Title: How do you find out about new projects?
Post by: ZEIIMAN on October 07, 2020, 08:31:29 PM
Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects? I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? Let's share useful sources!

Here is my list which makes it easier for me to find:

1 - CryptoDiffer - The list is not very relevant, some projects have already undergone public sale of tokens.
https://t.me/cryptodiffer
https://twitter.com/CryptoDiffer

2 - ICO Analytics - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/ico_analytic

3 - Generation Crypto - News and analysis channel.

4 - Site Polka Project - Allows you to track new projects projects related to Polkadot system.

5 - Cryptodaku

6 - ICO Drops

I'm an investor but not with new projects, is it that really needed to have them discord so that you can chat with their community? Because when you invest, you are particular with that project and you know that it's a good one.
Coinmarketcap has a chat feature, maybe they have their community there.

ICO analytics and cryptodiffers are two of the most popular vhannels that I follow as well.
I would add top7ICo to that list as well.

After going through the new ICO I usually read the white paper of the ICO in detail and also about the past record of the team members before deciding on the ICO.

I have been using CryptoDiffer and Generation Crypto for a really long time, and they provided some really good investment opportunities so far.

Polkaproject is something interesting to me I will bookmark that link. thanks

The best ico list site in the crypto industry and that's called icodrop. More than 90% of icos that have already listed on this platform have become the major coins or successful project.

You should put this in your list too as the owner of icodrop is also very active investing in the legit icos too.

https://icodrops.com/

This most reliable site based on my experience.  ;D

I am not so sure that the current list of ICOs can be easily manipulated in rating the project, the results are not accurate at all, I always see what's new in icodrops, well I admit there are so many new platforms coming up but I can't determine the investment  with that analysis.

Stick to your own stance and conclude with you that any public sale you wish to buy should know your background on the project.

the market actually doesn't look good yet to see a potentially good project in the future, some of the above like the site giving out new ICO projects we seem to know it's outdated and many people avoid projects that hold ICOs or IEOs, let alone about DeFi even it looks like it's going extinct With time, just waiting for a few projects that have great potential in the future with a large community growth, I have not found what interesting projects to look at there, but try to see my signature and learn  ;)

Twitter and YouTube as well as 4chan you'll really find most new and promising projects in there but be careful as most of them are just paid shills but as advice as always it's best to DYOR. This forum isn't new to the one asked in the OP since most of the new launched projects do prefer to be announced here, mostly for SEO purposes and it's on the Announcement (Altcoins) board or maybe it's discussed also in this board (Altcoins Discussion).

You wanna checkout altcoin announcement section of this forum where you'll find what you're looking for. There are websites that may help you choose a project but you need to look into their announcement thread and see what kind of response they are getting, add their social media performance to it specially twitter.

The sites that you given is good for us and for those who are looking always for the new project but it's better to make a lot of research and even a little details of the project is better for the persok who looking is to do that because more new project is really good in hiding so you will not noticed if that is scam or not the only we can do is to take risk and to do a research of the project you wanted to invest.

Still waiting from all fields, whether it's exchanges or new projects to arrive, because until now no one has provided good aspects about new projects, whether it's ICO or IEO and added DeFi, there has been no interest in my interest in the past two years this is about a project that carries out these three, because it is not yet time to see anything fanatical, because time can answer it all, whether to survive the three or in the future there are several methods that will satisfy both parties, investors and bounty hunters ...

In my opinion one of the best sources to find out about new projects is the Service Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0) board here on Bitcointalk. Almost every reliable project will create a announcement thread here and it's pretty easy to tell if people are really interested in the new projects or if it's only bots that are pushing the thread to the top.

That's how I recently found out about the Lattice exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278016.msg55257419#msg55257419), a new interesting DEX, which is worth a closer look.  :)

I actually can not recommend icodrops, since they shared so many scams in the past. I honestly don't know how people can still trust this website.

There isn't any good place to find newer projects at the bitcointalk forum. In this forum you can find 90% of the projects about cryptocurrencies, besides the bitcointalk forum also has a large number of users with knowledge and experience in the cryptocurrency market. These people will help you analyze project differences that you have not been able to see.

I gave up the habit of tracking ICO projects from ICO review websites, most of which just gave general evaluation of one ICO. Besides, the ICOs on the web are often described as very good and potential, but the majority will turn into a pile of rubbish. Such websites also do not have mixed comments so that investors can evaluate a project comprehensively.
If you want to invest in the best ICO make your own reviews, don't trust the web.

From my experiences, you can get the information from any forum, like altcoin discussion, or bitcoin forum. But I want to tell you too, that you should see their web or their social media. Especially like Twitter, Facebook, and even their Telegram Group. You can get more information about their project too.

I am not investing in new projects, but I am looking for new projects to join the bounty program. Usually, I search for this forum in the Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) section. In that part, tons of new projects will create ICOs and IEOs, but some become scams.

I find thing mostly in the bounty hunting forums. Im not onle to invest with real money in coins and i should probably reevaluate that choice, but i learn about new coins in bounty hunting forums, and then i search them and if they look promising i take a gig and it goes on from that.

Be informed that you cant follow the coins provided by the about crypto analysis group. Meanwhile, if you put the performance of all new cryptocurrency since the year 2018 that offer initial offering after exchange listing you'll see that 80% of them dump below the price of it initial offering which make invest in crypto during initial offering not to be profitable and I will advise you to invest once they are listed on exchange which will also give you the chance to earn coins when they start the coin trading competition.
For exchange listing alert use cryptocurrency alerting (https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/new-coin-listings.html)

I didn't ask how I could analyze a project or with the help of someone. I understand perfectly well that ratings are bought, paid reviews are written, and so on. The final decision will still be mine. I want to be one of the first to learn about projects. That's what I need.

There are a lot of channels that provide information about new projects in the crypto space. For me, most of the crypto and project that I knew and have gained a lot were from youtube channels. So far their review of the many new project have influenced me to invest and fortunately I have gained a lot from them. I also follow reddit crypto channels and they have been my source for projects that moon.

I have joined the groups above but there are a lot of bad projects, even scams.  they just list the project arbitrarily so that their channel has a lot of followers, I don't appreciate this action.
Anyway, thank you for your contribution to the community.  I still wish we would have a notification channel about new projects, but all of which has been analyzed before ^^

I guess this might be a bit useful for me when there ain't no new projects popping up here in the forum.
I ain't in the mood yet to throw my money at new projects these days after the ICOs days back in 2017 although that would be a really long time, I lost a lot during that time.
This forum is quite enough for me to search for projects that could potentially be profitable.

ICO Analytics is a channel about new project news that will emerge, I sometimes use this to select the project I want to invest in as well as be a part of it as well. on the other hand I use this forum and other social media channels such as Twitter and YouTube. this makes it easier for me to know every project that will come up.

Nice procedure. In my experience I missed several new coins, just visited this forum. Some different rating sites help me to find a new project name. To research by ANN thread or white paper, I'm following the Bitcoin forum. But we shouldn't follow or promise from ICO Analytics. These sites or channels help with different scam projects.

It looks like there are still so many people who are using the analytic site as their base to get the information about the ico. I personally just used the cryptorank and try to know ROI analytic that has already made by anysite. I rarely participated in the ICO that outside of exchange site.

Cryptorank was also publishing the legit icos too. I like icoanalytics but i rarely used this one as the site to get any data regarding the potential of ICO or IEO. It's very interesting.

Hmm, the best subreddits I can recommend to you are r/CryptoCurrency and r/CryptoMarkets. They have the most number of subscribers so I guess those would be a great option. Honestly, it was very seldom to find posts there discussing/promoting a particular project so try to join their daily discussion. You can see a lot of suggestions there. But I'll give you a warning, reading on such megathreads is a little bit confusing so bring a lot of patience ;D. Good luck!

For information, we can indeed get it from various social media channels, especially telegram groups created by managers specifically, the rest we ourselves have to find out through social media pages such as Twitter and other crypto forums, but we also have to filter it yourself because not all bounty projects can be good to follow.

Coinmarketcap has a chat feature, maybe they have their community there.

no, you can contact the community team of the project directly either from social media or via the given email.
investing in new projects will be difficult in the long term because few will survive.
So the goal for the average person to invest in a new project is to make quick profits.

he knows the risk of investin in newer projects thats why he chose to pick older projects  , i like an investor with that kind of initiative because they are a great example for other investors and they encourage creators that create quality project to work for more and not get discourage of the growing competition because most of them are just an illusion and not really legit . the goal of investing on new projects to make a quick profit may sound easy but this isnt always the case that happen because mostly new projects are just skem .

Icobench is a site that can't be trusted by anyone. There are so many threads in this forum that has already discussed the reputation of icobench and some people have even confirmed that icobench was doing a very shady thing just like create fake review and rating for the scam project.
It's clear that if icobench was getting paid by the scam project to create fake review.

I think that you must think again for a twice before try to take it as a choice to get the information regarding the new ico.

The OPs post is a solid aggregator of quite credible sites, for sure. I tend to stick to my selected Telegram groups, one of them has been mentioned, CryptoDiffer. Others are IcoDrops, Top 7 ICO, ICO Analytics etc. Those are announcement channels that are announcing any upcoming promising sales, listings etc., all in all, very handy.

It seems that everyone has their own differences and way of assessing the projects they want to invest in or become investors.

For example the people in this topic.

Topic: How to choose a good project? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096183.0)

Topic: How do you find new promissing projects? Here is how i do it. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3097314.0)

I admit it, all the suggestions / ways you do to invest in a particular project / token can be said, ok.

In 2018, I have done the same thing as you did, initially smooth tokens grew rapidly in the market, entering the year 2019 everything is lost / plummeting, fortunately the tokens I invested in one of the projects, I immediately auctioned it off without experiencing any losses.

Currently I have another method that I do, I am more interested in investing in tokens / projects that have been listed on certain exchanges at this time, in terms of price can be played a little bit than being an investor in the current project, than the newly launched Project / token.

I don't find out about the new projects, but I prefer to invest in the market already listed. I don't choose too many projects to be the investment because that can confuse me to move based on market situations. Investing in new projects can not always be potential because many projects can change to scammed anytime. So you can find out the news about the latest project from the site you listed, but you need to find out more on another website, so you can compare the data you have, which can help you select the project.

But as I mentioned, I mostly invest in established projects to lessen the risk of being scammed.

By the term established projects what do you mean, That you invest in the projects that are already listed on exchanges or that the projects which are currently in ICO but have raised good amount of funds. I must say that in both of these cases the amount of money that you can make is very low as compared to investing in ICO in early stages where you can literally make 10x of your investment if the project takes off after getting listed on the exchanges.
For me also this forum serves as a great resource for finding out about new projects and their important announcements. But there is a problem too as on daily basis a lot of projects post their announcement and only a few are good, so a lot of spam has to be filtered out of the watchlist also.

You have a good resources, I prefer Bitcointalk when looking for a new projects, I can't find a good reason why developers will not open an announcement thread here to introduce their project to the Crypto community, unless they are hiding something and do not want to get expose, because every project will be investigated and if they have plan to scam investors they will expose here.

I learn about new projects from Bitcointalk, there are good topics that track the emergence of good new projects very well, that's enough for me. But I also use for investing only existing projects that work and which in my opinion, have good prospects for development. I can also pay attention to new projects, on the advice of my friend, who analyzes projects very well, studies them and can share good advice.

My personal journey has been following many discord and telegram groups based around investing and OTC trading.
Once you're in them long enough, you'll see some projects popping up all around, and sure enough, 90% of those are interesting with great potential.

As for those review sites, we all know who icobench operated, so their reviews, and similar site reviews, should be taken with a bit of a reservation

one way to find out whether the project is good or not is to try it, after that you will get used to choosing a project whether the project is good or not.
because already experienced.

As a beginner, you can take several steps,
First, you can visit the Bitcointalk forum, because most new projects always make announcements about their projects,
Second, you can follow several telegram groups that specifically discuss cryptocurrency projects, such as ICOBENCH, there you will always find lots of new projects to be reviewed,
And in addition you can join telegram groups that discuss cryptocurrency, usually there you will find new facts that not many people know, because there are lots of interesting discussions about cryptocurrency projects.

Thanks for the list, atleast I have a new reference now on where to search the latest crypto projects. But basically what I do is I invested in stable projects rather than newer ones. New projects might have a shot as well, but I’ve witnessed the pumps and dumps in crypto space that’s why I try to be cautious.

I don't have much money to invest in new projects. What I'm trying to do is to keep track of traditional investors who are switching to crypto and try to keep track of where they invest. Generally these people research the team's names, feasibility and guarantee some cash flow in the long time.

a16z for example is the group that I observe the most. I can't participate in groups like these suggested because it is difficult to filter what is paid marketing from what is a well-structured financial advice.

I personally only use the Bitcointalk forum to find new bounty projects that will come up, on the other hand most forum users also use the project signature slot so you have no trouble knowing the project either from the member signature banner or in a special thread about altcoin announcements or bounty thread.

Telegram and YouTube channels, ANN topics in crypto forums, blogs and sites that announce upcoming projects, and you must carefully review any project before investing or working with it, because the project may be scam or it may fail, so you should read their whitepaper and make sure of the team’s experience in the success of the project.

THose platforms mention are on twitter and Telegram, their members and followers have ability to meet the teams and ask your question, we have more AMA with all this platforms than in previous ICO years that are more discrete. This does not give a open answers, every investors will still need to do its research and no one can be 100% safe with all the hardwork to prevent scam.

Haven't clicked on any of those link, but kinda looks like bunch of sites that promote shitty projects. Do the websites do their research on how legit the project is? Will they take responsible if people gets scammed? I don't think so. There are here with their referral links and paid contents. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them are controlled by one person. But I am pretty much sure they get paid to promote any project. They don't care if its a scam project as long as they get paid.
Stop joining those groups or following those twitter accounts. Do your own research!

It's way hard to read and analyze them all, especially if lf were eyeing in too many projects. I just learn to watch during DeFi projects the explanation via YouTube wherein the developers explains their project well. If the developer able to answer key questions and explain the use and idea of their project I skip on reading the whitepaper and just for us on searching whether there are also people investing in thru their own telegram and will know how active the team is and knowledgeable in their project.

I rarely need to check any websites or newsletters to find about new projects because im following a lot of people with similar interests and mostly those people are much kore experienced than me in this field so i do follow them and i often see they post about a new good project and if i like the initial look then i try to study more about the project before buying into the project but still there are often chances of failures so no guarantees.
Besides following those people, you should search from the other sources, so you will have additional data to give you more information about what you want. If you can have much info, I think that will make your analysis completed, and you can decide what to do related to the current situations. It will give you more chances to create another strategy, just if the market situations change in the other direction. You will know what strategy you can use.

There is an opinion that experienced managers are more responsible in choosing the bounties they represent. One of these managers is Hhampuz, who introduced the new JACS project yesterday.tech with a reward pool equivalent to $ 700,000. Hmmm basically i never used all of these

Let me share my experience on it

Prior to 2020, i used basically Bitcointalk in 2016-2018
After the crypto bull wildfire stopped when Bitcoin peaked at $20,000
I don't look for project in Bitcointalk anymore
Not because there is no legit/potential project, but more scams arise

I now only find out new project when the project randomly pop up in Coinmarket biggest gainer/loser, or coingecko hot topic
Word of mouth through Twitter is another way of how i find about projects

ICO calendar on the coindesk also can be useful to identify the upcoming cryptos projects but unfortunately we can't see much projects on those lists, don't know the real reason but in my opinion new projects not even reaching any amount in their fund raising program that is why they dropped new projects especially ICOs.

I believe what is represented by Hhampuz he will know to research a good project to promote this is quite a big reward of $ 700k maybe if it is really successful like this TemTum then hunters will be happy to join the one managed by Hhampuz.

Every day future projects always appear, but sometimes we find it difficult to identify them in analyzing the project.

Yes in this crypto spce every day a lots of new projects launched. And it's really hard to watch all of them. There are few resources where people normally find new projects. The first one is coinmarketcap. Coinmarketcap has a specific section called newly listed coins where you can find many new projects. Other than that you can try icoanalyst. Some telegrap group like crypto generation also give update about big new projects. And mostly you can find many new projects in this forum too. So these are the source I normally use. You can try other resources of your known.

I don't have the time and energy to check all the crypto channels all the time to keep up to date plus my IT knowledge is very limited so i can't judge a project based on it's source code or something.
Most of them time i hear about new promising projects in a investment pool telegram group that i am part of. When i see that a specific project is asked about a lot of times for a pool i look into that project further.

I also use some of the channels that you share but that is just for information that there is a new project that is hype. I will definitely do some research again because it will make me relieved and no regret to invest in a new project that other people have shared. Make it just a reference unless you really believe it because you get testimonials from yourself. Analyzing itself is good because it will increase our knowledge so that one day we will be able to do it better ourselves.

From the list, I only use the ICO Analytics telegram channel to track the latest updates from new projects. Sometimes it is hard to check each project one by one but it well worth it at the end if I can found what I am looking for. The Polkadot projects are not successful nowadays, maybe it should be replaced with better alternative sources. Checking each ICO analytics site one by one will not add anything new and my experience let me to filter the potential projects after checking it for 20 minutes. Investing in the new projects has such downsides and we have no other choices except accepting this fact.

What filter they have? Can you explain? And what name of the Big media you said above?

I'd say all of crypto medias is the shittiest promoter since they only get paid from the project while they don't know what the project is, usually they will wrote the "disclaimer" in the bottom page.

I thought we were just wasting our time finding a legit altcoin project at this point. Some of these project still have the potential to benefit investor and that is very rare. I wouldn't go far enough to browse through different types of project if it's just looking to join the bounty. Nor would it be nice to blindly join any bounty without any research. It will only be a waste of time and effort.

I'd say all of crypto medias is the shittiest promoter since they only get paid from the project while they don't know what the project is, usually they will wrote the "disclaimer" in the bottom page.

What you're saying may have a point is the fact that many of these promotor only advertise project even though they have no potential at all. As long as the developer is able to pay for the site to display these ads, the site will continue to display them in the list.

The best ico list site in the crypto industry and that's called icodrop. More than 90% of icos that have already listed on this platform have become the major coins or successful project.

You should put this in your list too as the owner of icodrop is also very active investing in the legit icos too.

https://icodrops.com/

This most reliable site based on my experience.  ;D

I agree, most of the projects listed on ico drop are good and successful projects in the market.
so this site is specifically for good projects, I don't know what they review the site based on but the project is generally successful.

Here? Why would I need anywhere else, the moment there is a new thing in the market they just simply make it know and they publish it here as well hell most of them start their own topic on bitcointalk as well, just go take a look at other parts of altcoin board like announcement and you will see that there are tons of coins that started their own topics.

For the ones that do not start their own ones, there are ones here in discussion board for people who would like to talk about it but they are rare and usually unsuccessful projects anyway because good ones at least start a topic here even if not be active in it. So long story short I do not need anywhere else, sure I could use them and it could help me but that doesn't mean that I have to use them, they are just good to haves and not musts.

The thing is, I am not that keen on using twitter. I mostly just read there.
Then telegram, ah that application sucks when you join the wrong groups and so many pm's coming in with an offer of help which in the end is a scam.
I am not even opening that application anymore.

I simply use this forum for updates. Then, Google the ICO project and directly go to the webpage to read everything about them.

Don't you think that these opinions are biased just like the users claim that they take money from the project marketing teams to boost up the ICO ratings which makes pretty easy to scam the people and thus these sites aren't that reliable anymore and I think there is a need for decentralized ICO rating websites that can work on proof of person mechanism just like IDENA can be implemented in the voting system, with the use of which the ratings can't be manipulated by a single identity and would also be reliable because it will reflect what the community thinks about the project.

Most ICO ratings are biased as they are paid by respective projects. So if you want unbiased area where you can find new blockchain projects, why go too far? In this forum - the ANN ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 ) and the Tokens ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0 ) boards will provide you all new and old projects that you can check out with. You can check their thread and read what's going on in each and every project. Honestly, this is my first place to check new crypto projects. Very rare that I will go to ICO or other website ratings as a lot of them are rigged.

I only use bitcointalk on the altcoins. There is nowhere else to find new projects because I find it unbelievable when the news comes from somewhere. The users in the forum just share information and that is where I will have to find truth to it by research. If I find it on facebook I will search for it still but many of them will just be scam if they are not shared here.

If you found a new project being announced, you will still need to research about it. You just can't treat it like it is because thats the way you get scammed.

I trust a channel that is professional and experienced, more detailed and objective in reviewing a potential project. The telegram channels I like to check out new projects for are https://t.me/ico_analytic and https://t.me/cryptofenrir.
Well, we also have to be careful and don't rush to agree with other people's opinions, we must have our own basis for judgment, adjusting to the risks and abilities of each. New projects are risky, I do not like to get into something before it is even released, I understand that there were people who made 100x of their profit recently thanks to defi projects and all, there was also a lot of people, actually even more people, who lost their money to that as well and there is even a bigger, a huuuuge number of people whose money is locked and they are waiting to see if they will profit or if their money is gone.

It is the main reason why I think it is quite important to not get in very early. If I get into something very early and I do not know that very well (as in they haven't been around for years) that means I will be in constant fear if my money is gone totally or if I am profiting, that uncertainty is not something I can live with.

To find information about a good and promising project in investing not only in the website that exists outside because it is not necessarily accurate and reliable because some websites they only do paid promotion, in contrast to the review in this forum.  Member this forum usually tells the truth because not all members here do promotional projects, let alone high-rank members, usually that they say is true. So I believe more with a review in this forum compared to the review website is outside.

I believe that every good new projects will find their way to this forum for more exposure, they need to send the words out about their projects with various means and the most important move is ANN page on Bitcointalk forum, this will direct traffick to the project's website and reveal more about the project too, I prefer using this forum to find new projects than other means, scam projects are everywhere and the fastest way to avoid one is this forum and that is if you know what you are doing though.

I think we can browse the new projects on several IEO listing on some exchanges.

These kind of channel all request money to mention a project. That is why they are mostly untrustable sources. Of course being aware about the projects that are mentioned there is a good thing. But if they mention a project, it does not mean that the project has a good hype and potential.

Telegram and YouTube channels, ANN topics in crypto forums, blogs and sites that announce upcoming projects, and you must carefully review any project before investing or working with it, because the project may be scam or it may fail, so you should read their whitepaper and make sure of the team’s experience in the success of the project.
Telegram is usually a great source as well because it has to pass the friend test before it can reach you. We all have a group that we are in that has thousands of people, if you are not involved with something like that check your local telegram groups and you can find one huge group for your own nation, every nation has that which consists of thousands of people.

When you meet with a lot of people there and constantly chat with them, it is reasonable that you build a friend group as well, I have one that is like 20 people and we are all about same minded people who like to see things around the same way with some differences that doesn't matter. So at the end, if one of them finds a new projects and talks about it we all take a look at it and give our verdict, if we all like it we all go into it, if we dislike it we say it so.

I didn’t following any specific ICO/IEO related platform to know about upcoming projects, though icodrops is my favorite here i feel easy to browsing and learn about details. Icobench was quite popular help to find out new legit projects but now they providing fake rating. Mostly i found new projects in this forum.

dunno about the fake rating at icobench, but maybe it's their algorithm that set to be like that. coz when reputable person joined the project's it will increase the score? but that's true icodrops is more reliable

my way to find a promising new project is to look for it in some exchangers that do IEOs, especially in the top 10 exchangers it will be very promising before I invest even I look at whitepapers and analysis from professionals as well to maximize my analysis
The way you do that is a very extraordinary way, because currently there are several good projects that also have clear benefits, but we also have to always maximize our analysis on every new project at this time.

There are various ways to find a new project that will be successful in the future, as you mentioned above, but I personally prefer projects that are listed on the market because the prospects for success are clear.
Yes, the average bounty project hunter prefers projects that have been listed on several exchanges, because that will clearly show how much profit they will get while participating in the project.

Since the defi trend and all of the IEO on binance have already launched through use the binance launch pool. you will rarely seen binance to use its launch pad again as binance is now focusing to grab the demand from the defi users again to increase its trading volume on the binance exchange site.

You must also be careful when you have decided to trust someone as there are so many shillers too. Take others opinion is a good thing but you must also try to put your belief in the trusted platforms or DYOR.

Not all the times where high-rank members of this forum would really be telling the truth but somewhat this is much more worth to consider first than on seeing others false feedback.
Nothing really beats out on real time feedbacks and insights do came from on a place where its each sentiment and views would be publicize and might really able to get neither
get a support or a criticism came from real people not on just a manipulative way of review which is given by a site which of course these will really be positive in most of the time.
Finding out new project can really be came from lots of sources neither on a site, messaging platform, social media. What matter most here is that they do know on how to verify
anything.

when I want to invest in the market already listed projects. I don't pick such a large number of projects to be the investment since that can confound me to move dependent on market circumstances. Investing in new projects can not generally be potential in light of the fact that numerous projects can change to scammed whenever. So you can discover the report about the most recent project from the webpage you listed.
so therefore i always make my research beyond the popular websites that everyone already uses and i have been able to uncover so great Defi projects

The best ico list site in the crypto industry and that's called icodrop. More than 90% of icos that have already listed on this platform have become the major coins or successful project.

You should put this in your list too as the owner of icodrop is also very active investing in the legit icos too.

https://icodrops.com/

This most reliable site based on my experience.  ;D

I actually can not recommend icodrops, since they shared so many scams in the past. I honestly don't know how people can still trust this website.

That's correct also and do not promote or take those sites to other people if they trust they will scam, but it depends on their work and exploring the sites for every project they can see and to manage, better to make securing than join and join but its useless.

From my experiences, you can get the information from any forum, like altcoin discussion, or bitcoin forum. But I want to tell you too, that you should see their web or their social media. Especially like Twitter, Facebook, and even their Telegram Group. You can get more information about their project too.

Yes, that's right, that's what analyzing a project is called.
We need to analyze data about the project you are going to invest in, so that we can conclude with a hypothesis about the project's future. In cryptocurrency, there are so many projects that fail when they start launching their business model to the public. And that's natural, we lose money because the business model doesn't sell well in the market. It's out of our control.

But if we do a more detailed analysis, chances are we will be able to minimize this. We need data from the team regarding their profile and background, as well as the achievements they achieved at university, we also need to regularly analyze the roadmap and progress regarding the project. We also need to analyze the project from another point of view, so that we know how much potential this project is.

But the most people use I think coinmarketcaos newly listed tab. Whenre you can find  almsot every coin which listed on some exchanges or released in market. It it's not okay then you can go for coingecko or many telegram group like crypto generation or crypto analyst and there's many more. Now it's upto you.

It's not such a big problem to find a new project and study it from the first to the last page, for all new startups entering the market, this is all very similar. It seems to me that in order to make a decision on investing in a project, you need to know who is investing in it at the initial stage, what people or groups, on which exchange there will be a listing, that is, knowing things that you will have a much greater understanding of the project than having studied its roadmap.

Unfortunately scammers often fake white papers, we have to really do in-depth research and make sure they are genuine. The easiest thing is to check the collaborative partners of the project, if they are legit, there will definitely be an official announcement from the related partner about the collaboration. that.
Don't easily trust investment advice, especially from websites that give ICO ratings, it's often a paid promotion. We have to really know what we are going to invest, not only based on other people's suggestions, but we also have to have a good reason. We have to be prepared for the worst.

Well, having some source of getting a good project is one way to get a good project to join or promote if you are a bounty hunter. The only problem is that even how good the project may it be still chances are that it can change like being a failure because all projects here depend on the community or the support of the crowd which give the funds for the project to work.

There are many reasons even a good project that will not going to be successful and mostly because of greed people bringing the projects that the they eventually became scammers after collecting funds from the community.

But that's how it is. Investing prior to the release of the project to the market will give an investor an advantage from doing so. It is quite a matter of having educated guess whether a project would be successful in a long run. Investing upon the release would somehow be a mess, because after the release of projects' platform, majority are not continuing the development which would more yield to loss. Most of the projects are now short-termed.

well I think you really have to research the project being developed before deciding to invest a few dollars in a project, I suggest that maybe you can participate in JACS which I think is very good and very useful in the future because there is an increase in the use of IPv4 to IPv6 networks and have many other advantages so make the best use of it so you can get a profit.

Bounty promos are usually biased and not a good source for this purpose. Better to check the ANN thread or ICO analysis websites, IMHO. I don't dent the fact that there are valuable sources for checking the ICOs but the biased opinions can cost more than making a newbie mistake on investment world. You should care about the continues development in all cases because like in stock market the value of stock share depends on the fundamental background.

Sometimes it matters where you find the project because you can see the potential based on the background of the handler of the  project and how reliable the roadmap of it.  Projects here are posted at announcement, bitcoin services, and bounties

this forum give us a lot informations about crypto including a new project in crypto world my friend
just click notify button on announcements and tokens board in this forum and you will get notification if a new thread created in that boards my friend
mostly a new thread is a new crypto project buddy
Same here, I actually did the same thing. The only site that I am working with new projects is Bitcointalk and no other because we have here an announcement section where new projects will post and appear. We can also read feedbacks from professionals exchanging and sharing ideas whether a project is scam or not, they also discuss pros and cons or something that is to be launch with potential so I am glad I am here.
I understand that bitcointalk is the largest forum on the web, but you need to understand that you will not learn about many projects if your source of information is only this forum.
Although top projects as I understand it do not need this already. By the way, it seems to me that many projects do not try to publish a topic about their project, since the forum has a very strong community and then FUD will start in their direction. But in turn, many different one-day projects appear here.

Good projects are listed outside the forum but if you are a bounty hunter the only thing that you could get here are those projects to which you think would be better. In my case I only wait to join new projects like the project I had right now. After seeing it in the altcoin bounties section I decided to join right away because I have not always seen a legendary rank user promoting a project. This because account here is very precious and that they do like to make a thorough research as a bounty manager before accepting the project.

I trusted Bitcointalk for that thing and as far as I know, there is a topic opened here where all good projects are being listed. All you need to do is check those projects and decide whether to participate or not. There's also a discussion here where you can join. By the fact that being put in that discussion you can start your own research to choose the project, you will participate or join.

Conceivably great venture later on, a portion of the above like the site giving out new ICO ventures we appear to realize it's obsolete and numerous individuals evade ventures that hold ICOs or IEOs, let alone about DeFi even it would seem that it's going terminated with time. introductory contribution which make put resources into crypto during beginning contribution not to be beneficial and I will encourage you to contribute whenever they are recorded on trade which will likewise allow you to procure coins when they start the coin exchanging rivalry.

ICO ventures from ICO audit sites, the majority of which just gave general assessment of one ICO. Plus, the ICOs on the web are regularly portrayed as awesome and potential, however the larger part will transform into a heap of waste. I imagine that will make your examination finished, and you can choose what to do identified with the current circumstances. It will give you more opportunities to make another technique, just if the market circumstances alter in the other course.

Bounty promos are usually biased and not a good source for this purpose. Better to check the ANN thread or ICO analysis websites, IMHO.
Yeah. I know for the first time a new project from the bounty of course from various sources will be needed before investing. The most important thing is not to be too hasty and always be careful of new projects

Honestly, with all the sites presented by the OP, it is not my priority to check ICO ranking sites. I check projects here in the forum, the ANN and Tokens board. And also, check the scam accusations board. Because some projects have existing allegations and that will be a warning signal if you are seriously investing on a particular project. You can check also the profile of the project owner, as sometimes they have feedback from users here that are not so good, which you can use as a starting point to investigate more about the project.

I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? On Twitter I am looking for new projects because I see a lot of people promoting new and old projects there in fact there are bounty projects out there but not all of them they release are legit there are also scams so the ones I join are old project where they do round 2 in their presale or they release round 2 bounty their project.
Looking on twitter how many follower become my characteristic how to know good project or not, I am looking who promote this project and how many good project follow their twitter, some time how many follower is not important with worth or not bounty campaign project, I found many project have thousand follower but still less worth after their campaign ended with little reward coin, I am getting with bitcointalk tread how many senior or hero member account level give the rating about this project, we can see how many positive and negative comment with their project running and calculated by our self does work or not joining that bounty campaign project.

1) Google : most of the project am enjoying today, I found the information from google which I really do some verification before I start investing my coins on them.
2) platform: most of the new project  on board today where discovered from the platform that make them believed the platform as a source of good information. Like bitcoin platform which many people are getting information from about good project and bad project.
3) market: many people found new project from market. Many people bring different project to market for people to make their choice.

The cryptocurrency ecosystem has lots and lots of coins and tokens and systems that were added to for the last decade, that it is now becoming so confusing for many, which would be a good investment or which investments would be very profitable. So many of us just simply resort to emulating people that already invested first before us and we try to imitate their ways of investing and trading so this would be beneficial to a project that basically has connections with these investors. A new project with a weak marketing and weak  connection, however great their project would be, won't be able to get the funds they need and it is set to fail.

There are lots of way to find new projects in the market. Every day many new projects come to the market and it's really hard to know all of them. Normally you can track them in places like ico analytics or ico drops or in any co bench. You will find that's are going be launch in the market. But if you want to find projects which are newly listed then coinmarketcap has a separate option for that. Or you can also check coin gecko. And there are lots of resource available to sove this. You can try on your own if yiu find anything new.

From the above listed, and as an ICO investors I go for ICOdrops because ICOdrops is a score internet site that offers you with the important thing data on their indexed ICOs in a easy form. Their score machine takes under consideration 3 elements, which might be Hype fee, Risk fee and ROI fee. Based on those elements they fee the hobby of the ICOs from impartial to very high.
On their internet site you may additionally comply with how a whole lot every ICO has raised up to now of their investment technique both %-sensible and in absolute greenback amounts, and the way a long way they may be from accomplishing their hardcap.

ICODROPS and CRYPTODIFFER are my two major handles to find new projects. I turned on their Twitter notifications so that I don't miss any update. There are mant project analysis and ranking platforms / websites but most are paid rankings, so I just check project information and do more personal research to know if the project is worth investing or not, and not just investing because the project has a 5 star ranking. In the past ICOBENCH used to be ny major source for getting new projects but with time things changed.

My search is initially through the announcement thread on our forum. Further I explore on other sites like ico drops to get the suggestions and the real schedule of the project. I feel having an announcement thread on our forum a trust to the project, but how far this is real isn't known. However in recent days more projects are getting launched, and more awaiting. As these sites provide paid service it is quite hard to know about the real market and usability of the project.

I'm sure some of the readers are now checking those social media groups to find if there might be a good and up coming projects.
It seems to me that everyone has several telegram groups in which there is a normal daily conversation about the crypto industry and where users share their opinions about crypto news (whether it's new projects, course movements, etc.) Most of the information I get from more experienced friends in such groups.
Yeah there is but those mentioned above are literally group that sharing the new coming projects for us to evaluate earlier and decide once it was released.

I found projects in some crypto channels, learning from my friends, in binance news, in twitter, on exchanges, in ANN board on forum, when project team reach out me to order some service, when I see good bounty/promo/giveaway/AMA, etc. Some projects are good, some are not, but if project don't do massive promo I most likely will never know about its existence.

I think it will be like that, when new projects emerge, they need to have clear and transparent information or have highlights. To evaluate a new project I will search to see if it exists already, visit the website, search wpp (project information will be here), from there you can see this new project say About what, how to solve it? , and what they are doing or are doing. Then I started to care about the project's own token, what will be the distribution or purchase of the project, then I learned about the project's team and an issue I was also very interested in. Who is a project partner? .

Well, one of the easiest way to learn about new projects without going into those websites is the Announcement section within this forum. Most bounties or projects would announce their platform within their own threads so people would be able to engage with the managers or even some developers if they tend to create  the account themselves. This announcement threads are always full of information including their plans for future developments.

there are alot of ways to know them. but one common thing is that they all have twitter accounts , telegram majorly and then do bounty and airdrop . these are effective tools that circulates the emergence of a new project. others are crypto analysis and other websites. using these tools will always keep you abreast of new projects.

Apart from forums, of course, there are many other channels that can provide information about new projects such as telegram, Twitter and other social media, but in this era, information about the emergence of new projects are not too difficult in my opinion, but the most important thing is how the background information about the project and how potential the project is for us to be able to follow, that information is the most important thing for us to know as current bounty participants, because if we are not careful and do not understand in choosing a good project, of course not impossible if we would just waste time working on a scam project.

It is better to find new project from trusted platform such as well known exchanges, rating sites, or trusted crypto news.
On trusted exchanges, we can find some new good IEO listed there and we can join.
We will need more time to take a look in new project to ensure the project is real or scam, but we can save more time if we find it on trusted platforms.

Well, it's a better idea if it is listed on a reputable exchange, it's a plus factor. Good research really paid off. Also, check their partnership, if it's also a good company the better. Now that Defi projects are common, still, you have to be careful also. Nothing changes, there are still scammers that abuse the system.

Good source you have OP in finding a good project that also good for the bounty hunters to work on. Yet, the trend now with the DEFI is almost done because abusers are now also entering the DEFI system promoting DEFI scam projects and we can expect again another failure to a form of crowdfunding projects after the ICO, EIO and STO. Well, we are still developing maybe in the future there will be a truly organize scam free crowdfunding activities.

Promotion/marketing maybe very more important in the cycle that contain larger number of new altcoins. Now the channels to find out are fewer cause of trust. Most 2017/2018 channels are no more trusted, most of them got fund for the promotion and rating leading many to large loss of fund and scam. The fewer ones do not rate coin but give platforms to projects to defend themselves, organizing AMA and providing updates for projects that show seriousness. The AMA open everyone to ask their questions not with bias like before from previous crypto influencers.

I found with many project on bitcointalk forum in bounties altcoin section, I check first which one have to join and looking who are bounty campaign manager. I selective for joining new project because I don't waste my time with bad ICO project and not worth for promoting as bounty campaign, most important I check how long payment distribution after bounty campaign end, many project clearly talk with reward distribution one week after bounty campaign end, but have any campaign distributed after IEO end then have any campaign distributed several phase from 10% each month until 30% every month.

I always make use of my research to know new projects in the marke before taking a step to invest in that particular project.
There are so many bounty hunter who are still hunting fake project hoping that they are dealing with new project that will bring good profit. By carry out your personal research concerning a particular project,if it is profitable or not you will definitely know through your research.

I only rely on the forum by always online and checking good bounty manager to introduce new project. I do believe that there are only few projects here that are actually succeasful. Mostly projects introduce here are scam and this is why I only join on projecta that are promoted by a reputable bounty manager like project now I joined.

Good thing to do that, it's important to read more about the project and what are the plans to be more useful inside this industry, not just a copy

of already existing project and just looking for investors to support the project, with such efforts you'll be saving your time and your money not

being victimized buy scammers and hackers around, it's best not to follow quickly or believe that easily do your research as always,.

I used to join a lot of telegram channels that always made posts about new projects, it's just that I left because at that time most of what they posted were scam projects. For now, I usually only check ICODrops if I want to know about new projects and the rest I know from bounty campaigns or from twitter influencers because I often see them.

Usually I also look for preliminary information from some ICO analyzes, but to be sure I still have more confidence in the information I get from this forum, because it is common knowledge that most ICO analysis is paid to give good ratings on certain projects.

ICO websites can be very misleading because they will add both fake and scam projects together, if you must go through them to find new projects I suggest you do deep research, you can even find better information regarding a project on this forum by simply creating a post about it.

Become our references when searching new project for joining as ICO investment or joining as bounty campaign, right now is not time for joining all project without check how with social media platform channel, looking how many followers have and checking with team and then owner. Most point important is looking how the schedule of project is listed and when their start for ICO or IEO and then when they will list coin on the market, which the market become destination for listing because depend with market give potential good or bad coin at the future.

CryptoDiffer
Cryptodaku
ICO Drops

I have been using these three services for several years now.
Every time I want to know which project to invest in, or what top projects exist on the market now, I turn to these analytical services.
They have proven their competence over the years in the field.

i get information from this telegram group too, its very infomative for crypto investors and good to joined. most of new project informed this group to create their community due this TG community were very big.

Before I make use of the platform to find out new project that is on board,if the new project is real or not I must use my personal research to confirm before investing on a particular project. Since we came out from pandemic, I make use of the forum and my personal research to find out new project to invest that will make me earn a good profit from my investment.
There are many bounty campaign going on, that is still making some bounty hunter think if they are in the right project that will favour them at the end of the campaign just because of the delay of the project and slow of the new project. There are many new project which are not scam but real for investors to invest and make a good income from the investment.

Twitter isn't a safe place to get news about new projects, of I could recall well there are thousands of scam projects on Twitter with no intent of raising funds through IEO but luring twitter users to buy their tokens, be very careful with twitter crypto projects

Now getting information about an ICO is not difficult because on the internet and telegrams many groups provide information about the new ICO project but of course any information provided is not 100% reliable, so our carefulness is also needed in reading any information related to the ICO and That is why we really need advise from people who are experienced in analyzing an ICO, it is unethical if we immediately trust information about ICO without checking the truth about the ICO project from various sides.

for now I focus on trading, but when I was still investing in ICO (new project) I always looked for information about ICO at https://www.coinschedule.com (https://www.coinschedule.com) and now the link can't be opened anymore (when I tried to open it today), even though in my opinion the website is very good for finding information about ICO (new projects),
https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXUBNRCizhwEk3bTYRwTb97Z4TJrgRw7RnbXGYg7FCwEU/test.png
so does anyone know what happened to the website? did the website change its name or does it no longer exist? if you know about the information please help me, because I am curious and want to know about the website.

but apart from https://www.coinschedule.com (https://www.coinschedule.com), I also often search for information about new projects at https://icobench.com (https://icobench.com), because in my opinion the information provided by https://icobench.com (https://icobench.com) is also very complete and the appearance of the website is very attractive (user friendly).

There are sites that may assist you with picking a project yet you have to investigate their announcement thread and see what sort of reaction they are getting, add their social media performance of twitter

I check altcoins section on this forum to get updates on new projects which is very helpful. I also check icodrops for new project updates, and turn on their Twitter notifications. It's good to see people's reactions on new project social handles and threads, but some comments can be misleading. Some reviews from people's comments and by ico rating sites are paid, so when doing research it's unwise to take decisions solely based on such ratings.

New projects are always on the ICO or IEO list on websites like IcoHolder or this forum,
because there is a special altcoin thread here, so you can see if there are new projects or not, and don't forget,
before joining a new project you have to do an analyze first

Investing in old projects is indeed very good, it minimizes the risk of losing capital,
yes it can be emulated, but new projects can also provide more profit,
several new projects this year such as YFI, DIA and Sushi have experienced high increases, so look for new potential projects.

I usually have my sources of research and knowledge of influential people but I also maintain caution and look for what the meaning of the project and its proposal really mean. Even with all the research and details we are subject to failure because in addition to the quality of the project we need a significant amount of membership.

New projects are dangerous, I don't prefer to get into something before it is even delivered, I comprehend that there were individuals who made such a large amount of their benefits as of late gratitude to the new sort of projects and altcoins, there was additionally many individuals, in reality considerably more individuals, who lost their cash to that too and there is even a greater, many individuals whose cash is bolted and they are holding back to check whether they will benefit or if their cash is no more.

Analyze the team behind it. Look at social media. and most importantly the partner of the project, if they are able to partner at least with an exchange or a company, this can be used as an indicator that it is a good project.
but it must be remembered that you have to check the truth of the partner because so many are manipulating to gain investor confidence

Deeper research in accordance to any addition around the market, if the project is certain that it isn't just a pump and dump project
the chance is high in gaining good profits.

There are lots of copy project and you should sort it out before you place your money and start investing, it will allow you to avoid making
mistake and being victimized by scam developers.

if the project is already listed on the market of course it will be a consideration that I think is more on the market and token prices. but for new projects that have not been listed on the market, it will be very difficult. the orientation of the project is still limited to a description of the product and market. we don't know how the market interest and support from the community for a new project.

I primarily use this forum to actually see what users are asking and which projects are in the trends, which singature campaigns to other Hero members have.

Obviously then investigate each project.

As for listing websites, I still user ICOBench, but it does take a lot of research to spot the good ones.

There is always a risk to what we do.

It's truly difficult to follow every one of them. That is the reason we need to depend on certain assets. Also, there are numerous sources accessible in the market. In any case, the vast majority use I think coinmarketcaos recently listed tab. Whenre you can discover almsot each coin which listed on certain exchanges or delivered in market. It's not alright then you can go for icodrops, or cryptiodiffer or numerous wire bunch like crypto age or crypto expert and there's some more. Presently it's upto you.

I follow some big exchanges on their social media accounts or subscribe for a newsletter on their website. With this, I can get updates if there are new projects having an IEO with their exchange or I just check here in marketplace section in this forum.

It doesn't look great yet to see a possibly decent venture later on, a portion of the above like the site giving out new ICO projects we appear to realize it's obsolete and numerous individuals stay away from projects that hold ICOs or IEOs, let alone about DeFi even it would appear that it's going wiped out With time, simply hanging tight for a couple of tasks that have incredible potential later on with an enormous local area development.

In my opinion, it is difficult to determine with certainty a new project that will be a successful market. so, therefore, we have to take several steps to determine the success of a project, namely, we have to choose a project that has great potential, look at the manager/developer and his advisory team, find out what platform is being developed so that we can easily live it, see what% allocation is offered.

thank you for the list of ico websites that you have provided, because in my opinion it is very important and useful, but when viewed from my experience following an ico website like that it is a bit disappointing, because some of these websites only promote paid ico projects, so the website only says things positive about the ico project because it was paid. I think Bitcointalk is a better place to look for new projects

I find out about new projects the same way almost every other investors in the crypto space finds out the new ICO project which is trough the ICO listing website the problem however is that everybody get access to the same information and most of the projects that are listed on these websites are of low quality and as a result, so you have to comb through a lot of projects in your research before you can find the Golden ones that are worth investing with that said it is possible to find Amazing Project if they are recommendation or supported by previous successful projects

Coinlist and IDO.For now, both are what I observe and follow when there is a new project launch. regarding IDO you also have to choose a good one. don't get it wrong because there are also many IDOs who are scams. Currently, many people enjoy the new altcoin trend because of the increase after market listing. you will get huge profits even up to 10X the investment made. but nowadays more and more people are attracted it is getting more difficult
