I had never seen too the ANN thread of Huobi exchange, I used this exchange for years so far I didn't encounter any problem and yeah right, they had already gained a good reputation from the trader's community.
In fact, I'm a part of telegram group of Huobi, the @huobiglobalofficial. Anyway, I saw this article a few days ago. OP did not talk about who Huobi is securing stuff but rather some generic blabbering about the exchange. Very likely the OP is not associated with Huobi. As per their post history, they shill Huobi very often. The above link posted there might end up getting edited very soon to some scam site. It is a common tactic of spammers to edit the links into the text after the thread getting some replies in. Better be safe than sorry because once hack been done then theres no way on retrieving those coins back. Huobi might not able to have these hacking issues but who knows that it would happen tomorrow. This exchange has never been hack but I don't think it's unhackable because all exchange are vulnerable to hacking, though Binance has been hacked before but what I like about them is they survived from that hacked, so I hope Huobi would also survive in case it will be hack in the future, of course I am not hoping it will happen but I'm being realistic on every possibility. They able to maintain their good name while in the process and the result is what we see today. They are heavily regulated and that makes it more "secure". However, we all know that even for reputable exchanges, we can just put our 100% trust on it. But the good thing here is, it's worth putting some risks here, way better than just using random exchanges. It's obvious that OP is shilling the exchange but that's not a big deal for me.
