@ognasty

question - I have one of these, and in looking at it, I do not see anything that denotes what year it was made. Is there a way to tell?

This picture explains it pretty well.

I figured it was binary around the edge, but your OP made me question it. Am I right in my image of mine below? I had always thought mine was a 2018. And if so, would that not make the OP one a 2017 not a 2018?

ok good.

so is the one you are auctioning here a 2017 as shown in the image or a 2018 as the op states?
If it is a 2017 as shown, I would be inclined to bid.

It is a 2018 per the OP..... OGMcNasty just thinks you should take his word for it as they are too lazy to post photos of the actual coin you'd be buying..... I'd be careful though.... his website was unable to fulfill a gold binary round order for a couple of us users so I'd want proof it's in his possession.

I hate to make assumptions when it could be one or the other that is wrong. And I do think photos should be of the actual coin. Proof of ownership should be necessary, regardless of trust or presence on the forums - my opinion. If it is a 2018, I have one and thus no need to bid.

It’s a 2018. It would be best if any bidders believe what I say or they’ll be surprised.  I reused the same image I’ve been using for several years because I enjoy giving anonymousminer something to irrationally whine about.  8)

I was not whining - simply asking as the ad stated 2018 yet the image did not match what I have in possession, which I believed to be a 2018 - mine was a 2018, it simply turned out that the image in the OP is of a 2017

What the hell does this mean as it makes no sense??
"It would be best if any bidders believe what I say or they’ll be surprised."

You're such a goober..... "I'm OGMcNasty and the rules don't apply to me.... believe me or else...."

The last people who believed you ended up losing their ass investing in your Nastyfans ponzi scheme seats that the SEC is looking into.....

Come to think of it.... you and the Rainbowsky/alamjob goober should get together.... hang out.... design crypto items together..... you guys deserve each other.

Ignore the lunatic. He wasn’t hugged enough as a child. Fear not, I will continue offering the best deals on this forum for precious metals to keep other makers honest with their prices no matter how much shit I take for it. 8)

anonymousminer, would you please shut it. Let the man have his auction.

You are the last person in this forum to be able to ask that with your previous behavior so GFY!!

....and to answer your question, NO!!

It sucks when a thread gets all spammy when you are trying to conduct business doesn't it?  This is what you have done to collectibles.... people have to make self-moderated threads because of you..... so how does it feel when all you want to do is bid on an item and you have to read through crap like this??

I was also being serious.... you and the OP should get together and hang out..... discuss how you are both the greatest..... maybe share a villa for a weekend and see what happens  :-*

I love that me offering a great deal on an awesome piece of silver is somehow grounds to be trolled by an idiot. It makes me feel much more important than I am to have everything I do be so controversial. I didn’t think I’d become infamous for being such an honest and innovative Bitcoiner, but here we are, me offering the best deals in the world on the highest quality precious metal coins available, and some people being irritated about it. Makes me truly happy. ;D

Everyone is getting their auctions done by Today except anonymousminer he has to wait for tomorrow and he reminds that 100 times a day. Mopar - how are you doing?  Hang in their bud.  ;D

Sorry I had to say this. I will not post anything except my bid.  :)

I was not trying to get any drama started here - just wanted to know if the coin being sold was different than the one I had and if the one being shown was actually a 2018 then what did I have.

I get it that the image is just a stock image and does not actually represent the item being sold exactly. You addressed that - still would be nice to just have those questions and answers without the drama sometimes.

I agree. I wasn’t scolding you with my response and I’m sorry you took it that way. Clearly anonymousminer is out of line with his posts on this thread, and users should take note of his behavior and be warned that when you deal with him, this is what you’re dealing with.

I’ll start another auction with a different year and price it below spot again just for you Mopar. When I use the same stock image you can share in a laugh with me knowing why I did it.

if possible share the image of the actual coin or what it looks like as well - that is always nice.

I don’t post actual pictures of these coins because I don’t take them out of the roll from the mint until they’re ready to be put in a capsule and shipped. Rest assured any of my auctions using stock photos like this are for brand new untouched coins straight from the mint. Maybe I will start pre-capsulating them for auctions, but I don’t want to assume my auctions will be successful, although with these prices it is probably a safe bet.

1 hour left! Good luck!

Love the coins TBH.... Hate the ponzi and the fact you consider yourself honest!  That's all, nothing more.

They deal with me because I am VERY honest AND VERY trustworthy.  I just speak the truth without a filter.  It has got me far in life because those who matter are NOT looking for yes men, they are looking for honesty and loyalty.... something you know nothing about.

You may get back to your auction now....

I think you’re a pussy who acts tough online and a jealous moron who doesn’t know what a Ponzi scheme is. Now that we’ve made our opinions about each other known there probably isn’t any reason for us to communicate. At this point you seem to me like an envious child desperately seeking my attention. If you disliked me, you’d hit the ignore button, not constantly try to link yourself to me with idiotic claims you don’t even understand.

Just needed to quote this one as you'll surely be on another cleanup mission deleting more posts.

I am not the one who avoids all public events because you know what would happen if you showed your face..... all the people who lost money on those SCAM seats of yours would be looking for blood.  LOL.  I am at most of them... please come on over and say hi.... we could go for a little walk there tough guy.... have a little chat.... teach you some manners!  You sir are a fool, a liar and an awful human being.  I can't wait until the SEC hauls your ass away for fraud.....

Put your money where your mouth is and let’s make this interesting. You keep making these claims. Put up or shut up.
