Title: How to remove the negative trust from the user who created the account for fraud
Post by: tumis on October 15, 2020, 10:19:00 AM
Can i somehow remove the negative trust from my account from a user who is only a bounty and fake user?

I am placing a screen of this user.

Project humancoin turned out to be a scam, as well as I and others have predicted. The user created the account only after but unfairly evaluated the users.

Is it possible to remove something like that ?

I think there should be some system that supports activities that help keep this community safe and at least that's how they fight the swindlers. Am I not right ?

Because in general I have nothing of my topics and entries about many scams.

I don't have any bounty money paid out (95%) . I don't have any advantages or rewards that I warned others. The only thing I have is a negative trust in the form of a response, because what remains for such a fraudster. Am I not right?
If we do nothing with the evil that we see, we will really contribute to that evil as well.  (I know that the easiest thing to do is to pass by and have peace of mind.)

Feedback isn't moderated and there is no way you can reove the tag other than asking the feedback sender to relove it. I know how it feels, I'm carrying a few such feedbacks. Anyway, as they are not DT member, you shouldn't be much worry.

The feedback left on your profile is under untrusted feedback and does not affect your trust score because the person who left you feedback is not part of the DT members. So you shouldn't worry about anything.
In fact the user in question has already been distrusted by 2 DT1 members so chance of him even getting on DT membership are very low

Trust can only be removed by the person who sent to you except for Admin (But admin doesn't want in any way to interfere with trust disputes because this is supposed to be a free forum). I personally have negatives from scammers on my trust page but I don't care about them as they mean nothing.

You are right that it doesn't mean anything.

But wouldn't it be better to make a simple selection of such accounts - nonames that disappear after they only achieve their goal?

I mean obvious cases like this one. But it wouldn't be better to clean up the forum where it's relatively simple and doesn't require much ?

You are right that it doesn't mean anything.

But...

It does mean something:  It means that you were on the right side of calling out a scammer.

Wear it as a badge of honour.

I just counted, and I only have (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=976210) 13 fake negative feedbacks, plus 4 fake inactive flags.  Damn it, I have been slacking!  Lauda has —hundreds?  thousands?  so very many (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=101872) fake negative feedbacks (some of which make me jealous of her (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282911.msg55407837#msg55407837)), plus 7 malicious fake inactive flags.  JollyGood, the DT who tagged the scammer who tagged you, has—eh, it looks like close to a hundred (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1016855) fake negative feedbacks, and 8 fake inactive flags.  You have only (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1773383) 1 fake negative feedback—and you have a very worrisome neutral?  Stop sigspamming, do something useful, and you will earn more fake feedbacks!

If you don’t get attacked by bad people, it means that you are not doing anything right!
