Title: Altcoins that go up and down fast? (I'm a noob)
Post by: Adriana__22 on October 26, 2020, 04:34:41 PM
Hey guys, I hope that you are having an amazing day. I made a post about trading and after a bit of research I think that I'll go with altcoins. I was wondering if you know some altcoins that tend to go up and down fast. I have seen FOXT for example, but there's not a market for that. Also, if they can be in known exchanges like Binance it'll be way better.

Thank you so much in advance!

As you are new, I will give you my suggestions:

Ignore every coin which is not at top100.
Do not create account in shady exchanges.  Try to use reliable exchanges such as binance. If it is not listed in binance, that coin is probably now worth investing.
Be very careful and every altcoin may lose 90% of its  value within weeks. I can say that by experience,  as I lost already some money in shitcoins.

Make a portfolio with some btc for long term.

Hi Adriana

I hope you also having a beautiful day.

If I were you I would take a look at sites like CoinMarketCap. Which is listing thousands of altcoins.

https://coinmarketcap.com/

There are to many altcoins with big exchange rate fluctuations. To be honest almost every coin.

On CoinMarketCap you have great charts and a great overview.

Best greetings

ShroomRise

did you mean this FOXT https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fox-trading ?
maybe you should choose others altcoins to trade, so, you will not lose a lot of money in pump and dump coins
just find a coins with good trading volume and market capitalization,
because its more stable rather than a coins with low volume just like your example above
regards

i agree this advise for beginners. because otherwise you have to trade the coins cheap and low volume, which is extremely dangerous.

Most of the coins that rise fast and fall fast are all junk altcoins and quite risky to invest in them, most likely they will go down and never rise again.
Good coins often have small gains or losses and are often listed on major and reputable exchanges.
If you want to find a coin that has a fast increase and a decrease, just check coinmacketcap, there are many such coins there.

Yes, that's true. Most of the coins that experience sharp increase and decrease are been pumped and they may end up dumping forever. Its best to stick with more popular and reputable projects like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and other good projects with long term potential. I would rather stick to one good project than waste my funds with several worthless projects.

Don't be influenced by altcoin whose price can fluctuate quickly because you will definitely be trapped in them. Even if you find it in the market (mostly not the top market), then I believe this is an unpopular altcoin and I think it's a trap for anyone. Rest assured that altcoin whose prices fluctuate rapidly are the ones that are often used as profit-making field by group of people. If you want to trade, make sure you choose an altcoin that is popular and has a good ranking because it is much better to profit in the long run.

If you are new to the crypto market, I think you should stay away from fast rising and falling coins, investing in such coins has a very high level of risk.
It is best to invest in the top coins in the market, which are good and tested. Set up an account at Binance or houbi or some major exchange and find out the coins there.

Just don't go with coins that are super cheap.
They tend to be a scam at the end of the day.

Have you tried BNB? It had been moving a lot lately.
$30 a piece and it moves by a dollar. I think that is a lot when you have large amount to trade.
No problem with trust too since it is owned by a known exchange Binance.

This is new.... Why would you want a altcoin that will go up and down fast? Everyone wants crypto projects that will keep surging lol, anyways every altcoins and even bitcoin have high volatility, they go up and down even when you don't see it coming, since you are new to this I will advice you to figure out why coins are at the top using coinmarketcap, they are rated in the positions they are for some reasons

I personally have invested a little bit in ZCRT, they seem to be working hard and with real products..
ZCRT has only 1million emission and circulating supply of around 400k, the other ZCRTs are tied to ETH at 1:1 by smart contract.
I think I'll not loose money in this project and the benefits will be a lot..

Take a look at zcore.pay and zcore.network and see for yourself..

Don't look for that kind of coins you will lose a lot trading that coins its a pump and dump coins and when times come that many already taking the profit the price will fall even more and it will never rise again. Thats the risk investing in pump and dump coins look for strong coin not the one that easily be manipulated by whales, if you dont want to lose a lot.

ETH can drop and can also bounce within an hour or two which is good for day trading. You might find it hard to earn from it if you are just a noob in trading though. More than 90% of the noob that will try day trading lost their capital. It takes time to learn to trade. Even the pro sometimes loses their trade and all the more to those who try the futures and derivatives without prior knowledge.

If you are looking for only FOXT tokens then you can find them at centralized exchanges like hotbit and mercatox while you can also trade them at ethereum based decentralized exchanges.
As far as high volatility is concerned you should be careful and try to stay in top coins only especially if you are new to crypto market.

Any Altcoins that go up fast and down fast is a pump and dump and I will advice you not to touch them because it would be difficult to know when to buy and sell unless you are part of the pump and dump team. If you are looking for any, just look at the CMC and most of these tokens will low volume are prime candidate for pump and dump

I was wondering if you know some altcoins that tend to go up and down fast.
If you like Altcoins that fluctuate quickly, I think you can invest in DeFi tokens.

I have seen FOXT for example, but there's not a market for that.
FOXT token, you can trade on Mercatox and Hotbit. Info https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fox-trading/markets/

Also, if they can be in known exchanges like Binance it'll be way better.
I think FIL coins are in vogue right now, you can choose to invest. Filecoin is also listed on the Binance exchange. Info https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/filecoin/

It is not necessary to classify all coins that are currently growing and falling in price as junk altcoins. These coins include almost all new tokens in the DeFi sector. When trading such tokens, you can get a large profit, which will be higher than if you trade bitcoin.

From your post i am assuming that you are looking for high volatility coins with high volume to trade actively based on price action and make profit.
Well it is not a hard thing, just create account at top exchanges by volume and start by trading btcusdt or ethusdt pairs because these two have the highest volume and are the best for active trading.

Why FOTX? Where did you see the coin?

There are a lot of altcoin which has a high volatility, I won't tell any coin but you have to try to find out by yourself. But I just suggest you to choose a reputable and trusted exchange when you start to trade. This is the first important thing to know, if you start with a bad exchange you will loss your money and you will not come back again here, that is something that I don't want to. Yeah, new user is a hope for crypto currency to be known by most people.

You can choose like binance exchange that I suggest because I used it. For two years I using it I never found any problem, I have no issue to make deposit and withdraw and it is really friendly exchange especially for newbie. After that you can choose the coin, I agree with someone above me who says you have to choose a top 100 coin, the coins at least will not dump continously when the market is bad.

You are new and it would be better to know or learn how to research on altcoins especially before even thinking of holding or investing in any. You should also understand the risk of holding altcoins, trading on exchanges and so on. This is to make you ready as well as equipping you with the needed knowledge.
About your decision, as a newbie I would say start with top 50 in coinmarketcap or you can narrow it down to top 100. This is to help you reduce your risk of investing in scam projects, most especially new altcoins just entering the market. Also, going for top 100 will make you not to invest in hype projects; many new projects coming up have nothing other than their usual hype and when the price dumps, that's it.
So in ramifications, stick to top 100 on coinmarketcap, they will give you better chances of learning a lot about holding and about altcoins. And lastly, since crypto is volatile in nature, endeavour to invest what you can afford.

So many options not to settle for a shit coins, Binance is a great choice as well.
If you are planning to trade altcoins make sure you have the experience because its not easy. Having no experience in trading can make your money loss, I do suggest to hold first at least some coins in the Top10 list and learn the trading while holding that, the market is very volatile for a newbie familiarize yourself first.

FOXT you mean this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fox-trading/. If yes better to sell all and exchanges to the top coin.

If you are a newbie in the crypto market, I don't think you should invest in such coins. Most of these projects will become a pile of trash, you will lose all your money.
Newcomers are easily blinded by profits and fall into fomo, the best way is for newbies to invest in large, prestigious projects. Think of projects that increase and decrease rapidly when you have a lot of knowledge and experience in this market.

Bad decision if you choose FOXT token for trading in my opinion, besides the bad performance of FOXT token, with prices that have
continued to decline since 2018. The trading volume of FOXT tokens is also very low, to me FOXT token is a shitcoin not worth for buying.
My advice for newbies if you want to trade altcoins can buy the top 10 cryptocurrencies. Such as Ethereum, Ripple, Binance coin and Polkadot.

If you have done research on altcoins, then you must have realized that there are many altcoins. Some advice I can give you is to try to reduce that research to popular coins only. You can see this on CoinMarketCap. make sure that the coin you choose has large liquidity, and also a large volume.
however, the dumps and pumps we see sometimes occur because there is no volume in the swap case. So make sure that the coins you are looking at are large in volume and that the exchanges are everywhere. well, that's all in popular altcoins.

yes you're right, Top 100 coins are suitable for newbies. but not all coins have fast price movements. addition from me, look for coins that have a price below 1$. because coins that have low prices tend to have high volatility. so price movements can change every day.

For newbies, surely the main suggestion will be to always enter in strong altcoin. They will for sure not perform like small cap new coins but they will be safe. As you said altcoin which go up and down fast. New coins can go down really fast and maybe will never go up again. So better stick with good strong altcoin , gain some experience and then may be take some calculated risk with new small cap altcoins.

yes, that's absolutely right, it's better to buy or invest in the top 10 Altcoins because these Altcoins are really good and in the future, it will definitely go up in price. and certainly safer and less risky than Altcoins which are not popular

Every coin in the market is as volatilr as hell, there's a wide option to choose from. But take note, that's not the important factor to be considered. Focus your eye on bitcoin but since it seems you are really eager to try alts then I advice you to work around the top ones. Best examples I can give you is Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Monero, Cardano and the coins near to it because they are old and well reputable already.

Also, don't invest huge amount just yet. For now, know thoroughly first the ground you are playing with. Another benefit you can get is you will only lose small amount if things get worse. Be patient, take one step at a time and good luck :).

my advice for beginners is better not to choose fluctuating coins, volatile coins usually have little liquidity so they have a very large risk,
It's better if you choose a major coin like Ethereum or Litecoin, although it requires a lot of patience, but the risk of loss is very small.

There's no doubt that we need to have up and down movement in the value of both bitcoin and altcoin as the cryptocurrency market is volatile, but it's not a good idea to invest in altcoin that has the tendency to move ridiculously high or low, because there's a possibility that the market of that coin is being manipulated.

Don't take a chance on a new coin with no market, better wait for it to get into a good exchange, build your portfolio first of top coins in the market and just include new coins that you want to include in your portfolio, but after you done your research, every investors are attracted to pump and dump coin but it's to risky you have to spend time how this pump and dump works before going for it.

Since 2017 up to the present, almost price of the altcoins in the market always pump and dump and their main tools for them to attract investors is to hype them and the movements of the price was only 2 way on which are UP and Down in all the exchange site platform into this crypto business.

Almost all of the top 100 altcoins have very good volatility at this moment. You can also try to visit binance as there are also various coins that have traded on binance.
I can't mention the altcoin with the best volatility as the volatility actually depends on the market and fundamental of altcoin itself.
Just try to see that based on the daily trade volume and how good the fundamental that owned by the coin. If you are not experienced enough in altcoin trading and you should never join in the new altcoins as it will be very volatile.

Usually, altcoins with low volume do that, It is like gambling, could go up 50% and down 50%, depends on your luck, but if you want to stay away from volatility you can just trade with 10 altcoins in Coinmarketcap, they move slow but that shouldn't be harsh moves anymore.

You mean coins that quickly recover right? Well those are top 10 - top 20 altcoins on coinmarketcap, actually NEO is one of the best for me, the way this altcoin recovers is like no other, that's why some traders prefer trading with NEO, it always recovers, a reliable coin for long term or short term hold.

Yes, for starters it's not advisable to trade with altcoins. Bitcoin is the best and comfortable choice, starter, or not. But if he wants to dive into trading altcoins, that's his money and choice and he has to take notice of the experience that he'll get from doing that.
Holding is effective for both, starters and not. Personally, I do this but it doesn't make me a noob because emotional control is still involved in it.

if bitcoin keeps up like this now altcoin will all top altcoin going down this actually happened a few times until today altcoin will slowly rise will not go up so quickly I thought it should go up gradually as ethereum until now prices remain below $ 400 currently very low price ethereum should have gone up rapidly.

Yes, it is true that Altcoins that are in the top 10 always experience a recovery when market conditions begin to improve, because Altcoins that are in the top 10 are always in demand and always have a good trading volume.

Why do you ask such question here. Check the graphs. Check coinmarketcap. There are so many altcoins that goes up and down fast. The key is they should be cheap and with low volume.

I can give you some names here but I think a better suggestion will be much more convenient. From my past experience, I have seen alts with low supply face more pump dump situation than alts that have a large token supply. That will not be true for every project but you will find some projects that will show the same results as I told here. So just find a alts that supply is low and listed in reputable exchange like Binance.

Altcoins always rise in price quickly and decrease quickly for many different reasons. I can explain that for the following reasons:
1. Altcoins have low liquidity and they can be intentionally volatile by certain groups of people or good and bad news related to a particular project.
2. Most altcoins (except stablecoins) are affected by the fluctuation of Bitcoin's value. Each sudden increase and decrease can be much more volatile than bitcoin's volatility.
3. Altcoins related to market trends are more susceptible to exchange rate fluctuations. Current examples are DEFI and DEFI projects with high volatility. Besides, newly listed projects on exchanges have large exchange rate fluctuations because they are new and few people own them.

Why would you be interested in coins that nobody knows about? Or do you think that pump and dumps will work for you?

Well, it's only you that knows what's going to work for you, but if I'm the one I wouldn't say that you should go for any coin as you have described. Have you seen DeFi, how they moved up really quick from just one dollar to being worth thousands of dollars, but after that, what happened?

They all still came down. Now people are talking about whether they are still going to recover or not. If you go for any coin that is going up and down real quick, you might be getting in at the wrong point and when it crashes, that will be your loss.

because you admit that you are a beginner, then I will advise you to trade coins that have a fairly large market cap and daily volume and have been listed on several large exchanges, or you see the daily volume of these coins.
while the coins you mentioned I am sure it is not a good coin, unless you dare to take the risk. :)

I would suggest you to stay away from pump and dump coins, if that is what you are looking for because i remember when i was new in this market i was also very much attracted to pump and dump schemes and i did joined many telegram channels for that purpose but soon i learnt that these are not legit things to do and also i learnt the hard way by losing money. So stick to the legit projects and wait for organic growth not any fake pumps.

Some shitcoins down and down for week. Then you will see that next week that coin pumped more than 1000%. If you think its huge the try to see the past history. Actually don't take all pump seriously. I saw many coins was 10 cent. After 2 weeks that coin pumped 345℅ but price was 2 cent. So try to see history.

It's not that easy for altcoins to be listed on Binance.  I just remind you not to follow FOMO, you have to know what risks you receive when you are interested in altcoins that are not top cmc and I call it shitcoin.  Personally I have no interest in new altcoins even though the price is moving higher day by day.

It is normal for altcoins to rise and fall quickly, because altcoins are very volatile. You can indeed take advantage of the Binance exchange
to make profit from altcoins, but always choose altcoins that have high popularity and volume. Don't invest in shitcoins, like FOXT. My advice is
investing in altcoins such as ETH, LTC, BNB, DOT, LINK and XRP. And don't forget to do technical and fundamental analysis to determine the right
price for buying and selling altcoins.

From your post i am assuming that you are looking for high volatility coins with high volume to trade actively based on price action and make profit.
Well it is not a hard thing, just create account at top exchanges by volume and start by trading btcusdt or ethusdt pairs because these two have the highest volume and are the best for active trading.
wise advice. coins or tokens with high volatility are quite attractive to day traders. if you can apply both technical and fundamental analysis techniques you can definitely get bigger opportunities. This requires a lot of practice and experience because the risk is great, so it must be really understood.

Better to avoid dubious shitcoins, or just hit and run if the opportunity arises. although both are risky, choosing a strong altcoin in the market will be safer I think.

If you want a list of altcoin whose price go up or down very quickly and are on the Binance exchange, then I would recommend you these altcoin :
1. ETH
2. XRP
3. CTK
4. TRX
5. UNI
6. CRV
7. SXP
8. CTSI
because the trading volume of these altcoin is very high, so it will be easy for you to trading (buy or sell these altcoin).

I only use two types of coin for trading, bitcoin and Neo, there are few other coins that walk the moon with bitcoin, meaning if Bitcoin goes up the altcoin follows, a good example is NEO, that's why I stick with NEO as my favourite altcoin for trading, my advice is stay away from any altcoin that's not listed on binance exchange, Volume and Liquidity is very important

The first rule of trading is, Choose your onions and let your onions choose you. if you go after highly volatile altcoins you will end up folding up in no time. Kindly follow some experts who have been trading for over a long period of time to guide you.

Trading a currency that goes up and down quickly is very dangerous, if you don't have a lot of experience it is easy to lose all your money. Trading such coins is usually for experienced and knowledgeable investors who will know when to get out.

Also, if they can be in known exchanges like Binance it'll be way better.

Thank you so much in advance!
If you decide to trade a coin with a rapid increase or decrease then trading the coins on binance is a good decision, the altcoins listed on binance are usually good projects and have a future.

Never heard of FOXT. Looks like a scam coin (and maybe you are promoting it? Dunno  ::)). Since you are new over here, I would say don't ask for people which coins to invest in. People will always tend to be biased towards coins they use or invested in even if its a shitty scam coin. You will be investing, it is your responsibility to find out which coins might be good for investment.
Don't go for those coins that go "up and down fast". Those are shit coins getting pumped and dumped. You will end up losing everything if you invest in those coins!
