What are the projects you guys are looking for? Are there upcoming Defi project sales which you keep an eye on?

DIA at the beginning of the sale was quiete interesting.

Yeah, DIA has potential and it is listed on OKEX that is a great move by them. There are telegram channels that post updates about defi and other crypto stuff like CryptoDiffer, but don't follow anything they post just use it as a lead and do your own research. I have notice a rapid increase on defi projects right now so be careful a lot of them are scam or pump and dump.

DIA is one of the best projects in 2020 also DIA ROI is impressive. I saw a news that they will be listed Kucoin soon.
Now keeping my eye on CorionX. Though I didn't invest money, Willing to buy some CorionX. I have a few positive sides that's why planning to buy some CorionX.

I think it's interesting to YAM. It's a seemingly scam token, but it's in active development. im one of YAM discord member, The moderators at YAM are also quick to reply to my questions. I think it's a good atmosphere.

Dont invest even a 1$ on this. It has fallen like 99.99% after a "code bug". its not a moonshot.

I would be careful going after a random coin which could be a moonshot. majority are scams despite so called potential. There is no use case that is not already solved by an existing token.

One way to look for a "moonshot" is to find new listings on binance and try to get in as soon as listed near the listing price. Generally coins spike up after listing and most coins drop hard after that. You can time it in the interim there is a chance of making quick buck. But its a long shot.

Otherwise hope for btc or eth to continue to rise. I see more and more hedge funds investing in BTC as a dollar hedge. I definitely see it hit ATH before end of next year. ETH is a platform used by most DeFi coins and there is a reasonable chance of ETH getting a boost due to that. I still dont see it hit ATH hit during ICO craze. Number of new coins are no where in the ballpark of 2017/early 2018 phase.

I had invested in Aave(LEND) in late 2017 and it went up and then crashed to almost nothing. Thankfully I never sold and now its back well beyond ATH. But FOMOing at this point has risks though its market cap is still not crazy high. it was envisioned as a lending platform and now evolved to a DeFi. One new coin yearn.finance is on a tear but its own creators said it has no value !!!! So I wonder why it has increased so much.

of course, YAM has rebase function but this function is not to adjust price but only to adjust supply, so if we bought YAM above 1$ more, they are no guarantee that we will be no loss. idt, YAM rebase is done slowly and slowly.

I suggest you to visit icodrop.com and there were so many defis that already searched by investors on that site. FYI if im always using that site to search the good DEFI to be used as my next investment and majority of defi that listed on that site gives us very good ROI

Still, I can't understand what this Defi project is. Is that another layer to the blockchain which refining the project or anything else. I think it would be security features that guard the project to an extra level. So, kindly explain here elaborately about the Defi.

There are alot of them now because most are just meme but people ignore this. I know there are a lot of them now but can't really determine if the space has already ripen because these prices can't go up forever and just expect correction to happen very soon, that is when you know who is swimming naked

Bounty hunters are so lucky joining on dia campaign cause they will get good reward. I think dia can achieve 10$ by the end of the year and maybe dai will be listed in major exchanges soon.

Stafi (is the First DeFi Protocol Unlocking Liquidity of Staked Assets) - is a very cool project on polkadot, but the protocol is very complex, I hope they will succeed, I am waiting for the launch.

I am only interested in DIA and Oikos. These are 2 Defi projects that I am investing in, the current price has increased quite a lot compared to before. But I believe that in the future these two projects will continue to develop and deliver great products and help prices go up.

I have seen a lot of Defi projects but I never put an eye to them. And, I recently tried to check the Defi project that I have found here which is the Mantra Dao, and it took my attention to invest. But what happened is I forgot to invest and now I just realized I wasted a good profit and I should put time into a good project. This project is already listed in Bithumb and now has a good price. Right now, I'm focusing on finding more Defi project that has great potential and will also bring a good profit to me. And, be good at investing and choosing Defi projects.

You mean you are watching their review and trust them? Or you only find out a new project which is coming or running for IEO or ICO? Then you will research. If you only trust their score and invest your money then it will be the worst choice. Or if you are just making list of these project and after that, you will make research then it's ok.

Now any project that adds Defi will immediately get a lot of attention. I think this is a good time to invest but should also be more careful when investing as Defi is being abused in almost all projects. You also shouldn't choose to invest in new projects and I recommend checking out coinmarketcap as the best Defi projects will usually be known here.

Not ico, but a Bounding Curve and indeed buying DIA at this time is a bit risky considering that there are so many bounding curve participants who still hold their tokens but if you have read analysis made by Kucoin, I think DIA has the potential for long-term investment, I myself had time to buy some at Uniswap when it's still under $ 2 and trying to hold it for next year.

Extremely risky considering only 8million of overall 200m are open. This will be diluted big time that will cause the value to crash. Buyer beware unless you are just day trading looking for a greater fool.

DIA is really the most prominent project in recent weeks and its high value has surprised me so this is definitely a worthwhile investment to wait for in the near future. I bought this coin at $1.2 at Uniswap since last week and my current profit has tripled in just a short time. Hopefully, DIA will reach $10 soon as there will surely be more big news about this coin.

Yes and most of them will be well justified during the bull run. They have got good usecases. There team members are sound and are professionals in their fields. I took a closer look at DIA and Compound and I made a resolution that I will not take them for granted. Oikos is on From platform and its type is rare.

DIA was able to reach the price of $4 and I think it can still go higher after this correction in the market. I’m surprised as well with how DIA works and the sales has ended last August 18. We can see bright future on this DeFi project. For now, I’m just looking on coinmarketcap for the DeFi projects, and I don’t have any specific site for the upcoming DeFi, this forum helps as well.

There are a number of defi projects that will do token sales.

Can't do ICO's in the USA...I 'suppose' I could do an ICO with a VPN and such..and IF you actually paid taxes on such you'd maybe be OK...

but that pesky 'you are banned as from the United States' that pops up tends to negate my view of pulling this off on the above. :(

I participated on their bounty program and I'm happy that I've made the right decision, now I'm waiting for the reward and I know DIA will become more expensive in the coming months. DIA is my first DeFi project that I've supported and its worth it to see their success. Now, I'm working with Dfinance and I hope they can do better than and DeFi projects. DeFi is great this year, and it can still last in the coming years.

I follow the daomaker platform, they usually have top projects coming out, I don't know why this is about, but it's a fact.

Wouldn't it be better to just wait for the IEO on Binance? although now the Defi ICO is good again,

The DIA project is one of the most successful DeFi projects. For now there are 2 DeFi projects that I pay attention to, namely Dfinance and OIN Finance

No doubt Defi project are the most popular in crypto sphere but people need to understand that most of the Defi project are hype base and drop to nearly zero at anytime. An example is compound which was in the $200-300 price range and now $171.

Many investors looked into DIA because of the amount which was raised during the token sale and I think crypto investors need to stop chasing project base on hype and the amount of money raised during sales.

Theres no denying that some Defi have good potential but despite the fact Defi's are the most invested project i will advice everybody to understand the danger in Defi investment and have knowledge in identifying false project because of the bad actor (crypto scammer) will use it to scam investors.

There are some good and interesting Defi projects in the space now but can't rely name any as for now because of the noise in the space, it is looking like the 2017/2018  time when people have thrown out reason. I would rather hold trusted projects than invest into new one I don't trust for now

I dont consider upcoming anymore, a project that has already complete the fundraise, grown the communty, top search on coingecko, most discussed on twitter, with 75x value from crowdfund, listed on more than top 4 exchanges in a month. The team is very active in marketing the project and the project is older than 2 years before the crowdfund. 

was interesting to learn that the project actually was being built gradually since 2018 and then at the right time they just explode while the defi spawn the market with defi projects. very timely.

there isn't lots of defi projects sprouting but i have to read some on facebook like the Swingby, PlutusDeFi and polkadot. it needs a bit of research to fully learn about them.

Just what was interesting yesterday.. was the public sale from aegis finance. Where are the good times where people actually made some research? it was "sold out" in 15sec and they didnt even provided a Team or anything which can be checked because of a very limited supply for the sale.

DIA now in kucoin exchange. really it was their right path and almost many investors got profits from DIA. However i have not caught any new defi project right now but besides i am excited to catch some new defi project myself. I made some profit from oikos defi project and now i continue to try to make profit every day by trading from this project.
Research is very important for investment because it is foolish to think that all defi project will give you profit. This is why crypto marketers need to keep their eyes open and invest in good currencies.

Yes, DIA and PayDao are 2 projects that I am looking forward to buy in the upcoming sale. Maybe I will use a lot of capital to buy PayDao more because they are creating a great product and in very high demand, which is Defi wallet.  Guys be careful about these though. We are talking about this Defi situation like it is a guaranteed money making scheme but it is not, there is a big chance you could lose money as well and some people are not aware of that. I have seen this during the peak times of ICO as well, there was so many people who kept saying that investing into every ICO you can find was a good idea, even if some of them went to %90- loss, there would be one that could make x100 and make you super rich, when people realized there was no x100 ICO they stopped investing.

 Same will happen to DeFi one day, there are scammers out there who are using the defi name to steal money from people and scam millions of dollars, they are already out there and their numbers will go up a lot, so please focus and do your research about these projects, do not just fall for what they say they will do because they can say the greatest things, check if they can actually do what they say they will do.

In fact, the scammers are already partying with this DeFi season because it seems that almost every few weeks there are cases of DeFi exit scams, and the mistake here is that anonymous projects were given space because I saw a lot of anonymous projects that made it into the top 100-300 on Unisawp rank and most of them can make up to x10-x100 here people are tempted by anonym project. Unfortunately maybe they don't do too much research so they got scammed.

One should be careful and research well before investing, but there are many Defi projects that have already made investors a big profit, despite a lot of exit scams not all that bad. Quality projects will survive.

There is no best project to invest! You should not invest banking on what other people say!
You can check other people opinions in order to find new projects, but you need to make the work as well.

If you see a potential project take a bit to investigate it further. I have some rules I need to comprehend the project.
- check the team (good project should present team members. check their linkedin to see if they are related to the field)
- read the whitepaper and bitcointalk ANN
- understand the project and their area of work
- check for a building community
- participate in their channels (discord, slack, telegram, etc)

That was my main topics in investing in ICO's, now Defi is the new ICO's.
You must have in mind that only a small percentage of the projects will survive and be lucrative.

Oikos was building various products started from the swpa service, decentralized exchange site,staking platform and many more. It's also the best defi platform in the tron blockchain right now.

Defi projects are very well known in recent times and if they choose a good investment project, they will make a lot of profits. I'm not too good at research but if the Defi project is mentioned a lot then I will definitely choose to invest. I just checked out the OKS project at exchange Hoo.com, it doesn't seem like this project has too much hype. Its volume is only 300k $ and the price has been continuously decreasing since going up 0.14 $, I think in the next few days the price will continue to decrease and will soon return to IEO price.

Too early for DeFi to burst, I’m expecting the end of this hype at the end of the year actually and since most of DeFi was able to reach their all time high, its hard now to buy on the peak level. DIA proves to be ok since the end of the bonding curve and if there’s a good pump again in the market, DIA will make new peak. Though I’m still looking for a new DeFi that I can invest with and take profit as much as possible, we’ll see this one in the last quarter of 2020.

I'm not so sure that the bubble is about to burst because as they say the market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent, however it is obvious that we are in the middle of a bubble and that DeFi is the main reason why the market is moving up, this is why I'm suspicious of this movement many altcoins are going up in value and while bitcoin is doing the same it is not doing so at the same speed which means that the growth does not come from healthy long term growth but instead comes from speculation.

From now on, people must be vigilant and cautious about investing in DeFi projects because it is possible that now many fake projects have come to seek profit from investors and leave.

Nowadays DeFi Project has caused a stir in the market. DIA is really perform a good game, around 3.5usd per token. But keep in mind you are not able to know the ending point of Hype, IMO think twice before investing your money on a hype-based project, just do a minimum research before participate on an ICO DeFi.

Fake defi projects have already started to be appeared in the various telegram group. Some of them were using the telegram accounts to shilling their project into the big telegram group too.

There was a lot of people have already created so many awareness about this scam defi too.

I will never forget the oks defi project because this is another great successful. Truly it was a tremendous success for all investors because the IEO value of Oks was $0.03 and subsequently the price increased to exceed $0.12 after entering the exchange market. However, the DIA project is also moving forward. In fact, almost all defi projects are succeeding at this time and the number of investors is high.

This time defi project is more than banker. Some defi projects have already dumped their unlimited coins to the market. Sushi and yuno have become the hottest topic right now as it was getting dumped almost 90% from the initial price.

Dfinance is a promising project, it's just that I don't know whether they will tokensale in the future or not, but let's hope there will be a tokensale, and I expected OIN to be pumped but unfortunately when I wanted to buy the token I didn't get a place even though I had done kyc on they website.

Many but don't get caught on the projects that looks scammy in the first place. Well, I think there will be DeFis that will surely dump hard but those who had make it a success like listing on big exchanges I don't think they'll be downed so easily.

This DIA is becoming popular base on my observation and it was listed already in the exchange. True, better understand the project first so we will know which is worth investing of our money. Although, a lot of defi project is spreading these days so we have to be careful also.

I currently hold SAND and KLV right now. I am thinking of letting go of my SAND and buy PNT  since Defi is on a roll this year I might as well ride the tide right. I have minimal budget which I use for trading here and there. Hopefully, I can minimize losses and grow my small holdings.

You need to be incredibly careful many of those coins are just pump and dump coins and nothing more, yes sushi pumped hard and guess what? Now it has collapsed just as hard, if it is a good project and the developers are willing to work in it for years then it could give profits once again, but it seems there is some drama going on and if the developers prefer to just leave then the project could disappear during the next year leaving a bunch of people with bags that are worth nothing.

I honestly don't see many interesting DeFi projects out there. To be honest there are only a few. The current situation reminds me a lot of the ICO hype in 2017 when new projects were popping up almost every day. And with the current DeFi hype it's almost the same. Sketchy foodcoins and clones of the few established DeFi projects are getting created every day now and people seem to fall for it. You just have to check Telegram or Twitter and you will find many messages in which people cry that they lost all their money in one of the various DeFi scams.

Currently the most interesting DeFi project out there might be UniSwap since it really has a grown userbase and people are willing to use UniSwap over some other established CEXs. Another interesting project which is about to launch soon is the Lattice Exchange, another DEX, which might have a bright future. Definitely worth a closer look!

I think IDEX should be better and even though this token is still not very strong or lacking in market interest, I think IDEX will last for a long time so investing there is still in the safe category, I guess. In my opinion, after this defi trend, DEX will not be as strong as you say.  I feel the DEX still lacks a lot to compare with CEX.  Besides, the volume at Cex still accounts for over 95% with normal days in the crypto market, the defi trend is only temporary and I still dont believe in DEX will have a new look in the future.

I found DEXs and DeFi for very useful as a concept, but I don't think that they will even come close to CEX in a matter of volume and usability.

I have read so many opinion of others about good upcoming defi projects, I have never participated in any dei presale because I'm scared to be a victims of scam, although I recently saw a new defi running a bounty program here paying participants in ETH token, I hope this one going to be a successful one because they never want to tamper with their token/or rather gets their token dumped by bounty hunters. With the emergence of defi trend, we have seen high influx of defi projects of which majority of them had massive upside that were short lived. One defi project I've been looking forward in the last couple of weeks is DotBased which is a rebase platform on Polkadot network. I'm a huge fan of rebase projects first with ampleforth and then with xBTC evenif it hasn't impressed so far. As for DotBased, they recently complained their private sale and public sale raising over 550ETH in total with the uniswap listing coming up on Friday. Worth keeping an eye on even if the sales windows are closed.

I think DeFi investment is profitable and potentially worthy to invest but all investments have risks.
I won't comment on Dego and Kittiefight, but we must be extra careful with our assets.
When the DeFi project is booming, this will be an opportunity for some people to cheat and do bad things.
Stay alert and be careful with our assets, including this Defi.

If you can find the legit and better project then why not right?but the only problem is not all Defi projects will exceed in future and only few will survive in top position.

I like this project dyp finance as I observe this is trending in twitter. Yes I also check they have bounty campaign in which a participant can earn money. The good DeFi projects are just few in number. Also checking most DeFi projects that are coming up now, you will hardly see those that are ready to make an impact, that is, what is flying around are just Defi projects with little to nothing to offer, some just look like they are a twist of what is already existing and which is the reason a good number of them are struggling to grow. However, the early Defi projects are still trying their best to maintain their developements but others are hardly doing anything which of course continues leading to lack of attention from investors and further decline in price.
Therefore, replying to the topic, in my own opinion, most upcoming DeFi projects should be thoroughly studied before investing in them, because as Defi hype is going down fast, most upcoming DeFi projects would only be struggling to even launch or even when they launch, they might not last long.

i have nothing to invest in the upcoming defi project later, i feel like the current defi proejcts are not worth to invest. they don't bring anything that they are supposed to and just throwing up some random ideas that can not even work together and they just make a project for grabbing some easy money from investors. i do not want to fall into that and would rather to just invest my money into trading instead

I am wacthing eporium finance as it is offer us to real token use cases, with holding CEFI we can get discount in luxury goods, another DeFi project i wacth is Unicap finance, it is looked good because finexpo behind this DeFi.

There are message channels that post updates about defi and other crypto stuff like CryptoDiffer, however don't follow anything they post simply use it as a lead and do your own examination. Defi venture is that another layer to the blockchain which refining the undertaking or whatever else. I figure it would be security includes that monitor the undertaking to an additional level.

Currently there are so many Defi projects appearing, if you explore deeper, there are still very many Defi projects that need to be reviewed, so you don't get into a scam project, in my opinion many of the defi projects aim only to attract  investors' money yes even though there are several Defi projects that have the potential and are worthy of investing, namely projects that have been active in the world of cryptocurrency for a long time, I myself don't have the option to join the defi project  ,

i sold it but thinking of buying again. They are actively developing and i think this is the next big thing in the NFT scene. might overthrow axie infinity

Lucky those who's been here from the start of this thread because for sure they are the one who makes good investment specially those new listed DEFI because had come to Great support from Whales and manipulators .

What you said is right, but most of the well-established companies are showing a lot of interest towards the Defi model, now we are getting higher percentages in Defi, in the coming days we won't see this much high prices because in order to survive Defi they need to reduce APY on what they are holding.

Where there's opportunity for fast and easy money, there's where the ants will go. Of course every blockchain company's going to Defi now, when they don't even realize Defi is Bitcoin and Bitcoin is the true Defi.

With bitcoin reaching new highs, I am sure that defi projects will get some of this increase as well, I am not so sure about whats going to happen, it could be anything in the end but I think its going to be great for defi because these projects will look to be a great return, APY will be high, and bitcoin will make people a lot of profit and those profits will go to something else to make more profit as well, which I think will be new defi projects.

I can't know that for sure, maybe it will be nothing in the end and maybe I am wrong, maybe new projects will not get any money at all, but I just think its going to be profitable. Of course you need to find decent and legit ones, if you pick a scam project you and everyone else will be scammed.

Everything depends upon choosing the investment we do, even though our research a lot about the Defi project, but many of those Defi projects will get into a scam. I do agree with flare finance as it was using XRP to build the hype but I could not agree with hakka finance to be used as a big bet.
I have checked hakka and there's no a lot of activities happened with its development progress. It seems like the volume of hakka will be going down even deeper. people started to move into the legit coins rather than still betting into the defi coins right now. The defi hype is over.

we must be very careful and at the same time take into account the specifics of DeFi. In the cryptocurrency market, users believe much more easily than they verify what they believe in. Many people speak very badly about ICOs, especially those having negative experience, but in my opinion DeFi is even worse because most of these projects are not based on innovative models, and as a result, if problems arise, they will collapse and the level of mistrust will increase many times over. Therefore, if we have already entered the Decentralized Finance industry, then please use at least the simplest methods of project appraisal in order to avoid a global catastrophe due to your frivolity.

DeFi project is not good for investing right now because many last their project coin have lower price and become the same situation with new DeFi coin because when listing on market price dump. I don't wanna buy new coin if have platform with DeFi because have tired with many last investment on DeFi coin always failed to get profit.
