Dash

NEO
NEO is a Proof of Stake network that processes transactions at a pace of around 1000tx/sec. It takes about 15 seconds to get your transaction to confirm – due to this, NEO was dubbed as “Ethereum killer” by the community members.
Ethereum
Ethereum network, despite the issues of scalability and certain delays with network congestion, takes about 14 to 17 seconds for the transactions to go through. Ethereum blocks handle about 12 transactions per second.
Litecoin
Litecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies existing as an alternative to Bitcoin. The main point of LTC creation was to speed up the transaction process. Block generation usually takes no longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Maybe you need to research on doge coin also. It has some speed and fast to deliver. You can check it out too, dogecoin seem to fall in this level also. The processing speed is commendable, it looks like you might add it if you looking to add more to your list.

I can't say that I completely agree with all the coins listed as the fastest crypto coins, in particular DASH which doesn't seem to rise as fast as the others. Despite this, I do think these 5 coins if invested as long-term expected gratification these would do quite well.

In any way, even short-term gratification seems possible with Monero (XMR) which has been going pretty strong weeks prior to seeing the bTC bull-ish market trend, and doing rather well considering that most of the fiat is now being pushed and getting sucked by BTC's momentum.

I think the OP is talking about transaction speed when he's calling fast. But the coins mentioned are not the fastest ones. There are many coins that are much faster but are not as popular. For example, Nano is much faster and costs no transaction fees but they are not as popular as bitcoin and ethereum.
Though bitcoin has always been associated with complaining about the transaction time, at current moment, their transaction time are much less and fees are less too. Don't know if it's some upgrade or the network is just less congested.

Now there are much more projects whose speed is very high, but I still use Litecoin for transfers. Among late coins I can choose Avalanche project. Avalanche blockchain is really fast and it can competete with Ethereum and others  easily

Monero
Dash
NEO
Ethereum
Litecoin
I'd say BCH can be added in this list, since transaction time is not that big, its just most of services require a lot of confirmations to fully enroll funds

How about NANO Cryptocurrency? if we talked about a fast transaction.

This cryptocurrency using DAG system and their transaction without fee at all + zero confirmation, if we see the description about nano on Wikipedia. The transaction block will be found and got some confirmation around 0.2-1 second.

First time using this, kinda impressed with the transaction time.

I like NEO blockchain, they have lower cost and faster than Ethereum. Idk why, Ethereum has one key edge over NEO: (lots) more people use it. For Monero XMR and Dash I have not try to use their blockchain yet, I've only used Lite coin only once.

~snip~
The topic is about those coins which get faster confirmation not about price increasing. @Nalbo obviously he is taking about transaction speed. If you click on the link provided by him then you will realize it fully. I'm quoting it from the source he provide
Quote
Here is a list of cryptocurrencies that are known on the market and pride themselves on having the fastest networks.

OP haven't played any effort to create this topic. He just copied it from the site, posted it here and provided the link at the end of his post. The same thing he did at his previously created topic.
There are a lot of coin which gets instant confirmation. Like XRP, XLM, EOS ATOM etc. These coin also have good position in marketcap.

Its faster than all cryptocurrency that mentioned by the OP

In terms of fast transaction aside from Ethereum , XRP, XLM  and TRON is the next for me because I tried it many times, although I know there are other altcoinsa which is fast in terms of transaction speed. Ethereum is so fast if you put a higher gas amount as a transaction fee.

Many coins that have emerged since Bitcoin are very fast.

I think the question should have been posed a little differently here, specifically about the execution of the maximum number of transactions per second in different blockchains.

Well, the blockchain Minter, Tron are very fast.

With Eth 2.0 initial phase launching in November we have high hopes that the capacity of ethereum network will grow massively and we will finally see much faster and cheaper transactions, Ethereum is the most used blockchain network so it should also provide the basics like fast and cheap transactions to really dominate the market.

We have seen many projects claiming to have huge transaction capacity per second some even called themselve 'Ethereum Killer' but time has proven Ethereum is the king and will remain like that, it is just that market believes in Ethereum and it is perhaps the only adopted and massively used network till now.

Ripple (XRP)- Ripple processes over 1,500 transactions per second, which is almost seven times faster than international e-wallets like PayPal.
Stellar Lumens (XLM) - open-source platform has a transaction speed of 5 secs per transaction at extremely low costs

I'm sure there are plenty of projects with super fast block times.  Fujicoin I think is something like 20 seconds or so but that doesn't mean much of anything.  Its like when people talk about supy of a coin and smaller supy somehow should make a project worth more.  Why?  I wouldn't focus on conf times too much.  Bitcoin is doing quite fine the way it is :)

First I will commend your efforts, secondly I do not completely agree with you. Although Ethereum is one of my best coins but I won't fail to point out that, it is slow and coupled with its high fees, maybe the upcoming 2.0 upgrade will correct a lot of things, but till then, Ethereum transactions is slow. In my own opinion, Tron needs to be on that list and nowadays USDT withdrawal through TRC 20, of course on Tron blockchain is free and fast as well. BNB also needs to be on that list, its transaction fee is low and it is also fast as well. Other coins like XLM, XRP are also fast. I hardly trade the other coins like Dash and Neo, so I can't rightly say how fast the transactions are, but yet I still believe there are others that are very fast.

Is BCH that really fast? I don't think so.

Ethereum
This is one of my favorite altcoins but comparing to the speed of others. It's not that fast at all and it's proven when the network has been congested. There's no more debate to its quickness when it comes to the confirmation of transactions.

How about TRON though? Not shilling for them but transactions are quick as far as I know. I'm not really sure about those privacy coins, I think this is what most of the altcoins selling point though, you gonna love them, but the questions remains, it their blockchain really secure? How many confirmations times are needed as compare to bitcoin?

The list that you put is the coins that I think has a long delivery time compared to xlm, xrp, and trx. ICYMI, the fastest cryptocurrency that I know is Appolo (APL) (https://aplfintech.com/apollo-currency/) because it only takes 2 seconds to make a confirmed transaction.

Your trying to said their time of confirmation of transaction , Im using Ripple for transaction because it is very fast only seconds and I can see my coins to my wallet or where ever I want to send it and the fees is very low. Ethereum for me is slower than the other crypto coins because it's takes minutes before it's confirmed but it's still good but I prepare the XRP in transaction the others.

What about Binance Coin and Tron? In the future, Ethereum will be the fastest crypto coin. Tron transaction is fast as also low transaction cost. Privacy is the high priority to crypto investors, only Bitcoin and monero can give this opportunity. I think fast isn't enough to invest, cost, privacy and security can make a good coin. More high TPS coins already exist but investors haven't supported them yet.

When it comes to transaction speed and comes with lower fees at the same time, here are the coins I use
  • Xrp
  • Dogecoin
  • Trx

There are wallets that have more confirmations in litecoin that making the speed a little bit slow. And Ive never tried monero yet, though many were amazed with monero,  apart from being a privacy coin transaction is ubdeniably faster than the others.

Ethereum shouldn't be in any list of fast transaction coins. In fact, it's becoming slower in speed and higher in fee. Other coins in this list are also outdated. In terms of speed, there are a lot of faster coins than this list, such as EOS, XRP or ADA. Even a shitcoin like TRON also has an impressive speed.

I agree with EOS and XRP and to add DOGE. Based on my experience, they even incur very cheap transaction fees. I can't say about ADA as I don't have first-hand experience with this alt. For the list, I believe XRP, DOGE, and EOS should be included. Maybe if we can get some sort of table which will give more details with respect to approx. transaction fee (in USD, it varies from one platform to another but just the approx so we can get the idea) and the duration of tx to go thru. That would be great to see!

I am very much surprised to see your list and advice you to make more research about it. There are other projects that are way faster and cheaper than these ones that you have mentioned on the list. I think ETH and LTC should not be on that list and TRON, XLM, XRP, EOS are some blockchain that is well known for their super-fast transactions. Doge also has a faster transaction rate.

I agree that the 5 crypto coins mentioned in the opening post have fast transactions, but for Ethereum the transaction fees
are expensive nowadays. So I rarely use Ethereum, maybe for Ethereum it can be replaced by Dogecoin or Tron which also
has fast transactions. Both Dogecoin and Tron not only have fast transactions, they have relatively cheap transaction fees
as well.

Title: Re: 5 fastest crypto coins

I think the OP is talking about transaction speed when he's calling fast. But the coins mentioned are not the fastest ones. There are many coins that are much faster but are not as popular. For example, Nano is much faster and costs no transaction fees but they are not as popular as bitcoin and ethereum.
Though bitcoin has always been associated with complaining about the transaction time, at current moment, their transaction time are much less and fees are less too. Don't know if it's some upgrade or the network is just less congested.

Agree, those coins mentioned by OP move trough out their blockchains  like turtles in comparison with such cheetahs like Stellar ( claimed 1000 tps and it's closed to estimated), Tron (claimed 2000 tps, estimated 1500 tps) and some others. When I need my funds to move fast from one exchange to other I usually use XLM brcause of speed and low fee.

Dogecoin is so good when it comes to transaction speed and network confirmation fees but the only problem I feel with dogecoin is that when you buy and sell them you lose much more value than you would lose in other coins.

I give you an example: Suppose we buy 10k doge with market price @21 satoshi and then after 2 days you went to sell them and you sell them at @20 satoshi which is obvious because buy and sell orders have a minimum 1 satoshi variance.

You lost basically like 5% value just by selling and buying them so that is one problem with dogecoin. But if you take XRP/TRX you won't lose as much because their value is much higher and a few satishi variance doesn't matter at all.

I don't think Ethereum is on the list. Ethereum has been a platform for months with problems with transactions. so I thought OP should correct it. there are actually many platforms that have faster speeds than the coins on the list, such as Tron, Cardano or EOS.

From this list, I only use Ethereum and Litecoin, as I am very conservative in the choice of cryptocurrencies.  In the past few months, I have been using Litecoin mainly, as now transactions there are faster and the fees are very cheap.

It is possible to make a lot of profit by holding an ethereum currency like bitcoin very safe and usable everywhere.

Honestly you have a boring lists of coins that aren't actually that fast like some other altcoins out there, you are talking about per second transaction right? Are you sure about that because Ethereum isn't as fast as many coins , here is my list

1. EOS
2. Futurepia
3. Ripple
4. Apollo
5. Tron

Ethereum and Tron both have been fastest Coins from all those which I've used. I don't know why you think ethereum is not fast. but my ethereum transactions got confirmed in seconds maximum 30 seconds. it all depends on the GAS and GWEI. if you use right amount of GAS your transaction will confirm faster.
and tron is the 2nd Coin I really like in term of Fast Transaction. i am very new in Tron. I recently started using it thanks to a Defi project powered by Tron. and I found out that Tron has very fast and smooth transaction speed.
And BTW. Tron is not a Shitcoin. you are wrong.

XLM is an old coin that some investors have left behind, I haven't heard of the latest developments about XLM,
if for transaction speed I recommend Minter (BIP) rather than XLM.
Minter is one of the fastest coins and transaction fees are cheap, even Minter Holders can do Staking easily, this is a positive value for Minter than other coins.

I am not sure about Idena, Idena is quite famous for his wallet validators so far,

I totally agreed to your sentiments that these 5 cryptos that you have listed are the best and fastest crypto. I just wanted to emphasize ethereum and litecoin mostly knowing how good these two tokens. And this listed 5 cryptos even they are said to be old tokens they still manage to exists for so many years and still counting that makes them the best and fastest.

Cause it takes few time to get transactions done and Deduct very small fee than ether.so doge coin deserves a place in your chart.and i notice people are taking about nano, i haven't tried yet but after know about the facilities of nano, i would like to try.

talking about transaction speed, you also need to include such as Doge, XLM, & TRX. I often use TRON for transactions and shipping costs are also very cheap.

Wasn't sure of Binance coin as I never used it much apart from trading fees so I was not sure but thanks for the information and yeah Tron is one excellent coin when it comes to low volume transactions that require fast confirmations. As a gambler often I play with Tron to save transaction fees and avoid waiting for hours to get the coins confirmed. I don't think any casinos accept Binance coin yet but will keep in mind and it is always good to have more variety.

This is a old list. Now there are many coin with more and faster transaction speed like XRP and TRX. Not even them but all the new coins coming in the market with their own blockchain have pretty fast transaction speed.
Problem with XRP is that you have to keep a minimum 20 balance in the address to keep it active and I was not aware about this so I withdrew my money in exodus and now 20 XRP are blocked there for literally no reason which I cannot send.

I prefer coins that are in the order so it can be taken btc, eth, xrp, bch, link, because stable coins do not count.
Everyone may have their own views and if you say anything about ROI since release then those 5 coins are also worth considering.
unless you make a specific reason about it.

If there’s no traffic you can depend on that coin but sometimes if there’s a huge traffic in the market no matter how fast that coin is, you still have to wait to confirm your transactions. A faster way to transact is to maximize the fees so you don’t need to wait any longer, and yes ETH platform still running good despite of all those criticism with the fees.

For the coin with the fastest transaction is IDNA, you won't know if you haven't tried how fast these coins are sent from one wallet to another.
I have used IDNA several times for transactions and it only took me less than 10 seconds.
The fees charged by the network are very small, ranging from only 0.004 USD

Maybe the OP forget about tron because in my opinion the fastest cryptocurrency is tron
Its faster than all cryptocurrency that mentioned by the OP
yup! I agree. tron should be on the list written by the OP.
indeed, to make transactions, I really prefer to use Tron besides the fastest coins, another reason is that the gas fee is quite cheap. and for the second coin choice I chose ethereum, the gas fee is quite expensive but ethereum is one of the fastest coins to make transactions.

I have never used other coins for transactions other than those two coins.

EOS must be added to this list too. It has a speed of 3000 transactions per second.

Pretty decent choice and what i say OP is listed some established cryptocurrencies those has appealed among the users. Personally i'm fan of NEO however here I would like to draw your consideration over on ICX, ARK. If you're going to buy anyways with a certain allocation then you should think about ICX, ARK on your bags.

There are a dozen coins that are faster in transaction but what happens when there are more users transacting simultaneously especially millions of transactions, either the transaction charges will go higher or the delay time for confirmation will be higher and the coins you mentioned have not tested their limits and for a long time ETH was in that column and when they are tested to the limits we all know what happened to the transaction charges and i am expecting the same with the rest of the coins as well.

For example, I use the TRON coin for my transactions.
https://www.tronlink.org/ is very convenient and allows you to make up to 15 transactions per day for free and withdrawal from the exchange costs 1 TRON.
The transactions are very fast and I have never been disappointed.
Excellent compatibility with ledger wallet.

Why doesn't anyone mention SOLANA and LAMDEN.
Those are the two fastest trading cryptocurrencies I have ever experienced. Time to send money and receive money is almost instant.
Solana allows transaction speed to reach 65000TPS.
Lamden has a transaction rate per core of 4000TPS, if launching the full number of cores the speed can reach 100,000TPS.
In addition to the aforementioned two currencies, we have EOS, XLM, XRP and TRX which also offer high speed.

There are lots of fast altcoins, but do they cost a fortune? I guess that's the problem. Some altcoins can make fast transactions if we are able to pay high fees, one of which is ethereum. For me, currently the fastest is BNB because it has cheap shipping costs

i always like to use ether for transactions, no matter how long time it takes or the fee it Deduct during transactions. I recently i love using doge coin. Cause it takes few time to get transactions done and Deduct very small fee than ether.so doge coin deserves a place in your chart.and i notice people are taking about nano, i haven't tried yet but after know about the facilities of nano, i would like to try.

If transactions are means in this content, then other tokens can be called the fastest ones. Here, Nano, NEM, Neo Often called Chinese Ethereum can be named. Besides, TRON and Eos transactions are very fast and convenient. You can almost always find these alts in exchanges.

Any cryptocurrency can be extremely fast if network load/congestion is low. For once, Ethereum used to be among the fastest cryptocurrencies in the world with transaction settlement times of 15 seconds. Now that the Blockchain is heavily loaded with many transactions (as a result of increased adoption in the mainstream world), Ethereum is becoming extremely slow like Bitcoin is today. Luckily, we have different consensus algorithms and network designs which allow greater transaction capacity.

If the OP is on the hunt for the fastest crypto coins in the world, then my top 5 recommendations would be: Nano, ARK, Bitshares, Thunder Token, and Stellar. Not only these coins' transactions settle within seconds, they're also decentralized with ridiculously low fees. What they're missing is mainstream adoption, as people are still focused on the big cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. The community needs to spread the word out there about the aforementioned crypto projects in order to increase their mainstream adoption. While technically these coins are superior than Bitcoin and Ethereum, they certainly have a lower level of security than their counterparts. It's this reason why so many have chosen Bitcoin and Ethereum for all of their day-to-day transactions (instead of faster cryptocurrencies with dirt-cheap fees).

Nonetheless, you'd need to balance between convenience and the security/reliability of your crypto funds. For quick and cheap money transfers around the world, you'd want to rely on the fastest cryptocurrencies available on the market today. But for a long-term store of value, you'd choose Bitcoin on top of anything else due to its rock-solid security and reliability. It all depends on your tastes/preferences more than anything else. As much as I admire blazing-fast transactions, you won't get the same level of security as Bitcoin or Ethereum. But who knows? As Blockchain technology improves, crypto projects might be able to balance between decentralization and scalability. If that happens, there won't be any reason to switch from altcoins to Bitcoin altogether. Just my thoughts ;D

For the coin with the fastest transaction is IDNA, you won't know if you haven't tried how fast these coins are sent from one wallet to another.
I have used IDNA several times for transactions and it only took me less than 10 seconds.
The fees charged by the network are very small, ranging from only 0.004 USD

that's very quick if compare to another coins, i know idena now starting famous in many cryptocurrency community. beside speed , i heard idena will have smart contract platform like ethereum. wit complete feature from speed , low fee and smart contract creation idena will be great coin and be serious competitors for existing coins like ethereum , eos and other.

In 2018 I only knew Dash, Nano, monero and Neo with coins that had super fast transaction speeds. but actually many are faster than that, because more and more coins are popping up, for example Idna, Ark, Icx if you compare the transaction speed then they could be the winner.

I like Tron for his low cost of transaction not for the speed, the speed of ethereum is subjective and transaction fee plays a big role on the speed, the higher the transaction fee the faster the speed, high number of confirmation. Have never been interested in EOS, XRP and ADA, I also feel the current state of market imay not be rewarding for those old coins. Monero, Zcash, Komodo need the speed of transaction to protect the identity of the user.

Basically, any cryptocurrency has blazing-fast speeds if the network is not congested. For once, Ethereum used to be one of the fastest cryptocurrencies in the world. But after mainstream adoption grew, its speeds were never the same. Of course, some cryptocurrencies have more efficient consensus algorithms than others. My guess is that the fastest cryptocurrencies are those using "DAGs" as their backbone. Coins like Nano, IOTA, Hashgraph, and Constellation could be considered the 5 fastest crypto coins right now due to their use of the "DAG" algorithm. DAG-based cryptocurrencies have fees that are ridiculously low (sometimes even free), while transactions settle almost instantly on the network. Yet, the aforementioned cryptocurrencies sometimes sacrifice security/decentralization on top of performance. Which is why I believe that depending on your needs, will be the type of cryptocurrency to use in the mainstream world.

Nonetheless, most people will continue to support cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum even if they struggle with high fees and slow transaction confirmation times. This is largely because decentralization and censorship resistance is what matters above all else. The fastest cryptocurrencies in the world might survive for a long time, but their level of adoption will never surpass that of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ultimately, people will decide which cryptocurrencies to use from the other depending on their needs. Bitcoin works great as a store of value, but it's terrible as digital cash. The contrary happens with Ethereum. At least, crypto will be here to stay for a very long time. Just my opinion :)

it will only matter if you have millions to keep. if you have just less than 20k, it will not count as investment. a small growth of a coin which you have millions of it will be a big profit already. its the only way to make more profit. you can just calculate, having a million and doge price will climb to $0.01. being fast is just what makes it good to trade and cheap fees.

The dash is very good when we talk about the transactions fees but in term of speed i dont think dash should be in this list
The fastest dash transaction take al least 6 minutes to be confirmed 6/6
At least doge is faster than dash

I like doges and I like trons, they are fast and cheap, and you can do a lot of stuff with these two. It's the thing with dash, it's older than trons for example, but tron made huge progress in the past years, with so many promotions, apps... and people paid attention, unlike dash that's still just dash! I didn't see any interesting news about dash. Now I am not saying there's nothing new with dash, but I simply don't see it!
Some new projects are making good progress, and they are outshining old ones! Some old projects are holding good and have nice updates, while some sleep, and they relay on old fame, that's not good!

Maybe you need to research on doge coin also. It has some speed and fast to deliver. You can check it out too, dogecoin seem to fall in this level also. The processing speed is commendable, it looks like you might add it if you looking to add more to your list.

I agree with you, because myself always use Dogecoin to make transaction and until now I have never had a problem using Dogecoin as a transaction, besides that transaction using Dogecoin are also very fast and of course with a very cheap fee, so I think people should start to consider and try to using Dogecoin for transaction.

This is one of the oldest coins that I used also for transfer purposes.
And I believe, it should be in the list. Many traders also used it for this specific purpose because there are so many exchanges that are also having doge in their trading pair.
Cheap and fast. Though I have seen EOS and XRP can also qualify this feature but some exchanges are not listing these 2 alts.
And the last time I've checked Kucoin, XRP's deposit and withdrawal are still disabled.

Monero
Monero XMR is one of the popular privacy-centered cryptocurrencies. The project is fully community-driven and focuses on decentralization and financial freedom. XMR transactions are quite fast – just like Dash, it takes around 2 minutes to get a confirmation.
Dash
Dash is a cryptocurrency that has been around for a while. The average transaction time for a DASH coin is around 2 minutes. Dash has the block size of 2 MB and can process up to 56 transactions per second.

ETH 2.0 that is coming soon will be if not the best, but one of the best!

The purpose for the development of Eth 2.0 might be misconstrued if enough information is sorted but I thinks it is more for security, larger number of transaction, reduce energy consumption and Defi (along the proof of stake). We are not likely to see the immediate effect after launch but will improve as time passes on the 3 phases of release.

2 minute for confirmation isn't fast. with TRX you don't have to wait 10 seconds to see your coins reflected in your wallet.

Well, 2 minutes is fast compared to Bitcoin's 10 minute block time. Basically, any cryptocurrency is faster than Bitcoin as they lack mainstream adoption. Among the fastest cryptocurrencies available, we've got TRON, IOTA, NANO, XRP, and Stellar. Transactions confirm in seconds, while fees remain ridiculously low. For instance, you can interact with smart contracts on the TRX blockchain without the need to pay exorbitant fees. Transactions are basically free (depending on the situation) within the TRX blockchain. Coins like IOTA and NANO are near-instant with a fee-less design backed into the protocol. What matters is not speed/ease of use, but rather security/reliability on top of everything else. So far, the aforementioned cryptocurrencies have a lower degree of security than traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Fast blockchain networks often sacrifice decentralization, putting user's funds at risk. Consider what happened with IOTA some time ago, when the network came to a halt. The same situation happened with Stellar. In contrast, Bitcoin has been operating without interruptions since its inception. It's no wonder why it's still the #1 cryptocurrency in the world (despite its high fees and slow transaction confirmation times).

Nonetheless, time will tell us whenever cryptocurrencies will be able to retain their speed/performance according to mainstream adoption. The more people join the crypto/Blockchain revolution, the more the network load will be on various cryptocurrency projects. Developers are going to need to rely on new solutions in order to maintain blockchain networks scalable for the whole wide world to enjoy. Otherwise, they'll become clogged until speeds decline and fees rise all the way to the moon. Just my opinion :)

Just because some coins are doing better than bitcoin when transaction speed are brought up doesn't mean they're doing great. I see people posting coins that take upto 2 minutes forgetting that most digital money payment providers execute same transaction in fraction of seconds. The like of master and Visa cards process millions of transaction in seconds until we're able to achieve that in the industry we're yet to be serious.
No one is even thinking of rating Bitcoins below these altcoins but you cannot deny that the transaction speed in Bitcoins take at least 10 minutes on average unless you are lucky and sometimes when 3 confirmations are required it takes 15-20 minutes.

Payment platforms are a completely different thing you mentioned and cards payments too. You want to gamble for instance then you have to wait for 20 minutes to deposit and play but if you have some of these above coins mentioned by so many people then you can deposit within minutes and start playing. Also the withdrawal fees and transaction fees is lower for these coins.

Visa cards are fast but you cannot give your card details to a online gambling site, right? Similarly at countless occasions crypto payments are 100x better and easier than cards and Paypal.

I also believe faster transaction confirmation of a cryptocurrency doesnt qualify the any coin competent and if thats not the issue all altcoin with fast transaction confirmation will have dethrone Bitcoin but this topic was all about fast confirmation coins.

The like of master and Visa cards process millions of transaction in seconds until we're able to achieve that in the industry we're yet to be serious.
Understand this, Bitcoin was not created to be Visa/Mastercard competitor cause it was clearly a outstanding innovation and it having 15-30 minutes confirmation doesnt mean the community are not serious. However, the government negative stance towards Bitcoin was among whats hindering it upgrade and since things are changing positively we will see more project excluding lightning that will come up with new idea to fast Bitcoin transactions confirmation.

Well, I think that some coins are also fast:
- XRP is also fast, but I don't know how fast it is compared to the five lists above. XRP processes more than 1,500 transactions /second.
- EOS (EOS) processes 3,000 transactions / second.

ETH is acceptable in my opinion and I had been observing it that the ETH network even if there transactions being made but it is manageable by the network. Other than that I believe is EOS and XRP network. Both of these crypto are fast. Other fast crytpo I think would be those unknown coins which has only few transaction recorded or made in a certain period of time but we do not like most of those coins and are considered by others as worthless or shitcoins.

I agree with EOS and XRP as I have been using them lately. Aside from the faster network they have, they have very cheap transfer fees and can be found in most top exchanges. This is their advantage, as they can be found in most medium-big exchanges, you will have no problem looking for their trading pair. If I may add also, doge is in my list.

I do not usually need instant confirmations but I do not want to wait hours either so my choice is either ETH or LTC but because the former being expensive now I usually try and make most of my transactions in LTC and the price isn't doing any harms either.

I have used coins like XRP, TRX, DOGE so I know there are better and faster coins but I still prefer LTC for now and the problem also is that not all the websites accept these new coins like if I am shopping at bitrefill I cannot spend TRX or XRP while LTC is accepted so it also depends on the merchant I am spending my coins at because no matter how fast a coin is, it has to get accepted on some merchants for us to spend.

Both XRP and EOS are extremely fast because of their centralized network design. You'd either sacrifice decentralization for speed and low costs or all the other way around. There's no way to obtain complete decentralization while achieving unparalleled speeds and dirt cheap fees at the same time. Basically, any cryptocurrency with low mainstream adoption will have faster speeds and lower fees than traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. It all depends on current network load at the time the transaction is placed on the Blockchain.

For those on the hunt for the fastest cryptocurrencies in the world today, I'd recommend DAG-based cryptocurrencies such as NANO, IOTA, Constellation, and Hedera Hashgraph. They're even faster than XRP or Stellar, as transactions confirm almost instantaneously. Most of the aforementioned DAG-based cryptocurrencies have no fees, making them extremely cost-effective for the end user. The main issue though, is security. IOTA was a victim of network halts some time ago. Until DAG-based cryptocurrencies become resilient and robust enough for serious use, it's recommended to only use them for micropayments. For large transactions, Bitcoin proves to be the winner. In the end, it's all a matter of a person's tastes/preferences over one type of cryptocurrency to the other. The hunt for the fastest cryptocurrency in the world may never end as Blockchain networks improve over time. As long as you choose coins with active development and innovation, you can remain confident that your investment will last forever. Just my thoughts ;D

There is no definitive way to measure speed. There is transactions per second and there is confirmation speed. ETH might be considered fast but it can't handle nearly as many transactions per second as Tron. It can also get congested which will increase the time it takes to get confirmed if you don't use a high enough fee.

Tron blockchain is faster than others blockchain, Tron transaction cost is also low. Binance coins are also fast and low cost. A new coin can confirm the transaction faster. Actually we need blockchain transaction fast because if we can tolerate Bitcoin transaction time and cost, then we can accept any time to complete transaction.
Now there are so many altcoins that have transaction speeds and low fees, this is because of the Lightning Network technology, one of the altcoins that use the Lightning Network is Litecoin.
As for Tron, I am not too interested, maybe because Justin Sun did too much Fomo, so to this day I am not really interested in Tron.

Lite coin and dash is the best altcoin for transaction. The comunity also very good. Those coin will never die as long as crypto is still a live. Lite coin is the second coin created in the crypto world. And dash was the dark coin 2.0 and the first stake coin created. Monero was good for the anonymouse feature but it is also very hard to use for average people ( this is what makes monero hard to grow )

There are numerous coins that are a lot quicker however are not as mainstream. For instance, Nano is a lot quicker and costs no exchange charges except for they are not as famous as bitcoin and Ethereum. Eth 2.0 introductory stage dispatching in November we have high expectations that the limit of Ethereum organization will develop enormously and we will at last observe a lot quicker and less expensive exchanges

Transaction speed depends on fee. If the custom fee is low, the transaction confirmation process is also slow. If the custom fee is high, the transaction confirmation process is also very fast. Dogecoin, Tron, BNB are also coins with a very fast confirmation process.

If you consider ETH to be an altcoin that has speed in transactions, I think you are wrong because there are other altcoins that are faster in making transactions, for example ripple, when compared to ethereum, ripple has a better speed than ethereum because ripple has much more unique characteristics because its existence only focuses on payment industri namely for international payments transfer instruments and since its establishment, ripple is only devoted to the issues of the financial industry, ripple has the privilege of having a much faster transaction time than ethereum and other altcoins for one transaction internationally, ripple only takes a few seconds to complete.

Of the 5 crypto coins that you mentioned, Dash is the fastest IMO...

Monero
Dash
NEO
Ethereum
Litecoin
I'd say BCH can be added in this list, since transaction time is not that big, its just most of services require a lot of confirmations to fully enroll funds
agree, it is not wrong to put BCH on the list because the processing of BCH transactions is very fast. other than that BCH fees are very cheap, BCH is almost perfect IMO.

As for Tron, I am not too interested, maybe because Justin Sun did too much Fomo, so to this day I am not really interested in Tron.

Not every altcoin makes use of the Lightning Network. There are many altcoins which have on-chain scalability via various means (like raising the block size, or changing its consensus algorithm). What matters is decentralization on top of everything else. While Bitcoin is often slow and expensive to use at times, it's the most decentralized cryptocurrency on the planet. Altcoins have lesser fees and faster speeds, but their level of security/reliability is not as good as Bitcoin's. It's no wonder why many people still support Bitcoin above many other altcoins on the market today.

As I've said before, the fastest cryptocurrencies are those which make use of a DAG (Directed Acrylic Graph). Coins like Constellation, Hedera Hashgraph, NANO, and IOTA are considered to be the fastest cryptocurrencies in the world today. XRP and Stellar are also fast, as well as, DPoS-based cryptocurrencies like TRON, ARK, and EOS. But these last ones aren't comparable as their DAG-based counterparts. I believe that DAG-based cryptocurrencies will be heavily used in the mainstream world for micropayments, while traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum will be used as a sort of long-term investment (mainly a store of value). People will have the choice to select from one crypto to another when making cross-border payments in the mainstream world. That's the beauty of the decentralized and open source nature of crypto. Time will tell us whenever fast cryptocurrencies (like the ones previously mentioned here), will outmatch VISA and MasterCard's TPS or not. Everything will depend on how far developers are willing to go in terms of scaling Blockchain technology towards new heights. Just my thoughts ;D

As for ETH at the moment its speed and transaction fees are too great so people avoid using ETH to transfer their funds.

Be sure to pay attention to the Avalanche project with the AVA token. The network is really very fast, functional, convenient. Now a "bridge" is being built between the Ether of the blockchain and the Ava blockchain, in the future, it is possible to transfer many smart contracts to work in the Avalanche network

Maybe you need to research on doge coin also. It has some speed and fast to deliver. You can check it out too, dogecoin seem to fall in this level also. The processing speed is commendable, it looks like you might add it if you looking to add more to your list.

Dogecoin is one of my favorite coins for trading. Apart from the low cost, the transaction process is also fast and besides that the price is quite stable in recent times. Dogecoin is traded on almost all exchangers and this makes it easier for us to withdraw and deposit so maybe this is one of the factors why Doge is a favorite of many people

You are right, TRX transaction speed is faster than ETH, TRX Network is never as congested as ETH so TX fee are never as high as ETH.  The DEFi trend is one of the causes of soaring transaction fee on the ETH network, the cause is when UNISWAP launched a mass Airdrop.

I am new in the cryptocurrency and has loving the replies of others. Base on my experience after making the first transaction of which I was using was the XRP and the BCH. They too had fast network but I will not going to know unless if could try also using other network like EOS and ETH. Probably the next time around that I will going to make transactions, definitely I would like to try the ETH for they had gone upgrade to which it made interest on how fast the eth network will it be.

For me it is not about fastest coin, it is potential coins where it has high market capitalization and high volume. That's why I do not prefer to make investment with shitcoins with low market capitalization. If you want to lose all of your money in instant way then buy shitcoins but not then you must avoid and forget it.

I still want to make investment with cryptocurrencies that are belong with the top 20 when it comes to market capitalization because these are the coins that have high volume where you can ensure that there are a lot of investors that are interested in that kind of coins. Do not think quick rich in this type of market because having that kind of mentality is so dangerous and it is better if we will think long term where we can trade without experiencing huge losses.

Ethereum is a good coin but at the moment it is not suitable for money transfer. Along with Ethereum's price increase so transaction fees also increase, I think doge is the best choice for sending money at the moment.

Transaction process is one of the most important features that a certain currency should maintain as the users will surely to look for a currency that will give them a good service like they can receive their money in just a minute or seconds if possible.

I've been in crypto industry for several years already but I was unable to compare the speed of the popular currencies and who among of them has the least transaction time to confirm. I can see that NEO and Ethereum network is in the lead which confirms that transactions in just few seconds only but I wonder if this time will change once there are many users who are using the said currency or there are plenty of transactions that were being processed.

One that you didn’t mention here is Nano, I have heard that Nano is the fastest among them and the transaction process takes about 15 seconds and less. But I have not used most of the cryptocurrencies that you have listed here, and not even the Nano that I have mentioned, except Ethereum. And when I used Ethereum for a transaction it was really quick and took just few seconds for it to be confirmed. And the other cryptocurrency I am using is Bitcoin, so I can only say that Ethereum is faster than Bitcoin when it comes to transaction.

But, there are lots of cool features you can find in your wallet that makes Bitcoin fast too, like there are some wallets that attempts to spend bitcoins while they have not been verified and it works.

BTC, ETH, ADA are among the fastest coins. These coins grow well after a certain period of time and give good profit to the holders. It is expected that the price of Bitcoin will be 20,000 / 25,000 this year. It seemed to me looking at the market and various news. Are you sure you understood the topic? The coins you mentioned are far from fastest coins, you even included BTC which right now is among the slowest with regards speed of transaction. You didn't include TRX, NEO, XLM (just to mention a few from personal experience ) which are very fast comparatively. ETH you included isn't fast enough , even though we are hoping soon speed of transaction will increase for ETH with the ongoing developments. I think the slow speed of some transaction for some coins is influenced by number of users onchain.

After the Ethereum blockchain transaction problem, I'm using Tron blockchain. Tron blockchain is fast enough even without any transaction cost. Monero gold is good and faster, but of some limitations, it can't beat Bitcoin. Ethereum 2.0 is already launched which must be faster and at a low cost. Tron USDT transaction cost is zero, even from exchange to exchange.

In 5 fastest coins as you gave, the increasement price will be coming but not now, because if see on the weekly chart of them, such as Neo, it has just overcome a strong resistance that has been in existance for a long time and coming back to test it, and if compare the current price with its old peaks, it's still quite long to reach (about 800%). So, in my opinion, there are still many chances with these coins in next time.

Litecoin
XRP
XLM

Litecoin ain't fast bro, I remember it took like 25 minutes for my deposit to get credited some weeks ago so it must not be very fast or maybe that day the blockchain was crowded, maybe stake was slow to add my deposit can be another reason.

In my opinion not only the top 20 altcoins have fast transactions, but most altcoins do have fast transactions. Maybe only
a matter of minutes the transaction is complete, maybe you are right about the supply of coins affecting the transaction speed.
But it's better if we choose coins for transactions, don't focus on speed alone, but must have a cheap fee too. TRX is my favorite
coin that has fast transactions and low fees, I always use TRX to transfer my funds. Apart from TRX that I recommend as an

Neo, and Monero are examples, both of which have very good speeds and also have the advantages of technology, while TRON has the advantage of being quite fast, the fees are also quite low.

The only coin that I have ever used and is very fast is DOGE,
for some reason I feel happy using DOGE as a means of payment, because the fees are very little,
and it makes traders like this, so DOGE is still very active.

I think all the altcoins that are currently in the top 20 have very fast transaction networks such as TRX, XRP, XLM, EOS and BNB, maybe I think the supply of a coin can also have an important influence to become a fast coin.
Here are some fastest coins:
3• Ethereum

Especially Ethereum, that is top2 altcoin, and its 15-25 transactions per second is the fast one :)
I think Ethereum is one of the slowest popular blockchains. Take a look on the article What Is The Fastest Blockchain And Why? Analysis of 43 Blockchains (https://alephzero.org/blog/what-is-the-fastest-blockchain-and-why-analysis-of-43-blockchains/). Turns out that Ethereum is one of the slowest. Other side of the coin is, the fastest one is not the most popular. So the ideal an fastest ones I think are Tron and Eos.

if it is related to transaction speed then you can add TRX. even the cost is cheap. I don't know the speed details but I like TRX because it is cheap and fast compared to ETH nowadays it is very expensive and the transactions are also slow.

It must be acknowledged that the information provided by them is very important. They have provided information by sorting out many verifications. But I think the XRP also needs a presence there. The XRP is equal claimant.

My top crypto coins would be the following and I'm sure they have a good future ahead because the majority of them are I'm using for extra online income,  just saw the prices today at coinmarketcap, and it's very sad to say BTC and altcoins suddenly drop
but still, my hall of fame and undefeatable coin for me is BITCOIN

1 Ethereum (Best altcoin right now)
2 NEXO  - I have seen a nice review about there lending, and  they are an established company
3 BAT     - using this and having little income through viewing an advertisement
4 BNB    -  I'm using this coin for trading
5 Horizen- they have free and faucet and unlimited income thru referrals

I think TRX is still the fastest in my opinion. i often use TRX even low cost. it looks like you have to enter TRX into the list because TRX has been tested and provides concrete evidence in every transaction

Tron (TRX) is probably the fastest cryptocurrency in existence. Based on my previous experience, a transaction took an average of 3 seconds to settle on the Blockchain. That's almost instantaneous compared to other cryptocurrencies' transaction confirmation times. I like the fact that Tron's fees are ridiculously low (unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum), making it practical for "De-Fi".

While Tron is extremely fast, it still has some issues surrounding it. For instance, the Blockchain network is centralized adding the risk of a single point of failure. It is said that Justin Sun is directly tied to the project with several SRs (Super Representatives) that are under his control. As of now, Binance has the largest stake of TRX on the Blockchain. It shows us the level of centralization inherent in the project. This is what you get when you sacrifice decentralization for speed and low costs. At least, there are a plethora of cryptocurrencies to choose from the market. People have the option to choose another coin if they don't find Tron suitable for their needs. Basically any cryptocurrency is fast if its network doesn't have much activity on it. Their speed is put to the test when the network becomes congested. How fast your transaction will settle on the Blockchain will greatly depend on this and several other factors.

If you're still on the hunt for the fastest cryptocurrencies in existence, then the top 5 would be Tron, IOTA, NANO, Constellation, and Hedera Hashgraph. XRP and XLM are fast too, but not as fast as DAG-based or DPoS-based cryptocurrencies. That may change as Blockchain networks improve over time. With many options to choose from, people can experience a relief from Bitcoin's high fees and slow transaction confirmation times. Just my opinion :)
