Title: LOL.. so little warning sending coins to Roobet - =) ur gonna love this
Post by: darkschneider78 on October 30, 2020, 08:18:15 PM
I would avoid sending ETH  to Roobet if you have a stuck pending BTC transaction,

Apparently, they believe ETH and BTC share the same network - So if you have sent them BTC and its still pending .. then you decided to send some ETH..   you won't be able to make a withdraw since you have a pending BTC transaction.

Maybe I missed anew update where an ETH transaction is affected by a BTC transaction ??

More deceiving practices - I guess it's the normal thing with online casinos now. try to get money at all costs.

oh well.. my fault for not catching this.. I really never heard of anything like this before LOL .. geeeeze.. even the scammy of all low-end casinos don't even have something like this .. lol . wow  ( maybe they should follow this methodology)

I guess I will just have to wait it out till this cluster f of unconfirmed transactions has cleared up.. maybe next year in January? =)

mind blown

if you want to challenge this.. explain to me how ETH transactions are affected by BTC transactions =)

If you add enough fee to the transaction, it should be confirmed quickly enough in the network, right? Is this not confirmed yet or do you mean it has not been processed on the site?

So you're saying that they cant be trusted just because of that issue? They've been here on this market for a while and its just not right that they are just try to get money at all cost.
If you do have pending btc transaction and you do decide to make up some ETH withdrawal and did fail then it doesn't mean that you had been scammed.

It do really give out some questions in mind on why the heck it didn't able to go through. Its not something new because there are features where you cant make
any transactions when you do have a pending one.

Making out complaints then better go approach them and tell your concerns.

Don't know Roobet's terms about that but there shouldn't be a problem in the first place. And besides, why not just wait for the BTC transaction to confirm?

Why not bring this issue on the Roobet thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5199911.0) instead?

For sure they will addressed this and clear things for you/us.

That possibly happens because you are dealing with customer support that has a lack of knowledge on cryptocurrency (which may be just hired recently by roobet), it would more valid if you can provide a screenshot of those conversations. Anyway on which way you contacted them? Live support?

Have you tried contacting their support (support@roobet.com)? What have they told you about the situation?
... or you are that kind of guy who makes a mountain out of the situation minus getting an explanation from the other party?

Could be an error or glitch that could quickly be resolved without you coming out here to spit fire.

Is the pending btc transaction on their site? I know alot of sites block WD if you have a pending deposit. Stop being an idiot and making up a bs accusation, just wait for your transaction to confirm and move on.

Confused here.

So you sent them BTC, fee was to low I'm guessing so you decided to send some ETH so you would have a balance to play with? How long ago did you send the BTC, and have you taken any action to move the transaction forward if available.

Next why are you trying to withdraw? Did you play and win? It just seems like a very fast series of events. Biggest question did you reach out to support before deciding to come and blast them here, this is generally the action of someone being disingenuous.

I really don't see anything wrong with the automated system not allowing you to deposit and withdraw from your account regardless of the currency being used. It's unusual behavior and it makes sense to treat it that way.

A few screenshots to substantiate this accusation is a good idea here. Now only something has been written and in no way substantiated.
If you make a statement or accusation, then at least provide us some details with proof like a screenshot or something similar.

I don't think the guy needs to prove anything here. I don't think that this thread was even needed. He should have moved quietly to their support and tried to solve this between them, but he chose the defamation root. Accusing somebody is right, but its height depends on the efforts the accuser made before making that accusation. @Op, it is not bad to shout here and say that roobet is bad unless they did not respond to you for your appeal, but did you appeal to them already?

Try and do a proper investigation on an allegation before coming here to defame somebody or a site. You can send an email to support or search for the ANN. Usually if you have a pending transaction, it might take some patients for it to clear up and accusation should be verified with screenshot if you still feel not resolved.

That's normal for them to block the withdrawals since they have instant deposits. Other casinos that have instant deposits will also block your withdrawal requests until your transaction gets confirmed. You rarely experience this with other casinos because most of them credit the deposits after a confirmation.

Well good to know that it isn't the case.

You are only allowed to withdraw BTC instead of ETH and it has nothing to do with confirmation at all if we follow that.
It could also  be a case of failure to update their terms.

......
He stated above that he do deposit in ETH too after his BTC transaction is still pending out of boredom. So definitely he can withdraw in ETH once his BTC pending transaction is confirmed.
Oh my bad. All this time I was thinking he only deposited BTC. I need to have my coffee. Sorry about that darkschneider78

The only problem was OP didn't stated how long he is waiting for his transaction to confirm. The mem pool is sucks right now and I understand what OP feels about his pending transaction. But it's not necessary to accuse a casino for a scam when they are just waiting your other balance to confirmed. This is my first time to see this kind of issue.

In sportsbet I do deposit ETH and BTC currency at the same time with same scenario with OP. Sportsbet allow my ETH withdrawal even though my BTC is not yet confirmed.

Another thing is that we did not know on which bitcoin address the coins were send ?  If we know then we could check on blockchain for details like how much fee was applied and also if we know the transaction hash, we can accelerate the tx too with the free services avaiable on the forum.

This, not the problem affected between ETH and BTC Transaction.

This is just how they handle the whole balance transaction on your account, to prevent "Double Spending" your all transaction need to have confirmation before you can withdraw the asset.

I have a suggestion for you, RBF your BTC transaction because your transaction was really long to confirm so RBF could be an option just look on the network BTC transaction was really heavy right now. After doing RBF transaction, contact the support to remove the first transaction before doing RBF transaction.

The same happens to me, when the BTC transaction was really heavy so need time to be confirmed and my self decide to RBF the transaction. But RBF transaction make my account getting a problem can't withdraw my balance even RBF transaction already getting confirmation because the they still keep the first transaction before doing RBF transaction.

The support need to remove first transaction manually, nothing to worry about these better to speed up your BTC transaction and do same like me the support will glad to help you.

I think its called a Loophole for them to exploit =)  [ but I think I did mention in the start of my post that they have something like this in superfine print down in their faqs or tos - obviously they aren't gonna put a neon sign warning on the initial deposits or on wd ]

thinking I shud used a bigger font case and bold fonts on my next post =)

Is it possible that your pending BTC deposit was instantly credited then you lose them all and sent a fund in ETH after that, then you intended to withdraw? In this kind of cases, there might be a misunderstanding since it is clear that on Roobet site, they have a notice that you cannot withdraw unless your pending deposit is confirmed and this time you have unconfirmed BTC deposit.  So I guess you have to talk to the customer support more patiently.

If it was instant then we wouldn't be talking about it, right?
Since they have this rule (doesn't "matter" why they have it) about pending transaction of any coin, why all this fuss? Ofc doesn't effect any of the coins but since they have this rule, simple follow yahoo62278 advice:

just wait for your transaction to confirm and move on.

The problem is not only waiting but for how long he should wait. As the hours and days pass by the frustration increases and at the same time, OP might think the site may scam. The best solution would be that the support should look at this case and reply to him that he should wait for the tx confirmation. This way he will be relaxed as it is only the matter of transaction being confirm and no manipulation of scam by the site.

It is in some way unjustified to name the subject as the op did, because now people get the impression that it would be a scam, but that has nothing to do with that of course.

Your ethereum is ready for bets right? If not then you can call them shady because you missed out the betting opportunity due to their tos but here you just want to withdraw which is restricted for security measures.

There is no way to cancel your broadcasted transaction unless you want to double spend it. If you do then you sre the scammer. :)

That's true but it's not casino's fault and I'm more than sure that if OP contact support as he said that he did, they will tell him the same: Wait for the tx to be confirmed.
Since he already knew it from his first post, he should have been relaxed without saying anything.
Anyways I guess OP's want to express his curiosity about the reason behind this rule and why (a lot) casinos apply it.

The transaction still pending?. If not then it's on their side and you should contact them so you will havr btc balance now instead of complaining about it. You have to wait before the transaction get through and gamble all you want. Also, did you use a wallet provided where you can adjust the fee of the transaction like electrum?.

Have you experienced this issue? and were you able to escalate it already to their support then then answer is similar to what you  are saying that you cannot withdraw your eth if you still have a pending transaction in btc?

This is a little bit tricky because in the first place they have separate network and I am not so sure though if how Roobet operates their deposits and withdrawals. If you haven't escalate it to their support or any team that you can reach via their social channels, it will be good if you will do this first because they are the only one who can provide a solution to your problem as of this moment.

Several days have passed did your transaction confirm already? And if it has, can you make withdrawals? I understand why you could be mad about this but this is a casino that has been in the market a long time and it has a good reputation I doubt they are going to scam a customer and risk their reputation here.

Most likely what we are seeing here is either a glitch or just an honest error so there is no need to get so worked up about this, calm down and try to talk with the support so this can be resolved as soon as possible.

You can really expect for someone to have that kind of reaction specially if their funds get stuck into a website on which they do immediately saying up things without
even thinking on how long the website is been operating and how it been trusted by many for some time. They wont just messed up their reputation by having that
transaction glitch or some sort.It is really in total different chain between ETH and BTC and also you can make out deposits in unlimited manner plus with the
withdrawal which it isnt really depending if you do have pending or not as long you do have the balance then you can do such thing.

After a quick look at their TOS I couldn't find any information that all deposits have to be confirmed before players can withdraw their funds. But since it is mentioned on their withdrawal screen, they don't seem to be doing anything unusual.

Although it is a hassle, you have to understand that they need to protect their own interests here. Since they have instant deposits with 0 confirmation, someone could make an incoming transaction with low fees, gamble on the site, and than double-spend the same Bitcoin to one of his own addresses. That way he would be cheating the site. They are just making sure that is not what you are doing.

He just say it by word and not showing any proof so possibly OP is just creating an issue just to give a little doubt to the roobet users, and I see this as normal attacks from competitors since as I see roobet is so successful today.

Also If he have an issue on roobet why he doesn't contact the support? They are the one who can solve the issue and not the people here since for sure the one he gets are just speculation and unclear answer

Also this is for OP for transactions always use the recommended fee's and don't use low since expect your transaction to take more longer since both network is congested these days.

On the second post of the OP on this thread he posted a picture about the issues he was having so I doubt he was lying, but to me this seems as if he got very worked up for something that was not a real problem, the networks are very congested and he could not withdraw any of the money in the casino until all the deposits were confirmed, which to me as a policy makes sense.

However the OP has not been active since October 31 so it seems we are not going to know if the issue was ever resolved, but I suppose it did, otherwise he would have complained even further.
