Title: We are spreading bitcoin in Toronto by sponsoring Gaming Tournaments & Contest.
Post by: bitconnect on March 23, 2014, 01:26:49 AM
Hello everyone!
We have contacted the Toronto Dota 2 Community and have matched their prizes for the graphics design contest. It has been successful and have happily spread the love of bitcoin through this contest. Because of this we had the community talking and discussing about what is bitcoin and how it works and had positive support from the members.

Here is their facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/TorontoDota/ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TorontoDota/) and it started conversations about the nature of bitcoin

Also there is an internet cafe, Log-inn Cafe Gaming, and have put up a $50.00 in bitcoin prize! and its good to see people who know about bitcoin now getting into it simply because of this and many more are learning about it. The tournament is still in progress but it is going good.
We plan on doing more as time goes by :) Love this community.

Any advice on better ways to advertise to communities to help spread bitcoin in manners such as these? We are going to try to do more contests and events  :)

Thanks! Just trying to get a much people to get use to them instead of watching it and hearing about it in the media while its acceptance is spreading in Toronto. One love!
