on some projects that I know are only used to promote some and fall that it will run.

Keep in mind that doing research on a project team is the basic of crypto investing, because the decision maker is in the hands of the team. make sure if you want to follow or invest in a project, they have a credible team, at least already known in the blockchain space. and the second is the project itself, projects without real use cases will eventually die by themselves and development is likely to stop halfway because they don't know what else they have to do. make sure the project has a use and also offers an accurate solution

There will be many more new projects and this is great. I believe that you should not be afraid of new things, the most important thing is that these are worthy projects that will make our life better and more interesting, as well as create competition in the market, this is also very important.

i believe that i will not surprise nanyone here if i will wright that only fear in new cryptocurrency that it turns out that that project is scam) second moment that project will give up when it will face with difficulties. that is all. if you have enough patience you will get profit. tomoprrow or in two years.

There are many reasons for fear in the new cryptocurrency.

yes i have some fear about some Projects the project is good but i have some fear the project token price is very low ans project has scam and now a days token price down are High any time it's not good for me i have some fear project are good potential but hold are ttoken any time price is down now selling not received minimum investment now i have some fear i know some technical analysis not good technology analysis this is my fear

Definitely the most feared one. Aside from having all coins down to zero which I think is impossible to happen. Since you for an instance put some money in a certain projects and the team was not able to deliver what you want them to be, the project might turn into a failure which may lead to lose of your investment,.

I am never afraid of new projects because I always do research before investing, that's the same when the old project now becomes a new project right! so it's no different from the current new project

I think I have most popular fear in crypto - FOMO. Every time I see in my portfolio, how bitcoin or any other altcoins price goes down for +5% I wish either sell it immediately, either exchange to USDT. I have already burned myself many times selling on such drop and seeing how the price goes back and up in few hours... Cant do anything with it...

the problem is your own psychology in dealing with extreme market situations. it's very natural, but you have to be able to handle it. try short-term investments in less risky assets like ETH and other top assets. start slowly, the more often you do investment and trade and market analysis I think you will definitely get used to it and will not be nervous and panic again.

Failure or scam are two of the most common reason investor fear new project. Research can help you determine potential project, but it cant guarantee that they will not fail in the end. There is always a risk investor must consider if they want to invest in a project and that doesn't just apply to new project as all altcoin project have the same potential to fail to thrive and maintain their strength in the market.
