Post by: dieseridris on August 25, 2020, 11:38:29 AM
Hello guys,
yesterday i deposit on Blockchain.com 1000€ and bought BTC with it. The transaction was completed and the money send to my Trading Wallet. To pay/trade with them I have to send them to my „normal“ Wallet. Normally this needs an hour but it‘s more than a day now and really need to work with them. Can smb help me please?

It probably means you transaction has not yet been confirmed due to low transaction fees.

1. What's the name of the "normal" wallet your were sending BTC to?
2. Is your transaction Replace by Fee (RBF) enabled? If yes, it's possible to bump up the fee but it might not be possible doing it in Blockchain wallet
3. Can share your TxID if you don't mind, so that we can tell what is possibly wrong? If you can't, try checking if the transaction is confirmed or not using a bitcoin blockchain explorer like blockchair.com

If you have used the correct address, your BTC are safe and are not lost.

Can you check the transaction on a block explorer? Chances are high that it isn't confirmed yet.
Visit https://blockchair.com/ (https://blockchair.com/) and enter either the sending-/receiving address or the transaction id. If you see the transaction and everything is correct (amount, address) then you don't have to worry. It probably just takes some time depending on the fee used.

Feel free to share the txid or address, so we can check it on a block explorer.

Did you send it to your account on the exchange website/feature of blockchain.com?

https://exchange.blockchain.com/trade

That is an  internal transfer between your  Blockchain.com accounts and it should happen literally instantly. Address support with the issue. No one here will be able to help you.
I agree.

No one is able to help you as you have already sent it to your receiving exchange wallet. The exchange of blockchain.com has a chat support, message them and they will assist you with that transaction and transfer.

I guess you and this guy has the same issue.
Same as you, he bought bitcoin on blokchain.com and transfer the funds from trading wallet to bitcoin wallet, but the user got an error response.

Now I can see a message saying: Your BTC will be available to be withdrawn within 7 days.

Maybe you can see now this message and it takes 7 days before you can transfer it lmao.

Is this recent policy by Blockchain.com not communicated properly? It seems like lots of users are complaining about the same thing. And finally there's a clear timeline when it user will be able to withdraw it: 7 days.

That's a long ass time. Might as well use P2P platform if you need to wait that long to withdraw your Bitcoin.

I have already seen several similar complaints for Coinbase. It is strange to me that there is no clear communication on their part if the 7 days waiting period is 'new normal'. ;)

In any case, the best way is to communicate things like this with their support.

Yes, we had the same discussion just a few days ago.

This post might help you dieseridris.

I feel scammed...all times before it was instant so when I know this, I would never use this service. Will close my account when funds released..
And guess what about support and my ticket... 30 hours with no reply!

This user had to wait 7 days before getting his money back....  That might be your case also.

I should note this, I am receiving my earnings from campaigns to my blockchain.com account so far no problem at all Bitcoin was credited in real time when confirmed, this could not be an isolated case because there were already two reports if this is the new policy I would have to use my other non custodial wallet.

I bet this case is only when buying in bitcoin/altcoin on blockchain.com which funds will be funded to its trading wallet and should have manually transfer to its normal wallet which is the case of OP and other users on the past few days.

...
according to their FAQ, this will happen whenever you buy cryptos using a credit/debit card and they suspect there was something not right (eg. stolen card).
Looks like they added this part recently to their FAQ because they new many of their customers were complaining about not being able to withdraw their purchased coins but they did not bother to answer their tickets!
This shows how unprofessional they are.

The topic just got me think blockchain.com had denied another user of their btc, actually your bitcoin is not lost. So long as you pass through a proper procedure, then your money is safe, just give a time maybe their is an issue using credit/debit card in purchasing bitcoin,
Obviously, I have seen several problems regarding blockchain.com web wallet, it'd would be a nice idea to stop using the wallet while checking on electrum wallet because of it unique features.

So this the reason why you pumped up this thread?

It always a suck using this exchange, a buggy web wallet that usually delayed sending verification code into your wallet. I don't want to use this kind of wallet and of course, I will not trust them to hold my fund.

There are too many ways to buy bitcoin through your credit/debit card and then transfer bitcoin into your cold wallet which is you have full control over your key.
