Title: Genetic Cloning
Post by: Dbolanle on October 13, 2020, 04:22:47 PM
Cloning of human beings was quite an intriguing stuff we used to see on TV until 1996 when Dolly the sheep became the first mammal to be cloned from an adult somatic cell, by the process of nuclear transfer.
Since then, further research has made genetic human cloning a very real prospect, prompting huge debate over whether man is going too far in trying to play God.

What’s your take on interfering with Mother Nature?
Personally, I'm open to the idea.

I am open to this idea as well if it happens in order to keep species away from extinction.
Especially, if it is considered to be used to people then I am against it. We are made different for a reason. Everyone has their own skills and abilities and if we are made identical then this is good for the society - we are going to be a same mass.
Otherwise, there is not any reason to clone.

Human cloning is yet to be performed as far I know bu definitely it is possible and with the current rapid increase in out technology will pave a way for it near future.

I don't find any reason why we shouldn't do and humans almost changed everything that God created so we can't still talk about the nature and stuffs, if it is possible then it will possible.

I don't see any interfering with Mother Nature in this. With the same success, one can also characterize artificial insemination, because it did not happen in a natural way. Or childbirth with the help of a cesarean section, because even here a person intervenes in the process.

On the other hand, there is always room for thought about how far one can go. For example, cloned organs are the best that you can offer your body for replacement because only they will be accepted by it with the maximum probability and it won't reject them.

Cloning has been a thing for years. Remember Dolly the sheep, that was the first successful cloning although the clone did not survive that long. I do like the idea of cloning but it is impractical on a grand scale, imagine having another member of the populace which means that another consumer of resources, contributor to pollution and occupation in space. I think it is evident that having a lot of populaton results in higher demand which could eventually lead to scarcity of resources. It is also worth mentioning that cloning will be payed by taxpayers money which is a waste of funds that could have been used for a more pragmatic endeavors.

The problem is that anything done by human hands that is not directed/lead by GOD is dangerous.
It's risky to trust things made by people under the power of sin/satan.
So, I will not recommend it if GOD doesn't direct and approve it.

I don't know much about human science but if genetic cloning is possible.. It would have happened before this year,.. All we see in movies about genetic cloning is fantasy.
