I am analyser of the crypto market and this time BTC will make a great pump but i hope that the ETH will also go so much up this year and soon all the ALT coins will go up in the market.

please explain your complete analyse how can ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020?, this look imposible for me to thinking it's happen at such time.

ETH last all time high is around $1000, so probably that will be the safe bet for now and then we talk after it reaches that high at the end of 2020 or 2021.

I'm not sure about your claim as a crypto price analyst. because what you give in this thread is like a post prediction that cannot be accounted for. what are the supporting factors of the claim you provided? as far as I know an analyst will add data, facts, fundamental and technical reasons why eth prices can reach these prices. if only mentioning ETH will reach 10,000, then I can also make a claim if ETH claim, will break $ 50.000 by the end 2021. After that, i will never go back to give explanation like OP.

Reading the title of your thread left me smiling and its an obvious fact that you're just wishing and not analysing. I understand there's nothing impossible in the cryptocurrency space as it relates to pumping, but your estimate on ethereum is impossible considering the time frame and the fact that ethereum still has an unlimited supply. If ethereum was as fixed as bitcoin, it could have been possible but as it stands, it's more of a wish, which may never come through before December

Well, your statement was bit of a history I've seen that one before and that's a 2017 complex by the way. I don't know or we don't know what is it this time for the market but I am all in it would be on the DeFi space.

I think its need miracle for ETH to can touch $10000 - $12000 at the end of 2020.

We only have 4 months to end 2020. So I don't think the price of ETH can go up as you expect. $ 400 for ETH is fantastic this year, and I think it could go up another $ 100-200 until the end of 2020.

I have doubt to you OP and I don't know if you're really a crypto analyzer/analyst or whatsoever because you didn't even put any basis that helps you to prove about the price of Ethereum. You can explain your analysis of how Ethereum will touch $10000 to $12000 at the end of this current year. I don't think Ethereum price will hit such price as it is now only $380 current price. If Bitcoin will continue its bull run and eth will continue its current trend, it can touch $1000 again by the end of this year but It is impossible to hit $10k to $12k.

Now it's Ethereum time. It's seems to reach upto 500$, so hold you Eth. Eth shows it's unbeatable one in the market. Many traders now converting all their altcoin to Eth and it's reason for keeps on increasing in price. Don't panic about market. A huge pump is yet to come.

I think so. It's impossible to reach 40 times in less than a year. The current price of ethereum looks so difficult to increase even with the help of ethereum 2.0

I may think the reversal trend may happen when it will be going back to the bottom again after the hype will have gone.

It can be possible that ETH may reach at the price level of $10,000 or even more. But you can't gauge the exact the time of year end of 2020. But, looking at the recent market of the crypto the momentum of the curve is saying that for this price level it will take maximum 5 month. But the momentum is a variable factor so, can be more or less and according to this the said price level for the Ethereum may take a long time even the mid of 2021. Moreover, we can say that this is the opportunity for the market.

Is a nice prediction, all the ETH holders would be happy as hell if that happens. But it will be really hard to see that price.. If i-m not wrong $1400 was the ETH all-time high... so, from $1.4k to $10k will be really hard to see.

Your idea is wrong for this period because to understand the eth market I can say the maximum will be limited to 400-500 $ this year in my mind. But you can always invest if you want because eth proves to be more profitable and hold profitable currency.

Of course, under no circumstances will ethereum be able to reach the $ 10,000-12,000 price point yet. This is so far unattainable even for this coin. Please tell us have you consulted some fortune teller or what because 10k seems too far away if you had said by 2023-24 still many could have agreed but i do not think so that market will grow that huge. Remember the gas fees are already rather high today and network utilization is already at 95% thanks to DeFi (Tether transactions on ETH network).

I am 99% sure it will not touch that price at end of this year or at any point until end of this year.  Price would need to increase 25 times. Transaction fee is now $1.4. At 25 times higher price fee will be $35. Excluding any increase of number of transactions. You believe that will happen $50-100 Eteherum transaction fees?

The only reason I could believe this, comes from the comparison of bitcoin 2017 run to ethereum run in 2020/21, At this time in 2016, bitcoin was around this price and the price moved from $400 to $19000 by the following year. Same here. $10k is a lot for eth. I believe that eth will rise but not to this price level. That is too much I guess. If you are expecting and relying your decisions just because eth will skyrocket to this price, please don't. You will be happy to see it at $1k already and that's a lot of profit but $10k, I don't think so. So just be vigilant with your investment guys!

It's your opinion and there is no guarantee on this. But some people might think that this is valid. Yes, it's truly volatile but you are giving price that are unbelievable and unreal.

I also see it as an exaggeration of the price prediction. I believe that ethereum has really high potentials that it can surpass another ATH this year or maybe early next year but let's be realistic about its capacity. It cannot compete with bitcoin this time because almost all of the people are expecting a huge surge of price this time but from bitcoin and not from altcoin. You claim yourself as an analyzer and yet you failed to give us a reason why Ethereum will jump to that level at a short period of time I admit Ethereum is doing great but I don't think it will just jump that high the highest it could go is $800 this year or another all time high of $2000 and we will all be happy with that.

Many things can happen that can affect the price of coins. For eth the upgrade is a good thing for investors because its an event that we've been waiting.

Nevertheless having a positive speculations regarding crypto is always good for holders since they are hoping it can really happen.

It will need time before ETH can touch $10k, and we don't know when it will happen. If ETH can touch $10k, I wonder how high bitcoin price can increase because that means, bitcoin price will be more than $100k-$500k in the future. And now, we are staying at below $400, but I am sure that the price will be back to up to $400 and break $500.

Before, I think ETH will hit $400 this year, 2020. Since it hit that mark right now, so next will be $800 for this year. 10-12k is way too much buddy because a lot of people are waiting for ETH to reach $1000-1400 to unload there bag which means there will be a massive resistance for ETH at that point. I think 600-800 should be a good mid-term target.

By the end of 2020 is a short span of time for ETH to multiply that huge. As you mentioned, if you are an analyst you should have provided your own opinion and supported your claim and why you have arrived in such prediction.

I wish it's true but this is wishful thinking there's no way this year Ethereum is going to reach $10k this year we are lucky if it reaches $1000 this year but $10000 I'm not saying it's impossible but there should be a reason why it will reach that level Defi is pushing but not enough for a big push to reach that level.

The title is quite misleading if this is a type error then he should correct it and change Eth to Btc it's more realistic if he posted btc but Ethereum there is no way it will reach that way people should be clear on the title of his thread to avoid confusion this one is really confusing, every reader will think he is talking about Ethereum.

The current ETH price is only $ 400, it can't even go to ATH this year. So I also believe that this prediction will never happen, we need to wait at least another 5 years to be able to see ETH at the price that OP has predicted.

I don't believe eth can achieve this price this 2020, if you say in the near future maybe this can happen, but in this year I highly doubt it, of course eth is a very standard project and have the potential to experience high price but not as high as you predict.

What I have understood is that if OP is talking of ETH then the amount predicated might be 1k to 1.2k and put an extra zero. Even 1k for now 2020 looks difficult and crossing 500$ itself would be a good thing as currently it is trading at 400$. So, an 20% gain in few months is a very good thing and it can rise further depends upon how well bitcoin continues to rise.

I believe this is the year for the cryptocurrency price to increase very high including Ethereum price, but even though Ethereum price will probably increase very high, I believe Ethereum price will not increase as you predict, because for the price of Ethereum it can touch $ 10,000 in my opinion it is very difficult to happen and according to my predictions the price of Ethereum will only be able to touch the price of $ 500-$ 800 for this year.

There's an adage that says if wishes were horses, beggar's would ride. I personally wish to see ethereum trading at such a value before the end of the year, but I sincerely don't see that happening. Although, thanks to the expected Ethereum 2.0, we are on the verge of grandiose events that will positively affect the Ethereum price. But if we talk about such high prices of ETH, in such a short period, that it really is akin to fantasy.

It will impossible to think such a rate can be achieved in this year and Im even feeling doubt if ethereum can reach such rate at this decade and it needs more than a decade for ethereum to be worthed more than 10k. Wow, the price prediction is fantastic and I was expecting it too, but it looks like you are too much. I thought that if the price of ETH was able to touch $ 1,000 alone it would be good for this year. The current market movements are quite significant, let's see the next good news from ETH and other cryptos.

OP just got himself carried by the rally of ETH 2.0 and too high on the cloud to see reality. No way even if he makes a wrong typo that the price $1k or $1,2 making any sense for the end of this year. Remember, we're already at Q3/2020 as the corona still loom around. Till everything recovers, I don't see any chance $1k or $1.2 could be possible for this year.

on this current bunch of stuck transactions on Ethereum platform that chrge a dollar fee for fast transaction i dont think that ETH would rise until  $12,000 as you predicted, even there is much project called DeFi launch on their platform, there is still problem for those selling thier token sale because of High gas fee situations, my prediction ETH will not going above 1000$ or reach their ATH before they finished ETH 2.0 network to settle current problem.

It could have just been an assumption, without basis. Ethereum is actually encountering so much recognition and support. It is growing. At least as at the time i left to, it has grown by almost double it's amount. Having known this, it does mean that there will be an incontrolable growth. All these coins have their limits.

I agree that 1000$ is a lot seeing the current scenario of the market and the total market cap and trading volume. All time high of Ethereum was 1500$ when the market was at its peak in January 2018. The market corrected itself drastically after that. Since then, the market has been growing gradually with ups and downs and I think the same is going to continue.

With such steady movements of the market, Ethereum won’t reach thousand dollars mark anytime soon at least not this year according to me. But the market being highly volatile, nothing can be predicted for sure.

$1k is still very big target for ETH to achieve this milestone it require a lot of adoption and awareness even DEFI hype doing very good job for it like the ICOs craze in 2017. Even everything is possible in world of blockchain but it is still hard to go through $1 although $400 is a big resistance for ETH and than move to $500.

In my opinion Ethereum needs to stagnate its price without relying on Bitcoin and that means that any single value can generate a future margin for Ethereum. However and with another point of view anything can happen in cryto but for a value of $10k or $12k to appear needs new updates or some promising news.

I think even there's an event or update that will happen its not realistic for eth to reach such value for this year 2020. But yes anything is possible since the market is unpredicted and cant change drastically.

First of all, Ethereum price needs to go back to the old ATH as this is the minimum price that needs to be reached before any other project can continue. I don't think ETH price can reach $10,000 right now because if that happened then surely everyone would have become very rich from this market. Ethereum at present is around $425, atleast a 20X growth is required to reach the mentioned $10000. We don't know when the market changes, without any prior indication the price can move upward or downward. Upon the same any form of growth is possible. I dont see that happening for a long time. Bitcoin will take a while to get their. ETH/BTC ratio is currently 3.5% and at best it can hit is like 10%. So BTC needs to be at 10 Trillion market cap. That wont happen for a LONG TIME.

It seems that ethereum 2.0 is always on hold, and when it will impact such a significant price hike is unclear. but if ethereum can quickly implement 2.0 the surprise is coming and prices will fly high

I won't be that bullish on Ethereum price reason being that there are some alternative solutions to Ethereum now on other chains, chains like Avalanche, Poldadot, Solano, Tezos and even Binance chain are coming out there year and if they are able to take some market share from ethereum before a good solution to its scaling solution that could be the begining of the end for ethereum

Ethereum is not a king of dapps anymore and the scaling issue is very nasty one of the factors that could hinder its growth. There are good alternatives in the crypto space like Binance, Tron, Tezos which are also making significant developments, no doubt that one of these projects or even underdogs could potentially dethrone Ethereum in the near future.

The OP says it will happen this year, and we have four months left to see it go up to $ 10k. With me, it was an impossible task, even ETH price is struggling at $ 400 and has not been able to hold it for the past few days.

ETH price at $10k = impossible.  seeing from Bitcoin has not yet broken the $ 100k price + the total circulation of Ethereum which reaches 112 million coins is very unlikely for Ethereum to be priced at $ 10k (till end 2020).  It's not nonsense that the growth in Ethereum price is influenced by Bitcoin..

Agree especially that ethereum ATH at the time of altseason is <$2000, it is very unlikely for ethereum to reach $10K when bitcoin is still the key to success of other altcoins, and if ethereum 2.0 is so I'm also not sure ethereum's price can go back to the time of the altseason.

Even if this is about happening, there are some certain period that will not allow it to happen. They will by all means try the pull it down andprevent fro attaining suc act. Reachig $1000 this might be a serious challenge.

I think some of the celebrity crack heads like John came up with this trend by calling insane amounts to bitcoin and now people are coming up with insane amount to any coin that they see fit. If we invest at the right time then you could profit from your investment as timing is everything.

it reached over $1400 in 2018 so I think if things go correctly it would cross its ath. I am not sure about $10000 just yet. it all depends on everything else thats going on in the market and eth doesn't have so much of influence over those things. I don't think OP was serious when this thread was created. No way to reach this kind of high price points for less than 6 months. The BTC price has to touch $40000 and the alt season has to start for ETH to reach those mentioned prices. Even 5 years are pretty less if you are targeting a $10k price for ethereum. Even if the ethereum price would double every two years that will also take more than 8 years for the price to reach $8k. Ethereum is facing a huge resistance above $450 to $500 and as the price has already fallen below $400 it will take more time to reach that price point of $500. Also the stock market is performing the same actions as the crypto market now a days and since it is also down this confirms that the price isn't gonna be in a bullish run for long.

 5 years may not be, we really don't know whats going to happen in 5 years, sure it could be too much if everything goes like this but if some things change we could actually see 10k ethereum. I don't think so, 10K is not possible mathematically to be reached. Maybe, it can be like 2017 big pump and reach 4K or 5K in the best conditions . But 10K no one can believe it else the bitcoin was low as ETH. The most important thing is to keep developing new blockchain projects related to ETH network.

If you take a look at the entire market ETH has made big strides when it comes to the price and it is not a small recovery from its bottom after the last correction. i would like to see ethereum's price hit the price it is writing on this thread. However, right now, I want to be realistic, and think that Ethereum's best price tag to date is 550 to $ 600. even when this year the ethereum price reaches this price, it could open up opportunities for the price to be higher in the following year. well, waiting for the price to be $ 5k or higher is not wrong. however, I think it will take an unpredictable amount of time for now.

ETH currently is at 380$ and when btc was near 11700 it was trading above 430$ or so. So mostly when bitcoin keep rising so does ETH and for that we require bitcoin to keep rising and thus it we will be seeing ETH can cross 500$ mark first and so on.  ETH near 1k mark itself will eb an achievement as in past few months we have seen ETH has being steadily rising well.

Not because YFI gain too much means ETH will do to.  YFI had only 30,000 token so it can be easily manipulated while ETH got hundreds of millions so it is kinda hard to manipulate  the growth price of ETH by multitude.  Lett ETH settle in thousands dollar first before saying it will touch $10k this year.

Yup! I'm realistic here to see ethereum price around $1000 end of this year. I just do not see that kind of progressive increase in volume as we make assumption such big amount. BTC price movements always play a big role to influence altcoins market, here things are correlate.

The fact that this is 16 pages long is mind boggling.  There is zero evidence to suggest that ethereum is going to be anywhere near $10k thats just absurd.  With bitcoin dipping a little this month that almost assures a lower usd for most of the other coins since they are inherently tied in with bitcoin pairs on exchange.

I agree with your thoughts because it looks like the price of eth $1000 at the end of 2020, is a fairly reasonable price rather than expecting $10,000, of course many factors will be able to push eth prices to be able to increase prices and one  if  launch of eth 2.0 is carried out in year this will of course push eth prices up to $1000 or more, but in my opinion, no matter how much encouragement for eth is it is highly unlikely that the price will ever reach the $10,000 as the current OP is expecting.

I don't think so that level of 10,000-12,000 USD will catch up per Ethereum will reach anyhow ever. But if you have any analysis for it can you tell how it will be. its not about the supply that makes tokens dip to hit the ATH prices. its just hard to see the price today to start rocketing up when there is still pandemic going on. everyone who hold a token will eventually sell when the funds they have on hand will bit by bit slowing drain because people are selling.

but if pandemic starts to slow because there is a vaccine ready for it, the price of investments will definitely goes up and ETH could be one of the first to go up making investors buy at higher rate.

ETH even if it closes above 500 - 600 $ mark for yearend will be a good thing for all of us as current price is 341$. So almost double if it reaches around 600$ mark as well. 12k for ETH is nowhere btc should atleast close above 12k that is the minimum I guess we should see it. ETH has fallen almost 100$ when btc was near 12k levels and as btc came till 10k ETH also dropped in the same time.

It's hard how to calculate and can make ethereum increase that high, because we know that bitcoin just to break above $ 12K always fails and returns to the $ 9K- $ 10K range only. even if the end of the year bitcoin can only reach $ 15K then ethereum will be a maximum in the range of $ 700- $ 1k only and could not be more than that. we are waiting for the end of this year because that's when the changes will happen.

The OP is aiming like the price of bitcoin at the end of this year. Though we are looking forward for eth 2.0, but that price is not really possible this year. Maybe he is aiming for that price because as others have said, he invested big money on eth. But if that price will not be reached, I believe we will have better eth price at the end of this year, higher than what we have right now.

He's not mistaken with what he said. If it's $10,000 - $12,000 then bitcoin has already reached $12,000 and is staying to $10,000 these times.

By now the OP should know the price predicted is not possible. When bitcoin rose to 20k in 2017, it was not from $350. My own conservative high price for ethereum is $800, This I expect by the end of the year after the launch of the ETH 2.0 in November. After the pump we might likely see another dump in the year or Next January. The capacity of Eth to bring various development in the space is high, Asides Defi and influence of DEX, we could see more approach to enable flow of fund.

@op this speculation of yours is just impossible, at  least you can say $1000 - $2000 by year end but $10,000 is way too high and very impossible to achieve within the next 3 months,  if this happens then it means the bull run is upon us and probably many other akts will rise a lot as well.

The title definitely caught my attention and i'm expecting a great reason why it would pump that high but all i see is this, some newbie claiming to be an analyser of crypto. The reality is ethereum is only around 300 USD now, and it pumping that high is pretty impossible, the trend is definitely bullish but reaching 10k-12k usd is just impossible. but i guess hoping for it to reach that high would not hurt.

The price of $400 is around the corner and if the market is not going through a major correction then those price valuation is not a big deal. While the price of Eth had reached 470$, I thought it will reach 500$ and I will get profit from it. But it back fire and the price of Eth had reduced to 300+ margin. Eth gas was 30-50$ on uniswap during August. With 10-12k usd it can cost 50 usd TX fees. Without Ethereum 2.0 there is no chance for grow with such crazy fees. But ETH 2.0 can takes forever.

The release of 2.0 version of ethereum has been adjusted again and hoping to see it happen before the end of this year.

This cannot happen even on the next 2 years, many projects is out competing with ETH and solving the scalability issue that ETH has been tagged with. ETH 2.0 is not at sight, and they are losing momentum with different projects solving this problem easily. An example of such are: Elrond, Harmony, Waves, Zil, QuarkChain etc

It is better to invest and wait for the right time rather than trading the volatile markets. At least, time will work on your side and you can liquidate your assets whenever you wish to do so. I didn't understand why people are in a hurry to see such a huge spike in short time of period even there is no big craze for ICOs at the moment. If you did not noticed it, one possible reason could be because you know, wanting to get profit because they might be holding or planning to buy more Etherium, hold it on their wallets and wait for more hypes to happen.

$ 1200? it's really close to BtC prices. Coin supply from Eth 6x more than the amount of BTC. on a market cap, eth 1/5 of the market capitalization of BTC. So it feels tough if eth year end to reach $ 1200. because it need more 5x the value of its current market  capitalization .

BTC has first mover bonus (mental issue), deflationary as opposed to ETH inflationary, and BTC is known to the lay person now and is memed everywhere. Alt coins traditionally will get pulled up when BTC moves upwards but their ratio usually falls against BTC. So although BTC dominance may dilute the "safety" in its market cap is aided by that same dilution effect. This is why every alt coin run you always see liquidation into BTC.

Many predictions spreading in this industry that some are really in high expectations but we cannot stop them on what their judgment towards the market. As we also observe ethereum price is struggling to touch even at $500 in value so it's impossible the realization of Op can be achieved at $10k at this year ends. But if the etherium are still continuing increasing price the well they have a chance to reach on that price you mention. I think you now got your answer. This is not possible at least this year. If you say $1000 or $1200, it may happen but closer to that value. With the values you mentioned, market capitalization will be in billions which is not feasible at the moment for ETH.

You can say never in this case lol.  Bitcoin would have to be in the hundreds of thousands for eth to hit this price.  That is just an insane number.  The amount of sell orders in the $30-$100k will be great pressure on the price that will take time to bust through.

 
Simple thinking will be more realistic than we hope, at this point it won't happen and i also think that Ethereum needs to do more to achieve such value in the future not just. It is about the price but currently it still has to compete with many other potential competitors in the market. But i believe that by 2021, there will be a lot of positive changes in the price, possibly reaching ATH, and this is also the target that i think ETH is aiming for at the current price.

This is very foolishness that for making the over-speculation for any coin like Ethereum. Ethereum is a good coin and also gives birth to other cryptos also. But, you should think before you say that ETH will go above $10,000 at the end of 2020 in this short span of time. Maybe it will go but the price increase will be a gradual process. Maybe it takes more than 2 years.

The current price of ETH is ranging at $430-$460, the prediction in the thread is at $10,000 at the end of the 2020 and we are only have 1 month left before the year 2020 ends. The ETH has still tough resistances that it should surpass in order for us to see a massive price surges. Actually, the ATH of ETH is only around $1600 so for me $10,000 at the end of the year is not attainable, maybe that prediction can happen 5-10 years from now because it will really take time before the ETH can surpassed its multiple resistances ahead.

You exaggerate the matter mate though i love your positive approach regarding the Future value but this year is not enough to expect this.

The analysis is so high and for me it is not possible that we can see ETH will be above $5,000 at the end of the year. There are certain people who thinks that price can go a straight line but the truth is price do not go in a straight line and retracement are really matter because it can be a indication that a certain trend is really bullish. I think the ETH will be around $700 in the second quarter of the year 2021, I'm current acquiring ETH as much I can.

For now it's going to be in park, as there are so many competitions and there are different trends from time to time. Investors loves to
explore and tried to find something new.

Your analysis on ethereum price is so high even though there's an upgrade to be happen in ethereum I doubt it will touch to that price. Were close to end of this year and it is impossible to have a magical pump for a shorter of time on this project. So imo, above $500 for this year can possibly achieved, who knows price is volatile.

This year has passed most of the time, don't expect 10,000$ to 12,000$ though the market is ideal for the rest of the time. It is going to be possible in the next few years but the first thing need to accumulate ETH.

I never thought it could reach that price, i think you need to be alert when talking about this, really with what the market or the next update of the project i just hope ETH will reach ATH this year. I'm going to put a price that i think people are aiming for, maybe $ 800.

It is not possible because the 2020 will now end and we have only last month which is December and the price of the ETH are still in $450. For me ETH have a long way to go because it needs consolidation before it breakout with huge volume. There are a lot of resistances ahead so for me it is not yet possible to see ETH to go $2,000 per each and more even though they will launch the Ethereum 2.0.

I mean, I think ETH's pretty solid too but while Bitcoin is now well on its way to ATH, ETH is struggling to even capture $500 and keep it. And that is not even 30% of ATH by the way.
