I want to share my views about IDENA where I still hold it in my bag, we all know that lately many projects that rely on staking or mining have to use large funds, for example we see many new projects coming up where people who have lots of money can buy coins for staking and mining

Idena can also do mining using an ordinary laptop, no need to use CPU or GPU power, even among the lower classes people can get IDENA for free by following validations that are held every 14 days can also do mining

I want to get a community opinion about this project too here, share your opinion here so I can get more experience about crypto projects? opinion will be highly appreciated here

I have some DNA also from validation, seeing the concept is quite interesting even can mining with low spec laptop or PC (but need stable internet connections)

My question is what is the indicator that altcoin can be said to be the best? price or something else? because if the reference is the price there are other altcoins that have up hundreds of percent from initial prices.

What is important for me is seeing how the community of Idena continues to promote which is a positive thing and also the development of the developer is quite good and continously.

IDENA sounds interesting and could possibly be marketable to potential investors in the crypto space. I read its current published medium and voting rights scheme in the blockchain could perhaps add better security and consentual among holders. The established governance is always be project sustaining, although  alot of projects are already adapting this features, it always showed negative output because it lacked community support. With growing possibility in crypto space, its diversified nature will always be an advantage in making of success.

In my opinion they are a good project compared to a lot of new ones that are focus primarily on trading. Also their built in wallet is more interesting which have a reliable governance. Also it can undergone a mining with a non high spec desktop mode which could not let users to participate. The current market price is not bad also if your looking for a good project to invest with.

it is a good project, they had some questionable decisions, especially with validation in epoch 0045, when most of users were killed due to software bug, and they did not hear the community, just prolonged in their own manner, but idea behind the project is very interesting and innovative

Definitely not, they don't have as much hype like the Defi projects, I think in 2021 the Defi projects will become the best altcoins in this market. Their price increases every day and makes it profitable for a lot of people to invest in it

I know you are shilling your bag and you wish the price pumped above $1 but after looking into the project there is nothing really novel about it expect that common PC can be used to mining it. A project that is going to be the best must offer something different than its peers and I have not seen anything new here, correct me if I am wrong.

That's true and mostly people try to see the usecase of the platform rather than focusing into how much they can earn caused by there are so many coins that offered the same thing but it didn't get any hype from the buyers.

There are already plenty of cryptocurrencies that don't require huge hardware requirements to stake or operate a node, there's even a few that can run a node on a mobile device. I don't think this feature alone will help Idena grow in popularity.

Unless it has some incredibly lucrative reward system and an incredibe team (which it doesn't), it's going to find it difficult to compete with upcoming behemoths like Orion Protocol and OpenPredict (http://openpredict.io/).

Very important thing inside this market, being place on top project needs big hypes to collect more interest form investors that will support the coin.

It's indeed what's happening with DeFi, they are gaining attentions and people are really taking the risk collecting and participating in each coins that offer this kind of projects.
Needs to have more offer before thinking about getting that spot, not just because its not
requiring good specs to mine but still expenses paying internet service and electricity.

I read about the project, it didn't get my attention. About half of the coins were mined, a very small trading volume and on a little-known exchange.

In the topic, users write that mining income has fallen, and I am not eager to buy this coin as a long-term investment.

If they list on larger exchanges I think the price could go up to $ 1 in this year, they are currently only listing on small exchanges and not too much volume. They need to create more marketing to let people know about the project

I'm also mining it, I like to be part of the signature campaign but I already have one, this is a very unique and young mining algo you are right the community is growing and it's growing fast, the developers are doing the right, of launching the marketing they should now work now on the use case, once they have these Idena will be one of the top coins in 2021.

The best altcoin in 2021?
Can you tell me from what aspect it can be said as the best altcoin? The best altcoin means that Idena will pass and beat ETH, BNB, and many more top coins. Can it be? I still find no value of this coin. But I appreciate how these projects offer a very interesting concept. However, I think that it must focus on how this can survive among the big comers in the crypto world. Never think first about being the best altcoin because you can prove nothing if you don't have any proof yet. SO, I think that it no needs to judge a project easily and quickly. Let's see how this project will develop and how the coin will survive and increase its value in the market.

To be honest, I like this feature. But the question is, will it be enough to convince the investors to buy IDENA? I don't want to become pessimistic but I really don't think so. Remember that most of us are not really not into the application but with the price since many projects are already existing thus considered no longer unique from everyone. Since they are the only one who have this kind of features nowadays, then it would be worth to try since you don't really spend some money when staking their coins. How could this be possible? if they innovate the way of traditional staking with this idea, I mean how do they gather enough expenses to develop their project in the long run? since base on what I'm reading, they only giving some free coins when you stake their coins. They not gonna get anything from that, isn't that weird?

to be honest I don't know about this project yet, but if I take a look at IDENA's Github, they are quite active,
maybe there is the potential to be a good project in the next year, if the entry requirements of a big exchange are met

I can't find any information about this project at coinmarketcap, it looks like they are new and not updated project there. So it is difficult for it to become the best altcoin in this market

I had heard the name Idena before Idena price can be pumped up to 87% if you look at the idena market only 1, namely qtrade but has been able to pump maybe when devloper keeps creating new news Idena could be the best altcoin in 2021

I laughed at the "no money for stake equipment needed, just an average laptop" part a lot :D what did you guys imagined required for other staking coins? You think we hire quantum computers for it? We do either get a VPS or we actually do end up with just a regular laptop that we use, that is for every single stake out there and nobody really needs something huge. Hell you could run like 10 pos coins on just one laptop and also play a game if you want to, staking doesn't use that much of your computer.

In any case, this is a mediocre advertisement spam at very best, I would say whoever hired you should probably hire someone better for marketing, with just a bit of amount you could hire a lot better marketing people that can do a lot more for a coin than just a bad topic on a forum.

Well, Idena looks pretty well-managed project, they have such a unique vision for the community, I wanted to participate in their signature campaign only to promote the project. But sorry, this is not the best altcoin of this year, because we have far better altcoins than Idena! Right now, Defi is trending, and Defi deserves it ideally! I think Band Protocol is the best altcoin of the year for many reasons!

I'm also interested in the Idena project. It's a unique concept but I'm not sure how far will they take it. I will follow up and still do my research. Currently downloading the wallet and scanning for viruses.

I think it is still inappropriate for this token to be called the best altcoin 2021 because currently it only has one exchange and for me it is lacking to be the best even with the top altcoins with many exchanges and high liquidity is not the best guarantee, but it's just that IDENA offers Free mining with ease maybe some people think this is amazing but for me it is normal and still not the best altcoin.

Any project that has a great team and a good direction can be successful in 2021 even because this year of 2020 was only for planning and readjustments. Returning to the theme if a project doesn't have a solid structure and a continuity plan, markenting can only help at the beginning to leverage sales but it won't last long because the market needs new concepts.

All projects are likely to be large in 2021.

All of this can happen in the crypto market, however the likelihood of IDENA becoming the best altcoin of 2021 is very small. Maybe IDENA is giving attractive advertisements and being able to exploit IDENA with PC gives many people access to IDENA currency. But with very small transaction volume I do not think IDENA can increase in price in short time.

Upon visiting your profile, sorry, I find that you are really curious about the price of the Idena OP, have you invested on it? pre-sale or main sale? or did you just join the bounty of it coz it seems from your profile that you participate a lot of bounties. Anyways with the IDENA, I find it a good project but not the best altcoin in 2021, the project goal is good and unique for me but calling it the best altcoin is not suitable for it as of the moment since it only arrived in the market just a few days ago, the trading volume is still low and only a few trading markets. It is even early to decide for someone if they are going to invest to it. Hopes up for this project tho.

I don't know much about this project, it might be good and it might not but what I try to understand is the logic behind thinking that the coin will be the best altcoin in 2021; not one of the best, but the best. I do not agree because there are coins much more better than it starting with Ethereum. One of the reason why most major altcoins are occupying the top rank in coinmarketcap is because they have stood the test of time while expanding in all way round, so thinking a coin like Idena will be the best next year is just exaggeration.

Asking if an altcoin that you are bagholding will be the best by next year gives you encouragement. I'm not saying that this token is bad nor good but every time this has been asked, it's because you are already holding it.

idena.io is a promising project and I have some idena (DNA), and idena will also be a token that can compete with other token tokens. And mining idena is also very easy, does not require high computer specs

Yeah I also have the intention of joining the campaign but it i feel there are a bit too restricted to some  extent so I change my mind about joining,  between i don't see what exactly it is that name idena stand out and gave the op the impression that this project will the best in 2020, we have far more better alt in the market right now that can actually make a difference through their technological fundamentals and solid partnership to other potential projects, companies etc,   each have their unique features while they can be the best but it depends on how they utilise it. We needs the more time to prove it dude. Idena is a new platform and the real journey of this project will have started at the hotbit exchange site. I wanna try say that it's too early to call this one as a project that has very bright future.

This is a good project, they are going strong recently. But I think it is very difficult for them to be the best altcoin in 2021, there are many better altcoins and they are getting more attention from investors.

I've checked their standing in the coinmarketcap and coingecko and they do have a promise they can be listed as one of the best new coin in the market because of the community build-up and of course because of their uniqueness.

Yes, investors are only interested in Defi projects at the moment. So I believe that in 2021 will be the era of Defi projects, their prices will increase many times after being listed in exchanges. Like Chainlink has shown over the past few months

I think it is not just idena, which can be the best altcoin in 2021, but the other altcoin will have the same opportunity. But idena needs to compete with the other altcoin, especially with the altcoin, which already has a good volume. So that will not be an easy job for idena because they need more support from the investor and the other people. none can be sure in any altcoin and there is no guarantee that these coins will grow in 2021. today you can be sure that the coin is good, but tomorrow the team may stop working on the project and the project will close

Depend on the function of the coin itself, we don't need to wait for a long time if the coin has good function and many people know against it then we just need to see its price goes up for several months. Currently, if you see on binance exchange there are new project that experiencing a huge increase like BAND,ALGO even LINK coin that has been increasing and have touched its new all time high.

A good thing that we have to see is crypto currency or all coin behind are decentralized system, there is no party which can limit its price. The price movement will be depend on the user and most people who know the coin. As for the IDENA coin, I know this coin for a few months back and also I alwayst its announchment thread because there are many usefull information to know more this coin and I just think that with the new concensus that we haven't know before I can include it as a potential coin.

Actually, Hotbit is a very good cryptocurrency exchange, but I would like to see the Idena coin on other top-rated exchangers. Well, the existence of altcoins is difficult to predict. It could die or crash at any moment, and for this project I didn't have too much faith in it. Hopefully in 2021 they are still growing and can enter the top 100 altcoins in coinmarketcap

I don't think so, but whether Idena will develop in 2021 the answer is yes, but this depends on the Idena community itself, whether it will increase or not and if the community develops and idena coins can be listed other than qTrade exchange I think this coin will be potential.

I strongly agree that the Idena project is a good project for investment. But to be the best altcoin in 2021 is impossible,
because there are so many other altcoin rivals that are much better than the Idena project. It took a few more years for
the Idena project being the best altcoin. Moreover, compared to some of the top altcoins, the Idena project is still inferior.

The community of idena is great and also their tech. They recently releeased their campaign here in forum even with rewards not as big as you think. The development of idena is keep pushing forward. What matters is they can get free coin that could be increase its value in the future. Ive seen the tech and I am impressed.

Their exchange listed is hotbit and I think many will list them soon as the exchanges see their potential.

At the validation ceremony yesterday, the idena network penetrated 3000 nodes, this is really great. The community is growing and idena is getting known. I hope that the next validation will pass 3500 to 4000 nodes. Cheers!!  8)

Idena sounds like an interesting concept. But to be the best of all altcoins in 2021 a lot of things must come together and i don't think that happens in the case of idena.
I mean almost every project that has an IEO in one of the big exchanges will like have more success than idena, even if those project are not as good tech-wise, it's just a question of awareness and hype.
But that doesn't mean that idena can't be a good project to invest in and hodl.

I believe in IDENA development team, they will always develop this project even though there will be many competitors, with the support of the community and the team, Idena will be able to survive in the competition in the crypto world.

Lol, you based your prediction on a way how now coins are mined? Look at Vertcoin, it was the first cryptocurrency that focused on "fair" mining. They didn´t allow mining with specialized ASIC miners, but as it turned out, no one was really bothered about this problem.

Definitely not going to happen, even though it is a good project and the price has been steadily rising lately. But it's too difficult for it to compete with the top altcoins in this market to become the best altcoin. ETH will always be No. 1

In my opinion, IDENA is indeed very good for investing in it because it has a very interesting quality and concept in the future, not only that, IDENA makes it very easy for everyone to get IDENA just by using a low spec laptop. You can mine IDENA and get it for free, so for that you don't need a high spec laptop to get IDENA, maybe this is the advantage of the IDENA project. I believe IDENA will be a very good Altcoin in the future.

ETH will not always be number one. I think that in the future there will be new coins that can beat Ethereum in technical capabilities and also have a large community.

its difficult to be the best, but if be one of the best crypto project it wuld be. i see in their group very active and i heard ruomor this project was hidden project from coinbase, but i am not sure about it. idena core team have developt good feature, and it will accepted by crypto investors . in few years later i hope it could compete with other coins.

Even this coin has a very small daily trade volume but it looks very impressive to see the price of idea was gradually increase. It looks like with so many nodes that have already active in the network has proven how much the demand for idena coin.

For me, absolutely NO, how can coin with volume only around $100K can be the best altcoin?? So many top altcoins out there which Idena can't reach it.

These would be the one reason why many people are a bit skeptical with the said project, the lack of real investment. All you need is an average laptop they say, no investment needed and you will be able to earn money by staking their coins. I am wondering how you can get something from nothing? That is a bit out of this world getting something without investing in something. I don't want to sound pessimistic but anyway good luck to the project.

I dont have confidence in this project, we have many better projects in this market, so it is difficult for this project to compete for the top spot. If it continues to do well then I think the top 200 would be suitable for this altcoin

Cool thing happens in crypto, you won't really believe if it happens don't you? I'm not confident about this IDENA tho, haven't read about it a lot but the question is if it would be the best altcoin in 2021. If the price reaches a thousand of dollars next year then we can say that it is the best altcoin of that year, IF and only IF ethereum or LINK or XRP or TRON. My point with this is that , market is full of coins the investors are diversifying and we could not tell how things would really work in cryptocurrencies in the future in terms of prices.
