The DAO concept doesn't seem very interesting to learn, especially now that the concept of DeFi has begun to trend, which is widely liked by people in crypto, automatically the DAO concept through mining will not progress rapidly, because I have also participated in the DAO project from Geoma, but their token is very worthless.

I know this and it seems like there was an old project who has already used this idea too and the participants that can participate in this social mining must have qualified with all of requirements that already used by the team.

DAO maker and mithril have already used this idea too and it was not going so well like what they have already expected.

5k for a month is relatively small.

A lot of projects did social mining method like elrond and many more. It is actually good, yes 5k monthly for a month is really a small bargain. But I think it will be limited to such users who make a very excellent skills. I know that most of you here are focus on forum bounty but its always good to go outside your comfort zone. I may not be a good social participants here but I believe this is more effective ways on earning aside from social campaign here. Also the project looks good.

It's not. The social mining was not giving a very good impact to the project but the development progress of the project itself will determine how good the project was.

Mithril has already traded almost -90% from the ico price while elrond was doing the opposite thing. that can be an example.

Its the same with bounty campaign. But the social mining is happening on specific platform of dao. If Im not mistaken openpredict is a member of makerdao so i guess this will be a good activity. The budget seems to be low but for active participation of quality user they can benefit a lot from this.

Yeah you can argue that it's an improved version of bounty program where contributions needs to be unique and give meaningful impact to the marketing/promotion of the projects. It's quite nice as it filter bots or spammer from earning a single penny.

So there is a payment required or stake in order to participate? I am not familiar with the social mining so I guess I stick with my regular bounty and signature campaign which give me a clear and natural payment terms.

Im also into altcoin but I think I will do trading instead. Most of the giveaway nowadays becoming hard, to grasp. But I do like opt, its oversubscribed during its trading and a lot got profited with it. I do hope they launch something like campaign here.

I find most of the Proof of stake concepts uninteresting and strange. They should be using something else meaningful as "stakes" rather than currencies/tokens. I guess if you want to participate in 20 or more projects, you'll have to keep acquiring stakes all the time. It's just a horrible idea.

Indeed 25 OPT is quite expensive for some individuals to participate in their social mining but it's not for entrance fees. What you need is only to hold your OPT in your wallet to be qualified in distributions, so you are not losing anything unless the OPT price is going down or being dumped. Otherwise, if the OPT price going up or being pumped you will get double profit from your holding and the rewards from social mining.

$5k is the monthly budget, I think it's not really worthless to do since most of the current exchangeable bounties also allocate their budgets around $5-10k monthly.
