As you can see from Charles-Tim's thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283480.0) about charles ranking up to sr. member rank not too long ago. I did ranked up to sr. member too just now and thanks to all who thinks my posts did contribute to the forum. Thanks to CryptopreneurBrainboss, erikoy, jademaxsuy, DdmrDdmr, tranthidung and the rest who help me achieve this new journey.

How did I see this forum at the first i'm introduced to this forum and cryptocurrency?
I saw this forum as a money making forum and I did earn because of the forum and later on I noticed that it's not all the time so It change my view about the forum and it's not a money making.

What is my posting habit in the forum when I started?
Well honestly, my posting habit is posting shitposts all the time because of ICOs during that time (2018) and I can see it that I can't ranked up.

What did you do to change your posting habit?
It is because I read many threads about how to change your posting habits by using the search button in this forum and also using google to search topics that are not in the forum. Following the rules would also help you on what to do and things that you don't want to do. Accept criticism since you are learning not to fight/argue in this forum.

I find some newbies or lower ranks who really want to rank up but don't think that we are here just to rank up and it's not the what we should focus at all times. We are here not racing to rank up but we are here as a community helping each other and learning from each other. I am also one of the participants in a merit giveaway made by tranthidung. How long you have waited to ranked up to Sr member from Full member, anyway?

Thank you so much for this motivation because each time I go through your profile I get this confidence that I too would grow my account and also stand up as a motivation to others. I get amazed each time I see members of this forum with heavy merits I get this conviction that I too would climb this ladder someday provided I study the way trends are been made and also the legacy  made by memebers of this amazing forum.

This is actually the best place to invest once time in because it helps in creating a profitable standard for young minds to study and also do tremendous research. Am indeed happy am here and making good use of this platform will be my major ambition

Glad you notice early that you were viewing the forum in the wrong manner and had to change your perspective which at the end benefited you more. Many newbie are still thinking in the same manners which is why we get alots of shit poster only posting because they have weekly qouta to full fill. Your story is a perfect example of good habits getting rewarded eventually even though your contributions now aren't been rewarded due to lack of visibility.

I remember encountering your account a while back (you were still a member user) and I had to review your account and either I gave you enough merit to rank up or get you closer to ranking up (can't remember correctly because its been a while). Assuming you didn't have past works worth meriting then maybe today the story would had been different.

My point is, irrespective of your works not been rewarded now, don't get disappointed and start pointing fingers at the system been corrupt instead, just keep doing what you're doing and hope your post are adding value to others. Congratulations on your achieving a new rank, and no worries if there's a vacant slot and you're next in line to rank up, I got you covered <smiles> signature campaign-wise.

I waited for 1 year and 3 months. I ranked up to full member on july 17, 2019 and I thought I wouldn't be able to rank up to sr. member. What I did is I didn't think much about merit at all since some of the thread I created did not received merit until one day I noticed that I received merits in one of the old thread I created.

I am disappointed noy receiving merit even though I tried my best to help but I remember my parent told me that getting disappointed means that you can look back at what I did then change what I need to change or upgrade. I do remember that you send me merits to help me ranked up to full member and thanks to you I did achieve a new crypto life, new journey until this day. Also, I'm one of the participants that you managed. Seen your work and i'm satisfied.

This posts has given me some motivation to keep on learning as well as making quality posts that can possibly help the other users in this forum. You did a really great job and I'm sure that there are lots of success that awaits for you ahead. By the way, I love this line, 'If they can do it, I can do it too'...you really have the strong spirit to succeed. Congratulations!

I guess just continue what you are doing and continue to post a lot of interesting topics and help other members here in the forum. Congratz Nakamura. I have read your topic and Charles-Tim's topic. Both of them are so insprirational. It sounds like I also need to change my posting habit for the better. I was trying to contribute something to the forum but was so scared and didn't know how to properly write it in a topic. Many low ranked members like me will find them in the old you and will find motivation to change from this topic.

There is nothing hard about writing a topic or post generally, if you have not done it before, it can be hard, but practice makes perfection, I can see you ranking up, which means you can do it too like some ranked members once told me, the more you go the better you are. I believe you can see difference now from when you started, that you are better than before. Just be free, communicate what you think, if you are wrong in some aspect, experienced members will correct you, and listening is a requisite to progression on this forum and in many aspect of life. You are good, you do not have to be scared, fear will get you no where than making you not to progress the way you should. Be free.

I never created a topic on this forum before. I'm scared that I would make a topic that no one wants to read. Yes I think I can overcome my fear and make the difference. Thanks for your encouraging words. Let's see how far can I go.

The forum would not be that good without members like you doing the part of sharing ideas into a post to contribute help. And I do believe that you have reap already in what you sow. However, continue to do your best on your way to the next rank.  Do not forget that you had reach this far and that should you keep going on to get what you wanted to achieve may it slow or fast phase.

You can step up anytime too and I had seen that your capable of doing it. But do not forget the other priorities that you should chase not only for this forum but also with your career. Congratulations. I, like you, started with the same wrong ideas. But, fortunately, he stopped in time. I also spent time on ICO until I realized it was a waste of time. Just type what you wanted to search. If it's about wallet but there are existing threads about wallet but can't find it in this forum using search button then try to search it in google and add bitcointalk.org at the end. For example, how to enable 2fa using google authenticator (space) bitcointalk.org. You can check the results.

Looks like there are many new members who are ranking up. I just saw Peanutswar's post earlier and now, your post @nakamura about your achievement. I just didn't notice which one was posted first but regardless, I would like to congratulate you as well. :D

From your op, my key takeaway is that, it's never too late to change and be better. Those days of you sh*t posting are long gone. And this achievement of yours is a proof of that. Surely, there are lot of lower ranking members or even higher ones that are motivated and inspired by what you have achieved.

They are just looking for the merit and not really doing what they supposed to do here in this forum.

That mindset should be changed and shouldn't be kept because that will not help this forum to grow.

Making informative and quality posts is really what we need in order to benefit each other's opinion and knowledge towards a certain topic. A post for merit is really a selfish thing to do and to think here. Btw, congratulations to all the user here that go to a higher rank and achieved what they've worked for.
